A family reunion long in the making [NR]

The 3 swings he did after the first were enough to break that spear. He missed the Haymaker, and John Kane activated his Demon Trigger. Alec was taken by surprise by being launched upwards, and then came that foot.

Before it hit, the Symbiote quickly formed armor around him as protection, but the one kick was enough to shatter his long time companion. The kick still hurt even with the shield and Alec was sent rocketing backwards at a high velocity, the Angel Sword spilling from his hand.

Alec bounced twice before righting himself and landing on his feet to slide backwards on one knee for what seemed like a long time, tearing up the ground and creating a large cloud of dust. Alec put his left hand on his chest and coughed, feeling blood drip down one side of his mouth. Were it not for his Symbiote, he would have been done for. As the black liquid substance retreated back within him, he knew it would be useless for the rest of this fight.

"Thanks, friend... Rest now. I'll handle the rest..."

John, with Demon Trigger active, would now be slow, but pretty much invinvible. He said Alec didn't stand a chance from the beginning, and now this fight was over. To defy him, Alec stood to his feet again, taking a deep breath, showing that he could still fight on.

"I see where John Jr got his cockyness from! I also saw the surprise in your faces when we did moves from the other world! I don't stand a chance?... Lets find out! Watch this!"

Alec was pulled airborne. The space around him began to distort and change. Red colored energy began to bombard Alec from multiple sides. Alec's black hair turned white, while his eyes turned red. Veins in his neck and face looked to be glowing. His coat turned red as well, while the air and space surrounding Alec moved and distorted as if it were heated.

When he landed, his own Demon Trigger form activated for the first time, having learned it from walking in his father's footsteps in the Animus, Alec could feel that he was as strong and as tough as he'd ever been, but his speed was gone.

Demon Trigger:

That didn't matter. He had other tricks up his sleeve...

Destiny watched as her chain caught around John Jr's leg which left him open for the several explosive attacks from Junior. Then John Jr was sent flying towards Demi who kicked him into the air and then followed this by kicking him back down towards the ground. Destiny was sure that all had to hurt, but given that John Jr was a full blooded angel she was sure he was healing just as fast from his wounds, though some looked to be permanent.

Destiny couldn't help but wonder if he'd stay down for good or get back up. His father was doing something strange, likely a trump card power from the gist she was getting from John Jr, but it likewise seemed her father was pulling off a new trick himself. This was definitely going to be interesting.

Thinking quickly Des would use a old power that she had learned to harness and manipulate better : her holy shield. If John Jr wasn't fast enough this shield would surround him from all sides including too and bottom and box him in. She wasn't aiming to kill him or crush him, simply to keep him from being able to move or attempt to use his difference in speed against Junior. Of course, like with all of her abilities, they wouldn't affect Demi or Junior - meaning they would be able to pass in and out of this 'box' without resistance.

Jr pulled his gloves on tighter, noticing that all attacks hit their mark. Demi knocked him airborne before sending him back down to the ground hard. Alexis and Alexander seemed to be shocked, and Harriet still looked like she knew all of this was going to happen.

Of course, John Jr was healing himself after having some of his head blown off. Jr turned to see his father make a nasty swing towards John Kane with the Angel Sword so fierce that it tore open reality, but miss. John turned on that Demon Trigger ability of his and kicked his father a distance. His symbiote armor dulled the attack, but his father still looked wounded. John Kane said that the fight was over, and that his father never really stood a chance. John Jr added to this by saying it didn't matter what they did to him, that they didn't stand a chance now, and that it was time to surrender.

"Geez, you both sound the same," replied Jr. "Look at you. A minute ago you were saying you could take all three of us at the same time, now you're sucking dirt. You really think my dad has no chance? You really think someone weaker has no chance against someone stronger? You're a retard. To think i'm actually related to you, will you just shut up and keep sucking on that dirt?"

Further attempts to make him angry. Jr looked back toward his father as he activated the same Demon Trigger that John Kane did. "So, this must be because of that 'Bleeding Effect' that Devon mentioned. Interesting... but somebody said that we didn't stand a chance and that we should just give up, huh? Bet you wanna eat those words now, yeah?"

