| Cala watched as he peeled open the vent and then climbed in, after a moment she jumped over, grabbing hold of the vent silently, and just as quietly entered it. She followed after him, ignoring the rodents, spiders, or whatever else was trying to lurk in the dark coolness that the vent provided. Night vision was a wonderful thing, as it kept her from running into one of the vent walls, or Matt himself. She watched him exit the vent into the main area of the bank and held back her cackle. She'd exit much the same way, but only due to one of her many vampiric powers: wall crawling. She slipped out of the vent, fingers and shoe covered feet clinging to the surface of the ceiling much like a spider would. She nodded as he motioned her towards the vault, and headed in that direction, silently. Once she was close enough her own plan went into action. She didn't want shot at, and she knew those two emptying the vault had guns nearby as well. So, she shifted her form, once close enough to the vault, to a mist like substance. She released herself from the ceiling, floating down as she kept mostly her same shape as before, but was otherwise invisible to all but the most trained eye that could spot the small particles of moisture that her form held. Once on the ground, both of the robbers unaware, she allowed herself to reform: standing right behind them. As her form solidified the man on the left bumped into her and jumped with a yelp, instantly reaching for his gun. A momentarily brief telekinetic swipe of her mind had both of the guns sliding across the floor, and underneath of a desk. "Now that the odds are even..."She watched the man on the right turn to punch her, but it was all as if it was in slow motion: Auspex in play as her eyes had turned violet the moment she landed behind the men. She ducked down, avoiding the fist that had been aimed for her head. Her hand clenched into her own fist and she shot it upwards fast, slamming it into the underside of the man's jaw with enough force to have him lifting up into the air and flying backwards several feet to land in a heap on the floor: his jaw easily busted. She figured he wasn't going to be getting up for a few, and therefore turned her violet colored, now matching gaze, to the other of the two, who was scrambling his way across the floor towards the guns she had sent sliding... The unhinged, crazed grin once more upon her face. Word Count: 458 + 1,030 = 1,488 / 750+ - Vampire Physiology:
Name: Vampire Physiology Type: Personal Description: User with this ability either is or can transform into an vampire, a being who subsists by feeding on the life essence of living creatures (often in the form of blood), regardless of whether the vampire is undead or a living person/being. While all vampires need some form of life-essence, the quality and quantity vary greatly: from daily to rarely, from needing lethal amounts to barely notable, from sentient blood freshly drained to rare steak.
Physically vampires are similar to their non-vampiric species, but exact changes their state causes vary greatly: more common effects include have pale/white skin, glowing eyes (possibly chancing to golden or red), prominent canines or generally predatory appearance, but some have no visible changes at all, while others barely pass for a humanoid.
Mentally vampires vary from perfectly normal persons with unusual dietary requirements to predatory, calculating beings, to hunger-driven blood-junkies.
Generally vampires are physically imposing beings with excellent strength, speed, endurance and agility, excellent senses, extended living-span nearing ageless and high-level resistance to damage. Other abilities include ability to turn other beings into vampires (possibly involuntarily), mental abilities, transformation into animals or mist, etc. Note that vampires are able to learn Magic, so the variety of powers some have isn't so much result of them being vampires as their own studies. Applications Enhanced Senses Night Vision Wall Crawling Air Mimicry Enhanced Strength
- Auspex:
Name: Auspex Power Rank: MP - PC Description: Auspex is a Discipline that grants vampires supernatural senses. It is one of the most common and favored Discipline among Cainites due to its versatility and overall usefulness in just about every facet of vampiric existence. In addition to the individual powers granted at each level, Auspex allows someone the opportunity to see through illusions, such as from Obfuscate or Chimerstry. Furthermore, it has been known to grant some degree of oracular ability, particularly when alerting a Cainite to danger, even if they are in torpor.

