Meeting Some More Family [Pyra, Junior, or Invite][NR]

Sicarius was carried in Pyra's arms the whole way to Darkman Tower from Sunset Isle. Pyra had come to a stop in front of the gates of the tower and Sicarius motioned for herself to be put down. "Down please." She would wait until Pyra placed her down before taking his hand and leading him forward and up to the gates. "Hello?", she would call out. Would someone come and get her? Or would she simply be free to walk right in? She surely looked like a young female member of the Kane family: long white hair, silvery eyes, white knee length dress with a black colored pretty vest over top, white ballet shoes upon her feet, and a halo and wings fully visible.

Sicarius would simply move forward, tugging gently on Pyra so that he would follow after her as she continued to hold her best friend's hand. Sicarius would pause every so often and glance up at the tower, head cocked backwards in an attempt to see it all - though given all of the cloud coverage that wasn't really possible.

Still, she waited to see if someone would show up, or if she could just walk right in... She could hear a fight nearby and it sounded rather violent: she had no intentions of getting herself or Pyra involved, so she wanted inside as quickly as possible...

"Down please."

The creature nodded, kneeling down so that Sicarius could slide out of his arms. He could heard the sounds of fightning nearby as well, and made his hand twitch. There was pain being caused, and he was not on either end of it. He frowned somewhat, and grunted rather loudly. Reaching to his back where he usually kept his Great Knife, the male pulled the weapon free of the makeshift sling he wore on the back of his smock. While he'd rather not have to fight with Sicarius nearby, he would not hesitate to defend her should the fight spill this way.

When Sicarius took his hand, he squeezed hers reassuringly, nodding down to her. For now, all he could was wait until someone decided to answer the door. "Perhaps no one is home?"

The gates opened automatically. Since Sicarius had pure Kane blood running through her veins now, and now that she was technically a clone of Alec, this meant she could come and go as she pleased, and had full access to even the deepest, most secret areas of Darkman Tower.

Jr was outside. He was hovering several feet higher than the gate around the tower, a frown on his face, his arms folded. There was violence nearby; an alien with a grudge against Vigilante had invaded Edge, and was causing major damage. At least 5 people were dead, and 10 others were in the hospital with major injuries. Vigilante was attempting to deal with the situation, but his emotions were involved. Ka'lara went to help, but who knew how this would turn out. It was looking like he'd have to go deal with this thing himself.

Sicarious arrived right in the thick of it, with the same strange companion he saw her with when he first went to Velo and found out about Seraphina. "Sicarius, you and your friend come in here quick," said Jr. "This is an Edge problem. I don't want either of you getting dragged in..."

Seemed a lot of different things were going down now that he was boss. He wouldn't be able to always save the day, even with the power to manipulate time, something he promised his mother - where ever she was now - that he wouldn't abuse. He'd leave this thing to Vigilante and Ka'lara, along with whoever else bothered to get involved, and have Niala fix all the damage...

"Come on. You're one of us now, all of the doors will unlock for you, Sicarius. Take the elevator up to the top floor, i'll explain everything to both of you there..."

Jr, in the blink of an eye, shot towards the top of the building, splitting clouds up near the 800th floor...

Sicarius didn't need told twice to get inside - that fight was beginning to sound even more violent then it had when she first arrived and like previously stated she did not want involved. So, she gave another tug on Pyra's hand and then walked, quickly, inside as Junior took off suddenly upwards. Pyra followed closely behind her, only re-sheathing his weapon after they were safely within the building.

Sicarius led the way over to the elevator and on it,noticing just as Junior said that no one stopped her and she could come and go freely. She continued to hold Pyra's hand even on the elevator, having thought it would be rather frightening given how tall Darkman Tower was - but she hardly felt the thing move at all and less than a minute later the door was opening to allow them out on the top floor as Junior had instructed. Giggling happily she led t,he way to his office and walked inside.

Sicarius looked around as she walked over towards Junior's desk, having never saw before such a beautiful office. Pyra kept within three feet of her at all times, though given that he could feel Sicarius' relaxed nature through their bond he knew she saw no danger in this building or the people in it. Sicarius glanced back at Pyra and giggled again. "Calm. Junior is family, he won't harm me." Pyra grunted in response which Sicarius took as an agreement.

