Where Is My Best Friend? [Pyra, or Invite][NR]

Unlike her Aunt Seraphina who had left with her father shortly after whatever had happened at Amaranth's lab had, Sicarius had stayed behind on Sunset Isle. The place was just too beautiful to abandon that quickly. So, instead she had stayed behind and ventured along the beaches. She had mostly people watched, but every so often she had ventured into the water that seemed the perfect temperature no matter if it was day or night.

But now? Well, now she was becoming lonely. She hadn't spent this much time away from Pyra since she had first pulled him out of her imagination with Imagination Manifestation - a part of her life that was very fuzzy and hard to understand, a part of her life that if she focused on too hard caused a massive headache to form, so she simply tried not to. She could still feel the constant bond that connected her to Pyra though and she gave it a mental tug as she closed her eyes. "Pyra...", she called out loud and mentally at the same time. If her connection was as strong as ever with her best friend then she would simply call him into being right next to her so long as he accepted the summons, if not then she didn't know what she was going to do...

She kept her eyes closed, the wind blowing her long white hair around, and in front of her face. Her white knee length dress with the decorative black vest likewise billowing in the wind. Her halo glowed brightly, and several feathers from her wings went drifting off into the breeze, and she could hear adults and kids playing off in the distance. But, she paid none of that any mind, all she cared about was calling up her best friend.

As soon as the voice died off in the winds, the creature appeared in the blink of an eye, simply materializing himself out of thin air. His creator requested his presense, and nothing would stop him from coming to her side. He would appear beside her, dressed in his normal attire; the torn and tattered butcher's smock covering his lower half, pale skin that seemed to refuse to soak up sun stretched taunt over the muscular upperbody. His arms were crossed under the giant pyramid shaped helment that he wore.

The sights, sounds and sensations of the beach meant nothing to him. He knew they were there, he understood thier concept through Sicarius. He understood how she enjoyed them, but he simply took no notice of them. They did not register in his mind as something to take note. The Unspeakable Horror took his cues from young Sicarius. And speaking of..

The creature turned his head to 'look' at the child, grunting softly to announce his presense.

Grunting reached her ears and her eyes flew open. Her head turned sideways to take in the appearance of Pyra. Pyra was just the same as he was when she imagined him and a grin spread across her face at the general happiness that flooded through her as she took in her friends appearance. "Pyra!", she exclaimed, arms stretched wide as she crossed the several feet that separated them and hugged her friend tightly.

She then looked up towards Pyra, having realized what she had neglected to in quite some time: with all of that grunting he did he never did actually speak and she wondered if she had perhaps forgotten to given him a voice when she imagined him. Still smiling from ear to ear she tilted her head sideways a bit. "I forgot to give you the ability to talk..", she said suddenly.

Eyes would close as she focused within her mind what she wanted. She imagined Pyra with the capability of speech and then willed this into existence thus granting her best friend the ability to speak if he so wanted. Eyelids fluttered open and a giggle escaped the child. "That's better! Now you can talk if you want to!" She looked around Pyra to all of the people left on the beach. Due to how late it was getting most people were rounding up their children to head to bed in whatever hotel it was they were staying in. Others, mostly teenagers, were lighting up bonfires and pulling out coolers that she assumed were packed full of alcohol.

Child Minded -> Imagination Manifestation:

The giant hugged the child tightly, taking care not to harm her. He was aware of the changes that she'd undergone in his absense, and did not know of the full extent of her abilities now. But that was okay; she was still his creator. He would ...love her? Was that the correct word? He cared for her; she was his creator. But what did he actually feel for her? Gratitude? Affection? It was something he never thought about befo--


"I forgot to give you the ability to talk.."

And train of thought derailed, all passengers aboard killed in the wreck.

What?

The ability to speak?

He... wow. He'd never actually spoken before. Nothing more than a grunt, growling and moaning.

As Sicarius closed her eyes and began to concentrate, the creature could feel his 'throat' begin to tickle; a strange, pleasent feeling as if something were being imagined into existance -- the same feeling he had when he was created before. He wasnt afraid, if it was something that Sicarius was doing, he had no reason to be afraid.

