The Templars had secured themselves a fifteen story high building in the downtown area of Edge City. It had its own parking garage built inside of it with a garage door that was constantly barred and locked when not in use. The roof had its own helicopter landing area, but there was no helicopter there. There were both stairs and elevators that went up through all fifteen floors. The front of the building looked like any other business corporation, as did most of the first few floors instead. There was a receptionist at the desk, and guards walked the hallways of every floor. This was where one of the Templar headquarters were located and all sorts of things could be going seen going on inside.
Experiments were being made, technological devices created, some people were enjoying cups of coffee around a water cooler while shooting the breeze, a few were slumped over desks busy working and typing. It was, all in all, like any other office. Except, of course, for the top floor which was where Cala was currently housed. The Templar leader looked in on her, seeing her still unconscious from the hit to the head. It didn't surprise him, so he left her alone in her locked cell for the moment and simply stared out the window.
"Do you think they'll make the deal?", one of his goons asked him quietly as the man looked up from a computer he had been typing in front of.
"If they care about their employee's they will. Either way the girl's going to die. I have no intentions of letting her live. She's seen and heard too much."
"But sir. What if they retaliate?"
A snort escaped the Leader. "We'll be gone by then. There will be nothing left to retaliate against."
