A family reunion long in the making [NR]

Alec was ripped away from Jr and thrown out of control. From what he was able to see, they went up through what resembled a tunnel of clouds, upwards into a multi colored sky. After flipping and barrel rolling several times out of control, Alec landed hard on solid ground.

He lie there on his back a while, to let everything stop moving, swearing that he could hear music playing. Everyone had their own interpretation of Heaven; it would look different in everyone's eyes. Opening his eyes, Alec looked up at this multi colored sky to see thick clouds that looked like cotton candy. Angels, male and female were flying around at all heights. The landscape around looked like a dream. The environment was perfect; it was just the right temperature, and it smelled like flowers and perfume everywhere.

Alec stood up slowly, looking behind him to see a city. It seemed endless and even bigger than Edge. A grand castle was situated in the center of it all, with pillars that went upwards forever. Above the city was a mass of beautiful clouds; likely the dwelling place of God himself. There were Angels everywhere, many of which were looking in Alec's and his children's directions.

While many of them were dressed in armors, and robes that exposed much of their anatomy, Alec and his kids obviously stood out, dressed in Earthly garbs. Alec with his black coat with red lining, his wife beater, jeans, boots and fingerless gloves.

Alec looked to see that he was standing in the very spot that his father threw him to Earth all those years ago, seeing that it hadn't changed at all. A cliff that went downwards, the depths of space and stars being seen below. Alec frowned and let out a loud yell of frustration, being reminded of what he'd seen in the Animus. He turned and started walking towards the city...

Destiny and Demi broke through the barrier to Heaven right after Alec and Junior. Dezzy didn't know about Demi, but she sure was impressed as they headed upwards. It was hard to keep control: obviously they weren’t meant to be here. It was like an unseen force trying to pry herself and Demi apart and send them both out of control. She lost her grip for a moment and then tackled her sister to the ground so that the pair would land nearby Alec.

”My bad.. didn't wanna lose you back down the hole.”, she would state as she got to her feet, looking to see what became of Junior with a look of worry on her face. She glanced upwards, noticing the other angels, and noticing also that their presence was rather known. They stood out a good bit from the angels who lived in heaven: Dez's own earthly clothing being a black cami with a gray and black striped top over this, a pair of jeans, and a pair of combat boots.

She listened to her father's sound of frustration and couldn't help but frown a bit more: he was definitely pissed off. She kept on her guard though, half expecting someone to swoop down and attack them.

Like his father, Jr went flying out of control. Maybe they weren't meant to be here, and some force was trying to push them back out. Jr knew they were moving far too fast for that.

While his father more or less crashed, Jr was able to right himself in the air and land on one foot and one knee in a crouch. He stood up straight and dusted the dirt off of his pants, then straightened out his red tie and Armani suit jacket. Jr would also lean down to wipe the dirt from his D&G leather shoes.

He found himself standing in the place where his father became a Fallen Angel, all those thousands of years ago. Besides that, Heaven was what he thought it would be, warm, pretty, comfortable; just like a dream. There were many Angels flying around. That big place up in the sky had to be where God was. Jr never thought he'd be here himself.

Dez and Demi landed nearby as his father yelled and started toward that giant city in the distance. "Long story short," Jr said as they both stood up. "Dad was set up back in the day. He was prophecised as the "Chosen one;" an Angel that could stop the war against Hell. A divination by our biological aunt Harriet Kane said he'd either sacrifice himself to end the wars, or that he'd turn into a bad guy. So to change history, our biological grandfather John Kane got our grandmother Martha Kane and the rest of our aunts and uncles to start treating dad like crap. John Kane set dad up to get kicked out of Heaven. While his intentions were noble, I don't like the way he went about things. He threw dad down that hole back there. This, pretty much, was where The Psychotic Gunman was born..."

Many other Angels around them seemed to be listening to Jr too. Many of them began to gossip among one another with surprised and angry expressions, so maybe this was new news to them as well.

Jr started after his furious father. "I don't blame dad for being pissed off, but we gotta make sure he doesn't get himself killed. Come on!"

Jr couldn't remember the last time they were all together like this, him, his father and his sisters, but he didn't expect things to end up like this...