Jr had re-entered the office and was sitting at the desk again. A large screen was up, the fight between Vigilante, Ka'lara and the alien on it. From the looks of things, the alien was making sport of them so far, capitalizing on all of their mistakes. Jr could only imagine the kinds of fights that kid had to have gotten into out in space somewhere.

"So, it's like this..." Jr said, as Sicarius and her guardian friend entered the office. "The kid there, with the black hair and the scarf is an alien. He showed up here in a place not too far from here called Ground Zero, it's like hell on Earth there because of my dad, but that's another story. There's a portal there that goes to the underworld, so it's full of mutants and demons. That kid showed up over there and started killing big crowds of them by himself."

Jr scratched a hand through the white mop of hair atop his head. "I sent those two - Ka'lara and The Vigilante - over there to check him out. They got into a fight, and they barely won even though they were both fighting him at the same time. He's been telling them what he is. Apparently he's a member of a race called The Saiyans, existing only to fight strong opponents. They get stronger every time they get into a fight, and from what i've been able to see, have big egos and are cocky and head strong. It doesn't look like they enjoy losing, and since Vigilante there barely won in their last encounter, the alien kid came back for revenge..."

And here they were currently. Vigilante said something to the kid that had him waiting on something, apparently. What would come next?...

Pyra's pyramid covered head tilted in the direction of the screen as if he too were watching it despite what was covering his head. Sicarius likewise looked up and watched as Junior began to explain about the alien kid and how he had first arrived over at a place called Ground Zero. The two people who were fighting this alien kid had done so before, but had barely won, now apparently the alien was back for some kind of revenge.

Sicarius listened as Junior also explained that this alien was part of a race known as Saiyan's who lived to fight, didn't like to lose. From the sound of things it was a good thing that Sicarius and Pyra had avoided the fight - she had no interest in getting mixed up in something like that even if Pyra was super fast and super strong at the same time. "I'm glad I didn't get mixed up in that." Pyra gave a grunt; simply using that to state that he was glad she hadn't got mixed up in that either.

Sicarius kept her gaze upon the screen, focusing on the fight that was going on. "The alien can't get in here, right?", she asked suddenly, her hand slipping back into Pyra's as he moved forward in reaction to her sudden spike in anxiety. Sicarius had Imagination Manifestation to rely on, but her natural "Child Mindedness", the very thing that gave her this imagination ability, often caused her to over-look things quite easily.

Jr waves his hands when he noticed the big guy's reaction to her being scared. "No, he can't," Jr said immediately, before he would have his own problem to deal with right here in the office. "So calm down. We don't need an unnecessary accidents, yeah? There's no way anyone who isn't a Kane or doesn't have one of our special pendants can get in here, I promise."

Jr looked back to the screen as it appeared Ka'lara removed something from her arms and legs and started moving very fast. Vigilante turned on his 'super mode' again, and after a kick from Ka'lara, began to knock the alien away from the city, towards Old Edge, where barely anyone lived anymore. That was good thinking on his part. Jr pointed at the screen and began to rewind the damage caused from the fight. The hole in the street, just like rewinding a movie, began to get smaller and smaller until the street was repaired, as if it never happened. The people killed there when Vigilante landed were suddenly returned to life, and Jr could see them reunited with their loved ones.

Time Manipulation:

Since there were so many people brought back, Jr's nose began to bleed suddenly. He quickly reached into a drawer for some tissue, wiping his nose as a nasty headache came on - a symptom of returning people to life in this fashion, and so many at that. Repairing small things and reversing actions, that was normal for Jr, but bringing people back to life took it's toll. He frowned as he stared at the screen, his vision blurring somewhat.

"Ugghh... troublesome bullshit..."

Junior said that no one who wasn't of Kane blood or had one of the special pendants could get into the building. This pacified Pyra who relaxed once more, as well as Sicarius who released her hold on Pyra's hand.

Sicarius' attention remained on the monitor up until Junior's nose began to bleed. Her gaze darted towards him and Pyra's pryamid head likewise turned in his direction. Sicarius' head would tilt to the side and a frown would appear on her face. "You're hurt? I can help!"

