| He was wondering how Cala was getting along. There were no explosions or smoke trails on the horizon yet, and he wasn't feeling earthquakes. No news was good news. Cala's crazy ass probably broke him down and sucked him dry by now. There was no telling what a crazy ass female like her would do.
He could have looked at the cameras and saw for himself, but... Alec had the feeling that he probably regret what he saw, and find himself coming down with another migraine. Nah, we'll do this the old fashioned way. Just wait and see. So after waking and having a bite to eat he'd head down into the building, dressed like usual. Grey trench, Kevlar shirt, loose fitting slacks, steel toed boots. Halo above his head, dufflebag at his side.
In his office, he dropped the bag and took a seat in his father's leather recliner behind the desk. He picked up one of the "cigars" rolled from the mountain of weed on his desk, and waited to see how things turned out last night.

| Amaranth didn't waste time as she headed down the steps and to her grandfather's office. She paused outside of the door long enough to reach and grasp the handle and turn the thing. As she stepped inside through the now open door she left it open, knowing Niala was right behind her, probably just getting off of the elevator.
She took a quick glance around her grandfather's office, noticing that no one else seemed to be there yet but herself and her grandfather and then stepped into the room more. Her feet carried her around her grandfather's desk and to him, all before her arms opened and she hugged him: just being there seemed to melt some of the stress she'd been feeling, maybe her mother was right and she did need a vacation. But, given the fact that nothing had yet been done on her island as far as the werewolf problem or the other smaller problems she had going on... she just didn't think it was doable right now.
"Hiya, grandad.", she said with a beaming smile, silver eyes lighting up with happiness.

| Niala saw Amaranth entered and followed a few seconds later. She closed the door and stepped away from it before glancing to her friend in time to see her hugging her grandfather. Niala smiled slightly and then let her gaze wander elsewhere. She still didn't know exactly why Amaranth had dragged her along, even though she'd been planning on heading back to Edge regardless, and was curious to find out.
But, until she did she would remain quiet. Her friend had said she had a feeling, and she trusted her with it, and trusted that whatever was causing this feeling would come about soon enough: even if Amaranth only wanted to have her see exactly what had happened dealing with these rumors that Amaranth had mentioned had her so angry.
She folded her arms across her chest and gained softly, lifting her hand up to cover her mouth as she did so.

| Cala entered into Darkman Tower through the front doors, leading the way for The Vigilante as she did so. Up to the elevator she went, keeping the doors open long enough for him to join her. Once both were inside she whistled a soft tune as the elevator shot upwards, leading them straight up to the 1,000th floor: where Mister Kane's office was located.
Once the elevator doors opened she lead the way down the hall, still whistling her cheery little tune, all while restraining herself from skipping. She didn't want to seem like she was gloating, even if she had not only done what the two before her had failed to do, but she had brought Vigilante there with no harm done to him, and barely any at all to the city. But, she was adult enough not to act like a gloating child.
"He's right through here...", she said to The Vigilante as she opened up Mister Kane's office door. She made a sweeping motion with her hand, indicating for him to enter first, before she would turn and enter in after him, closing the door behind herself after doing so; mismatched gaze picking up on the location of everyone in the room, including the girl she had possibly creeped out in the cafe, Niala.
"Hello again, Mister Kane."

