Questions and Answers [Himitsu, Alec, or Invite][NR]

Amaranth landed on the ground right outside of Darkman Tower; her landing light and delicate. She looked down at her white tank top and shorts, dusting them off encase any dirt or dust had landed on her otherwise bright outfit. Her feet were currently covered with white flats; her red cape over her shoulders and blowing in the breeze, the hood down. She brushed her black hair behind her ears as she looked around.

She was searching for Himitsu, hoping that she could find her before she headed upstairs to go ask her grandfather a hundred and one questions; but so far she hadn't seen her on her flight over. She walked inside after a moment, looking around some more, hoping to see her friend so she could take her upstairs. "Himitsu?", she called out softly before doing the same thing telepathically. "Himitsu, if you're in Darkman Tower can you come to the elevator? It's Amaranth... I want to take you to meet my grandad."

She could only hope that her friend would hear her telepathic summon and wasn't too busy to come to her. She walked over to the elevator, still looking around, footfalls silent as she went....

Angelic Phsyiology:

She had been sitting around in the lobby, halfway waiting for someone to tell her something about Amaranth. She still wanted to train, she actually really, really wanted to train with Amaranth. She heard her name called softly, then a voice was all up in her head, it was Amaranth's voice telling her to go to the elevator. Himitsu's delicate hands closed the magazine she was reading in her boredom, and placed it back on one of the many end tables that were about the lobby. Standing, she pulled the bottom of her black knee length skirt down. She was wearing black leggings and short black boots, up top she was wearing a white tank top.

She walked over to the elevators, a familiar red cape sighted. "Amaranth!" She exclaimed softly, happiness in her tone. She was glad to see her friend, having not talked to her in some amount of time. Coming to stand next to her friend she said, "You said you wanted to introduce me to your grandfather? ... Is he scary? Your mom told me that he ran the city, he must be pretty powerful to keep a city this big in check..." She rocked back and forth on her toes and heels, her hands clasped behind her back. She was slightly nervous and flinched when the elevator doors opened. Stepping inside she looked up at Ama. "I don't know what floor has what on it, so... Help?"

Amaranth entered into the elevator with her and pressed the button for the 1,000th floor. "He's the whole way up at the tipity top! And my grandad's really nice, so there's no need to worry.", she said happily enough. "I have some questions about some stuff that happened recently on my island, and I figure he's likely the one to know the answers."

As the elevator came to a stop on the intended floor she exited, pausing long enough to ensure that Himitsu was behind her. She then led the way down the hallway and to her grandfather's office. She opened the door and stepped inside, leaving it open for Himitsu to enter in after her.

"Grandad? I brought my friend Himitsu with me!~", she said happily, wondering if her grandfather was going to be behind his desk like always. If he was, then she would practically skip her way behind his desk and hug him, as usual, red cape trailing behind herself. "I also have questions.. because of things that have happened in my head and I don't know the why behind it all." She tapped her head as she spoke, her mind more than open for her grandfather to take a look around in it if he wished.

Wow, she had known that the building was tall, but one thousand stories? Wow... That was huge... He was nice? Well... That was a load off of her mind... The elevator ride was surprisingly quick for how tall the building was. "What stuff has been happening on the island?" Amaranth lead her down a hallway and to a door... She walked in and awaited her fate. Would this be interesting? What would Amaranth's grandfather be like? Would he be tall and intimidating, or short with a Nepolean complex? Would he have muscles on top of muscles, or would he have the build of a gangly computer nerd? Maybe he looked like some military commander? She nervously looked up to Amaranth, eyes taking in the room, and if Alec was sitting behind his desk, she'd see him as well. She stepped forward, further into the room and let the door close behind her. "Hello Sir..."

Alec was sitting behind his large desk in the black leather recliner, looking at 3d holographic screens linked to cameras all over Edge City. There was a large holographic globe above the desk, blue in color, full of millions of dots. Each of those dots were moving, and when Alec caused one of the dots to come closer, one could see that it was a screen linked to a camera. He was smoking a "cigar" like usual, but the office wasn't fogged up.

Amaranth and Himitsu came in. The woman was given a chance to start over, and as an Angel at that. The girl would probably need some guidance. He rubbed his silver eyes with a thumb and index finger before flicking ashes in the tray and taking another long drag. Alec hugged Amaranth as usual when she visited, responded to Himitsu with a hello.

"Things in your head? What do you mean?"

Things had happened in his own head recently. Memories that weren't his, memories of being this bad ass ninja. Memories of being in love with Demi? ~__~ Alec didn't think she was going through the same thing...

"Well, grandad. This boy named Holeman came out of the sky earlier. Or wait.. let me start from the beginning. For a week I've had dreams that I'm someone else..." She stepped back over to Himitsu, smiling. "I was me and yet I wasn't. I was cutting up serial killers into lunch meat and stuff, first in this village in the desert, then in this village... he called Konoha? Anyway, Holeman was my best friend in my dreams..."

She tilted her head, thinking about the rest. "So, earlier he comes falling out of the sky, like he was straight from my dream or something. I saw it and went to find out who it was... then I started to get all of these memories of this person I was in that village.. her name was Mitsukai. And all of these strange feelings for Holeman... as well as memories of myself and him going on all of these adventures and stuff..."