Sicarius, not knowing if Junior would naturally heal from this, called forth her Imagination Manifestation ability while screwing her eyes shut tightly with focus, imagining that whatever was wrong with Junior was instantly fixed. This would, unless Junior healed beforehand or had a natural ability to stop her power from helping him, cause his headache to disappear and his nose to stop bleeding, as well as causing his vision to clear back up. This would, if it worked, only effect what had happened to him after rewinding all of that, and nothing more.

Child Minded -> Imagination Manifestation:

When she was done she would un-scrunch her face and open her eyes, staring with a smile at Junior. "Is that better? I tried to imagine whatever was wrong gone... did it work?" She had never used her imagination ability to heal but the concept was exactly the same.

Jr held up his left hand as the area surrounding him moved and distorted like water, or heat on a very hot day. What looked like hands rapidly spinning around a clock could be seen appearing and fading away. "No, don't! I'll be alright!" he said. "This is what happens when I rewind people. It can't be healed... it has something to do with the laws of time, it's too complicated to explain. Don't worry about me, i'll be fine..."

He looked back to the screen to see the alien kid pushed everything away from him then. He yelled something, and he began to glow a red color. Whatever that was, it couldn't have been good. Jr sat back in his chair, continuing to wipe his nose and frown at the screen. He was beginning to think that he'd have to go over there and step into this battle himself if it kept on like this...

"So... there's something I been thinking about," said Jr, throwing the tissue in the trash to his left side, then rubbing his eyes and the bridge of his nose. "Since you're like, a clone of my dad now, what am I supposed to call you? What does that make you to me?" It was a confusing subject. He couldn't exactly call the girl mom, or even dad for that matter.

"And also, now that you're a Kane, where will you be living at? Here?"

Sicarius shrugged: Junior said he would be alright and that was good enough for her since she obviously couldn't help him herself. At Junior's question she cocked her head to the side once more and brought her right pointer finger to her bottom lip, tapping her bottom lip in contemplation. "I'm not sure... I'm little. Maybe... your sister? It... makes the most sense to me. Seraphina is still my Aunt, or so I figure her. So I guess sister would be the best option...."

She trailed off suddenly as her silver colored gaze moved back to the monitor in time to see the alien kid launch a knee to the female's gut and then a kick to her head. The girl went flying through various objects and came to rest in the rubble and debris of a building. She watched for several seconds before a frown formed on her face - there was no movement coming from underneath of there...

"Is... is she dead?", Sicarius asked, her hand going to cover her mouth in a mixture of horror and shock. The girl had been so fast... how did this alien become even faster and stronger than her? It was terrifying to imagine. Then the alien was off to attack The Vigilante next... would he suffer the same fate as the female?

Jr started to frown and get up to head off to battle himself, before something else happened. There was something - or someone - familiar in the battle now. Whatever it was touched Ka'lara, attacked the kid, and put Vigilante back up onto his feet. There were only several people he knew that could move that fast; so fast that they couldn't be seen. It was either his father Alec, or his Grandfather, Darkman.

"Well, don't count them out just yet," Jr said, sitting down again. It appeared that this fight wasn't over yet, and the ball was back in Vigilante's and Ka'lara's court. "And, little sister... I guess that makes sense. So you're staying here, in Edge, then? I figured you for the island life, over on Sunset... But, whatever you decide is alright with me. It's just, here in Edge, this is the kind of stuff you're gonna have to expect to happen..."

He didn't exactly want to expose her to fighting and violence, but whoever or whatever that dude with the pyramid thing on his head was next to her was, he seemed pretty strong. He wouldn't have to worry about her with someone like him following her around.

Sicarius watched as some black figure intervened in the fight: Ka'lara was back in action, the alien kid was attacked, and then the guy with the suit on was put back on his feet. It all happened so fast that it even left Sicarius wondering if she had seen that all correctly. She kept her eyes trained on the fight as it progressed - Ka'lara attempting to follow through after the attack launched by the dark individual.

"Yeah. I planned on living here." Sicarius shrugged while keeping her eyes on the monitor. Pyra too seemed to be 'staring' at fight. "Amaranth's island is very nice but there's something that feels... right... about living in a city. I'm not sure how to explain it; it just feels more like me." It truly didn't make any sense to her and like usual when she attempted to think too hard into something from her past a pang of a headache started up that caused her to flinch and raise her hand to her head. She rubbed at her right temple with her hand momentarily and just shook her head.

"I don't like to think about it too much. Anytime I try and think too far back I get a headache."

