Hunter Meets The Hunted (Demi, Nanalie, or Invite by Cross)(Not-Rated)

Well, that was interesting. She couldn't touch Dez, but Ghost could touch her. She figured it had to be a spirit thing, not that she minded, it helped keep her focused. She grinned as Ghost changed his appearance. "Haha! That's how you look in my head!"

She gave a nod to Ghost's words, still not completely one hundred percent sure as to what was going on, but she trusted the pair well enough of course, so she wasn't worried. She did find herself staring at what had been left of that Cross fellow a moment longer, wondering what the man had exactly done to end up looking like some sort of sick spaghetti sauce... But she didn't dwell on it long as she got ready to leave with them.

Destiny moved over to Demi and Ghost, still keeping her lightning blue gaze on her friend: slightly worried that she might disappear or something at any moment. She had brought a few people back to life herself back in the day, but none of them had ever come back like Demi had. They had all come back, just as they'd been when they had died, with the same memories and everything. Hell, they had even been the same species.

But Demi? Demi wasn't even a ghostly version of the vampire she had been. It was as if she had been rebooted back to when she had been human or something. Her lack of some memories spoke volumes... and Dez found herself wondering exactly why she had come back like this. What sort of trauma had happened or gone through her head when she died that had made her forget at least half of the life she had lived?

More importantly, where the fuck were Flynn and Maximillian in all of this?! Surely at least the Malkavian knew what was going on, he had to have seen it all through Demi's eyes... including Demi's horrible and painful death.

But, she stopped dwelling on the thoughts as she stood nearby Ghost and Demi, prepared to leave.