Things were getting interesting. Both of Demi's attacks landed and landed well, ending up with John Jr in the dirt. The situation between her father and grandfather was also changing: it was becoming far more intense then it had been – John's spear had been broken, and it looked like her father's symbiotic armor had withstood a lethal attack and might even be ineffective for a bit. John began to pull off some move that made him super strong while John Jr began to talk shit from the ground where Demi had put him: still calling them all weaklings, telling them they don't stand a chance, and that they should surrender.

It was then that Dez would attempt to lock John Jr in what looked to be her famous holy shield; though she was using it in a method she hadn't before – not just coming at him from one side but from all sides to surround and trap him with it. Were that the case, and were that to be successful Demi would speak, “See, you keep talking down to us because we live on Earth but there's something you need to realize and quickly: coming from earth we've had to deal with more then just demons. We've had to learn to adapt to everything and anything that can and has been thrown at us. It gives us experience and know-how that you'll never be able to possess: no matter how much you may watch us from up here.”

Demi figured it was a fair anayalasis even if it would only further piss John Jr off. You had to learn from experience, and when you were used to dealing with only very strong but very slow creatures that was what you adapted to. Where as Junior, Destiny, Alec, and herself had had to fight all manner of beast and creature over the course of their lives. It led to battle experience that couldn't be obtained elsewhere. Plus, with the time they spent in a place that greatly stunted powers, they had had to learn to adapt to that too. It made for well rounded, well seasoned fighters – even if they hadn't been doing much fighting lately.

His father activated his trademark ability. The ability he longed to possess himself. John Jr vowed to be the second to master the famed Demon Trigger. When he kicked Alec to send him flying back, John Jr just laughed some, his face fully repaired at this point, but still he was winded from being slammed into the ground in such a fashion, and having his insides scrambled by explosive punches.

"Your primitive Earthling minds will never grasp the concept of---"

Then, shock. John Kane and John Jr both were shocked, as was Alexis, Alexander, and everyone watching. Harriet continued to look content.

Alec too activated Demon Trigger. How in the world was this possible?... Alec's son said something about a "Bleeding Effect." What exactly was that, and how had it allowed him to learn the ability currently only he could do? It seemed that they'd greatly underestimated their Earthly counterparts. John Kane was left speechless.

John Jr, angered and obviously jealous, scoffed, even as he was being trapped inside of some kind of box. He'd long saw himself as the next to activate Demon Trigger, but his father always said the same thing, that he wasn't ready. Now, here was this lowly half trained Fallen Angel, and he had surpassed him. John Jr gritted his teeth."...It doesn't matter!" he yelled. "He is still no match for father!"

"You think so, huh?"

His fists tight on either side of him, the Demon Triggered Alec stared toward John Kane with the same insane expression he'd been giving him since first laying eyes on the man. John Jr said he was still no match for him, probably because all of his speed was gone. With John's vast combat experience, as well as Alec's, the two of them would probably be even matched right now.

But Alec had another card from the other world that none of them would be expecting. A special ability that increased his speed there, as well as increased his defense, called Lightning Release Armor. It had allowed him to murder a Raikage, as well as behead the man who once tried to claim Makkura as his own.

Electricity flashed and danced around his body several moments before he was totally enveloped in an aura of blue, adding to the effects of Demon Trigger. Alec decided that he wasn't going to drag this out, moving so quickly toward his biological father that a huge hole was torn into the ground where he was just standing, clouding the air with dirt, grass, and causing several trees to fall over.

Rapid Fire, a punching technique he developed in the ninja world, was executed with the force that would surely bend and even shatter that armor he was wearing. Punches would be launched towards his face, chest and arms. Ribs would be snapped, the same as both of his limbs. Like the sword swings, the attacks would come so quickly that winds would whip up from the force of his blows, and the ground would quake upon each connection; the surface beneath their feet cracking and shifting behind the incredible amount of strength at work.

A final haymaker to his jaw would probably send him flying the same as Alec had.

John Jr ended up trapped in the holy shield box she had created, meaning at least for the moment he couldn't try and attack them again. This was good, as the fight between her father and his father was getting underway and becoming more violent. Destiny glanced over to Alec's other siblings, and then turned her attention onto the fight. It was definitely getting good.

Her father used a technique from the other world that increased his speed, giving him more of an edge while allowing him to retain his strength from his new ability he had gained through the bleeding effect from Devon's machine. Then her father popped off with another attack, one that looked incredibly devastating. Destiny was beginning to wonder if John was going to live through these attacks or not: was her father actually aiming to kill him or just bloody him up a good bit?

