A Company Meeting [All Company Members][NR]

He had to spend a few thousand dollars, but it was worth it. This wouldn't be a major issue, but this would make getting in touch and keeping in touch with everyone easier.

A call was sent out to what remained of the current Company member roster, minus Spook who'd gone back to Konoha. This would include Niala, of course, Destiny, Demi, Devon, Vigilante and Cala. Jr had scheduled a meeting for today. He was also hoping the guy from before, the one on the skateboard with the cool fighting style, would show up sometime soon.

For the moment, Jr sat behind the desk, occasionally bringing up a camera on the holographic computer above the desk, using his hand to scroll through some of the cameras. He waited for everyone to show up.

Niala was seated at her desk as she so often was. Leaning back in her comfortable black computer chair with the speakers up near the head rest. However, those speakers were silenced as she flipped through the various cameras within Edge. She was attempting to keep an eye out for any more of this individuals who wore the equal armed crosses: she was determined to ensure that no one else in the Company - or anyone else in Edge for that matter - ended up going through what Cala already did.

A cup of hot chai tea was rested in her hand, a tall cup with a lid, a straw, and a heat protective sleeve around the middle. Every so often she would sip it, or look towards the door, wondering who all would show up first.

A meeting?

Demi ran through the halls at full speed like a bullet shot from a gun. She had recently procured a white trench coat that actually fit her and wore beneath it a black t-shirt, black pants, and combat boots. Her hair was down and rather wild looking and a huge grin was on her face.

She reached the office and opened the door, figuring that someone was going to enter behind her. She bounced inside the room and threw herself into a nearby chair. She fidgeted and squirmed, obviously hyper. "What's up?"

A snort of a sound announced Destiny's arrival as she entered after her sister. "You need to calm down. You might explode if you don't.", Destiny joked as she moved out of the way of the doorway and across the room. Booted feet were almost silent as she crossed the room and took her usual perch over by the window. "Nice jacket by the way... I might whoop your ass for it later.", she said with a playful grin.

She leaned against it as she often did when the office had been Alec's and folded her arms across her chest. She remained still unlike her sister and fell silent, figuring that Junior would get around to explaining whatever this was about when everyone arrived. She adjusted the vest she wore over her black and white striped shirt and tugged it down a bit over her blue jeans.

Devon watched a blue followed by Destiny enter into the office and followed after the other two woman. She adjusted her glasses as she entered the room and moved off to one of the couches. She took a seat and crossed her legs. She pushed her black hair out of her face and pulled out a small square shaped device and a small pen. She began to write on the device, and every so often it would let out a soft beep: a distraction until the meeting actually began.

She listened to the playful banter that Destiny threw towards her sister and wondered if the two would really end up fighting over that rather nifty jacket that Demi had: something Devon could never have dreamed of trying to pull it off. Devon was dressed simply in what most would call a 'school girl' uniform only with leggings beneath it instead of stalkings and feet snugly put in her technologically advanced boots.

She glanced towards the door, her green gaze seeking out her sisters arrival.

Cala walked in right after her sister. Her purple and black hair was back in a ponytail, bangs slightly covering her mis-matched eyes. She glanced around, taking notice that several people had already arrived before her. Adjusting her black v-neck t-shirt she walked across the room. She was in a work out outfit, though still freshly showered. Her black pants with a gold colored infinity symbol on the left leg, black tennis shoes, purple leg warmers, and purple sweat bands around her wrists completed her outfit.

She wasn't as depressed as she had been when she was first kidnapped, but she was still a bit jumpy and took up a position a bit far off from everyone else: she wasn't worried about any of the people she knew bothering her but what if someone showed up she didn't know? She sat in a nice comfortable couch and kept herself quiet, wondering what this meeting was about.

Big V walked into the office suited up in his brand new armor. He just got the call not too long ago about some meeting Jr was having. V thought that maybe it was about those cross guys he beat up the day before yesterday. Maybe Jr found more. Maybe he was about to ask who wanted to go whoop their asses. V was prepared to volunteer for the job. He did a lot the other day, but he felt like that wasn't enough.

As he walked through the office the suit began to come off of him. There was no use hiding from these peeps, his secret was safe with them. The suit came off to reveal his normal clothes. His black hoodie unzipped with the white T-shirt underneath, the chain hanging from his neck with the Company Pendant. His black jeans, his sneakers.

Matt went off on Stretch for all of that shit he caused the other day. There was a big blow up, with Matt informing him that they were all growing up and that things would never be the same anymore. Matt told him that if Stretch couldn't deal with that, then they weren't going to be friends anymore. Matt also informed him that Stretch could always call him on the link up. Stretch began to understand after being pissed off about it for a while.

Matt slid his hands in his pockets as he was the last one to walk in. "Yo," he said to Jr. "Sup?"