| This was crazy...
He was going to enter Darkman Tower for the first time... why the hell was it called that, anyway? A question that always itched at him. It was like a scratch in the roof of your mouth that would heal if you stopped tonguing it. He'd have to ask and find out...
Was he going to be attacked when he walked in here? Cala said the tiger man went back to some island somewhere, but she never said anything about the big gay looking guy with the armor on. If he was still here, he was surely going to be butthurt. Big V was on caution mode the second he set foot behind that big wall that surrounded this building. He looked up and almost could see most of the place because it was so high. He could see this place from his house, or from anywhere in the city for that matter.
V walked inside with Cala, took an elevator ride all the way up, and walked down the hall with her, listening to that merry tune. She seemed to be in a good mood. Why? Because as soon as she opened the door up here, that big axe comes down like in a cartoon to lop off his head?
Vigilante hesitated for a second when Cala opened the door, allowing him to enter first. He would, after a while of staring at her, still thinking this was possibly a trap. Vigilante was clad in his black armor with a big red "V" on the chest. He was somewhat muscular, not body builder muscular, but toned up, and stood about 5 feet tall. His helmet had no visible facial features, and with his Negation it made supernatural means of looking under his mask impossible. He was dressed head to toe in it, save for the overlapping pair of army pants, complete with a black cape.
2 other girls were in the office that he noticed from the corners of his eyes but didn't look at fully, because what caught his eye was the man sitting behind the desk that had a pile of pot on it. This office reeked of pot. V didn't smoke it, but he didn't mind the smell; he loved the way pot smelled. The man had a ring above his head, and he looked like a young kid. Probably some freakish age thing where he's like, thousands of years old but gets to keep his young looks. That's so cheating...
"So... you must be Alec Kane," said V. "I'm the one that hacked you and stole your files, but I didn't think it was worth getting killed over. I'm sorry, I was wrong. I'm trying to get to the bottom of a mystery of my own, and since there's always a bunch of fre---" Calling them freaks while in their midst probably wouldn't be a good idea. "...A bunch of...extraordinary beings coming and going out of this place I thought somebody in here might know something."
He was still waiting for that surprise attack. Either from Cala behind him, either of these two girls, since they obviously had to be super people too, or even from Alec Kane the big bossman himself.

| Amaranth and Niala were the first ones to enter the office today. He wasn't expecting the grand daughter and his newest Underboss to be showing up here today, but he didn't mind. He returned the hug his grand daughter gave him and rubbed the top of her head.
"Grand baby, Niala. You two showed up before a scheduled meeting, but I don't mind either of you sitting in. I've had a super hero running around Edge, and I think I might get to meet him today. Clear up some matters...
It wasn't long after that was said that the door opened, and there he was. The mysterious kid in the black armor with the V on his chest. It brought a grin to his face. Alec listened to everything he'd said, giving him the time to say everything without interrupting him.
"Alec Kane... that I am. Please, take a seat. You know my name but I don't know yours. What are you called?"
Alec pushed a button on his desk that caused a compartment in the floor to open and a seat to rise out of it. Constructed of a memory foam alloy, it formed itself to the body of the person that sat in it for maximum comfort. There was still no way to get a reading off of this kid; what was he? Perhaps he'd get the chance to learn that now.
"Heh... it's alright if you think we're all freaks... Investigating your own mysteries, eh? Well, maybe I can help out with that... but first, what do you mean 'not worth getting killed over?' I sent a couple of people over to see if you'd want to come have a chat, they weren't supposed to hurt you. Rough you up a little, only if they had to, yeah, but under no circumstances was your life supposed to be in danger. Could you explain?"
Alec brought up another large holographic screen, broadcasting the battle at Murder INC the other day. Maybe something happened that he wasn't seeing, and this kid could explain.

| Amaranth giggled softly as she was patted on the head and then nodded at her grandfather's words. Maybe this would be the answers she needed regarding the rumors she had been hearing about some guy whooping two of her peoples butts while they were in Edge, especially after her grandfather described that it was some sort of superhero that was supposed to be showing up: that sounded about right. She moved herself over to Niala, leaning on the other female who she was almost as tall as at this point, and then watched as Cala and the superhero looking guy walked in. She blinked at his cape, and the glanced to her own before giggling very softly. 'Another cape wearer! Must be getting popular!', she thought to herself. She listened in silence to the guy and her grandfather speak, her silvery gaze moving from one to the other in turn. She was already beginning to put the pieces together, more so when her grandfather made that screen appear that showed what had happened. Her smile slipped into a straight line, and then into a frown. She was already starting to guess what had happened; Flynn and this other guy who was from her island but that she didn't know had gone to do a job for her grandfather under rules not to harm the guy with the V on his chest... and had broken those orders. But, only time would tell if her assumptions were correct or not. Then, something caught her attention which came from Flynn towards the end of the fight on the screen: that rune. Her body stiffened slightly. "Wait a minute... " She unfolded her arms, though remained leaning on Niala and held up her hand allowing her own rune creation abilities to go into affect: a soft glowing blue rune appeared floating above her right hand which was harmless in its current state; a wind rune. "Did the guy with the bow use this on the arrows?" She waited for her question to be answered, a slow tick of agitation starting in her eyebrow, the indication that she was now far more pissed off than she had been, but was trying her hardest not to show it. - Rune Creation/Manipulation:
Name: Rune Creation / Manipulation Power Rank: PC Description: Amaranth has had from a very early age the ability not only to manipulate and use runes but to create her own. It's such a powerful talent that she can create them just by simply touching something, or can even manifest them in the air itself and transfer them to someone else. It's a sudden process that takes less than a second itself - controlled completely by thought. This also gives her the ability to do pretty much anything with the runes and create them for many purposes, and several at once.