They broke through the barrier and Demi found herself and Destiny beginning to move out of control: likely and obvious way to keep outsiders from entering into Heaven unwanted. However, Destiny moved quickly and tackled Demi to the ground to keep either of them from getting hurt. Nearby her father was raging out while Junior had landed unharmed in a crouch and was straightening his jacket. Heaven was beautiful, or so she thought from the glimpse she got before she got to her feet and started off after Alec.

She listened to her brother explain what had happened, and what Alec had seen through Devon's machine, and it caused her to frown deeply. She didn't blame him in the slightest for being as pissed off as he was, but this was definitely the wrong way to go about it. She didn't want to see her father die ever, but especially not at the hands of those in Heaven.

”Dad! Will you hold up a minute?! What do you think will come of all of this?” She knew it was nearly pointless to try to get ahold of him when he was in a mood like this, but she felt she had to at least try. She wasn't going to abandon him here, even if he wouldn't listen to reason. Even if it meant the danger would affect all of them equally.

She threw a glance towards the angels who were whispering and gossiping among themselves; all of this information was news to them too, and she wondered what would happen to her grandfather and the rest of the family still here in Heaven when the higher ups found out. Or would God and all of his holier then art thou even care?

Demi adjusted her long white trench coat that she wore over black dress slacks and a v-necked t-shirt, and adjusted her black fingerless gloves: no matter what happened she was ready for it, and willing to stand up to it if it came to a fight - her father wouldn't fight alone, even if he yelled and demanded they leave.

Today was just like any other day. Train the new recruits. Scout for breeches. Patrol for Demons.

Family life was never the same again. It all ended thousands of years ago, but it felt like only yesterday. His children all seemed to hate him, and he rarely saw Martha anymore. When he did, it was all business. There wasn't a day that passed that he didn't think about it. The son he never knew. The son who'd gone through so much down on that planet. He wished that things could go back to being---

"Sir!" one of the subordinates burst into his office. "We have intruders! They're Angels, from Earth! Some are saying that one of them looks like your son, Alec!"

John didn't look surprised. This day was coming, just like Harriet said it would. "Alec will return, full of rage," she'd said. "He will return, looking for you. And you will have to fight the hardest fight of your life. You may even die. I cannot say for certain."

"Tell the men not to get in his way," John said while standing from his desk, grabbing his trusty spear. The weapon flickered to life at his touch. Never did he think that he would have to use the weapon that had been at his side for countless centuries against his own flesh and blood. "I will handle this..."

Word had gotten to Alexis, Alexander, Harriet and John Jr about the intruders. Gossip spread quickly in Heaven. Many had said that the black haired one looked like Alec Kane, and the others following him looked like his offspring. Many were talking about how he was chosen. How he was supposed to stop the endless war against the Demons.

With Alec storming towards the city, the 4 siblings came to land nearby, all with smiles and grins. He would recognize them as his brothers and sisters easily enough, since they looked so much alike. Alexis, who'd become obsessed with him over the thousands of years and had even taken to looking and acting just like Alec, and Alexander as well; both looked the happiest to see him. Harriet looked calm, but had sort of a grin, having said this day was coming. John jr, the oldest, had on armor and clutched a sword and shield, looking serious.

"It's so good to see you again, little brother!" exclaimed Alexis, the most excited, staring towards Alec like a girl would her crush. "Its been so long! How are you?"

"You're so dumb," answered Harriet. "Did I not say this day would come? He's found out the truth and he's here to kill dad, how do you think he is?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't let that happen," said John Jr. "Brother or not, he should feel privileged to even be here. He needs to calm down and let things be explained."

"You sound dumb too," said Alexander. "Can't let that happen, sure. You really gonna get in his way with that look on his face?"

John Jr took a defensive stance. "Little brother, you leave me no choice," he said, before rushing towards Alec shield first.

Angels were all around. Mostly all of them knew who he was. Alec wasn't surprised. Alec didn't care. With his hands balled into fists as he walked, his arms began to tremble. A hellishly evil expression was on his face. Demi said something, but in his ears, it sounded like background noise.

