First Meets [NR][Demi, Squall, or invite]

Alec sat in his father's big leather recliner behind the large customized desk. He'd gotten reports of 2 of his 'employees' out in an unknown city, wreaking havoc, 'causing a disturbance,' general children's shit. The Psychotic Gunman couldn't fly off the handle and start shooting mother fuckers before asking any questions like he had in the years past as part of The Chaos Squad; no, he had to play this just like a Boss would.

His left arm lie across the rest of the chair, his right elbow upon it's rest while he clutched his chin between his index finger and thumb. Silver eyes stare out of the nearby window, scanning the city skyline. Thinking over the words to use without being downright rude, he waited for both of his employees to come walking into the large spacious office. The butler downstairs on the 1st floor was informed to show Demi and Squall through the building to the turbo elevator and up to the 1,000th floor.

Whistling a merry little tune Demi walked up to Darkman Tower and inside. Quickly spotted and shown to the elevator it wasn't long before she arrived on the 1,000th floor. She blinked as she glanced about a bit and then continued on to Alec's office.

She knocked, waited a second and then opened the door, stepping side. Her arms folded across her chest as she took in the interior of the office; and then her gaze fell upon Alec and remained there. An eyebrow rose in silent curiosity. She kind of found herself wondering how pissed off he actually was; and what he was going to do about it.

She had known better than to go on her destructive rampage around here; it was her best friends father's city, plus she thought of Alec kind of like a second dad; so to do such would be disrespectful. Which, was why she took her destructive ways elsewhere... "Hello."

Seems as if Demi had already made it. No bother; he'd be along shortly. As he strolled into the lobby of Darkman tower, he gave a brisk nod to the butler, who directed him to the elevator. As the Sleeping Lion stepped inside the elevator, he paused, adjusting his clothing and brushing them off. "Damn, I look good."

And off we go!

The rise to the top was smooth, very smooth. As the male stepped out of the elevator, he caught a glimpse of Demitria stepping inside the nearest doorway. Must be the Boss's room. Ah, well. The male stepped after her very quickly, hands shifting on Calamity to hold it as if it were a cane. Blue eyes glanced around the room, nodding to Demitria before resting on the silver haired man behind the desk. "Evening."

Alec stared at Demi. Silver eyes with a frustrated look in them seemed to stare straight through the half dressed Vampire. If Destiny ever came in here dressed like that he'd definitely make her go get him a switch. He almost wanted to get up and take off his belt to slap across that ass a few times, as she was a daughter to him the same as Destiny was. He stared, but didn't say a word, for now.

"..."

Alec looked at one of the new editions to the company next; Squall. He looked strong, experienced. Alec sniffed the air several times, seeing that the man stank of magic. It wasn't a nasty smell like under arm or passed gas, it was a scent that let one know that he was a magic user. Squall knew what he was doing, Alec could see this right from the go, but he as well as Demi had some explaining to do. Alec said nothing to Squall yet either.

"..."

Alec simply reached forward onto his desk and typed words onto a keyboard not visible. The desk lit up at points that looked like keys where Alec's fingers touched. A large screen appeared to the left of Alec, that showed in colorized detail their frolic within the city of Shinkai Shigai. The big dog, the rainbows, the paint, the mindless slaughter. The recording would often rewind and zoom in on their faces to show them in clear, recognizable detail.

While this went on, Alec opened a drawer next to him, pulling from it a Gold Desert Eagle to lie across the top of the desk. He'd also pull from this desk a brown "Cigar" and a lighter. The "Cigar" began to give off a strange pungent aroma when Alec lit it, taking from it a long drag. The area about him slowly began to become clouded with a smoke that had a green tint.

Smoke still drifting from his mouth and nostrils, Alec said, "Ok let's hear it. Let's hear what that shit there is all about, cause this has gotta be good. And YOU, Demi," he pointed at her. "Are gonna have to explain that outfit."

Demi shrugged as she watched him. She wasn't going to lie; again because of the respect and for two because she was sure he'd smell it before she even got the words past her lips. "Eh, honestly? I was bored. Pure and simple, bored and had someone to mess with. I wasn't going to do that here, nor on Amaranth's little island.. but I had some pent up energy I had to let loose and figured that was the best way to do it. I didn't hurt anyone, and it's nothing that can't be fixed. Besides, that woman irks me slightly with all the shit I hear..." She tapped her temple for a moment, indicating her mind reading ability "... So, it's not like she's some harmless little victim or something and I'm some sort of evil big bad wolf. The things that woman allows to go on are horrible; so, consider it my little form of punishment... Besides, those statues looked at me funny.." She wasn't joking with her last sentence either, as her voice was deadly calm and serious; crazy Demi was just that... crazy.

