Here comes Trouble~ [Squall, or Invite][NR]

Demi glanced about as she entered the city for the second time that day. For some reason she sort of expected wanted posters of some kind to be up and littering the walls with her face plastered all over them; but she didn't see any. Perhaps her little painting issue had gone un-noticed, or perhaps it hadn't hit the proper nerve and she needed to dig around to find a new one to aggravate.

She really still had no idea exactly what she was going to do now that she was here; though her mind had presented her with over a dozen choices of things she could easily do that would accomplish the needed chaos she hoped to inflict. However, for the moment at least, she was keeping her hands to herself, and waiting for Squall to join her in the slow walk into the city itself...

The world next the Demitria would warp, and cave in on itself to allow the male entrance to this city. He offered a small nod to Demitria, hand gripping the Ninjato tighter. "So.. where to?" He was in no rush. It was a detour, a side-trip. Good times and the like. If they had a good time, it was well worth it; if not.. well, he had plenty of time.

Demi blinked at the question and shrugged. "I guess just a random walk till I find something to amuse myself with, cause chaos, and... cause Himitsu some aggravation." Her wicked grin slid right back into place on her face and she continued forward, slowly.

There were random people about; but they didn't hold her interest for more than the second or two or took to distinguish them as all harmless. She glanced about as she walked and after a moment said, "You know.. I'm beginning to understand why my best friend enjoys blowing things up so much, especially if she feels how I feel now..."

Almost as if she couldn't help herself, or like some unexpected random twitch of her body happened her left arm shot out, hand clenching into fist as it did so. It was a blur of a movement; but the strength behind it as it hit the wall was incredible. Her fist punched through the concrete wall as if it were foam and she withdrew her hand with a great deal more slowness than she'd used punching it...

Her hand was coated in the white from the wall, and littered with a few small pieces which she swept off easily enough. "Well.. that... that helped a little...." She glanced over to Squall. "So... Have you ever been here before?"

A smile formed across the male's face; amused, he was greatly. He showed no more reaction that the smile; he knew of a vampire's strenght. And being the child of one as old as Maximillian claimed to be, Demitria was bound to be strong. In response, he shook his head, and began to move, walking down the street towards the crowd of onlookers gathering. "No, I have not. But I'm guessing you have."

Several feet away from the crowd, the male offered them a smile before turning back to Demitria. "Can you tell me about this place?"

Demi walked beside him, glancing to those in the crowd with hardly a care in the world if any of them had seen what she had done. It was done, it was over with, and that hole wasn't going to disappear without a good bit of effort; no use crying over spilled milk - or a broken wall for that matter.

"Eh, I've shown up a few times... all the white caught my attention one day, so I decided to add some color. Didn't go over too well with Himitsu, the lady who runs the place, and... well, her reaction made me want to do it over and over again." She shrugged. "She's got some strict laws, no weapons or any of that. No drugs. But..." She tapped her temple with a wicked grin. "The things I pick up on... are far from pretty. Weapons and slaves being sold for the most part..."

A frown passed over the Malkavian's face, and as they passed by a decorative statue she simply reached her hand out again; only instead of punching the thing she simply pushed it over, retching it free from the bolts that held it in place. "Maybe... because my best friend's an Angel, or maybe because there's still a part of me inside that gives me some morals.. but it irks me, badly..... Other than that, best impression I get is she's a very strict ruler..."

"No weapons?" Squall glanced down at the weapon he held, a Riflejato. "Well... fuck. Guess I'm breaking the laws already."

The male shrugged, continueing on, following Demitria loosely. He paused for a moment, head canting to the right somewhat. "She.. has slaves?" A frown crossed his face as reflected back on the treatment of the Moombas in the Galbaldia prison. "Perhaps.. we should pay her a visit. I'd like to have a small 'talk' with her about these slaves."

Demi glanced sideways at him and then shrugged. "If that's what you want... no idea where she is though. But, I'm assuming she doesn't leave the city. I sure haven't seen her on Amaranth's island... and that Kane is pretty vigilant about who comes and goes; even when she's got mountains of tourists."

She shrugged lightly and walked forward. "Also... why am I getting this little voice in the back of my head that is telling me that when you say 'talk' it... means something possibly more violent and deadly?"

“Possibly. That depends on how she answers my questions. I shall not stand to see another person in bondage, unless it is a contract. And even then, its subject to questioning.” His left hand gripped the Riflejato tighter.

“Mayhaps one of these ...'fine' people knows the way to Himitsu?”

Demitria's gaze flickered over to one of the people passing by. Her hand shot out, grabbing the person by the arm in a blur of movement. Her touch was gentle and kind though, completely opposite of what she had one to the wall. "Well, hello there. Any idea where the lady who runs this city lives? Himitsu I should call her?"

The startled citizen stammered and pointed, reeking of fear. Demi raised a brow and looked off in the direction that was pointed towards before releasing the citizen with no harm done - minus a possible mild heart attack from fear.

She started walking in the pointed out direction, grinning. "Maybe it was something I said....", she added in reaction to the person's fear.

“Very well done. I do believe you made him piss himself.” He turned, following Demitria closely. The remaining people, gave them a wide berth as the walked through the streets. This was fine for the male; he hand an aversion to being touched by people, even in the slightest passing.