Other Angels were landing, walking with him. These Angels were his brothers and sisters. The one smiling, she was Alexis. Ness told him about her one day in Onett. Maybe she'd snuck out of here to go spy on him. Her twin, Alexander. Harriet, his genius psychic sibling who'd told his future and put all of this in motion. John Jr, who said he wasn't going to let Alec kill their father.

"Try to stop me and you're dead."

This said as John Jr began rushing towards him; through Zone Eye that seemed to activate all on it's own, it looked as if he intended to slam into him with that shield. Alec waited for him to get closer to make his move. He didn't care that this was his brother, he was in the way. If he didn't stop now, John Jr would be the first victim. He was going to die.

People were arriving, several of which looked pretty close to her father. Destiny assumed that they were family members, his siblings more then likely. She didn't like how close they were getting: she didn't trust them because she didn't know them. The majority of them seemed happy to see Alec, but Destiny wasn't going to let her guard down: she had no intentions of risking someone trying to sneak attack her father.

However, it seemed a sneak attack wasn't the intent. In fact, one of the siblings jumped forward and looked to be attempting to rush Alec. Had her father been anyone else she would have stepped in, but she knew her dad well enough by now – getting in his way would only piss him off further. Still, Destiny kept off to the side, watching the other three and waiting to see someone else move towards Alec: she wasn't about to allow her father get jumped if that was their intentions.

”I don't like this...”, Destiny said through gritted teeth: there were far too many angels around – and she had no reason to trust any of them anymore then she would trust a demon.

It seemed like everybody knew who his father was, but didn't know the true story of why he was kicked out. Now that they did, it looked as if John Kane's reputation was beginning to fall down.

The aunts and uncles appeared. Alexis and Alexander looked excited to see their father. Harriet looked neither excited nor angry, and John Jr didn't seem to care. "Alexis, Alexander, Harriet, John Jr," Jr said, pointing at each of them. "Those are dad's brothers and sisters, our aunts and uncles."

Harriet said she knew this day was coming; that he would show up here with the intention of killing John Kane. John Jr said he wasn't going to let that happen, that they should feel privileged to be here, and that his father should calm down so that things could be explained. Alexander said John would be dumb if he tried to get in his way, and John said that his father had left him no choice, little brother or not.

John Jr rushed towards his father. Jr himself nearly jumped in, but he knew how his father was about his fights; he hated help, and people getting in his way. For the moment, Jr stayed where he was. Were anyone else to jump in, then he'd become involved.

Demi wasn't happy with the attention they were clearly getting: everyone seemed to know who Alec was. They also seemed to not know the truth behind everything – and the gossiping and whispering was already getting on Demi's frayed nerves. When Junior pointed out who the four individuals where who looked like Alec she nodded: as long as they kept their distance she would keep hers. Sharing the same blood didn't automatically mean someone could be trusted after all – she didn't know them, so she didn't trust them.

"I see..."

She kept an eye on them, noticing one who seemed eager to try and stop Alec and what he was likely here to do. She didn't step in the way, in fact she kept her distance: she had no doubt her father could handle himself. If anything she would only piss him off by getting in his way: he knew how to fight, he had been doing it for as long as she knew, so he didn't need their protection.

Still, she would step in if someone else decided they wanted to come and play, too. Her hands flexed open and closed, looking between what might be an impending fight, and the other three of her father's siblings.

"STOP."

Before the shield, which had the Kane family symbol upon it, would smash into Alec, John Jr came to a complete stand still, bringing with him a tremendous gust of wind. Alec seemed to ignore his siblings despite not seeing them for thousands of years, which brought a disappointed look to Alexis' face. She pouted like a child. Alexander and Harriet seemed to understand for the most part.

John Jr looked disappointed. It seemed like he was looking forward to going a round or 2 with the little brother who'd lived on Earth the majority of his life. "Too bad," he said, stepping back some, frowning towards Alec. "It would have been better off if you went against me. No one beats father. No one has, no one will. You'd realize this if you hadn't wasted so much time fighting those weaklings on that pathetic planet belo--"

"Enough," interrupted John Kane. He flew in from above on those 6 large wings, spear in hand, to land nearby John Jr, fully armored up. John Kane stood about as tall as Darkman. Out of all the kids, Alec looked the most like him. John looked at Destiny, Demi and Alec Jr a moment, feeling sorry that he'd never got the chance to meet them, at the same time wondering where Nevan was, before finally laying eyes upon his lost son. He was angry. John understood this; Alec had every right to be.