She then looked down at her outfit and back to Alec. "And what's wrong with my outfit? I've been staying over on Amaranth's island and enjoying the ocean.. I just haven't felt like changing since I figured I was going back to see Flynn anyway, and make sure Amaranth didn't let loose another werewolf zombie experiment."

Well well. This was going to be fun. The Sleeping Lion's face remained stoic, blue eyes carefully watching the Alec. He wasn't afraid of him, but he'd heard the stories about him, of his legendary kill streak. He had no intention of lying; the male was an angel. They could smell a lie the moment it was told.

"According to Demitria, the woman who owned the city allowed people to be sold into slavery as punishment for thier crimes. I cannot, despite all that I have done, sit by idly and allow that. Humans are not cattle." The male sniffed the air; what the hell was that? Was that... no, it couldnt be.

"I wanted to speak to Himitsu, but I figured that we would be turned away if we came to her about this particular subject. As well, the entire time, I had the feelin that we were being watched from the moment we set foot into the city. I figurd I'd give whomever, especially Himitsu, a perfect reason to come speak with us." The male shrugged. "Simple as that."

The halo that was always above Alec's head grew brighter. Electricity popped around the golden glowing ring, causing a loud BZZZT sound. He took another hard hit of the cigar and exhaled a large cloud of the green smoke, his right eyebrow twitching.

"Whatever goes on in that city is whatever goes on in that city," Alec said, trying his best to keep his Psychotic rages in check, something he wouldn't have done back in the days of Ness Crib. "While I appreciate the good intentions and the good guy actions, that shit out there ain't our problem and you can't just start tearing shit up like a fucking idiot. Now if these mother fuckers out there decide to retaliate, that's on my head, I gotta deal with that mess. I have enough going on as is, i'm not trying to be out here wiping yall's asses and coming to bail you out of shit, this is no daycare and i'm no babysitter. You are representing me and my father Darkman and have to carry yourselves more professionally. And YOU, Demi," He pointed at her. "Have you lost the few brain cells you got left in your head? YOU KNOW better than that, you were bored? What the fuck, I got zombies and monsters and shit running around the factories district if you want something to take your energy out on, what the hell am I gonna tell Maxi? Get your ass over here over my knee."

Alec flicked ashes into the tray while moving the big leather chair backwards somewhat. "We got some decisions we need to be making, so get your minds right and make your choices..."

Demi blinked, watching his halo grow brighter and his eyebrow begin to twitch. She figured she should keep her wise cracks and little side comments to herself for the moment; especially given the fact that she rather didn't want her ass beat worse than it probably was about to be.

She also kept her little comment to herself, as she walked over to Alec, that Maxi probably wouldn't have had an issue with her destroying something at random - and in fact he probably would have found it hilarious... or helped. Either or. But, nope, she wasn't about to because she didn't want the angel any more pissed than he already was.

She she presented her clothed butt and awaited whatever was going to come; even if proved time and time again she liked getting her ass beat... in fact, Dez and her threw each other into and through walls all of the time in their violent little disagreements.

"If they decide to retaliate, then I shall handle it myself, Alec." Those blue eyes gained back the electric spark, the stoic mask breaking for a moment. "Though I work for you, I am still the head of the SeeD mercenary corp; we specialize in eliminating magical and non-magical targets. We, like you, are world reknown for our effectiveness. If this Himitsu person decides she wants to retaliate, she and her army shall not live past arranging themselves on the battlefield."

Was he bluffing? Far from it; he was part of the team that took down the sorceress that tried to compress time a while back. Since then, under his leadership, SeeD has flourished, gaining world reknown for thier methods. He was pretty sure that his files had been send ahead of him; Cid was in charge of his paperwork. "Even if I have to do this alone, war will not reach us."

Alec grabbed and lie the vampire across his lap on her chest while sitting in the leather recliner the same way a concerned father would do to his hot little daughter. "Well aren't we just the take charge kick all ass bonafide hero," Alec said to Squall, lifting Demi's skirt to reveal her bare bottom. "Yeah, I know if she tries something she's going down, the last thing she's gonna see is my shotgun in her mouth. I don't send someone to go do something I can go do myself, folks will soon learn this. We wanna play things a little more chill, we aren't a bunch of crazed warlords."

