| Devon had spent the past several days very busy in the R&D department. Three tables had been laid out with what had – up until nearly an hour ago – resembled nothing but three separate skinless robots. By now they had arms, legs, and were in body suits. They were anatomically correct down to the smallest detail, making them all three look very human like. Well, expect for the fact that the moment their faces were each opened – straight up the center. This showed their 'brain' which wasn't really a brain at all but a series of hard-drives and memory boards. Rest at the top of the table by each one of their heads was a helmet with a visor on it – each helmet had a different number on it: 1, 2, and 3.
Devon was currently bent over the robot whose helmet had a 2 on it. The red headed female had a set of glasses on with a magnifying function that was allowing her to see the small little sockets and circuits. In her right hand was a set of rubber gripped tweezers that she was currently using to shift around several tiny wires.
After another shift of a wire Devon grabbed a USB wire and plugged it straight into what was the 'eye socket' of the robot she had been working on – the other end was connected to a laptop of another nearby table. After the USB cord was connected she turned her attention on to the computer, entered in several key strokes, and started the download of information into the robot – watching it carefully.
She glanced over to her clock on the wall: she was waiting for Amaranth to show up – she had showed interest in wanting to help, plus both girls were roughly the same age, so they had become fast friends.

| Amaranth walked into the tower, headphones being pulled off of her ears and left to dangle around her neck even as her music kept blaring from them. She walked over to the elevator, entered it, and pressed the button that would take her not to the usual floor she went to, but to the 999th floor. The doors closed, and thought she knew that the elevator was moving it barely felt like it. She hummed along with the lyrics of her song, thinking of how accurate they sounded to the current situation going on. ”Now we've got problems and I don't think we can solve 'em. You made a really deep cut. And baby, now we've got bad blood, hey! Band-aids don't fix bullet holes. You say sorry just for show. You live like that, you live with ghosts. You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go. Band-aids don't fix bullet holes. You say sorry just for show. You live like that, you live with ghosts. If you love like that, blood runs cold.~”
She was off the elevator at this point and walking down the hall to the R&D department where she knew Devon was likely still working. She came to a stop outside of the glass doors, pausing long enough to open them, before walking in – her red hooded cape swooshing around her black combat boots. ”Devon~ You look like you're doing brain surgery...”, Amaranth commented as she walked over to the robot she was working on.
Even though the faces were 'open' she could still see that they each resembled Devon – like a set of robotic triplets. ”Er, why'd you make them to look like you?”

| Troubling. Velo City was wiped out by an alien kid. The fact that he was just a kid was the troubling part. If he grew up, he was just going to get stronger. Jr didn't really want to dirty his hands fighting this kid, he'd rather the kid just join up. Then he could figure out how to keep him separate from Vigilante and Ka'lara. But what if he said no? The outcome was going to be ugly.
Amaranth came over to the tower earlier. She was a Boss, so he thought she should be informed on everything; the alien and also the Templars. Walking down one flight of stairs, Jr entered R&D. Amaranth hadn't seen him since he'd "grown up" so to speak, and neither had Devon for that matter. Taller than he once was, he was still in his pajamas of a Wife beater and knee length shorts which showed off a higher muscle tone. His white hair hung messily in his face.
"Good of you to show up, Niece, there's some things you need to know," Jr would say with a voice that was deeper than it used to be. Jr noticed that Devon had what looked like 3 clones of her. To this he just scratched his head...

| Devon looked up as Amaranth entered and then turned her attention back to the computer screen of the laptop. The downloaded programing was almost finished, but she still had to work on number 3 when she was done – so she was far from finished. At Amaranth's question she grinned. “I made several faces for them as I was creating them – the more generic ones are over on the shelves in that cabinet behind you. Kind of got tired of them looking like the life sized recreation of Barbie though. So, I made a face that made them look like me except their hair isn't as brightly red as mine...”
She grinned suddenly. “Or, if you don't believe that... then I'm building an army of robotic minions to take over the world... The latter seems like a lot of hard work though.”
She then glanced over as someone else walked in. His words stated clearly who he was: Junior. The boss man. Looking far older then he had the last time she saw him. And also looking like he had just gotten out of bed. “There's coffee and tea over on my desk if you need some caffeine... You look like you got woken up.” The computer beeped and her attention turned back towards it. She disconnected the USB cord from the computer and then from the robots 'eye socket' before carefully closing the face back up: the crack vanishing entirely from sight.

