| Currently, the city lies in ruins, and is declared a disaster area. In order to survive here, individuals must have Endurance +19 and above, otherwise they must be equipped with special gear. Individuals below +19 Endurance without special gear will die after 3 posts. These are the laws of Velo City Follow them, and you will be protected with equal justice. Violate them and due punishment will be handed out. This is your only warning.

- Needless violence within city grounds is unacceptable. Velo City is a place of peace, knowledge and prosperity; we do not do long term imprisonment here. After your trial, you will either be banished or executed, depending on the severity of your crime.
- While you are permitted to have you own weapons, possession of illegal weapons is well, illegal. If caught with an illegal weapon you will be banished from the city. The weapon in question will be seized by the local Spec Ops. This includes magical weapons as well.
- Teleporting within the city is allowed, provided you are not attempting to teleport in a restricted area. Remember, the use of magicks and technology within thie city is constantly monitored; Teleporting into Yamiichiba, Nyūgoku Shūyōsho or Sekkaigan-jo without prior permission from the Velo council is illegal, and is punishable by death. As for teleporting out of the city, or teleporting into the city-- these are not allowed.
- If you attempt to destroy the city, arcane markings will appear on your flesh. No matter your strength or powers these markings will lock you in place, draining your energy away so that you can not move or escape. The markings burn hotter than the sun, but the heat is only inflicted upon the offender's body. The markings will constrict and constrict around your body until you are crushed down into nothing but a melting ion. Yes, this is an instant kill for your character.
These laws are subject to constant update as the council of Velo City strives to make it a better place to live.
*Please note that illegal weapon is a loose term. If an opject is upon seizure is determined to be an illegal weapon, then the Spec Ops will confiscate it, as well as detaining everyone involved with the creation. The Velo City Spec Ops reserves the right to determine what is, and what isnt an illegal weapon at the time of seizure. | |