Everyone came in, his sisters, Cala, Devon, and finally Vigilante. Jr got up from the desk and picked up a briefcase from his left side. "Ok, no one's in trouble or anything like that," Jr said. "And i'm not good with this meeting thing, so i'll try to make this quick. The party line we had in Makkura started making me think, and I figured we needed something like that here, a way for everyone to keep in touch. So I went out and bought these cell phones."

Company Cell Phone:

Jr opened the briefcase to reveal the phones, each with an earpiece. "I was thinking party line Edge style," said Jr, who already had one. "The phones are already programmed with all numbers exchanged. Touch your finger to the screen and the phone will recognize you and program it in."

Niala watched as one by one everyone entered. Demi showed up in a trench coat that made her look like a 'bad girl' so to speak, and Destiny entered after her with a threat of whooping Demi's butt and taking her jacket later. Then Devon entered who started to play on some computerized square object that made several beeping noises. Following this was Cala who seemed to keep a bit of distance as she got comfortable on a couch: the girl wasn't as depressed as before so Niala figured she was on her way to returning to normal - or as normal as Cala ever was.

Once Vigilante entered and took his suit off to reveal his alter ego she leaned back in her chair and took another sip of her tea as she turned her attention onto Junior. Junior revealed a breifcase that had cellphones within it, one for all of them. Niala had never really bothered with a phone before but could definitely understand the merit behind it.

She picked up a cellphone and looked it over curiously as she leaned back in her chair. This was definitely going to make getting a hold of people easier, especially if she happened to 'see' something that required immediate action. "Nifty."

Demi stuck her tongue out at Destiny playfully snd made a 'bring it on' motion with her hand. The idea of having a little playful fight with Destiny later over a coat wasn't something she was willing to pass up: though the coat was likely going to get destroyed in the process if past events could be used to predict the outcome. "I'll fight you anytime, Dezzy.", she said tauntingly.

As everyone else finished entering she fell silent and finally became still in her chair. She focused her silvery colored gaze on Junior, cracked a grin when he said that no one was in trouble, and looked to the cellphones he had revealed. She took one and looked it over a bit, noticing the C on the back of it. "Sweeeet!", she exclaimed as she caused the phone to light up and started going through different functions. "This is awesome."

Destiny just shook her head at her sister and made another soft snort of a sound: she doubted Junior would like it very much if they actually got into a fight - things were definitely going to end up broken and badly damaged. She glanced over to Cala and Devon as they entered and at Vigilante as well as he entered and caused his suit to be removed.

She too leaned forward and snagged up a phone. She gave it a quick glance over and pocketed it. "I missed that party line. This'll make things more interesting. Easier to know what's going on too, especially when I'm over on Sunset or visiting Makkura."

Devon looked up at her sister entered, noticing that she was still keeping her distance from people, but not as much as before. She then looked to Vigilante and grinned: she'd never forget how he saved her sister, and he'd always be considered a friend in her book. She then looked over towards Junior as he started the meeting. He said no one was in trouble, which Demi grinned at and had her wondering if Demi had done something recently she hadn't been caught for. He then spoke of how they used to have a party line back in Makkura and how he wanted to do something like that here. It would definitely be cool, and as he revealed the cellphones Devon could help but think they were awesome looking.

She got up and took one too, looking it over curiously. She pocketed her other device, ignoring it for now and began to play with the phone. "Neat."

Cala looked up at Matt walked in and caused his suit to disappear to reveal his actual clothing beneath. A smile instantly spread across her face and her eyes seemed to light up with happiness. She looked over to Junior as he began to speak, explaining how none of them were in trouble. He didn't seem to have any bad news, which Cala felt was a relief. He then explained how there was a party line in Makkura that allowed everyone to keep in touch, something that Cala thought was an excellent idea.

He had bought them all cellphones so they could keep in touch, and be reachable when needed. This was also an idea that she liked. She too got to her feet and went and got a phone, looking it over and noticing the C on the back of it. She caused the screen to light up and began to surf through some of the settings in curiosity. She moved back to a that was nearby Matt, and sprawled comfortably in it.

No trouble, huh. Bummer. Cool, but bummer. He noticed the office was full of girls. 2 of them, both looking alot like Jr and Alec, started talking about fighting over a coat. If those were Alec's kids, the battle was going to be nothing short of epic. Devon and Cala were there too, both of them smiling and grinning at him. Matt grinned back.

Jr opened a case with phones in them. "Cool!" he said. "Free phones? Free phones." Matt walked over and grabbed one. He put the ear piece in his left ear. He touched the screen and saw it say "Matt Black." He played with the phone a while, customizing the background and the ring tones. His main ring tone would be what he considered to be his theme song, especially after rescuing Cala the other day. "...If I had to, I would put myself right beside you, so let me ask would ya like that? Would ya like that?..." He mumbled along.