| Niala giggled softly and supported Amaranth as her friend leaned on her: the two had become better friends in the few days Niala had ended up spending on the island, so she didn't mind. She stayed silent as well as she watched the person with the suit and the V on his chest enter into the room, closely followed by the female Vampire who had been the beginning of the cause for that very uncomfortable situation she had to witness back in her favorite cafe; so she made it a mental note not to bleed around the female anytime soon, because she didn't want to be the one being licked next.
So, after making that mental note she turned her attention back to Alec and the dude with the V on his chest, listening carefully to their conversation while she tried to piece together what had happened while she was on vacation, while also trying to figure out why Amaranth was so pissed off; not that she could see it by touching Amaranth due to the fact that her hands were currently covered in black gloves, to keep her from accidentally touching someone or something and seeing the impressions off of it. She also began to wonder why exactly it was Cala who had brought this guy in, if the other two had originally volunteered for it.
An eyebrow rose as her curiosity followed, her attention turning to the screen that Alec had made appear which would answer some of her questions she was sure, and which showed the situation that had happened. She then looked to Amaranth and the blue glowing rune she had made appear in her hand. She could only blink, really having nothing to say or add to the conversation, but otherwise curious as to what that rune Amaranth had just made appear was.

| Her unhinged grin returned to her face as she sprawled herself out comfortably on one of the nearby chairs, figuring that despite the fact that as a vampire she really did need to sit, she was far more comfortable doing so than not. Besides, it made her look more /normal/, right?
Her mismatched eyes darted from person to person as she listened to the conversation between everyone. She personally had nothing to add that wouldn't be taken as a snide remark; something along the lines of 'Never send a man to do a woman's job' or some such comment: seeing as she had got V to come back with barely any trouble: minus that rather fun chase he had caused.
She flickered her gaze to Amaranth's rune, noticing the tick in the female's eyebrow. She could guess the girl was far more agitated and possibly pissed off than she was showing, and her unhinged grin remained right in place. She had a feeling that someone was about to be in a lot of trouble when Amaranth returned to her island.
She flickered her attention then to Niala, figuring she'd have to talk to the girl and explain herself: there was definitely an awkward silence between them, even if they had never spoken previously.

| He looked at the seat that came up out of the floor, but he didn't sit down. He saw a movie once where the chair grew arms and held the person sitting in it down. Cala had flashed a grin and said she liked him, but that was probably just to get him where he was now. There was no trust towards anyone in this room right now; he was a visitor here in a new country. "I'd rather stand, thanks."
Alec said it was ok if he thought they were all freaks. He didn't take offense like these two clowns on this screen. Maybe Cala was right when she said Alec wasn't so bad. He even offered to help him out. Questions that he'd been asking since he was in diapers could maybe finally be answered.
"I'm called The Vigilante," he responded to the question he asked about what he was called."You want me to explain? Okay. Those weaklings you sent over there to Murder Inc. tried to KILL me, and WOULD have if I didn't make my move. I recorded this fight and went over it a bunch of times myself back home, for research purposes and so I could adjust my suit to avoid the same mistakes. That big blue fagget there," He pointed to Ryuukishi as he was leaping up onto the roof, and V went to intercept him. "According to my own calculations, if he'd have hit me he probably would have broken me in half. That transforming tiger weirdo there," He pointed at Flynn. "There was something more to those arrows he fired at me. Look at what happened to the building after he hit the big blue fag." He watched the main building explode from within with what looked to be air, fast air, similar to a hurricane or a tornado.
"Yes! That," he responded to the little girl Amaranth, pointing to the blue thing that appeared above her hand. "I couldn't see it all the way because of the camera angle, but that looked like what was in his hand before the big blue fag crashed into him. I dunno what kinda magical crap that is but i'm sure I wouldn't be standing here right now if it hit me. You guys have to be these all-knowing all-powerful super people that can burp on me and blast me a thousand miles away, but under this suit i'm just a human being. Not an ordinary human, but just human, not some transforming freak show or some big male model looking butt lover in a suit of armor. I'm sorry I hacked your files. I even deleted them already. My grandparents would have died if something happened to me, my parents already got killed, and they're still grieving. My dead body next, over hacking some files? That wouldn't make things any better."

