Special Delivery [Alec Kane, invite only]

This had to be the place. No doubt about it. A tall shining tower in the middle of the city, surrounded by a plot of land that seemed more secure than Fort Knox.

Sliding to a halt on the T-board, the operative hopped off and made his way to the lobby. Stopping at the front desk, he offered the receptionist his most business-like smile and spoke his reasoning for coming: He wished to speak with the leader of this place, this city.

The Loyal Butler had no expression on his face thought this visitor did his best give his best business-like smile. The red eyes seem to stare straight through this individual. This person wanted to see Alec Kane. If any random person could just walk in and see the Boss of Edge just like that, the whole tower would probably be occupied and full up with a line that went around the whole city several times.

"Mr Kane is a very busy man, and you don't have an appointment," responded the Butler. "What is this concerning?"

"I wish to see him regarding a letter I'm to deliver to him on behalf of the SeeD Corporation concerning a former employee of his. My commander would like to have a word with him concerning that employee's actions."

No bullshit, just straight to the point. He was a soldier after all. There was no reason to dilly-dally; he still had duties to get back to.

SeeD. This person had to be talking about Squall, the individual who caused all of that damage in that city of white despite Alec's pleas for him to cease, and the end result being the man being violently murdered.

The Loyal Butler picked up a telephone and pushed 1 button. After a slight pause someone answered. There was brief, muffled conversation in which the Butler said things that one would not recognize. After several moments the Butler put the phone back upon it's receiver, still no expression upon his face as red eyes look back to the individual.

"I've informed Mr. Kane of your request, he has declined. The situation with Mr. Leonheart has been closed, and he sees no reason to revisit or explore it any further. Mr. Kane thanks your corporation for your concern but it is unnecessary. If there will be nothing further please have a nice day."

"Ah, well then." The male patted his pocket that held the letter, and nodded. The Commander had guessed that something like this would happen: the basis of the visit would have to be spoken, regardless if the 'pleasantries' were declined. "Please inform mister.. Kane, was it? Please inform him that the seeD Corporation wishes to extend thier apologies for the actions taken by our former commander, and that we in no way hold your own company responsible for his death."

The operative nodded to the Loyal Butler with a smile, and picked up his T-board. "If Mr. Kane would please, our current commander wishes to have tea with him. If he declines, then it is quite fine. If he chooses to accept, then arrangements can be made. Thank you for your time."

With that the male turned around and exited the lobby, heading back the city limits.