People standing around began to question John. They asked him why he lied. Why did he set his own son up to suffer as he had. "...For his own good," John answered after being asked so many time. "Because I didn't want anything bad to happen to him. He was prophecised to have died in the war against the Demons." John looked at Alec again. "But, you have every right to be angry at me."

Alec didn't move at all when John Jr rushed up upon him. When he stopped, the wind made his coat flap behind him. Someone above said to stop. John Jr said it would have been better to fight him, because their father never lost. He started running his mouth with other crap, before being shut up by John.

He landed next. It was the first time that Alec could remember laying eyes on him, seeing where he'd gotten his looks from. John Kane looked a little depressed, but Alec looked pissed. He didn't care. When Angels around them watching began to question John, he said it was for his own good; he said it was because he didn't want Alec to die.

"...You didn't want anything bad to happen?... So, running from freaks, and spending 10 years fighting against weirdos, IS THAT FATE ANY BETTER!??"

The ringtone on his phone started playing when Alec reach back to grab his Desert Eagles, point them toward his biological father and open fire in such a rapid fashion that the pistols resembled and sounded like machine guns. A flurry of hot led projectiles were released in rapid succession towards John Kane.

The shit talking started and Destiny's hands clenched into fists: she wouldn't attack if she didn't have to, but she sure as hell wanted to punch John Jr. in the mouth. It wasn't like Alec had had a choice to fight against the 'weaklings' on earth after all, nor his fault that he didn't know what his father was or wasn't capable of.

”....”

Destiny was waiting for an unholy hell of a fight to break out – or a very quick and short one – when all of a sudden another voice filled the air shouting enough. Who was clearly Alec's father arrived on the scene, bringing with him a tremendous gust of wind. With Alec ignoring his siblings they had several reactions: one pouted, two seemed to understand, and the one who had been about to attack Alec looked disappointed. Personally, Dez couldn't imagine attacking any of her siblings, let alone looking disappointed when she was stopped from doing so.

Suddenly, Alec was firing rapidly at his father – the sound similar to that of a machine gun. She kept her attention trained halfway on what her father was doing and halfway on the rest of Alec's siblings: she wasn't about to sit back and watch her father get jumped after all. No way, she was all ready to jump in and hand someone their own ass if it came to it.

Alexis and Alexander for the most part looked excited to see their brother again after so long. Harriet didn't look like she was on anyone's side, and John Jr was in protective mode. he rushed toward his father in attack mode. Jr thought he was about to get mangled by his dad until someone above said stop. The gust of wind ruffled his Armani jacket. At first, Jr thought it was God. But John Jr said something about it being too bad that they didn't get to fight, and it'd be better off since their father was unbeaten.

Then like all cocky assholes, John Jr was talking shit. Jr himself was trying not to let his rage get the best of him. "Like he really had a choice in anything," he let slip in response to John Jr. "And everybody can be beaten, even a dick ass like you."

Jr should have been playing the respectful example setting Boss role, but, right now it was team Original Kanes vs Team Earth Kanes, and Jr was on the Earth side, the Son of Alec. He wasn't just going to stand here and let someone talk down on his father.

Then, there he was. John Kane. He gave a look towards he and his sisters before setting his gaze on Alec. Angels around the area questioned him, and he answered that he did what he did for Alec's own good; because he didn't want Alec to die. His father responded by pulling his guns out and opening fire.

Jr half expected his father to get jumped at any moment. Dez and Demi wouldn't just stand there were that to happen, and neither was he, even if this was his biological family.

”Are you kidding me? Stop acting like this crap is my dad's fault. It isn't like he had a choice!”, Demi practically shouted. She, like Junior, couldn't help but speak up. A glance over towards Destiny showed that she was starting to slip back into her old ways too: silent and lethal. It had been a while since she had last saw Destiny mad and she didn't doubt that there'd be hell to pay if any one of Alec's siblings or any of the other angels floating around decided to step into this.