She was staring at her feet towards the end of the sentence, frowning. She was still confused about some of it - such as why Holeman was in this dimension instead of his own, among other things like that. "But, I don't understand why he's here...Not that I mind, I mean... I feel like he's my best friend and stuff, or more than that really..., but it's all very confusing."

She smiled at his hello and nervously looked around the room, awkwardly standing off to the side as she fidgeted with her bottom of her white tank top. She listened quietly as her friend talked about killing serial killers in some desert village, and how she was her, but she was someone else at the same time, and she was in this place called Konoha, a village.... Then this guy named Holeman fell from the sky and she started getting a bunch of memories about the person she had been in her dreams, and the person's name had been Mitsukai... And Mitsukai had some sort of feelings towards Holeman and how she had been on adventures with the person...

Yeap. She was just going to awkwardly stand there, trying to seem like she wasn't there, because to her, this seemed like something she shouldn't have been hearing... Or maybe it was just the fact that she felt like she was intruding on her friend's family time... All in all Himi's life had been confusing as well recently, having been fourteen and not remembering any of her life after, and how she had seen herself at twenty-seven years old, but how this guy had turned her back into a fourteen year old, and her own best friend, Satoshi, having been dead for so long... and she was an angel and still trying to learn about her own powers... And then the island had moved and she got lost in Edge City and got into this company recruitment event, and now... Now this, Amaranth was confused because of dreams becoming realities and people falling from the sky. 

The young half angel couldn't help but think to herself, Why is life so complicated?

"Holeman...The kid with the... the thing on his head, covering his eyes, right? The blind kid, hes got... some kinda radar in his head, yeah?"

Alec rubbed his eyes and leaned back in his recliner. Holeman was here too? Alec remembered seeing the little blind kid that rode around on clouds in Spook's memories. The way he understood it, The kid used to live in a desert village, and was best friends with a girl named Mitsukai...who was in many ways identical to Amaranth. Mitsukai was related to the Boss, or "Kage" of the village, and a situation came up between the Kage and Holeman. The Holeman clan left the desert and moved to Konoha, home of Aisling and Spook.

"Maybe I should explain...There's a dimension parallel to this one, where there's other versions of us. In that dimension we're all ninjas. The Gods in that dimension decided to re-write time and reality there, and I managed to catch wind beforehand. I talked to the "me" over there and convinced him to come here, his name is Spook. I believe...once upon a time he taught Mitsukai how to fight, right?... I left a door open and he came through. When he did, that's when I started having these visions like you...Spook was in love with the Boss of Konoha, Aisling, and here she's Demi. She went through the same thing you did, and now she's a fusion of the two. It seems like now it's happening to you...So you're Mitsukai. I wonder how many other people managed to make it through that doorway?"

He'd have to watch the cameras now for sightings of a kid riding a cloud. He also expected the sightings of possibly more ninjas from that dead place. He didn't mind, so long as they minded the laws.

Himitsu had to be feeling strange since she didn't really know anyone, or would really have any idea what was being talked about. Alec scratched his head and thought of something to say to her that would possibly put her at ease.

"Himitsu I understand you must have some questions about being an Angel, some guidance if you will. I'll also have to show one of my daughters a few thing too, since she underwent a procedure similar to yours, so when you have time, come and see me, alright? I'll have everyone expect you so you can come right in. No rush, come whenever you want to, ok?"

Amaranth nodded several times over again, surprised that her grandfather knew who she was speaking about. That made her slightly more confused - at least until he began to explain about other dimensions, and Spook, who she could very well remember, Aisling as well. A giggle suddenly escaped her.

"So, Spook is here whose another version of you... Demi is Aisling just like I'm Mitsukai... and now Holeman's here as well." Another giggle escaped her. This was all very amusing. And then her cellphone in her shorts pocket was going off. She reached in and removed it, pressing play on the video message she had received... "Um. Grandad... Nanalie's here too... if this is her." She turned the phone around, showing a young female with a full body tattoo covering her to her grandfather. "See?" When the video finished she shoved her cellphone back into her pocket.

"Himitsu, if you need me I'll be around.. here..." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a second phone which she handed to Himi. "My number's in there, I'll call you if anything else happens, and you can call me if you need anything." She looked to her grandfather. "I'm going to go try and find Holeman, let him know that Nanalie's here as is Spook... and that Demi's Aisling.." She gave her grandfather one last hug and then turned, leaving the office.

A... Another dimension? Like a parallel dimension? Ninja copies of themselves? Was there a copy of herself in that dimension? What was she like? What powers did she have there? The Demi lady that was also Aisling was in love with someone that was actually Amaranth's grandfather? Holy confusing indeed... Then she was being spoken to.

"Himitsu I understand you must have some questions about being an Angel, some guidance if you will. I'll also have to show one of my daughters a few thing too, since she underwent a procedure similar to yours, so when you have time, come and see me, alright? I'll have everyone expect you so you can come right in. No rush, come whenever you want to, ok?"


She blinked several in surprise that she was being addressed, and actually offered guidance by this man that she assumed was amazingly powerful and smart... She... She felt honoured really. And then Ama was handing her a cellphone that had her number in it... Good, good... Now she wouldn't have to wonder around like a complete idiot and get lost like she had when she had first come to Edge City. She smiled at Amaranth and waved her a goodbye, after she left Himi turned and glanced up at Alec before looking at the ground again. "That sounds like a great idea... I'd be honoured sir."