As the male walked, that spark passed back into his eyes, indicating a Scan of the area around them as they moved. The entire area had a feel of magic to it, something strange. The male could not shake the feeling that he was being watched, somehow.

“Well madam... Is it just me, or does it feel like someone is watching our every move?”

"Ooops.", Demi simply replied to the idea of having made the man piss himself, only her tone of voice was filled with laughter - even though she was suppressing it very well at the moment.

At his next words however she tilted her head, unleashing for the moment her senses out to the city. Normally she didn't bother; she had a slightly sick twisted joy in being /surprised/. But as she focused she laughed outright. "I suppose so... yeah." She could definitely feel it, from head to toe, too. She doubted very much it came from the people who gawked or stared at them as they passed by; even after being given such a wide berth.

Then she found her mind wandering as it often did; thinking about how silly the humans were to think that just by giving her a good extra few feet of space that it would possibly stop her from reaching out and snatching one of them up. She knew she didn't even have to touch with one of them to fuck with them; but the idea was almost appealing... to scare the ever living shit out of everything around, besides Squall. However, she snapped back to focus less than a second later, saving these thoughts for another time.

They had another task before them, it wouldn't do to be getting side tracked now. "I sort of feel like we should wave... or flip the bird. Either or...", she said after a moment, that playful grin spreading across her face once more.

"I.. have a better idea." A smile crossed his face as a plan formulated. "You know.. we could go to her, and she can deny to seeing us. I'd rather not waste that time." Taking in a dep breath, the Sleeping Lion let out a shrill whistle. Passerbys looked at him in wonder, some covering thier ears in as they did. The sound painful, even to his ears, and hung in the air for several seconds before dying out.


In the distance, sounds rose up, like that of a giant gate opening slowly. The odd creaking was followed by a howl, which was joined by two more. The sounds of claws skittering across concrete and asphalt filled the air. People began to scream, pointing in terror as a giant three-headed dog lumbered down the street, crushing people beneath its paws and sending people flying into buildings with long swings of its tail.

The male reguarded the beast carefully; this Cerberus, the Hellhound. It was best to approach it with in a calm manner; one could never know which of the three heads was in charge at the moment. The left head was docile, calmer than the rest. When that head was in charge, Cerberus acted like an overgrown puppy. The right head, while calm, was more logical. It acts only after considering the possible outcomes of a occurance, and often took forever to do so. The center head, however... was a different story. The center head was arrogant, headstong, and reckless. It cared for little else than its own benifit; and that sometimes extended to include Squall. Right now... it was best to determine the who was incharge. Six sets of eyes narrowed on the Sleeping Lion as the center head raised up, tilting to the side. "You callled me...?"

Shit. Center head; better proceed with caution. "Aye, I did. Figured you could use the exercise. You're getting a bit chubby."

Six eyes narrowed as three mouths snarled at him. The heads lowered, coming close the male. "Do not mock me, Lion. What do you want?"

Squall rolled his eyes, placing a hand on the canine's closest nose and pushed it away. "Easy, big guy. I'm just joking. But honestly; wreck shit around here. Trying to draw someone out."

The hellhound gave a snort to this, anger brewing in all six eyes. He might have been pissed off to be used in such a manner, but the wagging of his tail showed his excitement. Destroying things? There was a reason why he was the feared guardian of the gates of hell. "Very well. Do not complain if I happen to crush you." With another triple how, the canine leapt down the street. Heads snapped up people, crushing them in jaws as paws crushed more underfoot.

Squall chuckled, turning to Demitria. "Would you rather this, or flipping the bird?"

A loud voice. Squall and Demi both would hear it. It wasn't deafening loud, but loud enough to get the point across. The voice sounded young, but full of experience.

"The two of you need to get back to Edge, to Darkman Tower. I need to see the both of you in my office asap. Don't dwaddle. Don't make me come out there after you. I can be your best friend or your worst enemy."

Demi tilted her head a bit at Squall, wondering what sort of idea he had in mind. Then she heard the whistle, followed by the sound of.. paws? Her head shot up, an an eyebrow rose again as she looked off in the direction the sound was coming from. 'That.. is one big fucking dog...', Demi thought to herself.

She had just been about to contemplate poking the thing when it spoke. Her head tilted again to the other side and she just watched as the two conversed; and then the animal wandered off to destroy things. Her sensitive nose picked up on the smell of blood as the wind blew again in their direction.

She looked back to Squall and grinned. "Oh, this will get more interesting results than flipping the bird.. of that I'm sure." She then turned her focus back onto the carnage. It almost made her feel the urge to help; almost. But, for now it was much like watching her favorite show: violence and bloodshed 101.

Then another sound reached her ears; a voice. Alec Kane's voice. "Uh, shit... about covers this situation. We need to go. Like.. now. Nothing good is going to come from keeping the Boss waiting..."

With that said she turned and walked her happy-psycho ass out of the city, pushing another two statue's out of her way as she did so; which fell over with a loud crash. At the edge of the city she took off, heading back to Edge.

"T'ch." Wonderfull timing. A summons to come back and actually meet the 'Boss'. "Ah, well. I suppose I can always come back and finish the job." With another loud whistle to call Cerberus back to him, the male leapt atop the canine, folded time around them both to get them out of the city, and vanished. -Exit-