Pyra stared down at the child. He had all of those memories because while he was created from Sicarius' imagination he was still capable of his own thoughts and memories. However, he had no reason in telling her anything about that place she had come from because Velo City wasn't his concern, she was. Besides, if thinking about the past caused her a headache then he was worried telling her about it would likely cause worse things to happen - and probably more pain.

Sicarius gave another shrug as she thought over how Junior had mentioned that stuff like this happened in Edge. "I don't mind violence... it just shocked me to see someone so fast be put down so easily. I've never seen an alien before... "

"Here," Jr said, sliding set of keys across the desk. "There's a 3 floored house up on the roof. It's where dad used to live, and you could say I live there now, but I spend most of my time here. You can sleep in any of the rooms. You should be able to find anything you need up there..."

Ka'lara put a beating on the kid and pummeled him into the ground. He wasn't moving much afterwards, but for some reason he started laughing. from the looks of things, something else was about to happen...

"Don't try thinking about the past, just think about now. The past isn't important anymore, and neither are the pieces of shit who hurt you. You gotta family fulla people who care about you now, don't forget it..."

She said she didn't mind the violence, and that was cool. After a beat down like that, what else was this kid gonna pull from his ass? When would he just go down and stay down already?...

Sicarius took the keys while listening to Junior explain about the three floor house up on the roof of the building: she could stay in any room she wanted. It all sounded rather neat and she knew she would have a lot of exploring to do both up there and in the tower itself. She stuck the keys into the inside pocket of the black vest she had on.

Sicarius then heard Junior say that she shouldn't think about the past, that what mattered was here and now. That those who hurt her in the past didn't matter and that now she had a family full of people who cared about her and to not forget it. Sicarius nodded in agreement, a bright smile on her face. "Mmkay. I'll make sure I remember that!", she said happily. She would leave the past in the past where it belonged and focus on the future.

Pyra gave a grunt as if wanting her to remember that he was there too. Sicarius turned and hugged Pyra quickly. "Don't worry, I won't forget that your here, too."

Then her gaze turned towards the monitor once more. Ka'lara was keeping her distance from the hole in the ground that the alien kid was in. She had also coated herself in what looked like little tiny bolts of lightning that danced across what Sicarius assumed was every inch of her. "Wow... that's awesome... ", Sicarius said, her jaw dropping open somewhat as she kept watch. What would the guy with the suit on do? Would he go into that hole? Or would he wait and see what was going to happen too?

"What... the... fuck...?"

If he was seeing this right, the kid turned into a giant gorilla. A giant... gorilla. Pounding his chest, roaring at the night sky. Was this really for real? Was this what a Saiyan truly was?

"This... this cannot be happening. You're telling me there's aliens out there that can pull THIS kind of shit off?"

It was a REALLY good thing that Vigilante moved the fight over to Old Edge. If something like that were unleashed around here somewhere, then involving himself into the fight would be something he'd be unable to avoid. It was starting to look like that anyway, unless Ka'lara and Vigilante thought of something...

"...... Oh dear. That's not good.", was Sicarius' comment as she watched as the alien transformed into an ape that, if she had to guess, was about one hundred feet tall. Sicarius personally couldn't see how the guy in the suit and the girl were going to be able to defeat a creature such as this. It seemed like no matter how many times this alien got knocked down he just got right back up: bigger and stronger than he was when he went down.

"This is like watching some sort of action-horror movie mixture. Only where the bad guy keeps winning instead of the good guys.", Sicarius said as Pyra reached down and ruffled her hair - avoiding the halo hovering above her head. Sicarius grinned and looked up at Pyra. "I know, you like to fight.. but like Junior said, this doesn't involve us."

Pyra gave a grunt of a response and a shrug of the shoulders before turning his head towards the monitor once more. Sicarius wondered if the dark individiual would show up again to step in, or if the guy and girl were on their own this time. "Who or what was that black thing that helped them earlier?"

Jr, from here, could feel the vibrations from the battles. He looked out of the window over in the direction of Old Edge and could see the orange from the explosions. "And he has death breath too? Jesus man, this cannot be happening..."