Demi listened as some of the angels asked John why he had done what he did, to which he responded about it being in Alec's best interest. Demi was all on board with what her father said: how the hell was that in his best interest considering all of the shit he had gone through after being cast out of Heaven? It didn't seem right, or fair.

When Alec started shooting her attention, too, shifted to everyone else. Would they jump in? Or would they stay out of it? She wasn't about to let them jump Alec, and she was sure that Junior and Destiny felt the same exact way. Demi closed her hands into fists, knuckles cracking from the tension. Would it come to blows between all of them? Or would this strictly be between Alec and his father? Where was God in all of this? Would he come down and smite all of them? Time would certainly tell...

John Jr simply frowned when silenced by his father. He and the little brother began their back and fourth, while 2 of his offspring didn't seem to like what he'd said. John Jr turned to look in their direction. The male said that Alec had no choice, as did one of the females, with the male ending with the statement that everyone could be beaten, even himself. If he wasn't able to see what his little brother was about, then perhaps his offspring would suffice.

Such a statement made John Jr smile some, before his expression melted into a serious one. "Oh? Is that so, son of Alec?" he responded, turning to face him and his two sisters. "Then, with everything that's happening, I find it only appropriate that we put this to the test then, 'nephew!' What say you? Both of your sisters are free to help you too! Unlike you lot, I train constantly! Daily! I don't live the lazy lavish lifestyle that you weaklings do down on that planet, I will be more than enough for the 3 of you alone!"

Alexander, Alexis and Harriet didn't plan on getting involved. All 3 of them sat down. "I hope they beat you up, Johnny," said Alexis with a frown. "Your ego needs knocked down a few pegs. I waited thousands of years for this day! This isn't the kind of family reunion I wanted!"

"This ought to be good," added Alexander. Harriet said nothing, but grinned, seemingly knowing what was going to happen before it did.

At this point is when Alec grabbed his guns and started firing. Alexis and Harriet both began to nod their heads to the music coming from the device at his hip. John Jr rushed toward Alec's offspring to spin with a swing of his sword, aimed to hit all 3 of them.

John could only imagine how his son was feeling. It was his fault that he'd suffered so much on Earth. Alec was mad, and began to attack John. But if he really wanted to make any sort of dent, he would have to try harder. Even with as fast as he was firing those weapons, John was able to deflect every shot with just the armor on his hands, without moving from his position. John deflected the projectiles so that they flew off into the distance without hitting anyone.

"I understand that you're mad,"John said calmly. "But those primitive Earthly weapons will do you no good here. I thought you learned to rely on yourself now? That is what you said, right? After your disappearance into some unknown world?"

Yes, even he'd been watching, 'keeping tabs' so to speak on his son. Although he couldn't see what he'd gone through in that other world, he at least knew that he'd gone there. John at least wanted to see if he'd learned any new tricks there before putting an end to this. He could see that Alec and his children were strong, but unlikely to stand a chance against fully trained Warrior Angels.

The eagles were doing nothing. John Kane blocked every shot. He should have known better than to fire a gun in Heaven, but his anger was getting the best of him. John Jr seemed to be getting into it with Jr, Dez and Demi, while Alexis, Alexander and Harriet chose not to get involved. If John Jr thought the 3 of them together would be push overs, he had another thing coming, no matter how much he trained up here.

It came as no surprise that John knew of them going over into ninja land, but just how much did he know? Did he see what Alec and his family went through over there? Did he know of the learned and stolen ninja techniques? Were they capable of watching people even in other worlds up here?

Alec holstered his guns again, then blasted himself toward his father at Angelic Speed while pulling off the Angel Sword with his right hand. Alec made a hard swing with one arm, coming from the ground upwards, towards John Kane's neck. Alec was expecting him to dodge, or at the least, block. If he wanted a fight, Alec was going to give him one.

Something snapped within Destiny: as if all of her bottled up emotions from the past had been held back by a thin strand, or a delicate lock. At John Jr's words her face would become impassive and emotionless while her halo would begin to glow so brightly it hummed: he seemed to have no idea the line he had just crossed with what he said, or perhaps he did and simply didn't care. She had started fighting for her very life and soul at the age of four, she wasn't going to be a pushover now. It mattered little that they shared the same blood - she had murdered her own mother after all. No, this guy was threatening her family and she wasn't going to stand for it - she wanted him broken.