| These goons were confident in the thought that they were about to get away with hundreds of thousands of dollars. Several security guards were dead, others dying. Two hostages had broken noses, another with a broken arm. These guys were ruthless and wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone in here. The scans of the goons let him know that all of them were average humans; no powers, hardly athletic. They were totally dependent on guns. Without them they were no challenge; V estimated average street fighting skills. - Spoiler:
Sense of Strength (Scanner Vision, High-Tech Exoskeleton) Users are able to instantly know the strength of their opponent's power are also able to detect any weaknesses.
The first thing to do would have to be to rid the world of those weapons. A combination of being faster than all of these chumps in here and his cape would assist in this endeavor. He dropped into the room, each hand holding on to an end of his cape. He was above one of the unaware mask wearing goons, and landed on the floor after making a simple swipe of the cape diagonally at the automatic rifle in his hands. V moved away from that goon across the room to another, making a similar swipe from the floor up. One final movement toward the last thug and a vertical swipe of the cape, and V stood up straight while pushing the cape behind him. This whole series of events took place in an entire second. - Spoiler:
Enhanced Speed (Enhanced Condition) Users can move far faster than the average member of the user's species, some at or above supersonic speed or even faster, possibly reaching or even exceeding light speed. This power is not without any ill effects however, as it can strain the body, but some users may be resistant or even immune to the effects of high speed travel including friction and inertia.
- Spoiler:
Cape Manipulation The user possesses an animated cape that they can manipulate in a variety of ways. Applications Can sharpen the cape's corners to make Blades
"Who the fuck is that???" asked one of the thugs now that Vigilante was able to be seen. "Who cares, kill it!" said another, and all 3 of the goons attempted to open fire, just to have their guns fall apart in their hands, all at the same time. "Shit!!" was what the last goon yelled. That goon was the first one to be hit with a combination of rapid open handed strikes to the jaw and neck area; the popping sounds of his gloves impacting the man's face and his grunting sounds echoing in the big front room. While dazed, a leaping roundhouse kick slamming into the man's temple is what sent him to the floor face first. Another dropped the pieces of gun he held in both hands and ran toward V from behind in the meantime, attempting to punch the back of his head. V ducked before it could land, to reach up and grab the man's swinging arm and bring it down upon the shoulder of his suit elbow-first, effectively breaking the man's arm. He screamed in agony and was thrown to the side to also land upon his face. The last guy was watching all of this happen and became terrified. About the time his cohort got his arm broken is when he decided to abandon the job and make a break for it. Since he couldn't see when V moved quickly, he didn't notice him until turning toward the front doors, toward a right hand speeding toward his face. After being hit, he saw nothing but stars and blur. The beating he was dealt soon after had him thinking he was being attacked by multiple people, and after a period of unconsciousness he would awake to the worst pain he'd ever felt in his life. - Spoiler:
Speed Combat (Enhanced Combat) Users of this ability are able to fight at incredible speed. They could strike their opponent in rapid succession that it could possibly kill them instantly. Their attacks would possibility deliver stronger attacks than a normal humans due to the gaining kinetic energy produced through the speed of each hit.

| A cackle rang out as she watched the man attempting to flee towards his guns. But, she was faster, much faster. She lunged forward, snatching up his left leg. Between his forward momentum, sudden lack of footing, and unexpectedly having his leg yanked out from beneath him, the man flew face first down towards the floor, smashing face first; hard enough to break his nose. His arms flailed out before him as he attempted to still reach the gun which was only about a foot and a half away from him. - Vampire Physiology:

Cala dragged him backwards, putting more distance between him and the gun. The guy flipped over onto his back, aiming a kick with this free leg towards her. She grabbed the bottom of his foot, and then turned it. Her arm, as well as his leg, kept turning until a loud snap of a sound echoed through the bank: the man's leg now broken. She then did the same with the leg she was left holding, snapping it too in much the same twisting manner. He wouldn't be walking for a very long time, if ever again. The man was no longer attempting to get to his gun, too busy screaming his lungs out and trying to cradle himself into a ball on the floor. She turned her violet gaze towards the first man she'd handled, noticing that he was knocked out cold, his jaw at an awkward and very painful angle. She then turned her violet gaze to Matt, still grinning in her usual unhinged fashion. She saw a man in a fancy suit with a gold plated name tag that said "Bank Manager" on it slowly and shakily stand up.

| V opened the front doors to let the cops and medics in. He saw Cala standing in the back, but the two with her weren't, meaning the goons in the back were done for, and this job was now foiled. This super hero thing had gotten off to a great start so far. He'd beat up two strong villains at the same time, got hired into a secret Company, his own place to live, money, and the attention of a beautiful girl, even though she was a Vampire, 400 years old, and insane.
People were thanking him and such, and he'd respond with "No prob," or some super hero line like "All in a day's work." V went in the back with Cala and the bank manager, to see the other two goons in the floor. One looked like his jaw was broken, and the other one...The other one just looked all fucked up. V wasn't gonna ask about that one.
"No trouble back here, I take it?" he asked Cala.

| She watched Matt move closer and grinned more. She shook her head at his question and then nodded her head towards the man with two broken legs. "Nope, except that guy and the other just learned to never try and hit a female."
She turned her attention to the bank manager as he came closer. His shaking had already stopped, and after clearing his throat several times, he handed them both a grand worth of credits. "I... I want to thank you for helping us. Please, take this, in show of my appreciate and everyone else's. Lord knows how much worse it would have gotten if you two hadn't jumped in."
Cala blinked, took her share of the money, and slipped it into her hoodie pocket. "Thanks, mister." With that said she looked to V and then to the doors. "Think it's time we leave... really don't want my face on any cameras or anything, and I'm sure the news will be here soon..." She really didn't want that sort of attention: it was hard enough being a vampire in the modern world, and if her face ended up on camera it was only going to be harder still.