| Amaranth chuckled at Devon's words: while Devon had the smarts to build an army of robots she didn't have the personality to come across as an evil genius bent on world domination – unless of course she had hid it well through all of these years. As the doors opened again she turned her attention away from Devon and onto... Uncle Junior? She was so used to him looking young and constantly sleeping that her head tilted a bit and brows furrowed. ”Not to sound like a Peter Pan reject or anything.. but I'm never growing up. So if that's what you came here to tell me, no.”, she said, sticking her tongue out playfully.
She took a few steps away from the Devon robot, eyeing it wearily, before looking back towards her uncle. ”So, seriously. What's up? I planned on coming over here for some vacation time after... well. Stuff happened. Why do I have a feeling though that you're about to tell me the world's gonna end or something?”

| "No thanks, Devon... probably headed back to bed soon anyways," said Jr, shaking his head with a hand up to her offer of coffee or tea. Devon was always down here building something, so it came as no surprise that she'd built androids that looked like her.
Amaranth joked about peter pan and growing up, but Jr wasn't really in a joking mood, and his grim expression didn't change. She went on further to say that he was going to tell her the world was ending... and if the wrong people got their hands on one of those pieces of eden, things could rightly come to that, and no one would be able to do anything about it, even with the God-like powers that most of them had.
"The end of the world... it's funny you should mention that..."Jr replied to Amaranth. "I'll start at the beginning... Those cross wearing people that kidnapped Cala? They're called Templars. They have a big organization with their fingers into some of everything. Politics, government, everything... They're starting to show their faces again. Seems a long time ago, they were at war with another band of folk called Assassins. The Templars want to rule the world, and the Assassins aimed to keep the freedom.
"Seems there's these artifacts all around the world, called Pieces of Eden. They give their user the power to... well, do anything, pretty much. The Assassins managed to get a hold of some, and push back the Templars, but the Assassins were betrayed by one of their own. All of them were wiped out, except one girl, who happens to be upstairs in the office right now. Name's Jayr... She and Grandpa Darkman have history. She managed to escape the betrayal with one of the pieces of Eden, and it's locked up in this tower.
"There's other pieces all over the world, and the Templars are looking for them. One of them is on your island, Amaranth. So be prepared if some shady looking people rocking crosses suddenly show up over there, claiming to be exploring old ruins or some shit... Dad has decided to help Jayr. He's upstairs too; he recently got back from exploring the new areas on Sunset. Grandpa gave him a chain and it did something to him, he looks like he did when he was a teenager now." it was a lot to take in, he knew, but this wasn't the end of it...

| Devon paused, thinking about Junior's comment about going back to bed – she glanced at the clock on the wall again and frowned. When was the last time she had gotten any sleep? She was constantly sucking back caffeine in her attempt to stay awake and focused, but eventually she was going to need actual sleep. Preferably before her sister, Cala, realized she hadn't gotten a proper nights worth of sleep in over three days due to her little obsession over her andriods.
While she worked she listened quietly to Junior's explanation to Amaranth: his grim look she had saw when she glanced over at him had spoken volumes on the situation at hand. A frown of her own formed on her face the more she listened: the people who had attacked her sister were a group who were after powerful artifacts with powers great enough to really bring about the end of the world. It was why her sister had been tortured, then... and it made her groan. Would Cala go after them if she knew? Would she join up with this Assassin who was in Junior's office?
Devon threw down her tweezers which clanged off of the metal table and pinched the bridge of her nose. “I pray to god my sister doesn't join up with that chick... I know the situation is bad, but that's the last thing my nerves can take... she's been through enough shit as it is. Her doing dangerous things never seems to end well for her”, Devon said with a sigh.

