Company Matters [Open to Anyone][NR]

Devon giggled softly, happy to know that her sister wouldn't be the one having to go over and handle the odd person who had suddenly appeared. She knew her sister would eventually end up going out somewhere, having to do one thing or another, but for now, she didn't, and could continue to teach Devon about well... whatever it was her sister decided to teach her next.

So, as she was picked up she lightly wrapped her hands around her sisters head, making sure not to cover her eyes, and exited the room with her.. She waved as she left to those who remained within the office. "Bye bye!"

"Thank you." Ryuukishi offered the angel a nod, and gave another to Flynn before he left. "The job shall be done." Wrath was grabbed, the male stood straight and turned, walking from the office.

An odd thing; hearing the Daione speak to him in his own language. This would certainly be interesting..

Her pocket vibrated again as her phone went off once more. She slipped her hand into her pocket and retrieved the thing, after another moment of reading she typed out a response back using her thumbs once again, and then slipped it back into her pocket: just in time to see everyone beginning to leave. An eyebrow rose as she noticed which two would be apparently handling this new random person who had shown up.

"Well, this will be interesting....", she said softly after the door was shut behind Ryuukishi.

She then turned her attention to her father. "So, Niala's fine to go to Sugure, but apparently Amaranth is pissed off and locking down her island to all but who get prior authorization to be there - or family of course. She booted Himitsu and her dragon thing off of the island under threat of death last night..." Dez reached up, pinching the bridge of her nose. She was sure that her father knew of this most recent attack against her daughter: it was the reason her daughter had her cellphone on her now, so she could very easily be reached.

"Apparently she's upgrading the security of her island, too... might have to travel over there, see if she needs any help soon...."

Alec pressed several more buttons on the desk. A screen appeared nearby, showing the violent murder of Apollos the Vampire on the beach of Sugure by Ghost and... Who was that? He looked like Nevan, his brother. Could that be his kid? Interesting. Alec took several large puffs while watching the Angel kid make tendrils, and Ghost slam the Vampire's head into the ground.

"Looks like he won't be a problem anymore. And that Himi lady, wow. She hid out there all this time? That's longer than she hid here. Where do you think she was? I got people who say they saw her and that dragon thing in one of the homeless shelters, another said an alley or some shit. What's with her, anyway?"

Alec had also beefed up his camera feed on Sugure. Gaining access to her cameras was an easy task, and he'd also had several satellites pointed in that direction as well. Attacks and deaths out there were getting kinda ridiculous, even though he'd committed one of those murders.

Her lightning blue gaze moved to the screen, watching Apollos' violent murder, a satisfied smile spread across her face. "Ah, I was wondering who would end up taking care of that... Ghost and Nova... Hmm. At least Cala won't have to worry about her sister being eaten anymore."

She snorted and shook her head at her father's words. "It wouldn't surprise me. Dunno really what's up with her. All I know is Amaranth got some sort of bad vibe or something that made her stop training her instantly... I guess she expected her to leave compared to staying around the entire time." She unfolded her arms and stuffed her hands into her jean pockets.

"All I know is Amaranth says that ever since that female and her dragon have shown up more and more people have been showing up on her island to cause trouble. It's like they're bad luck or something. So, she wanted them, and everyone not native to the place off the island... even cooked up a nasty hurricane out in the ocean to do it, too. She told me she wasn't going to hide someone who shouldn't be there. Even got pissed off enough to tell them they either bailed or were killed..."

She shook her head slightly and sighed...

Why be a boss when you won't perform as such? Alec shook his head. A leadership figure should stand tall, be an example for those under you. So far all she'd done is ran and hid. She'd even got the opportunity to learn something new, to be able to defend herself, but... even that didn't go so well. Alec didn't see very many living in that city of hers and all of those crazy laws...

"Oh well. She can't come back hiding here either. She still has that spirit thing floating around too, so who knows what's up with that. That, this hacker dude with the costume, and this lady over here in Vegas.... Gotta keep eyes on everything."

Destiny nodded. "Yeah, from what Amaranth's saying she's not welcome back on Sugure no Shima either... and she's making it sound like it's a permanent thing. Hell, she went so far as to text me saying she was thinking of moving the island a bit... give a bit of a distance between herself and that white city. Really dunno where all this anger she's feeling is coming from...."

It was odd, indeed, for Amaranth to have undergone such a drastic change in her temperament. From sweet and helpful to suddenly hard and ice-like to those who weren't her family or friends. Maybe it was all of this stress finally getting to her that was making her this way.... perhaps it was time for her to take a vacation, too. Maybe Niala and Amaranth could go off somewhere else or something.
