Company Matters, Part 3 [Open][NR]

Cala and Vigilante left out. He grinned a little, thinking about the two of them. It would be better to have the guy here, working for him and out of trouble then at the risk of being flattened by a super villain or arrested. Amaranth being as pissed as she was didn't come as a surprise. His bad attitude had rubbed off on her. He brought up a screen with satellite footage over Sugure, seeing the massive hurricane just off in the distance that threatened to wipe it out.

Alec stood from the recliner and went to slip an arm around Demi's shoulders, squeezing her against him somewhat. Thinking about what happened to the girl sometimes still made him a little blurry eyed, and seeing her up and walking around again was a relief. He caught Demi up on what was going on so far. Vigilante sets up scramblers in 3 districts, goes to INC HQ, hacks the computer there, uses that computer to hack the Tower. Alec finds out, asks Flynn and Ryuukishi to go get the guy with as less violence as possible. At this point is when Alec went back to have a seat in the recliner to turn the video on again, allowing Demi to see what happened herself.

"The crazy part about all of this is that I send someone even more insane than you after him next, expecting armageddon or some shit, and she escorts him back here to me on a silver platter without a scratch on him. Now he works for me, is gonna be living here, and I can keep him out of trouble. This should also squash all future confrontations."

Niala giggled at Cala and Demitria's banter back and forth, thinking that a Saint was exactly the opposite of what Cala was: even if she had managed to get her task done without bloodying the guy up, or breaking him. She then blinked as Demitria asked her her question and grinned sheepishly.

"No... I eat food, sometimes. I just really like hot chocolate, and frozen hot chocolate when it's too warm for the hot stuff..."

She watched Cala and V leave, figuring that maybe she had been a little too quick to judge the Malkavian back in that cafe; she didn't seem like such a bad girl. A little crazy, definitely, but not bad at all. Maybe they could become friends or something at some point.

Demitria just shook her head at Niala, thinking she was going to have to keep an eye on the girl as well and ensure she was consuming more than just sweets and junk food. The one armed hug she returned with a smile. She thought of Alec like another father figure, hell, she had known him as long as she had known Destiny, and only knew Maximillian slightly longer. They were all family to her, even Niala, even if she didn't quite know it yet.

She listened carefully to Alec describe everything that had gone down and just shook her head with a sigh as she also released him from the one armed hug. "Wow... so a clusterfuck of epic proportions.", she stated as she watched the video of what had happened over at Murder INC Headquarters. She could only shake her head, saddened by it all.

"That definitely explains part of why Amaranth is upset. Honestly, she's been stressed for a while, and that was probably just the straw that broke the camels back." She pinched the bridge of her nose, thinking about Cala going over there by herself and accomplishing the same task without even having to lay a finger on the guy. "Yeah, I kept getting weird strands of Cala's thoughts in my head, amusement and such. That guy really has her interest, even before you asked her to keep an eye on him. But yeah.... at least she got him here without having to bloody him up, and something good has come from it.."