| Alec listened to The Vigilante, as he called himself, while looking at him and the screen while he explained things. His intention wasn't to hurt this kid at all, and his previous hunch about him being just a human was correct. Not to say 'just a human' to sound as if he were above him, which he wasn't. Alec didn't consider himself superior to or above anyone. He had the ability to learn just about anything in an instant, but this kid was still young, barely experiencing life, and was able to build something so complicated, so sophisticated... The two couldn't compare.
But how did it get to the point of Flynn and Ryuukishi wanting to kill this kid so quickly? Alec shook his head trying to understand.
"I should be the one apologizing, don't worry about the files. I was actually impressed with the way you went about getting them. I wanted to just talk to you, just as I am now. Those two, they don't even work for me, nor do they live here in Edge. They've given a bad impression of The Company; needless violence and murder isn't what we're about at all. It was NEVER my intention to have you hurt, and the last thing I wanted was for you to have your life at risk. But, you managed to defeat both of them in one move, an impressive feat in itself. I'd like to apologize on their behalf. Tell me, is there anything I can do to rectify this situation? To make up for the traumatic experience."
Alec tried to be as professional about this matter as possible, but he shot a certain glance to Amaranth. Those were people who lived on her island. Alec tried to do them a favor, but they'd gone way over-board. Flynn he could understand was going through a thing because of that whole situation with Demi and Nanalie, but Ryuukishi? He was a Dragon. Vigilante didn't show to have any secret powers or anything of the sort, so Alec assumed that he was primarily a physical fighter, which was pretty much useless against a Dragon, especially one wearing armor at that. Ryuukishi must have known this and decided to 'squash the puny human.' Alec blamed himself for even sending him over there to begin with; he should have done more research. He wouldn't make these sorts of mistakes in the future.

| Amaranth sighed as she listened to Vigilante verify that that was the rune that Flynn had attempted to use against him. She closed her hand around the rune, dispersing it in a harmless very small puff of air, completely different than what it had been in that video. She listened in on the rest of the conversation before looking over to her grandfather as he looked to her; she knew she was going to have to go back to Sugure no Shima and deal with this incident.
She was going to have to deal with a heck of a lot more on top of that already, too.
"I'm.. going to go have a talk with Flynn, and the other guy if he shows up on my island, too...that rune is a wind rune, when combined... well, the side effects are nasty, think F5 tornado nasty.", was all she said, her voice entirely devoid of emotion. She was going to head home and then everyone was going to be a very unhappy camper. She stood up straight, gave Niala a pat on the back of her shoulder and then walked out of her grandfather's office, closing the door softly but firmly behind her.
She took the steps up to the roof, exiting the building....

| Niala blinked several times, eyebrow raising as she continued to listen to the conversation. So, Flynn had tried to kill the guy? I mean, an F5 tornado against a human? Even with that suit of his surely he wouldn't have been able to survive that... Hell, she doubted she'd even survive that, not without her imagination ability, and only if she was quick enough to do so..
Niala shook her head and then wandered over to a chair near Cala's. She wasn't so freaked out by the girl, seeing as she obviously handled this situation in the right way, like it should have been to begin with. She sat herself near Cala, though she didn't sprawl out like the other female was. Arms folded across her chest, hands tucked into her arms to keep herself double safe from accidentally touching anything or anyone: especially the vampire nearby.
She focused her attention back to what was going on instead, listening into the conversation now that she knew what was going on: Flynn and this Ryuukishi male had tried to kill the guy with the V on his chest, despite the Boss's orders not to, and at least one of them had been paid to go snatch the guy up.
"Something told me I shouldn't have gone on vacation. I always regret ignoring that little voice.", she muttered beneath her breath softly.