A large palm came down upon the buttox of Demi as his attention turned to the vampire in his lap at the moment. "And YOU, Demi," he said, the palm coming down upon the marvelous ass once more to produce a loud perceptible pop sound that echoed through the office. "...Are not on Amaranth's island at the moment. Do you know how many rapists psychos and freaks are running around? You can't be walking around here with your ooh la la's and your no-no spots out for everyone to see, show some decency. I know you can defend yourself just as well as that psychopath Maxi the Toyota King, but you're just asking for trouble with that look around here. Change your damn clothes!" With that said the hand came down upon those cheeks once more.

Demi flinched each time she was hit, and a soft hiss escaped her. He hit.. hard. Though, some of her problem came with the fact she didn't want Squall seeing her ass. "Ouch, okay okay.. I learned my bloody lesson... and I'll wear more clothes. And I'll leave Himitsu alone... at least until she comes after me, then I'll probably eat her. And I won't go picking fights... Can I get up now... and go get more clothes on?" Which of course would involve going back to Amaranth's little island, as that's where all of her stuff currently was.

Crazed warlords, eh? Alright. "As you wish." The male turned away, as Kane began to spank Demitria; it had to be bad enough to be spanked at her age, but to have somenoe you didnt know watching? Worse. As the male stood there, a though occured to him; why not make a game out of it?

"Kane.. I have a wager for you? If she does happen to retaliate, perhaps we can make a game of who can kill her first? Say... one million on her head?" He didnt know if Alec was a gambling man; but it was worth a shot. Somethign to make the kill more intersting.

Alec pulled her skirt down again and stood the girl up, holding her before him a second before shaking his head some and releasing her. He took another drag from the "Cigar" to hold the smoke in for several moments before exhaling. Because of his constant healing factor, Alec never got to enjoy the high for long. He flicked ashes before moving the chair back close to the desk. "That hurt me more than it did you," Alec said, flailing his hand back and fourth somewhat.

Alec listened to what Squall said next and almost considered the bet, but he wasn't like that anymore. The woman would have to be a fool to come charging in here with all the weapons and equipment situated. "You sound a little hungry for battle there, Squall," Alec said, blowing out more smoke. "If someone does come around, let's hear what they have to say first. If it's legit, let me handle it from there. If it's some bullshit? Do what you do."

Alec opened another drawer on his desk to reach in and grab something, then slide two pendants across the desk. "I want to officially welcome you 2 to the Company, though this isn't the kinda meeting I wanted to have at first. You should take those. My father Darkman created a phenomena called the Dead Zone. You can't teleport or open doors to other dimensions anywhere in Edge, if you didn't know. You can't do other things too, like fuck with time or warp reality. If you try anyway, you die a very painful death. The Kane family is immune to this Phenomena. Those closest to me get these pendants. They let you get around some of the effects of the Dead Zone, but not all. NEVER try to teleport into or out of this building whether you're wearing that pendant or not, because you will die."

Pendant:

Alec leaned back in the recliner some after taking another large drag of the "cigar," flicking ashes afterwards. "3 rules to these pendants. If you abuse the power i've given you, i'mma fuck you up. If you use this to kill innocent citizens, or for anything evil, i'mma fuck you up. If you ever try to use this on me, i'mma fuck you up." Alec took another hit, holding it in, then exhaling. "The main rule being this... and I can't stress this one enough. If you ever decide to betray me, whatever you do, you better do the job right and make sure I don't get up because I will kill you, bring you back to life, kill you again, come into the afterlife and kill you for a 3rd time. Do not test if this is true or false."

Alec blew out smoke and put the rest of the "Cigar" into the ashtray. His face returned to the normal emotionless mask that he normally wore. "All in all, stay on my good side and we won't have problems. Cooperate, and I see big things in the future for both of you, you'll both go far in the Company. Now, you're free to stick around, I have plenty of video games, anime hentai if that's your vice, movies, whatever... or you're free to go."

Once situated once more she looked to the pendant; and took one, glancing at it for a moment. She listened to what Alec had to say and then gave a nod. "Alrighty... I'm.. gonna go, then. I need to get back to Sugure no Shima..." She took one last glance at Alec and then at Squall before turning and leaving the way she came; and heading right back down the elevator and out of the building.

Once outside she took off, heading back to the island...

"Actually, boss. I got a few questions." The Sleeping Lion relaxed himself somewhat, widening his stance and such. His head tilted to the left, bones withing his neck popping rather loudly.

"This 'Dead Zone' phenom.. what exactly does it do?"

Alec watched Demi leave. He didn't want to embarrass the girl, but she was basically family. If he didn't care, he wouldn't have said or did anything at all. The girl was crazy, yes, but he wasn't going to have anything happen to her because of her wildness.

To Squall's question he just grinned some. "...Even I don't know all of the specific details myself," he said. "My father liked to talk in riddles and codes sometimes. Long story short, it makes for a fair fight."