| Amaranth saw Junior's grim look and a brow raised: whatever was wrong was apparently some serious stuff. She listened as he launched into his explanation about Templar's, and the Pieces of Eden, and the Assassin that was upstairs in his office – the last of her order due to an inside job of treachery and betrayal. It was an interesting story, but a bit frightening. These Pieces of Eden sounded like the sort of item that no one should have: power greater then even that that Niala wielded. Amaranths' smile slipped off of her face and she sighed: apparently it was time to be an adult again, even though her intentions had been to take a nice vacation and get a chance to act like the child – or teenager at least – that she still was.
”Ugh.. just as I'm getting out of this funk over that crap my cousin pulled, too.” She reached up, rubbing her temples and feeling the onset of a headache. ”One of these things is on my island? Where, exactly? And how did it get there in the first place?”
She glanced over to Devon, hearing her comment and completely understanding her friend's frustration. Cala had been through a lot of hell – including the things that happened to the girl even before Amaranth was born: when Cala had been tortured by the bastard who sired her. It seemed like there was a dark cloud following the girl – some sort of curse of bad luck or something – and Amaranth didn't blame Devon for suddenly being worried. This was just the sort of situation that Cala would run head first into, especially since the Templar's had kidnapped and tortured her. ”Don't worry Devon.. I'll help you hold down and hog tie your sister if she tries to do anything stupid.”
She then turned her focus back onto Junior. ”Also, what else is going on? Bad things never seem to come alone... so something else has to be going on too, I'm sure of it.”

| "I'm not letting Cala get involved in this. Like I said, dad is gonna be on the front lines of this one, and my grandpa has a lot to do with this too, so I imagine he's gonna be poking around as well. If I have to, i'll also step in and handle things personally. Cala's been through enough," Jr said in response to Devon's worries of her sister being involved in another crazy episode.
Jr leaned on the desk behind him, moving some of his hair out of his red eyes. "As far as where this thing is Amaranth, I don't know. But these things are as old as dirt, literally. That means it was there before the island was formed. What was right there before your mother made that island? You might want to look there. Assassins from way back in the day probably hid it there to keep it out of Templar hands. These things let people do most anything. Maybe they knew one day an island would be built around the place. A perfect hiding spot..."
She asked was there more trouble, and yes, there was definitely more trouble. "Now, as far as the something else you mentioned... That alien kid is back at it. The one who fought Vigilante and Ka'lara, and beat up that guy on your beach?... He just wiped out Velo City. Totally leveled the place, by himself. The kid just seems to keep getting stronger... On top of being able to turn red and multiply his strength, and being able to turn into a giant monkey, he can now turn gold and raise his powers even higher, way higher if he's able to take out a whole city in one shot. If I have to bet, he's gonna be heading back this way soon. Be on the look out. I'm gonna try to talk some sense into the kid, get him to join up. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's better than getting into some crazy battle with him that ends up tearing half of Edge down..."

| Devon nodded to Junior's words, glad to hear that he would ensure her sister was kept out of things. Devon knew Cala likely wouldn't listen to reason when it came from Devon herself, but she respected Junior enough to listen to him. It was enough to have Devon relaxing a bit more – or as much as someone could after what she had just heard – and she focused her attention back onto The Trinity as she was calling her android clones.
She picked up the tweezers she had tossed and got back to work. She moved over to the third one and got to re-arranging some wires before she hooked this one up to the computer next: still listening to the conversation going on while she did so. The download started, as information was programmed into this next android with the number 3 on her helmet.