| Cala continued to watch all of this with that same unhinged grin on her face that was always there. She was amused to put it lightly: the idea that someone had disobeyed Alec's orders, and had attempted to kill instead of capturing. She watched Amaranth walk out and giggled softly: the sound deranged and insane sounding; she was wondering exactly what Amaranth was going to do to Flynn and to the other guy when she got back over there.
She then glanced over as Niala came over and sat down nearby, she tried to tone down her insane grin a little bit, but found herself incapable of doing so: she was just far too amused by the idea of someone who wasn't Demi getting their ass busted, or handed to them, depending on what Amaranth might happen to do to them.
"Well... at least you didn't die, handsome. But, I wonder if those two are going to be so lucky now. Amaranth looked pretty pissed off."
She shifted slightly in her chair, becoming more comfortable as she waited to see what else was going to unfold. After a moment she shifted again, removing her leather jacket and draping it over her legs.

| "F5 tornado? What the hell, man???"
That changed things. Those two freaks didn't even work for Kane, furthermore. They worked for... that little girl? Was she a Boss too? A kid, even younger than he was. Everything wasn't what it seemed to be. In any case, he hoped that girl stuck it to those two losers good.
Alec wanted to fix things by giving him something. He turned to glance some at Cala as the little girl left out, hearing what she'd said, seeing that funny looking grin on her face. Still he wondered why she kept calling him handsome. He thought of asking for a date with her or something along those lines, but that would be lame. Better to try that on his own. No, he could have been killed by those 2 freaks, and was lucky to still be standing here. He wanted something bigger.
"You wanna make things up? Ok then, how about some money? Cash? My grandparents are going broke to take care of me, and they're in danger of losing the house my grandpa built in the Suburbs with his bare hands. It was one of the reasons I built this thing. I'd say nearly being caught in a F5 tornado or something is worth a few dollars, right? You gotta be loaded to be in a big building like this."
Money from these godly people couldn't have been too much to ask for. They probably had cheat codes that let them conjure up money out of thin air anyway.

| Money wasn't really an issue. If that was all he wanted, that was alright. Alec opened the drawer to the right, taking from it a black credit card and a small slider machine. Alec pressed several buttons on the slider machine and slid the black card through it. He returned the slider machine to the drawer, then slid the black card across the desk toward The Vigilante. "There's ten thousand credits on that card, from my own pocket. If that's not enough i'll put more on. I'll even sweeten the pot some more, and offer you the opportunity to come work for me. There are some very lucrative benefits as a Company member, and i'll personally make sure your grandparents will never lose their home. You could even come and live here, in my Tower if you wanted. I know you don't trust us as a human, but if anything happens to you from this moment on, i'll take care of the situation myself. I give you my word. The credits are yours either way."(10k has been added to your account) Having someone with his skill set around would be great. Perhaps one of them could even get the kid to open up and share some things, such as how he built that suit, and what weird ability he had that was dulling out his supernatural abilities. Cala called him handsome, so there was an idea... Would she hear him with all those voices that Malkavians had in their heads? Only one way to find out. Alec looked Cala in her mismatched eyes. Cala...This guy, he actually doesn't seem so bad. Do you like him?... I don't wanna seem like a pimp or any shit like that, but why don't you show him a good time? Make him feel comfortable and all that, if you catch my drift. I'm not expecting you to take off your clothes and bone him, but if that's how you wanna go about it, well...- Telepathy:

| Niala yawned softly, wishing she had a nice big cup of frozen hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream on top and little bits of marshmallows grinded up in the mix; and just like that it came to reality, a large cup just as she had wished for it appeared in her hand, straw and all. She blinked and sat up, popping the straw into her mouth and taking a long pull of the cold frozen hot chocolate drink inside. - Imagination Manifestation:

Meanwhile she looked at Cala strangely, having picked up on her calling the guy with the V on his chest handsome. A soft giggle escaped her and she covered her mouth for a moment before taking another sip of her frozen hot chocolate, feeling the sugar already begin to rush through her veins, making her feel slightly hyper, or at least more-so than she had been previously, and she was now wide awake. She listened to the Boss's words to the Vigilante as she reached up, twirling the pendant on her necklace. She then watched the exchange of the money without comment, doing nothing more than sipping her frozen delightful drink, the drink already a fourth of the way go.

