A Company Meeting [All Company Members][NR]

Jr took a feather from his wing and made it glow. He said it would awaken the hidden potential inside of Yata. When Yata took it, the feather vanished, but there was a strange reaction. Yata began to glow a red color, and a warm wind came off of him. It made Matt look toward the guy strangely. What all would that aura allow him to do? Would the guy use it for good, or did he have something more devious in mind?

Matt hoped that one day he didn't have to face off against this guy, and that he stayed on the path of the straight and narrow. He had some training to do to get used to it. He said he was pretty hungry, and Jr always had one of those robots rolling around. He didn't see anything wrong with the guy getting a bite to eat. Being hungry did suck...

So the story was true? Nice. A red aura flare to life around Yata, and from what Jr could see, he'd began to realize some of the abilities that the Aura would let him do. Others would have to be found out through experience. "Not bad, not bad," Jr said, able to feel the heat coming off of him. "Though, I hope you're not the type to let these new powers go to your head and you start abusing them. I'm really hoping that's not the case."

His stomach was still growling, and he said something about dying if he didn't eat. Jr was inclined to believe him. He snapped his fingers and caused one of the robots to come rolling into the room. It stopped next to Yata and turned to face him. "If you tell it what you want to eat, it'll appear on that panel in it's chest. Please, eat till you get full..."

Assuming that Yata started eating, Jr took the time to go in his drawer to grab a Company Pendant, and also another Android Cellphone. "Tell you what, Yata... I know life at home must be pretty crappy, and I understand why you were driven to do some of the things you did. So i'm gonna make you an offer... I'll let you in as a ground level Company member. You're gonna have to bust your ass to earn your keep though. Take a visit to dirty jobs and put some work in. Also, I only put enough energy into that feather to kick start your hidden potential; if there's anything else to it, you're gonna have to bring it out on your own. Take these..."

Jr put the pendant connected to a chain and the cellphone down on the desk. "This pendant allows full access to the tower. Just wearing it will open mostly all of the doors. It'll also let you do things that ordinary people can't around town. Take this phone too. It's connected to the Edge Party line and let you get in contact with all other Company members instantly, and vice versa. Touch the screen to get started... I'm putting a lot of trust into you after that stunt yesterday Yata, I hope you realize this..."

Jr was pretty sure he wouldn't try anything. He still had alot to learn, and alot to earn. "If homelife really sucks as much as I think it does, you could always move here. We have suites downstairs. You wouldn't have to put up with sucky family members who don't even know you're alive..." Jr slid a card key across the desk next.

Niala watched curiously, being slightly shocked as she watched the feather disappear. Following this Yata was able to produce an aura of heat that Niala could feel and her head tilted a bit to the side as she watched him. She saw his evil grin and hoped that he wouldn't lose his head when he really got control over these powers.

She then listened to the comment about how he was so hungry he might die and Niala frowned slightly. She didn't like hearing or seeing anyone in that sort of position: it struck her in the heart because she had been in a position like that before Alec noticed her doing all of those jobs and plucked her off of the streets. Before she could comment though Junior was pulling out a Company pendant and a cellphone and she knew what he was about to offer the kid.

Her smile formed back on her face and she knew that so long as Yata put in work and kept his nose clean he was going to be alright from this day forward. Even more so as she watched Junior pass him a keycard too to that would allow him to have one of the suites downstairs. Sometimes taking risks paid off, and it seemed this was Yata's turn for life to turn around for the better for him.

Cala kept her focus on Yata as the feather that Junior had given him disappeared and she watched for a few moments as the aura appeared and heat seemed to radiate off of him. She wondered if he would one day be able to fully manipulate fire, or even heat. There was no telling. She watched as Junior offered him a pendant, a cellphone, and then a keycard. She figured it was going to be interesting having a new face in the Company, and she was curious to see what all Yata was going to aspire to.

Cala looked back at her phone and shot a quick response text message to her sister, "New member for the Company, guy's named Yata. Also, you're only going to end up whooping my ass." Devon aparently had speed typing abilities because Cala got a text back almost instantly. "Cool, and don't be a chicken.".

Cala shook her head again as she stared at the phone. "Ugh..Devon wants to spar. She just wants a chance to whoop my ass.", Cala said softly.

Yata wasn't going to do anything to ruin the good thing he had going here... but that wasn't to say that he wasn't going to go have himself some revenge on some "friends" and "family" later on. Oh yes, whenever he went back home it was going to be a fun time...

"No prob, Jr dude, i'll behave," he answered, but that evil grin of his remained.

A robot rolled into the room next to him, and Jr said it would fix him whatever he wanted to eat instantly. "Are you shittin me, Jr dude? No way," he said, but then again, Niala touched him and saw into his memories, and Jr just gave him a feather that activated the aura his grandfather always told him about, which he thought was just a story. "How about a meat lovers pizza," he said to the robot, and his mouth wet with drool when it actually appeared. He touched the pizza to make sure it was real, then sat down to scoff the food into his face like a homeless man.

He ate pizzas and hamburgers until he was full. "Ohmigod, what a life saver," he said, patting his swollen gut. "I can't even remember the last time I ate this good." Next, Jr was giving him a chain with a pendant, which gave him access to mostly all of this tower, a cool looking android cell, and a key to one of the rooms downstairs? He didn't have to live in that house anymore? Well, it wasn't like they'd really know - or care - that he was gone. He was going to live here in this tower then. He put the chain on, then pocketed the cell phone and the card key.

"Yeah, I think i'll be sticking around here, most def. Lemme take one last trip back home and i'll be right back." Yata rolled backwards onto the back of his neck to do a brekadance twirl maneuver before springing forward to land on his board (The gif below, basically.). He rolled out of the room and back to the elevator...

So Yata was officially a Company Member. He got the chain, the cellphone and a room. It'd be interesting to see how far the guy would go. When he was in the elevator and on his way down towards the ground floor, Matt said "Let's just hope we can trust the guy. He has a bad look in his eye. I know he had a hard life so far, but still..."

Cala said Devon wanted to spar, and Matt looked puzzled. "What is it with all of these violent girls here? Dez and Demi, now you and Devon? Geez..."

Matt started to walk towards the door then too. "My Grands have to be getting back from their road trip by now, I should head back home to greet them. I'll be back sometime later..." he said, giving a wave and a grin behind him. He headed to one of the elevators and was the next to be headed towards the ground floor...

Yata didn't believe, but Jr chuckled as he began to stuff his face. Yata said he'd behave, but that remained yet to be seen. He seemed excited to be able to stay here in the tower, and Jr thought he'd be better off without a family that didn't care about him enough to even notice his existence. After eating he rolled out and said he'd be back.

"I hope so too, Big V. I believe he'll be alright..." said Jr, agreeing with what he'd said before he left out next.

Now all that really remained, with that business out of the way, was the farce on Sunset between Dez, Ghost, Amaranth, and Nova...