| Amaranth thought hard, back to the days where her mother had spent nearly a week forming and shaping the island that was now Sunset Isle. It had been far smaller back then, and she could still picture it in her mind's eye how it used to look. She knew her mother had called forth old ruins out of the sea and used them as the base of the island, but what had it been again that was there? …Ah, she remembered now. ”Mom called an old looking temple out of the ocean and built the island around and on that. I'm assuming that's likely what is in the belly of the island – where all that weird magic is that makes the monsters and stuff I can control, plus what keeps the temperature stable and stuff unless I go rage-mode.” Amaranth got a thoughtful look then. ”I'll have to look, but if it is there then it's likely best it remains there. There's no way to humanly, technologically, or magically, get into the bowels of the island without my permission. I'm sure my mom and dad could get in there, but they'd have no reason to...” With that thought in mind she pulled out her phone and shot a quick text to her island where it would appear in the laboratory for her mother – and her father if he was nearby – to see explaining about the cross people and them being bad news.
At the rest of what Junior said she frowned: Velo was destroyed? Was Maxi alive? Was Nova? Where any of the citizens? ”What about the civilians that were over there? Maxi and Nova? They still alive?” Would anyone show up on her island seeking refuge? She didn't mind the civilians, but she highly doubted her dad or mom was going to be anywhere near okay with Nova or Maxi showing up over there – it'd turn into a violent fight, that much she knew. Her mom was still in crazy mode over that situation...
”Eh, I hope you can reason with this kid.... I'd hate to see what would happen if great grandad got angry at him for destroying parts of Edge. Or my dad if he came over there and tried to start trouble on Sunset Isle...”

| Jr never really knew how Dez came up with that island, or even that she could do such a thing; he never thought to ask. Back in those days he was too content with laying around on the beach to stuff his face with chips and stare at half naked wet girls. She said there was no way anyone could get down there without her letting them in, so that piece was secured, just the same as the one here in the tower. "Good. You might want to go down in there and make sure it's there, just to be on the safe side."
She asked if there were any survivors. Jr didn't know. He was interested to know if that girl that knocked him through that building was still among the living. As far as Maxi and Nova went, the look on his face made it obvious that he didn't care. "I don't know yet about survivors. You should keep your eyes open for those too, i'm sure some will come this way looking for refuge. Those other two... If they come anywhere, i'm sure they'll come here first. Going over there with your mom and Ghost would be bad for their health."
Jr turned and made for the door to R&D. "If that kid happens to show up anywhere in these parts again, leave him to me or dad. Don't try to fight him, it'll just end bad. Call me if you run into anything you can't handle." he walked through the doors and toward the stairwell.
It was up on the roof walking back towards the house to get some more Z's that a thought crossed his mind. He thought of Yata, and how Templars as well as that Alien kid were still making moves. Templars had kidnapped and tortured Cala, and turned her back human, while that Alien beat up a citizen, and had been in fights twice with Vigilante and Cala. Jr didn't want to see anything bad happen to him, so while Amaranth was here, he thought of having him learn a speed technique that Amaranth learned in the other world as Mitsukai, if Amaranth would be willing to learn. Jr took out his Company Cellphone to type out 2 quick texts.
To: Amaranth
Niece, going to send my new recruit to you. He's only human, worried about what might happen to him if Templars or Alien kid get their hands on him? Mind showing him your Swift technique? We need everyone prepared. Will owe you one
-Uncle Jr
To Misaki:
Yata, boss man here. Shit getting real in the streets. Secret organization on the move, powerful artifact hidden in the tower, they want it, no telling what they might do to get it. Alien kid blew up Velo City, could be heading back this way. Come see me for more details. Niece is in R&D, go learn a speed technique from her. Could save the ass one day.
-Boss man Jr dude
By then, he was walking up the stairs to the porch of the house and heading back inside, towards the bedroom, to doze back off...