Of course, there was the manner of his sword she had to worry about. Dez jumped back, using her full speed to ensure she was out of the way from the moving blade. She knew that Junior was good with swords, but Destiny preferred to use her fists or long ranged weapons.

She watched carefully, ready to pull either of her siblings out of the way if they needed it: though she doubted they would. She noticed that her father's other siblings were seated: apparently they weren't going to get involved, at least not right now.

John Jr was fast. Too fast. He would have to be slick in this fight, or he was done for. Destiny was gone at Angelic Speed, and even though Jr could see the sword coming with his Zone Eye, his body was not fast enough to get out of his way. His mind working fast, he decided to use a move he learned in the ninja world.

Jr didn't move. To those watching, it would appear that Jr was hit, and chopped in half. This wasn't so. The very instant that the sword touched him was when his body suddenly turned into smoke, and left in his place was a block of wood.

Several feet away, Jr was putting on a pair of black fingerless gloves that had a swirl symbol on the back of each. He didn't know how he would figure in this fight, since John Jr was faster than he was, even with that armor on. Jr knew that it was probably going to be one of his sisters that took this guy down, so at best he would have to provide a distraction.

The first thing to do would be to piss him off. Jr could use that anger, literally. Too much of it and he would become impulsive, sloppy. This would create openings. He already had a giant ego, so this was a plus. Brains had to be used when it came to a faster fighter; his father taught him this. "I hope that wasn't your best, otherwise this is gonna be over quick," Jr said. "Surely the great John Jr can do better than that, right? I mean, come on! You train everyday, constantly, right? I should be dead right now!"

Destiny was pissed off: Demi could tell even though her face was a passive emotionless mask. That was the hint of it of course – Destiny was normally all smiles and smirks, so her hiding it meant she was trying very hard to control it. She didn't like the idea that her sister was pissed off, especially because Demi knew what nerve had been struck right then and there. Destiny's life hadn't been comfortable: she had had to commit patricide at the age of four against her own mother, who had attempted to kill her more times then Demi even knew. No, Destiny hadn't had a choice but to learn to fight, to learn to survive.

Destiny jumped out of the way, and Junior used a technique learned in the other world to escape the attack. Demi? Stood right there: she too was going to use a technique gained in the other world. Both of her eyes had bled to red, Mangekyo Sharingan activated; giving her the ability to use Kamui. Through it she was able to make portions of her body intangible, thus allowing the blade to pass harmlessly through her without causing her any harm at all.

She heard Junior's words – not exactly his style – and it gave her a hint of what he was trying to do. John Jr. had a big ego, and likely was the type to get pissed off easily. She knew that with John Jr. being a pure blooded angel he was likely faster then Junior, so Junior wasn't going to be able to take him directly.

It was then that Demi constructed twenty five senbon per hand; using an ability from her angelic traits that allowed her to mold energy into physical being. She threw them with accuracy, aiming to hit John Jr in the face. She didn't think they'd actually kill them, but if it created an opening for one of the other two then it would surely work.

The first female, Destiny was her name if he remembered correctly, got out of the way. Wise. But the other two did things that none of them had seen before. When he his Alec's son, he seemed to... turn into a piece of wood? And the other female, Demitria? What sort of sorcery did she pull? His sword seemed to pass right through her, yet she still stood?

Then Alec's son was speaking, seen a few feet away to the right. What sort of trickery had they learned? A look of bewilderment was on his face, replaced by a frown at Alec's son's words. Yes, he should be dead right now. Yes, he did train daily.

John Jr threw his shield toward Demi, blocking the knives she threw, while at the same time aiming to hit her with it. John was able to notice that Alec's son wasn't as fast as he, or Destiny, and likely wasn't as fast as Demi either. He would be the first to fall. "Keep talking, your trickery will only work for so long," he said before rushing towards him, with the intention of heel kicking the side of his head.

Alec put his toys away, and attempted a head-on approach. It would be suicide on a battlefield, but John remained where he was. He wanted to see the strength of his son after thousands of years on Earth. When Alec swung his sword, the very sword he'd forged for him so long ago, John simply raised up his staff to block the swing. The spear could stand up to any weapon, and would likely throw Alec off balance with the deflection.