| Cala watched as Mister Kane pulled out the machine and the credit card, obviously adding money onto it, all while listening closely and carefully to what Mister Kane was offering to V. Her grin remained on her face, the idea of V joining them a pleasant one, and she hoped he would really take up the offer: living here was rather nice, nicest place she had stayed in, including the castle that was off in another country.
She threw a sideways glance to Niala as she made what looked to be some sort of frozen chocolate beverage appear, an eyebrow raising at the display of the girls power. So simple... and yet so complex in the fact that she pulled that out of seemingly nowhere.
And then.. there was a new voice in her head, standing out among all of the rest that were nothing more than background noise for the most part: but Mister Kane's voice stuck out plain as day. She blinked once, twice, and then a third time before her grin turned into a smile, a completely sane lovely smile, even if Mister Kane's words made her want to cackle, which she held back from doing.
She turned her mismatched gaze from Mister Kane to V, head tilting slightly, causing a small few lose strands of her purple and black hair to fall down into her face, which she pushed off to the side again, slipping them back behind her ear. "So, handsome. Are you going to stick around? Join us and all that fun stuff? I'd enjoy your company. Maybe we could even hang out sometime...." Despite Mister Kane's telepathic message she meant the words she spoke: there was just something about V that had her interest peaked, and the Malkavian wanted to further feed that interest by getting to know the guy.

| Having ensured that her girls were safely back in the suite that Alec had allowed her to use the last time she was staying in Edge she ventured upstairs, figuring she might as well give him the heads up that she was back in the building encase he didn't already know: and as to why she had returned. As she rode the elevator up she thought over Amaranth's words in her mind: the girl had been pissed off to put it lightly, the ocean which Demi could remember seeing in the distance had been letting off some nasty looking steam, as if the large mass of salt water was beginning to heat up or something.
Amaranth had given her much detail at all; just a warning to grab her girls, have them pack up a decent amount of stuff, and to head to Edge because there were issues that needed handled: and Amaranth had wanted neither her nor her girls involved in any of the impending mess that was to come.
A sigh escaped Demitria as she paused outside of Alec's office, figuring to knock, which she did, before she turned the handle and opened the door. She entered quietly, closing the door behind herself as she took in all of the people currently located on the office: Alec behind his desk, someone in some superhero looking costume standing there, and then Cala sprawled on a chair next to Niala who was drinking what Demitria could guess was frozen hot chocolate - since she knew that hot chocolate was the girls favorite treat.
She raised a brow, returning her attention back to Alec as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Is this a bad time, then?" Her head tilted a bit with her question, and she fell silent, awaiting an answer while remaining near the door.

| Ten grand.
Suddenly nothing really mattered anymore. There would be no more eating bread with jam spread on it, no more scraping by, no more barely making it. Ten grand? That was more money than he could ever even dream of in a lifetime. V picked the card up and looked it over. He felt like he was holding gold. This, and the opportunity to make more, surely. Maybe Cala was right about this guy? Forking over ten grand, just like that. He put the card in his pocket, and his leg felt like it was on fire.
What really grabbed his attention was his offer to come live here in this tower. Who else had their own place at 15 years of age!? Grandma and grandpa wouldn't be in his face 24/7, and they'd have their own space back. He had no idea how Kane was going to make it so they wouldn't lose the house, but casually giving away this kind of money? V wasn't going to question.
The best part about it all had to be the fact that if some super powered sore loser decided to have another go at him he had back-up, either that, or what Cala said afterwards. Money, a job, his own place, sexy crazy looking girl who wasn't trying to use him for geometry finals answers. This was surely one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
When another female walked into the room is when he said "...Okay, i'll join up. Why not. From the stories I was told, you all were just a bunch of super powered high and mighty freaks, but now that I see for myself you're actually not bad. I think maybe...everything that's happened to me so far was leading up to something like this, so yeah...But I hafta go tell my grandparents. You sure they'll be alright? I'd hate to see them leave out of that house after living in it for like 80 years to go rot in some crummy nursing home..."

| With his agreement to become a member of The Company Alec nodded his head. He took a long hit of his "cigar" and exhaled a cloud of green colored smoke that quickly began to fog the office. Listening to him speak, he'd only nod with a grin; as stated before, it was expected that he thought all of them as freaks of nature, but it appeared that he'd bended him into his way of seeing things.
"Your grandparents will have nothing else to worry about. Think of me as a puppeteer of sorts... A phone call here, a button press there, and suddenly the gas, lights and water don't get shut off anymore. Suddenly a random some thousand appears in their accounts every month, to get by on, to enjoy themselves with. I can make this happen, but first I need to make sure you trust me, and I can trust you in return...We'll talk later. For now though, go and talk to your people. Grab up whatever you want from home, when you get back here i'll have someone show you to a suite. Here's an example of one of the rooms look like downstairs."
Alec pressed several buttons and replaced the beating taking place on the screen with one of the 5 star suites down on the 999th floor. As large as your average house, there was a living room, dining room, kitchen, den, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, all equipped with the latest technologies (computers and flat screen TVs) finest furnitures and bedding.
"Cala you've been doing such an outstanding job so far, would you mind going with him on my behalf? Be the voice of The Company?"