Eventually he slid the phone into his pocket. "Thanks Jr, this was a good idea. So uh... any word on those clowns from the other day? They didn't nab anyone else did they?"

"YA ASSES START FIGHTING OVER A COAT I'M TELLING DAD, AND LAUGH AS HE PUTS BOTH OF YOU OVER HIS KNEE," said Jr to Destiny and Demi in a serious tone.

Everyone seemed pleased with the phone idea, and he had a way to instantly get in touch with everyone should the need arise. To Matt he'd answer, "No, no word on them yet, and I haven't heard about any kidnappings. I don't think they'd be stupid enough to try nabbing somebody else out of here after the show you put on. If i hear anything i'll let you know... You must be hungry for more of them. Can't say I blame you..."

Jr closed the briefcase and went back behind the desk to sit down. "Anyways, like I said, this wasn't gonna be an all day thing. That's all I wanted. You might want to keep an eye out for any guys wearing something like this..." Jr made a big screen that showed the Templar Cross. "Also spouting some nonsense like 'may the father of understanding guide us.' They are under the impression that we have some sort of item or something called the Apple of Eden. they already kidnapped and tortured one of us to try to get their hands on it, and they also have drugs and technology that can turn someone with supernatural powers into just a normal human, so who knows what else they might pull. So stay on your guards and keep on the lookout. That is all, dismissed.... I always wanted to say that."

Niala bit her lips to keep herself from grinning as Junior threatened to tell their father if Demi and Destiny started to fight. She didn't think that they would actually do it, or so she hoped considering the damage it would cause Edge, but she knew of the damaging fights the pair used to get into back when Demi was a vampire.

Niala focused back on her cellphone as Junior dismissed them all, returning to playing with it...

Niala touched her desk, her eyes glazing over momentarily as future sight kicked in. Her entire body stiffened and a gasp escaped her. She saw darkness at first, and then forms manifested in color but were blurred around the edges as if she were watching a movie. She foresaw a young looking man arriving on Amaranth's island, anger and hatred seeming to swirl around him. This young man carried a dangerous weapon capable of great violence. The man was searching for someone and it took Niala several seconds to realize that what he was looking at was the back of a girl with a hood and cape - she didn't need to see in color to realize it was Amaranth...

Niala fought and clawed her way back to the present, forcing back the images before she could fully see the outcome. Her temples throbbed, and she could hear her heartbeat in her ears. "Destiny... get to Sunset... I saw...", She closed her eyes, wincing. "A visitor, so much anger and hatred... he was there for Amaranth. I don't know what he wanted, but he's going.."

Future Sight:

Demi cackled at Junior's warning and grinned from ear to ear. "Fine, we'll fight outside of Edge... ", she said playfully, sticking her tongue out at her brother. She really had no intentions of fighting Destiny, not with the amount of damage they were likely going to do. "Besides, she won't fight me anyway, she's too---" Whatever Destiny was too much of went unknown as she watched Niala slip into a trance like state - something that Demi had been around long enough to realize meant she was seeing something.

Demi's eyes grew wide as she listened to Niala's warning. Someone was going after Amaranth? Even if Niala didn't know exactly what they wanted to do to her, all of the anger and hatred Niala mentioned couldn't bode well. Demi's joking nature disappeared, returned with a serious one.

Demi got up slowly from her chair and scratched her head... "If you need anything, Dez, let me know." Demi then went and left the room with a frown, off to check on the supply of weapons she had slowly been building up on... at least they had these cellphones now to keep in touch.

Her mind didn't even register what Junior said. Her silvery colored gaze snapped to Niala as she entered into the trance like state that said her Future Sight was kicking in. When the girl came out of it and spoke to her fear flooded through Destiny along side anger. Someone was coming after her daughter? They. Would. Fucking. Die.

The old Kane rage that hadn't coursed through her veins in a long time appeared. Her halo burned so brightly it burst into flames. Without allowing anyone to talk her down she simply left the room via the window - smashing through it if no one reached it in time to open it before she left. Wings engaged and she took off straight towards Sunset to find her daughter, and Ghost. Someone was going to die today, she just knew it.

[Exit unless Prevented]

Devon giggled at Junior's warning: she couldn't imagine getting her butt busted at the ages that they were, but it likely would happen if they got into a fight over a silly coat. However, the mood seemed to shift as Niala began to see the future and reported to Destiny what she saw; warning her to get to Sunset Island immediately.

Devon glanced over to her sister and V before looking back to Niala. "Did the person have a cross on them? Like the guys who hurt Cala?", she asked tentaviely. She would wait until she got an answer before looking around the room and then walking towards the door. "I'll be downstairs... I wanna get this suit finished....."