...Or so he thought.

The realization hit John that the sword had been powered up beyond his own constructions right before the two weapons made contact. He'd nearly forgotten that his childhood friend Audrey sacrificed herself upon the weapon, in order to be at Alec's side forever.

The two weapons meet with an ear shattering KLANG sound, producing a spark. Instead of Alec being the one thrown off balance, it was John, even in full armor. A surprised expression appeared on his face as he stumbled backwards, seeing that his trusty spear had been damaged slightly. How was this possible?

Those watching took surprised expressions too. John Kane was said to be invincible, having felled entire armies of Demons and Arch Demons single handed, yet here was his son, a mere Earthling, sending him stumbling for the first time. Alexis and Alexander both looked totally shocked because of Alec's kids and Alec himself. Harriet continued to look content...

John Kane blocked the swing, but Alec knocked him off balance. Maybe this hadn't happened before, judging from the reactions of those standing around watching.

With that swing completed, Alec executed a backhanded swing, another forward swing, and another backhanded swing, executed with such ferocity that clouds of dust whipped up on either sides of him, to then ended this sword combination with a hard "haymaker" swing of the Angel Sword sent with such velocity that reality ripped behind it's wake. He'd never aimed to behead someone with such intensity before today.

Even if he managed to block this swing it was still going to hurt. The Angel Sword was glowing about as brightly as it ever had. Maybe Audrey was aware of what was happening, and was trying her best to help him. Alec believed this in his heart. Alec could hear his 3 children behind him fighting, but he was positive that all 3 could hold their own.

Junior used a substitution technique to get out of being attacked, while Demi put Kamui to use for the first time since they arrived back from that other world. Demi then created several senbon out of energy and sent them flying towards John Jr.'s face. Destiny wasn't worried about Demi being hit – with Kamui in play it would be damn near impossible for anyone to land a hit on her, plus Demi was just as fast as him.

Meanwhile, her father and grandfather were still fighting. Her father's sword had caused damage to her grandfather's spear. Now it looked as if her father was attempting to behead John, while John Jr looked to be trying to rush at Junior. Had he figured out that Junior was the slowest of them all?

Destiny was not about to allow John Jr to go rushing at her brother like he intended. She knew that Junior didn't necessarily need her help but she was still feeling really pissed off about his statement earlier. Thinking quickly Destiny used the same method of energy manipulation as her sister just had: only instead of a weapon Destiny created a chain. She would send this chain flying towards the leg that John Jr was using to try and attack her brother with. Were the chain to hit him, and wrap around his leg like she intended, she would tug on it in an attempt to knock him off of his feet and preferably onto his face. She was hoping to embarrass him: to knock him down a few notches.

It's like I thought. They couldn't see what we were doing when we were in the ninja world. We can use that to our advantage, use your ninja moves. A telepathic message sent to both Demi and Dez.

Jr tightened up his fists when he saw that John was coming towards him, and disregarding his sisters. John probably found that Jr wasn't as fast as Demi and Dez just from that sword swing. He'd thrown his shield at Demi, likely blocking the knives she threw, and came speeding towards him.

However, Dez created a chain, and tossed it towards the leg that John was currently spinning around to kick towards his head. Jr saw this as an opportunity. He himself rushed towards John Jr right as it would seem that the chain would wrap around John Jr's leg and either hinder or halt his movement.

"Trickery, huh? You all probably watched everything we did on Earth, but i'm thinking you didn't see what we were up to in the other world, yeah? Confident and cocky John Jr who does nothing but train like some robot for 8,000 years, how's it feel to know that you're about to get your butt kicked by me and a couple of girls?"

More attempts to drive his anger up, so that it would be easier to take it up to overdrive; blind him with rage. He'd lose all reason and act stupid. He and his sisters would have this fight in the bag then.