Time would certainly tell...

Destiny glanced back towards the trapped John Jr, keeping an eye on him in case he tried doing anything slick – like attacking them or getting free.

There was nothing left to be said. John Jr was trapped in a box made of Dez's Holy Shield. Just like Jr figured he would, his father put his Lightning Release Armor into play, which would boost his speed back up to blinding levels. John Kane was going to be pretty much defenseless because of this, and Jr began to figure Alec had this one in the bag.

Jr took off his Boom Boom gloves again as his father blasted past them, moving to avoid the flying dirt and grass. He noticed the shock looks on everyone's faces; everyone who figured the lowly "Earthbreds" as John Jr put it were about to get beaten.

Jr put the Boom Boom gloves back into the inside pocket of his Armani jacket, then straightened his tie and slid both hands into his pants pockets.

John Jr was caught in Destiny's holy shield box and looked unable to get free. Junior then temoved his special gloves from the other world, anothet signal that their fight with Alecs brother was over. This allowed her attention to shift freely over towards the fight between her father and his. Both used an ability that raised their strength but lowered their speed, however Alec then used an ability Demi knee to be from the other world called Lightning Release Armor which would raise his speed back up likely without affecting this new found strength of his. Alec then launched another attack at his father.

Would John be able to get out of this attack? Did he have some way like Alec to suddenly raise his speed too? Or was he about to take a nasty attack with no way to stop it or get out of the way of it? Demi was definitely interested to see how this was going to end.

John Jr could find no more words. He just stared on in shock, with everyone else, as Alec displayed that he too could utilize Demon Trigger. John Kane's shock only elevated upon activation of a second ability - one that apparently brought Alec's speed back to normal. It would be a deadly combination.

Alec would prove that he wasn't as weak as everyone thought he was. Perhaps Demi was correct in her assessment; she'd said they'd fought against multiple kinds of opponents, and learned to adapt when the situation called for it, whereas they'd only fought against Demons.

Unfortunately this realization came too late, as John Kane was unable to defend himself. He could see Alec coming just fine, but his body could not react fast enough to avoid the forthcoming punishment. A plethora of punches came, tearing off his prized armor, fracturing bones, and rupturing his internal organs. It was the first time since his youth that he suffered such a beating.

Through it all though, even the haymaker that nearly tore his jaw from his face and send him flying backwards in a barrel roll like a bullet shot from a gun, John Kane couldn't help but feel a sense of pride; he could help but be proud of Alec and the fact that he hadn't died or turned into a villain like the prophecy foretold. If he was to die, then so be it. He could rest well knowing that his life had been taken by one of his offspring. Because of what Alec had suffered through the years, perhaps he deserved it...

John bounced and rolled several dozen times, further doing damage to his broken and battered body. His healing abilities were at work, but it would be some time before he was fully back on his feet. He came to rest somewhere near the walls of the city, which was quite a distance from where the fight took place.

No one knew what to say. everyone was silent, watching with their mouths half open, unbelieving that Alec defeated John Kane, the best Warrior Angel there was. Everyone, except Harriet. Through the whole ordeal, she looked content and grinned smugly. John was unmoving, but alive. For how long though, that was the question...

All attacks met their mark. Alec watched him on his trip through the wilderness of Heaven, bouncing, rolling, which probably fucked him up even worse. He hoped it hurt. He wanted the man to suffer, to feel every ding and bump. It wouldn't even begin to amount to the suffering he'd done his whole life over a decision that he had no control over.

Alec wasn't done. Gritting his teeth as John came to a stop, still alive, he crouched, preparing to launch himself towards his biological father. A pair of transparent wings could be seen in the reflections of the electricity and Demon Trigger effects flickering and dancing around his form. Propelling himself forward again, which would again cause the ground to explode and dirt to fly, Alec reached behind him, causing the Angel Sword - previously spilled from his grasp - to fly of it's own accord to his outstretched hand.

With the sword in his right hand in a stabbing position, Alec approached John Kane aiming to finish him off, thrusting his weapon towards John's face.

Her father was both fast and strong, and John took a severe beating because of it. His armor stood no chance against Alec's attacks that were both fast and strong, and soon enough the armor was a non-issue completely. The blows hit, and in the end John was sent tumbling and flying – likely receiving more damage from the trip – before he came to rest near the city wall. Destiny found herself wondering if he would actually heal from such wounds, or if there would forever be scars: that was, if Alec didn't end up finishing his father off.