| He was rolling through the city, tricking around as usual. He occasionally bounced at Zero Sum, but he was mostly relaxing, chilling out in his suite, stuffing his face, watching movies and cartoons. His people still hadn't noticed he was gone, even with it being a while now since he'd left. Fuck them. He was better off. His phone vibrated and made a ding sound, telling him he had a text. "Look out, new message," he said, pulling out his phone with a grin, hoping it was from a girl. Please let it be from a girl... no, it was from the boss.
-Boss man Jr dudeSecret organization? Powerful artifact? What the fuck? it made Yata kick the backside of his board on the pavement and brake to a stop to make sure he was reading this right. A secret organization wanted a powerful artifact that was hidden in Darkman Tower, and there was no telling what they'd do to get it? The alien kid that Vigilante and that ninja girl were fighting blew up Velo City?... Was the kid that strong? Yata swiped over a couple of pages on his phone to the news feed, to see that indeed Velo had been leveled by what they called "mysterious circumstances." Yet this all sounded exciting to Yata. Jr said to go meet his niece in the R&D department to learn a speed technique? Yata was all about learning new stuff. He kicked off, changing directions to head back towards the tower, tricking along the way like usual. The gates opened and he rolled to the lobby, kicking his board up into his arms. After a quick elevator ride, Yata was stepping out onto the 999th floor. He walked inside to see a red haired girl that had 3 other girls that looked like her, and the girl with the red hood that had to be Jr dude's niece. "Hey, uh... I was asked to come here to see the Jr dude's niece? Said things were getting crazy and that I should learn a speed move..." Yata said, holding his trick board in his left arm.

| Ugh. Dangerous artifacts, dangerous aliens, entire cities being wiped out of the map and leveled in one final blow. It was things like this that made Devon quite glad she had a nice and safe job here in the R&D department. She had no problem at all running support: she preferred it compared to actually getting her hands dirty. She felt far more useful building interesting and helpful devices then attempting to go out there and participate in the fighting. Her mind was her weapon, her science her tool, and she was good at using both.
“Hm. Perhaps I should get back to working on some of my other inventions... it sounds like everything is going to end up pretty tense.”
Junior had left, and yet the doors were opened again as another individual stepped in. She had seen him from time to time around the building but hadn't really spent much time with him. “Hello, there. I'm Devon.. and you're looking for her..” She pointed towards Amaranth.

| ”I'll make sure I check and see if it's there. Probably going to tighten security up on the island too.”, she commented before her Uncle Junior left. Amaranth then nodded in agreement to Devon's statement: more then willing to help the other female out – Amaranth preferred fighting, but she also felt a certain draw towards science as well. Though, in truth Amaranth preferred working with DNA and experiments more so then robots and toys. Amaranth felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and pulled it out to see a text from Junior; he was asking her to teach someone else her Swift ability since it was getting so dangerous out - she didn't mind. Another individual arrived, this one with a skateboard, and spoke of how Junior had sent him to find his niece, and learn a speed technique off of her. Amaranth waved when Devon pointed towards her. ”I'm Amaranth, Junior's niece. Junior wants me to teach you my Swift Release; it allows me, and anyone else who knows it, to move as fast as a pure blooded angel.” Amaranth of course had no issues with teaching him the technique: if Junior wanted him to learn it then this guy obviously could be trusted with it. Amaranth didn't often use this technique; she had little to no reason to move as fast as some of the other members of her family and she was pretty speedy herself. But, it was a trump card that she liked knowing all the same – just in case a situation were to ever come up that she needed it. Amaranth coated herself in chakra and grinned. ”I'll show you...” At this words she was gone, moving as fast that her afterimage still spoke then she ran three laps around the large room in less then a second. She came to a stop about six feet from the guy; still grinning. Because her chakra looked like rose petals they were everywhere in the room; falling and fading away before they hit the ground. ”Oh and uh... no, you won't leave behind rose petals like I do. My chakra is kind of funny; it looks like that when I use it. That's why I was called the Desert Rose in the other world.”- Swift Release:
Name: Swift Release: Movement Canon/Custom: Canon Type: Supplementary Element: / Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu OR Kenjutsu OR Weapons Tech OR Kyujutsu Description: This is essentially an advanced jutsu that can be used to move at virtually instantaneous speed, (+25, without the danger of death) granting the user an advantage over opponents with more strength than speed, such as users of Chakra Enhanced Strength. This nature therefore renders the user invulnerable against most Taijutsu.