[Exit]

Cala couldn't help but chuckle herself: she wanted to see those girls get into a fight if they did - that would definitely be an interesting thing to watch. She heard Matt singing along with the tune of his phone but before she could say anything about the song or anything at all Niala seemed to look like she was having some weird fit up until it became revealed she had seen the future.

The smile that had been on her face disappeared and faded away and she too looked at Devon and Matt before looking back to Niala. Were they? Or was this a different kind of threat?

Goosebumps broke out over her skin and she folded her arms tightly across her chest. She watched her sister leave and knew she was working on the project she had been building for Cala: she had been obsessed about it since Cala had returned. Cala remained in the office.

Then the mood soured. Niala said someone was headed to Sunset Island looking for the girl Amaranth. He remembered how cool she was that time he and Cala want over there. Suddenly he began to wonder if whether or not he should go over there himself. They'd need help, right?

"Hey, Jr, should I...go over there too?" Matt asked. He didn't want to leave them over there hanging if a threat was coming. He'd fully recovered from the other day, and was itching to get back into action. He would try to avoid using Super Mode again if he could, but if he had no choice he'd gladly wear himself out again.

He looked to see Jr's sister blast out of there, sort of like he himself did the other day...

Jr opened the window before his sister smashed through it, shaking his head. "You're over-reacting," he said to her as she passed him to jump out. Jr knew she probably wasn't hearing him, or anyone. Only their father would be able to stop her when she got like that.

"No, don't worry about it. There's no reason to get all uppity and worried. If someone is after Amaranth, they have to go through The Ghost. That guy is undefeated; he was the secret weapon when they were all in Murder INC. Going after his daughter? How stupid is that?" Jr laughed as he sat back behind the desk.

He waved a hand with a grin. "Seriously, don't get all worried, ok? I heard about that guy taking out whole organizations, kinda like my dad used to. We're talking death wish if you mess with that guy's kid. A full on Charles Bronson. Relax..." Jr went through a few cameras.

"So, that guy from earlier, with the skateboard... I hope he shows up, and didn't chicken out..."

Niala shifted uncomfortable in her seat as the remaining effects of the Future Sight ebbed away. It was always weird accidentally seeing things like that, and she only had herself to blame before she had forgotten to put her gloves on - then again, if she had she wouldn't have seen that person. She shook her head no at the question that Devon had asked. "No, they didn't wear one of those odd crosses." She paused, hesitating until she was sure that Demi was far enough away. "Honestly, the guy kind of looked like a mixture between a Kane and how Demi used to look. In fact, I'm sure I've seen him somewhere..."

She suddenly leaned forward, abandoning her chai tea which was now rather cold as she surfed through news feeds. Niala didn't doubt that Amaranth's father could protect her, and add a pissed off Destiny into the mix? They'd be good. But, it still bothered her that the person looked familiar. After several seconds she stopped, pulling up a picture of Nova. "Him. That's who it was in the vision I saw..." She pulled up some information, with the picture that had been provided from Amaranth's records that she had given Niala permission to access a long time ago. "Says here his name is Nova Kane-King. Son of Nevan Kane and Maximillian King. He used to work for Amaranth, but then took over Shinkai Shigai and made it Velo City. Huh... that'd mean he was related to Seraphina and Sicarius..."

Niala leaned back in her chair, staring at the picture for a moment with a frown. "Well, whatever he wants, Junior's right. I'm more than sure Ghost's got this. And Destiny looked way pissed off, I hope she doesn't blow the island up. I don't want to fix that."

She then looked back to Junior. "I wish I could see if he'd come... I'm curious about that too.", she said in response to him wondering if the skateboard guy would show up.

Cala forced herself to relax as she listened to Niala explain that the person didn't wear a cross like those who had come after her. Junior then further explained that Ghost was a one man wrecking machine and would never allow anything to happen to his daughter. Niala was further correct in what she said about how Destiny wasn't going to let anything happen either considering how pissed off she was.

Cala took a sigh of relief and forced herself to relax. "I'm just glad it's not those wearing people.", she said as she relaxed. Deciding to put her new phone to work she picked it up off of her lap and shot a quick text message to Devon to explain to her it wasn't the cross wearing people. Devon hit her back a few seconds later with a text that said 'good, keep me updated'.

She looked back to Junior and Niala. "New recruit?", she asked curiously.

Ghost, huh? That guy sounded scary. But from the way Jr was laughing and saying don't worry, He wasn't going to do that. Niala said it wasn't one of those cross guys, but someone else...Another Kane? Well...If V'd went over there, he'd have probably gotten his ass kicked.

So, he pushed his mind away from that subject, and let Destiny as well as that ghost guy handle it. V knew better than to bite off more than he could chew. "Some guy with a skateboard? Who's that, Jr?" Matt asked.

Was Jr doing a recruitment drive? It'd be cool to get some new faces in The Company. As he fiddled his hands around in his pockets he was reminded of something that he was going to propose to Cala...