Sure enough, Alec's wings came into view, his sword returned to his hand, and Alec went flying towards his father with the sword positioned in such as way that were he not stopped he would impale his father with it. Surely John couldn't match speeds with Alec and get out of the way: what was there left to do but watch death approach as it was?

Destiny was left to wonder if someone would step in, if one of Alec's other siblings would attempt to get in the way and put a stop to it before Alec actually did end up killing John. Or, would they just continue to sit there and watch as their father's life came to a end? Destiny personally had no reason to get in between her father and John, she knew the sting and pain of betrayal from family, and she knew that he deserved to have this right after all that he had been through thanks to his so-called father. Alec hadn't stepped in the way when it came to Destiny being able to deal with Raquel: he had allowed her the right to take her life, so Destiny wasn't going to step in the way when it came to Alec handling his own father.

”....”

Jr couldn't help but to grin. 1, because it had been like, forever since he got to see his father in a full on life threatening battle, and 2, because he was winning. The odds had been place against them all. Phrases like "You stand no chance" and "You're no match for me" had been thrown around, only for things to end up like this. John Jr was eating dirt, and his father was currently bouncing, tumbling and rolling across the ground.

Jr didn't want his father to get jumped at the last minute. After he took off, Jr started walking towards him and John. There were many faces of shock and surprise around, making Jr just continue to grin.

Demi threw a glance towards Destiny; she had a suspicious feeling that this situation might be bringing back unwanted memories for her – even if she didn't look bothered on the outside with the emotionless mask still on her face. She then turned her attention back to her father since it would seem that John Jr was now a non-issue, still trapped within that holy shield box that Destiny had put around him.

Due to Alec's strength, and his increased speed, he was able to sent John flying. The tumbling and such that he did before coming to a rest near the city wall likely only added more pain to his extensive injuries from the hits that Alec had landed on him prior to that. Then her father's wings appeared and he sent himself flying towards John with his sword flying into his hand. Would this be the end for John? It certainly looked like Alec was going to kill him.

Demi braced herself, her attention focusing on those watching. She was prepared to spring into action where anyone to try and intervene. She had no intentions of standing around while her father got jumped after all.

So this was the end of the road, then... eons of battling Demons, and creating an ability to stand against them, to end up being killed by his own offspring. What exactly had Alec gone through in that other world?... It was an interesting question.

He'd seen all of the battles he'd gone through, but never imagined that his son would grow this smart and intelligent. To stand against someone superior to him, and win... John was proud of him.

He was unable to defend himself, but even if he could, he wouldn't. Perhaps John deserved this death that Alec was approaching to give him. John Jr just lie there where he was, trapped in a box, seething with rage and jealousy.

John figured that somewhere down the line, he would be able to converse with his son. Maybe they would be able to put all of this behind them and come together as the family they all should have been. But for right now, it looked as if his curtain was closing...

"NOOO!!"

She'd seen it all. Harriet said this day was coming, but sometimes Harriet was known to pull pranks and tell jokes. This time it was the truth.

Martha Kane rarely saw her family anymore. Distraught over John's decision to have Alec thrown out, she spent the majority of time in the Kingdom of God. She couldn't quite find it in her heart to forgive him just yet, but at the same time she couldn't exactly leave the father of her children.

The same as everyone else, she'd watched her son through the years on all of his trials, hardships and tragedies. It was she that first suggested that Alexis go to Earth and keep tabs on him, even with the fact that John would eventually track her down and have her recalled. Martha also worried deeply about the fate of Nevan, but with his ability to become invisible, his face was uncertain.

...So, as Harriet had predicted, Alec somehow found out why he was thrown out, and returned with a vengeance. Martha thought he would be swept aside easily at first, but Alec as well as his kids shocked everyone. John saw his first defeat at the hands of his son, and now Alec was moving in for the finishing blow.

But Martha placed herself in the line of fire, her arms outstretched, moving in front of John so that she would take the blow for him. Did Alec have control over himself so that he would stop? Or was he mad at her as well? Would he run her though?