With both of his fists glowing, Jr aimed a punch towards his gut, around the time that the chain would be wrapped around his leg and change his movement. Were the punch to hit, there would be an explosion the equivalent of a grenade exploding. Jr was immune to fire as well as his own techniques, so he would be left unharmed. The same couldn't be said of John Jr though. If that punch connected, Jr would launch 3 more, then attempt a mouth blow, which would probably send him speeding toward Demi, wide open and dazed. What kind of actual damage it would do to him was left to be seen.

Junior sent a telepathic medicine saying that it seemed like they didn't know bout what they'd learned in the other world, and use those abilities: it was definitely a good plan.

Demi watched the shield come towards her as if it were in slow motion due to her sharingan being active. She used Kamui once more, dodging the shield in a manner of speaking - he was going to have to try harder to be able to hit her. The round of senbon she had sent flying had been blocked by the shield but it looked as if Junior and Dez were going to land some hits of their own. Dez had aimed a chain she created to wrap around John Jr's leg and Junior was aiming to hit John Jr several times and send him flying towards her.

Were that to happen Demi would wait until the opportune moment and aim a kick to the underside of John Jr's head/chin. Were it to connect an launch him skyward like she had been intending she would jump up fast, aiming to pass him up and get above him, and then send a downward kick into his head which if not dodged would send him flying back towards the ground at high speeds.

"There's NO WAY IN HELL i'd lose to a bunch of Earth bred half Angels the likes of you! I am the--"

Something wrapped around his leg. He wasn't able to complete his kick, even being sure that it was about to hit. With his momentum changed, the top half of his body flew forward, while the bottom half was suddenly halted.

Alec's son punched toward his mid-section. With his armor, and how weak these Angels had to be, John Jr was sure that he wouldn't feel it. Yet, when the punch landed, there was an explosion that rattled his insides. Furthermore, Alec's son didn't look affected at all. 3 more punches with 3 more explosions would follow this that had John Jr vomiting blood. This combo finished with am explosive punch to the face, which blinded him in one eye and nearly took half of his head off. Many standing around let out moans of excitement and disbelief.

With Angelic Healing already beginning to repair the damage to his face, the unbelieving John Jr was sent flying through the air towards Demi, who'd somehow blocked his shield. His direction was changed with a kick to the chin. Flying upwards with blood and stars in his eyes, he didn't fly for long before he was hit again, sent back down to the ground, and impacting it with the force that created an explosion of dirt.

"Oh man... I never would have guessed they were so strong," said Alexander, hardly believing what he was seeing. He and Alexis both looked shocked, while Harriet looked calm and collected, grinning. "I mean, to have grown up on Earth, and be able to stand up to fully trained Warrior Angels..."

John Jr was flattened. John couldn't believe what he was seeing. Even his children were so strong?... After being knocked off balance himself, John was shocked because of his weapon being damaged, something even Arch Demons had been unable to do, and because his son, the best of his generation, and been flattened by Alec's kids. Easily in fact. The boy and 2 girls had been able to adjust to a new environment, exploit John Jr's weakness - which was his ego - and land solid attacks on him.

Alec executed 3 more swings of his sword, further damaging his spear. The third swing broke the spear in 2, causing his eyes to widen, while still being knocked backwards. John, beginning to sweat now, could have sworn he saw Audrey's angry face with every swing of the sword. When the final massive swing came, which was enough to tear reality, John was barely able to duck beneath it, feeling some of his hair as well as pieces of his wings be torn off.

John never figured he would have to use Demon Trigger so early in a fight. He never had to. If he didn't use it now, he would likely stand no chance versus his son's rage. His trademark ability would come to life suddenly, throwing the space around him into disarray. Alec would likely be thrown airborne, and John would use the surprise to execute one kick, turning to the left and intending to drive the bottom of his foot into the chest of Alec, which would probably shatter his sternum, cause several of his internal organs to explode and send him into a coma.

"...You did well to stand up to me, Son..." John would say. "You even managed to drive me back, something no being has ever been able to do... but you never really stood a chance to begin with. This fight is over..."

The smoke cleared, and John Jr was halfway through the process of healing, even though his armor was burned from Jr's punches, and some scars wouldn't disappear. He gave an evil grin from the shallow hole he was lying in to see his father use his Demon Trigger. "Ha.... hahahah... It doesn't matter what you Earth breds do to me... You don't stand a chance now... Time to surrender, weaklings..."