"That's better! Now you can talk if you want to!"

From where beneath that helmet, an orifice would open and the voice would emerge; a deep bass, something skin to rolling thunder. "Thank you, Sicarius, for this gift." Despite the deepness, the was still something quiet about the voice, like it was whispering to ensure that something did not wake up.

Pyra thanked her for the gift she had given him in a deep but quiet voice and it caused her to giggle happily once more: her halo glowing brightly above her head in response to her overly happy emotions. "You're welcome!", she responded as her angelic wings fluttered; more white feathers falling to the ground and being blown about in the wind.

Sicarius's head turned as she looked towards Edge City in the distance. She could see the lights glowing from the buildings across the river and beyond those smaller buildings she could see even from her vantage point Darkman Tower which stood higher than the rest - so high that it broke through the clouds and rose higher still. That was where they were going to live and Sicarius was curious to go start and exploring her new home; though in the back of her mind she wondered if someone would be expecting her or not. Aunt Seraphina had, after all, gone off with Sicarius' father to a dark and shadowy place known as Makkuragakure.

Sicarius pointed towards Edge City. "That's where we're going to live now, I think." Sicarius felt a familiar pang in her skull as she attempted to remember where it was she had lived before. The pain caused her to quit just as quickly as she had tried. "My brain hurts when I try and remember where we used to live, but we're gonna live there now." Her child-mindedness showed quite easily as she spoke, especially with how easily she gave up with attempting to figure out why it was that her head hurt, or where it was that she used to live.

"I don't know how we're going to get there though..." She looked towards the water's calm surface. She could fly, and technically when she had created Pyra she had made him half angel and half demon... which meant he should have the ability to fly too. However, Sicarius had never attempted yet to fly, and the idea of falling and smashing into something scared her a bit. "We could fly there but.. I've never flown before. I'm afraid I'll fall."

The male grunted in response, a old habit by now to her welcoming him. He turned his head as she pointed off in the distance to Edge City.

"That's where we're going to live now, I think."

That place? He had no real comment about it, honestly. So long as she was comfortable, he as fine with wherever. He'd take living in a... what was it called -- a dumpster? --- so long as Sicarious was hap--

"My brain hurts when I try and remember where we used to live, but we're gonna live there now."

Another train derailed. Mass casualties. Stationmaster arrested for suspected tampering.

She didnt remember where they were from? What was this? Pyra remembered; he was created by Sicarius, he shared her mind at times, but he was still capable of having his own memories. It was her DNA and memories that were changed, not his.He could still remember the tall structures of Velo city, but cared nothing for them. He had only been there because of Sicarius.

"I don't know how we're going to get there though... We could fly there but.. I've never flown before. I'm afraid I'll fall."

Pyra knew he could manifest wings to fly with, but had never done it before. He didnt want to attempt to fly, only to fall down at some point during the flight as well. But there were other otions...

"Perhaps... I can run us to the city... Over the water?"

It was worth a try, Pyra knew that he was a fast creature; perhaps he could run across the water's surface if he pushed himself?

Pyra suggested running them over to the city; right across the water. She knew such a thing was possible, when one moved fast enough they could essentially defy the law of a lot of things. If Pyra were to move fast enough he would be able to make so little contact with the surface of the water that he would be incapable of falling into it: she knew this because she had created him, and she knew of the speeds that he was capable of. Yes, this was how they would travel: it made the most sense.

So, Sicarius nodded in agreement and reached up for him, wanting picked up and carried. "That will work. You are fast enough that you shouldn't sink into the water, even carrying me.", she said happily. "Head towards Darkman Tower, it's the biggest of them all. But, don't go past the gates... I don't know if they'll be expecting me." She didn't want to cause un-needed trouble, especially because with Pyra having been created in the first place to protect her that would be exactly what he would do if she were threatened. No, it would be best they do this in the least threatening manner possible.
