Meeting between Bosses[Himitsu or Invite][NR]

Amaranth giggled softly at the way Kane described Himitsu; she had indeed in rumors come off as big and scary, but seeing her in person like that? Coughing up blood? That had changed Amaranth's aspect of her a bit; not that she'd let her guard down, or the guard down around her little island home. If that woman was strong enough to rule a city then she was strong enough to order someone into war... and Amaranth's own city just happened to be a heck of a lot closer.

"I just hope she keeps to her word.. and leaves my little island alone.", she said softly, giggling again as her hair was played with.

She then listened to her grandfather begin to describe about Himitsu possibly doing something to Squalls butt and a sudden burst of giggles escaped her. "Do you mean a spanking?", she asked curiously, unable to imagine an adult getting bent over someone's knee.

She turned her gaze back to Squall, wondering if he was going to go out and hunt Himitsu down and kill her or if he was just going to let that disease of hers catch up to her, and kill her slowly and probably painfully.

"Heh..." The male frowned, producing numerous grey colored round and loading them into the weapon. Blue eyes were fixated upon the weapon, even as he listened to Alec. "If I go after her, there will be nothing left to ascend, sir. Her existance will be denied..."

The male fell silent, having finished loading the weapon. A moment later, he removed the Calamity sword from the barrel of the rife, and inspected it. "I understand you wish not to be drawn into this, but I cannot let this abide. Those enslaved will be freeded, and if she stands in my way, she shall be cut down. I will respect your wish that this not be done in Edge, though."

"That's right Grand Baby, a spanking..."

Alec tried to sway his attention from the woman and her city. No one could say that he didn't try to squash this entire situation. But the chips were going to fall, and shit was going to happen regardless of how he felt, or what he said to stop it. Squall was dead set. A sound that resembled a growl came from his throat, leaning his head over upon one of his hands while the elbow was upon the rest of his chair.

"...So be it," Alec said. "You have a genuine dislike for that woman, and the feeling is mutual from what I heard. I guess a clash between you two is inevitable. You do what you must, but my family or Company will not become involved..."

Alec just hoped this didn't backfire upon him in the end. He was ready but not anxious to exterminate an entire army single handed...

Amaranth's rather brilliant mind began to churn; ideas popping off one right after the other. She didn't trust Himitsu enough because she didn't know here; therefore there were many ideas appearing in her head. Ways to protect her little island home some more. She would have to return home soon and get back to work on some of her experiments; and perhaps turn them into guards, unseen to the humans, that would patrol the island just encase something did end up happening.

"Hnn. Maybe I should go home... bring a few of my experiments to life to keep watch of the beaches; just encase. I don't trust that woman, and if he.." she indicated her head to Squall. "... makes her angry, or that large beastie thing of hers angry... she might just come retaliate against me because I'm so close by." It wouldn't be a smart idea; but if Himitsu waited for her to leave the island to attack... well those poor people wouldn't have any sort of defense at all - unless Flynn or Demi got dragged into the situation, and she wanted to avoid that. She'd rather a few experiments that meant nothing to anybody have to handle that than people who actually mattered to someone.