"The cost of living is dying.... Everybody pa---"

His trademark quote that was recited during or after the deaths of many was interrupted by the appearance of another. A female. Alec stopped on a dime with his sword in his right hand, reared to his left in a stabbing position, the tip of the sword inches in front of the woman's face. To everyone looking at Alec at the moment, his form would be overlapped by a female wearing white, standing in the same position he was, with the same frown on her face. His parents, as well as several others, would recognize her to be Audrey.

His rage cleared, allowing to lay eyes upon his mother, Martha Kane. She looked the very same as she had when he was a child, all those thousands of years ago. Alec couldn't bring himself to be mad at her, only disappointed. Disappointed that she would just allow something like this to happen.

Lightning Release Armor deactivated, and after that, his Demon Trigger, causing his white hair to turn black again, and his red coat to turn black as well. Alec put his arm down, staring towards his biological mother with a frown. After turning his sword right side up again, he placed it onto his back again before turning around and beginning to walk back towards the hole where his miserable life began.

So, this was it... John was going to die by Alec's sword and didn't even look like he was going to try and defend himself: it was as if he were just going to accept what was coming. Did he think he deserved such a fate? Did he realize how badly he had fucked up? Destiny watched and waited to see her father's sword impale John, only it wasn't to be.

A woman suddenly appeared, jumping in front of John as if she planned on taking the fatal blow for him: protecting him from Alec's attack. A frown spread across Destiny's face as she watched her father come to a sudden and complete stop. He seemed to have no intentions of attacking this woman, whom Destiny assumed was his mother. Instead her father turned his back and began to walk away; right back to the hole all of them had flown into Heaven through – the same hole her father had been thrown out of all of those years ago.

Destiny hesitated for a moment, keeping her attention focused on John, and his children. Would they attempt to attack now that her father's back was turned? Or would they simply allow the four of them to leave without further incident. She had no reason to trust them, no reason at all, and therefore she was cautious and watchful as she began to follow her father after releasing John Jr from the 'prison' she had trapped him in...

Destiny certainly had no intentions of coming back to Heaven anytime soon; this trip hadn't been a good one, nor welcoming, and she hardly considered the Kane's she had never known up until this point family. Blood didn't make you family after all; sometimes blood could make you quite the opposite...

Someone else was coming. It looked like they were about to intercept his father as he was moving in to finish off John Kane. They were moving way too fast; Jr wouldn't be able to get there in time, but he didn't let that fact stop him from taking off himself. White wings push him as fast as possible to get to his father.

He arrived to see his father had stopped before a woman who was showing a lot of skin, and Jr recognized her to be his grandmother, and Alec's biological mother, Martha Kane. Even after all these thousands upon thousands of years that had passed, she still looked young and hot. Jr didn't oogle over her for too long; he was related to her by blood after all.

She'd jumped in the way to prevent his father from ending John's life. His father deactivated his new Demon Trigger and Lightning Release Armor, looking at his mother with more of a look of disappointment rather than anger. Maybe he didn't blame her.

Jr turned with his father as he started to walk off, still with his grin.

Well, things had certainly taken a turn for the interesting that was for sure. It seemed that at the last moment, just as her father was about to finish off his own, Alec's mother showed up to stop it. Instead of attacking her Alec simply looked at her with a look of disappointment before turning and walking away. Junior and Destiny followed him and for a moment Demi waited, half expecting someone to attack them with their backs turned.

But, quickly enough Demi turned as well and walked away, throwing a backward glance just to ensure that no one was going to try anything funny. Demi wasn't, after all, above attacking anyone who threatened the people she cared about. As Demi followed them she kept herself quiet, having nothing to really say this time around: there was no appropriate wise crack or joke to be made here, and this certainly wasn't a situation she was going to try and make a joke out of. No, this was serious, and painful in a way, and there was nothing funny at all about that.

Certain that his life was about to end, John closed his eyes. But the end didn't come. Instead, he heard the voice of his wife, crying out for Alec to stop. John opened his eyes to see the mother of his children before Alec, her arms open before her son to take his fatal blow. Yet Alec stopped, and ceased Demon Trigger, as well as the strange unknown ability that brought his speed back up to normal.

He'd underestimated his son, but he smiled. John heard some of the conversations going on between his other children and grandchildren. His earthly grand children made valid points; they and Alec had fought against a wide array of opponents which taught them to adapt, while they were used to fighting only demons.

