Late! [Dezzy, Maxi, Company Recruits or Invite]

Fuck!

So much for arriving early. He'd over slept by nearly half a day. With a small struggle, the male untangled himself from the figure that held him; rubies met emeralds with a smile, and reassuring gesture that he would return soon. With further ado, the male was out the door and down the hall of the of he small house he'd managed to secure during his short time in this city. Before he could hit the door, the vocal command came from the floor above: clothing.

A grin crossed his lip; he'd forget his own head if it wasnt attached to his shoulders sometimes. But who cared; he was happy, truely happy for the first time in a long while. He didnt care if the world saw him all his naked glory as he ran down the street; let them be jealous. Genetic perfection had it perks. But Snow's word was law to him, and has hand clasped the doorknob, his mind envisoned the apparel he wanted to wear. As soon as the thought was formed, something obyed, and the cloth coverd his skin, fitting him perfectly: a crips white button down shirt over a pair of khakis, feet shod in what people nowadays called 'sneakers'. Odd. He's much raher have gone barefoot, but the goal of today was to blend into modern society with the hopes of aquiring a job.

There had been flyers posted all over the city of an open recruitment event at the big tower downtown. To Luca, it had been perfect! He had no idea what kind of job the event was for, but it couldnt have been hard; he was older than most nations, and could probably figure out how to operate the company better than the owner.

The door was thrown open, and the young male leapt outside, feet crashing against the pavement as he began his run, making his way towards the building in the distance. It wasnt that far, roughly two miles; an easy run for him. He kept his pace slow, trying not to draw attention to himself as he moved.

Fairly quickly, he came upon the base of the tower, strolling into the lobby.

Remember: smile. Be friendly, and courteous.

"Hiya! I'm here about the job fair. Is it too late to sign up?"

Brown eyes looked up as the doors opened, head tipping to the left. Seems someone was indeed late, judging from his question. A dull expression formed on his face, as he stood up from his chair and made his way over to the receptionist's desk.

"Not quite. You had another few minutes until the deadline." A hand reached behind the desk, plucking up a pen and a sign-up sheet. Holding them out to the youth, he spoke again. "You have any questions before we begin?"

A yawn escaped the angelic female as she seemingly 'appeared' out of thin air next to Maxi. She hadn't teleported, she had simply put her x12 speed into action, causing her to move too fast to be seeable by normal means; one of the main reasons she was able to keep track of everything that went on in the tower - speed, speed, and more speed.

She glanced towards the hallway that led to the large room she had had the recruits stay in the night before, and figured they'd be making their way out soon enough - it had to get boring in there with just the basics to keep oneself occupied with. "So... what sort of insanely extreme torture are you planning on putting them through first?", she asked Maxi, glancing over to him with a mischievous grin upon her face. She was teasing of course; she didn't expect any harm to come to the recruits, but sometimes keeping people scared taught them how to stay on their toes, how to expect the unexpected.

She raised her coffee cup up to her lips and took a sip of the light tan liquid inside; she had so much creamer and sugar in it that it smelled more like candy or hot chocolate than actual coffee - she was going to be hyper later, that was for sure.