| The girl with the red hair introduced herself as Devon, and Yata nodded his head. Amaranth, Junior's niece, the girl with the red hood, introduced herself next. She said her ability, Swift Release, would allow him to move as fast as a pure blooded angel. He found that hard to believe, until she said she'd show him, and then she was gone. Or was she? She was still standing there, but something was moving with blinding speed around the room.
When she stopped, the "shadow" of her disappeared, and there were red petals all around them. Yata looked around and then to her in confusion. "...Other world?" he asked. "Chakra?..." Maybe there was something that they weren't telling him. Had they visited another world? Well, there was some alien roaming around now, getting into fights and blowing up cities, so it wasn't that hard to believe anymore.
Yata continued to look around, unbelieving but excited that he was about to be able to move that fast. With that kind of speed, no one would be able to catch him if things got bad. He planned to make this his special move, sort of like the kid in black with the blue ball thing back on the island. It would only be used in drastic circumstances. Using that sort of speed all the time probably had nasty drawbacks...

| Devon grinned and watched as Amaranth all but disappeared – leaving behind an after image. It was always cool to see such a neat power used even if she had no intentions of ever attempting to gain said power herself. She turned her focus back onto her robots and then wandered over to the cabinet across the room. She unlocked it, opened it, and began to dig through a metal case that seemed to house what would resemble faces. These were the other ones she had created for her robots: generic and plain and different from her own.
She pulled out several and walked back over to her robots. She paused by number one and began to unscrew the face plate and replace the other one, giving the two time to talk and Amaranth time to teach him, without interrupting.

| Amaranth tilted her head a bit; surprised he hadn't heard about their trip to the other world, and instantly understanding the confusion. “Ah, you must've not been around for that. There's other dimensions out there, and some of them are mirror images of ours, while others are different. There's even different versions of us in them. One of them was a world filled with ninja who used stuff called Chakra – but, it'd be likely referred to as Chi or Magic here. Through using Chakra they could make different things happen; like when I coated myself in my own Chakra so increase my speed. Or, I could do something like this...” She held out her palm and using Chakra created a small, cool temperature, ball of fire in it – a simple jutsu meant for starting fires. She closed her hand around it and the fire harmlessly disappeared.
”Some of my family can use Chakra too because they ended up in that world with me. That's where Makkura came from actually – when my grandad got tired of the way things were run in the other world he brought us all back here, and the shinobi village with him. There's another ninja village from that world around here too called Konoha. It's run by a friend we met in that world; and there's another version of my grandad living there whose called Spook. Spook is the one who taught me how to fight...” She paused then, remember something important.
”I'm gonna assume your a physical fighter; so Swift Release won't tire you out as quickly as it would someone whose not used to putting a lot of strain on their body. But, if you use it for too long, say more then 5 or so minutes? It'd probably start doing some damage – you might not feel it right away, but you'd definitely be sore afterward. I don't like to use it unless I have to – I prefer just relying on my gunscythe. But, it's a useful ability to have just in case. You might want to practice somewhere safe – it's a bit difficult to control all of that speed suddenly like that, but all you have to do is focus inside of yourself, image yourself coated in a thin layer of air – it's not really air but the analogy helps. If you focus enough it'll happen; and your speed will be increased. It might take a few tries; I spent nearly three days trying to learn it before I finally managed it.”