John could see Audrey standing with Alec, looking as angry as he was. Alec didn't attack his mother, he only looked at her as if he were disappointed. After sheathing his sword, Alec turned and began to walk away. Would this be the last that he saw of him? What would happen now? The reputation of the great John Kane had to be in shambles now, but he didn't care...

Alec didn't attack her. For some reason she could see his old friend Audrey standing with him. Alec stopped using his special techniques which caused his hair to turn black again - leaving Martha to wonder how Alec was able to learn and use John's special move, or why his hair wasn't white like the rest of her children - and looked at her with a looked that could only be described as disappointment. What could she say to him that he would hear? She'd let him down. She searched for something to say to him, but there were no words.

Martha looked sad when Alec turned and began to walk away. She started to run, getting in front of him again to attempt to embrace him in a hug, something she hadn't done in a very long time. In the process she began to - put simply - give Alec a part of herself. She would began to impart her many years of knowledge as well as some of her own consciousness upon the son that she never had the chance to really get to know. He would also be able to experience the way she felt, now, and throughout the thousands of years he'd been gone.

"I was wrong to let this happen to you," she would say, if Alec allowed her to hug him, tears already flooding her cheeks. "If killing me will give you peace, or make things any better, then kill me... I stood by and let this happen to you... An 'i'm sorry' won't mean much at this point, I know, and I cannot find the words to make you understand... so this is all I can do..."

She wasn't hurting him at all, and tear filled eyes look to Alec Jr and Destiny, wondering if they would attack her for embracing him as she was.

Back home, then. Back to being fallen. He didn't want to be here anymore, even if it was allowed. Alec would rather be fallen than try and live here.

The next thing he knew, he was being grabbed and hugged while his thoughts were all over the place. He was about to push her off of him, but then for some reason he could feel what she felt. He could feel himself becoming smarter for some reason.

His mother was truly sorry for what had happened, and for some reason he could feel it. Thousands of years of sorrow. Thousands of years of worry. She'd been watching everything he'd done. Alec couldn't blame her anymore, because if there was something she could have done, she would have done it. She sent his sister Alexis to check up on him several times, seeing as she was pretty much obsessed with him, but every time she was recalled by John.

She said Alec could kill her if it would make him feel any better but Alec had no plans to attack his mother. With her arms around him, Alec kept his arms to his sides and allowed his mother to embrace him for the first time that he could remember. A look was on his face that made it seem like he was high, or drunk.

Destiny wasn't happy about the closeness to her father going on: she had no reason to trust any of the Kane's who resided in heaven, and likely never would given the way things had been. In truth Des had never really asked her father much about his life up here - in fact, outside of a basic question when she had been a child she had never inquired further because family business sometimes hurt to talk about. She knew that first hand.

However, despite how Des felt she didn't react to Martha hugging Alec, she just simply remained on her guard and ready to react were it needed. It didn't look like her grandmother was attempting to harm her father, only hug him, and she had even said he could kill her if he wanted which he didn't do. She looked to her father's face, noticing his look and the way he didn't respond. She had no idea what he was feeling, or what could be going on inside of his head, but she was beginning to feel like this was going to have a long lasting effect on him.

Des glanced toward the exit: she didn't want to be here any longer, but she wasn't going to leave knowing her father remained behind. So, she simply paused and waited for him to join them, hoping that Martha let go soon so he could do just that. Meanwhile, she kept the others insight as well, waiting to see if anyone would try and react at the very last minute, and wanting to be prepared for it all the same.

Jr didn't have any look on his face when his grandmother looked at him with her eyes filled with tears. He didn't have anything to say to her. It didn't look like she was hurting his father, so he merely stood there with his hands in his pants pockets. But Jr didn't want to be part of this emo moment. He didn't want to get to know her, or any of the rest of these Kanes for what they let happen to his father. He'd seen it all, played out like some dramatic TV show. To Jr, they were enemies. All of them.

Jr also looked around, to make sure no one was trying anything funny or shady. He glanced back toward that hole that John had thrown him down all those years ago, wanting to leave. He wanted to get back to Edge and put this behind him. Jr had no plans of coming back up here. Jr aslo glanced upwards towards that huge cloud, wondering why the big man himself didn't come down and get involved. Maybe he'd seen all of this play out already and decided to let the family solve their drama themselves...

Either way, Jr was ready to go home...