| Niala just continued to listen to the exchange of conversation going on while sipping on her frozen hot chocolate, figuring that if anyone needed her to do anything they'd ask. She glanced to Demitria as she suddenly showed up, and just stared at her for a moment. She couldn't imagine why she was here, too. And if she was here, then where was Flynn? Where were the girls for that matter?
She figured Demitria would answer these questions soon enough, and if the girls were here, and she wasn't needed elsewhere, then she would go and see them, maybe hang out for a while... spawn massive cups of frozen hot chocolate for them all to enjoy.
She brought the straw to her lips once more, taking another long pull as she sucked up more of the mostly frozen liquid inside. Annd then... she heard the distinct sound of air being sucked through the straw: she had already downed almost all of the large cup of her favorite treat. She moved the mostly empty cup and held it up in front of her, staring at it, and blinking. She really didn't think she'd been drinking it all that fast. She placed the cup back on her lap and then began to look at everyone again, still waiting to hear why Demitria had randomly shown up.

| Happy Cala was happy. Hearing V agree to join them took her smile to the unhinged grin that was normally on her face. At least she wouldn't have to go chasing him down next time she had to talk; unless of course he enjoyed having her chase him, then she would, because she had to be honest that that chase had been rather fun.
She glanced to Demi as she stood up, reaching out and poking the female on the ear in that sort of sisterly-annoying sort of way. "Cheer up, girl scout, if you frown too much you'll get wrinkles.", she said in a very teasing filled voice, obviously trying to boost Demi's mood in her own twisted sort of way.
She then turned her attention to Alec and nodded several times. "Alright, Mister Kane."
Her mismatched gaze moved to V and she moved towards the door once more while looking to V. "Come on, handsome. Let's go grab your stuff, eh?" She opened the door and walked out, moving to the elevator, figuring he'd follow after her. As she walked down the hallway she slipped her arms back into her black leather jacket, not bothering to zip the thing up.

| Resisting the urge to throw Cala through the wall as she was poked was hard... up until Cala called her girl scout. She snorted. "Girl scout... is that what they're calling people like me these days? Suppose that makes you a Saint then...", she said, teasing back to the other Malkavian.
She glanced over to Niala and her empty cup and chuckled. "Do you even eat actual food? Or do you just suck back all of that sugar and call it a day?"
She figured now was as good a time as any to try and figure out what was going on, and to inform Alec that she'd be staying here with her girls, and probably for a good long while. She reached her hand up, sweeping her hair back and out of her face as she took a seat in the chair that Cala had vacated.
"So... anyone want to tell me what's going on? I'm back in the tower by the way... encase you didn't see me come back with Nanalie and Riley. Supposedly Amaranth thought it was in my sudden best interest, and theirs, for the three of us to vacate the island as fast as possible. Started to look like Hell itself over there when I was leaving, ocean steaming, and that hurricane growing and moving closer to Sugure no Shima. I can only assume it's worse now. I can also only assume that something happened to piss her off while she was here?"

| A boss was a boss, so the how's didn't matter and the why's were obvious. The 'rents were set for life, and he was set to move out and be on his own in the world. Stretch was probably in school, where he should have been at the moment, but this was more important. Besides, having all A's and being an honor student already, he could miss a day or two.
The suite he saw on the screen made him drool a little under his helmet. He was seriously going to have something like that, all to himself to live in? This was just unbelievable.
V knew exactly what he meant when he said trust. Revealing his secret identity to them now didn't really seem to be a big thing anymore, he wasn't honestly going to walk around in the suit all the time. Right? If he was going to be living here, and if he wanted any chance with that crazy looking girl, eventually he was gonna have to open up.
He gave a nod of his head in Alec's direction, and turned to leave again when Cala spoke to him, noticing the appearance of the other female that had walked in. Another hotty. This building seemed to be full of them.
Vigilante was already thinking of the stuff he wanted to pack while following the girl back down the hall.