| Other dimensions and worlds, with other versions of themselves. Was there even another version of him out there somewhere? Another Misaki Yata? Maybe that wouldn't be his name somewhere else. Amaranth spoke of a world of Ninjas. It made sense, since the last time he saw the dad Kane he looked like a ninja, and the guy in black with the monkey with him looked like one too. Chakra there would be defined as energy here, from the description she gave. She said she coated herself in it to move as fast as she did, and as an example she formed a fireball in her hand, something he himself could now do.
Mamaranth said that Makkura - that dark place on the horizon - was from that world, and when dad Kane got tired of being over there he came back here, and brought the whole village with him. Yata wasn't going to ask how. She said there was also another village from that world called Konoha, and that another version of dad Kane lived there, someone named Spook. He'd taught her how to fight.
Since Yata knew martial arts, she said Swift wasn't going to wear him out as quickly as someone ordinary, but after 5 minutes it was going to start taking it's toll. That was fine; 5 minutes would be more than enough time to do what he had to do then vacate the scene. She said to practice somewhere safe, to "image yourself coated in a thin layer of air," and that it took her a while to master using it. Yata had already began concentrating there and then. Called a "fighting genius" by several teachers in his martial arts school, Yata could learn things that came to fighting and evading relatively quick.
He was suddenly on the other side of the lab, sliding to a stop before he smashed against a wall, his sneakers squeaking on the floor. He was suddenly on the other side of the lab, again sliding to a stop before he went through the window to fall 999 stories and become a red stain on the pavement below. Then, he was back where he started near Amaranth, stumbling before falling down. "Oww, haha," he said, turning over onto his back with squinted eyes and a grin. "Its gonna be a while before I get the hang of using that, heheh..."

| Devon looked up, still in the midst of changing the face plate of one of her robots. Yata put the same move into play that Amaranth had just used and zoomed around the room too fast for Devon to see. Devon just shook her head with a grin. “You speedy people... I think I'll stick to my robots...”, she said with a chuckle. Devon could fight of course – especially with the nanoids making her stronger and faster – but she preferred just doing things this way.
When she saw Yata stumble and fall she didn't laugh, and simply looked over in concern.

| Amaranth watched him use Swift Release to zoom around the room – stopping before he broke through the window though Amaranth had been braced to go after him had he gone through it. She chuckled at Devon's comment and grinned, ”Don't act so innocent Devon – I heard you had Cala pinned in under fifteen seconds when you two first sparred..”
She then shifted her attention to Yata as he stumbled and fell; her silver eyes widening slightly. He seemed alright though, and she walked over and offered her hand to help him up if he wanted it. ”Yeah, it definitely takes some getting used to. Still, that was better then what I did – I ran into a tree. Practicing in the forest hadn't been my greatest idea I guess... It does take some getting used to, but you managed it easy enough, so I doubt it'll take you long. If you need any help with it though, or have any more questions, and you can't find me here I'm probably over on Sunset Isle... I'm the boss there – but it's not really busy work considering its a vacation place.”

| Yata had already rolled onto the back of his neck to perform a breakdance move before pushing himself upwards into a flip, landing back on his feet (the gif below, basically.) Swift Release, huh... that was going to take practice.
Amaranth said she'd ran into a tree when she learned it, causing Yata to make sort of a pained face. But if she were anything like Dad Kane or the Jr dude, he knew she'd be able to take it. She said he could come ask if he had any more questions; if she wasn't here she was on Sunset, and also she was the boss of it. A kid, the boss of a big island like that?... Yata just scrathed his head and nervously adjusted his skull cap.
Maybe he'd go over there one of these days. It was a vacation spot with beaches that he saw everyday while tricking around downtown. There had to be all kinds of girls over there, barely dressed. The thought of wandering those beaches with eyes peeled brought sort of a grin to his face... it had to be like heaven. Maybe he'd score a girlfriend over there, since it didn't look like it was happening here. Everybody was taken, or just didn't seem interested.
"Alright... uh... thanks for that, Ama--ranth, was it? Sorry if I said it wrong... Uh, if there's anything I could do to return the favor, just let the Jr dude know, eh?" said Yata as he was backing towards the doors to R&D. After a wave to Devon he was out in the hall...