Something like this was troublesome. He suddenly had a random thought that if this guy was on their side, then perhaps the fighting would stop. Somebody like that would be cool to have on the Company's side, and a waste to kill. A few questions had to be answered though... Would Jr or one of them be able to get through to the alien? He had to have technology that was literally out of this world. Would everyone be able to let go of their grudges and get along with this guy? That had to be the hardest question...

"Well," Jr said to Sicarius. "It can only be one of two people... Dad, or Grandpa Darkman, the guy this building is named after, and the guy who built this city. Seeing as Dad is over on Sunset Island, i'm gonna lean towards Grandpa..."

Was he gonna step in again, now that thing took this sort of turn? Jr didn't think so...

"What the fuck is going on?", came Niala's voice as she walked into the office. She had been off handling some personal business when all of the shaking and the general noise of the fight had finally brought what was going on to her attention. A frown was on her face as her red colored gaze fell upon the monitor that showed the destructive fight that was going on. It looked like the new girl - Ka'lara - and Vigilante were fighting a giant ape creature that was causing all sorts of destruction over in Old Edge.

Niala was in half a mind frame to go over there and put a stop to it: could there be innocent people still over there? It wouldn't take her anything at all to simply freeze that giant ape and leave it to her mercy - or the mercy of those fighting it right now. But, she kept herself in the office and simply waited for someone to explain why there was a giant King Kong sized ape raining down destruction upon Edge City.

"I can fix all of the damages when this is over with, but still... should I go over there and stop this? You know i can...", she said, taking her red gaze off of the monitor and looking over to Junior. She was sure he could stop this too, and was curious as to why he hadn't done so yet. A glance back over to the monitor showed that Ka'lara was attempting to manifest a blade and cut off something from the giant ape: would it work?

She then glanced over to Sicarius and the thing with a pyramid on its head. "I'm Niala by the way...", she said, always feeling the need to be polite.

"That's insane!", she exclaimed as she watched the monitor.

Sicarius listened as Junior explained that there were only two people who could have possibly been responsible for helping out girl and the guy over there fighting. One of those people was over on Sunset Isle and so Junior was sure it had been Darkman, her grandfather.

Then the office door was being opened and a female walked in asking what was going on. She explained how she could fix things, and then even seemed to suggest going over there to help with the the situation - but she looked at Junior, deferring to him on if he wanted her to go do that or not. She then introduced herself as Niala.

Sicarius pointed to herself, "I'm Sicarius" and then she motioned towarsd Pyra, "This is Pyra."

Ka'lara and Vigilante orchestrated an attack that caused the alien to revert back to it's original size. It seemed the power of the transformation lie in the tail. The alien looked totally out of it. After he pulled something out of his pocket - a remote by the looks of it - he just lay there, defeated. Scans show something heading towards the area at a super high rate of speed; probably the alien's space ship.

The fight was over. All that was left to be seen was whether or not they were going to finish him off. It would have been a waste to kill such a talented kid, even if he were evil. With the right persuasions though, anyone could be bent. Jr was hoping they didn't kill the kid. He said something about a "Super Saiyan." That Ape transformation couldn't have been it; there seemed to be more to the kid.

Niala walked in as Jr relaxed, and his nose started to bleed again. He grabbed more tissue from the drawer and put it to his face, frowning. "Ugghh..." he mumbled, as the next wave of migraine hit him. "Long story short, alien attacks Ground Zero. Vigilante and Ka'lara investigate. Alien whoops both of their asses, Vigilante goes super and barely wins. Alien heals, goes to Neutral, wreaks havoc. Alien comes to Edge next, round 2 starts. Alien kicks Vigilante's and Ka'lara's asses again, who I think has to be my grand dad jumps in, turns the tables. Alien turns into King Kong, and, as you just saw, Ka'lara and Vigilante barely win... again."

Jr squinted his eyes and continued to wipe his nose.

Niala saw the nosebleed of Junior's and frowned: but if it was still bleeding she easily assumed it was something she couldn't heal. "I'm assuming trying to help you with that won't work..", she said softly, nodding towards his bleeding nose before listening to him describe what had happened.

An alien had attacked Ground Zero and Ka'lara and V had gone over to see what was going on. The alien had attacked them and they had barely won. The alien had then healed and gone over to Neutral where he had reigned destruction down upon the place before coming back to Edge. Another fight had started and V and Ka'lara had almost lost, and likely would have had it not been for Darkman. After that the tables had turned, the kid had turned into a giant ape, and Ka'lara had realized that removing his tail was the key... and now here they were, at the end of the fight.

Niala saw Ka'lara remove a weapon from her pouch and walk towards the kid. Was she going to slaughter him while he was down? Was she going to kill the kid right now while she had the chance? She watched as Ka'lara suddenly stopped, spoke something that looked like "I can't kill him" and then dropped the kunai upon the ground. Would V do it then, since it looked like Ka'lara couldn't or wouldn't go through with it?

"It looks like she won't kill him while he's down... I wonder if V will show him the same courtesy." She glanced away from the monitor and to Junior. "I'll fix everything once they either kill the alien, or he gets out of there..."

Sicarius and Pyra watched the monitor as the fight drew to a close. Sicarius yawned in a tired manner and looked up at Pyra as she took his hand. "Come on, I'm tired and need a nap... the fight looks like it's over now." Sicarius then turned her attention to Junior. "If you need me I'll be sleeping somewhere.", she said with a giggle. She gave a wave in Niala's direction of goodbye and then turned and walked out of the office.

Pyra followed behind her, his hand still in hers, as they walked out of the office and headed upstairs...

[Exit]

Ka'lara and Vigilante opted not to kill the alien. His ship came along and he crawled inside. He said something to them before it blasted off and disappeared, and Jr closed the screen. He didn't answer Niala when she said healing him wouldn't work; he only frowned and kept wiping blood. The napkin in his hands was steadily turning red.

The fight was over. Sicarius said she was going upstairs to go to sleep, and he nodded his head before she left. Jr couldn't help but to begin having second thoughts about this whole boss thing. It was starting to seem like too much trouble; too much of a headache. What he wanted was to lounge on a beach in tropical weather like he used to before he was sucked into the ninja world. What he wanted was to be care free, not catch migraines and nose bleeds from bringing innocents back to life, or to send his friends to nearly die fighting aliens that could transform into giant monkeys.

He'd stay where he was for now, but whenever his father came back from that survival adventure, the two of them would have to have a long talk...

"..."

Niala went and sat down behind her desk, however instead of facing the computer like she normally did she turned her chair around so that she was facing out of the window. She focused all of her attention onto Old Edge. Some lives had been lost, and a lot of damage had been done - some buildings had been entirely destroyed. But, it could all be reversed, it could all be fixed.

Concentrating very hard on Old Edge she began to fix the damage. Cars that were destroyed were repaired. The holes in the ground were fixed as good as new. Buildings were either repaired or replaced all together as if the entire fight had never happened. Even the smallest of damages was repaired and fixed: Niala left no stone un-turned as she fixed the area.. She kept her focus, wanting to ensure the job was done perfectly...

They had won and yet Ka'lara still felt defeated. All she could keep hearing in her head was the echoes of her teachers voices as a child 'Never hesitate to kill, for your enemy will not show you the same kindness'. And yet, she had done just that. She has hesitated. Hell, she hadn't killed the kid at all. She hadn't been able to bring herself to commit such an act: the kid had been flat on his back, too weak to barely make it to his ship. He wouldn't have been able to fight her off and so she hadn't done it, it just hadn't seemed right.

Now all she could do was wait and see the consequences of her actions. Would Junior be pissed off at her and The Vigilante for not finishing the kid off despite all the damage he had caused and the lives he had taken? Would she be kicked out of the Company so soon after being allowed in? Better yet, was that alien kid going to come back and rip her limb from limb and then beat her with her own severed body parts?

So, feeling almost like she was a kid having been summoned to the principals office after being caught doing something naughty, she exited the elevator on the 1,000th floor and walked down the hallway to Junior's office, alone - The Vigilante had said he wasn't coming back to the tower. She hadn't bothered going to her suite first and cleaning up, and really couldn't care less at the moment about her war-torn appearance. She opened up the office door and stepped into the room. Niala was behind her desk doing whatever it was she normally did, and Junior was likewise there: she could only imagine that the two of them had somehow watched the fight as it had happened.

She took a deep breath and launched into her explanation before any questions could be asked of her, "I'm guessing you all watched that. I couldn't bring myself to kill the kid. I'm a trained shinobi taught to never show my enemies the slightest hesitation and yet, despite all that the kid had done, I couldn't bring myself to kill him.
