| Jr looked through cameras around the city while Niala put her plan into play. She created a copy of Cala while retrieving the real one, sealing Devon into a protective shell. Jr could see nothing out of the ordinary on his screens.... yet. Jr had seen a lot of things in his time, but when Niala did her thing, it was always something different.
She was able to retrieve Cala, who looked relatively unharmed. This saved a lot of time and effort and having to involve people he didn't have to. That would just be more drama. She looked to be in bad condition, but there were several healers around. Physical damage could be healed easily enough, but the mental was something else entirely.
"Look to your left," Jr replied to Cala, hearing her speak of someone named Zephyr and how they were going to attack Sunset. It felt good to hear that Ghost was still ready to fight. He wondered how much of the environment would be damaged if Sez found out and got involved.
"Don't blame yourself, you weren't in control of your actions," Jr continued. "A good thing Vigilante gave Devon those Nano-whatever-they-ares. A good thing Devon got this off of you too, yeah? Maybe we'd have never found you otherwise..." Jr held up Cala's Company Pendant.

| Seeing the state her sister arrived in, seeing her tears and the pure anguish she felt at thinking Devon was dead calmed any suspicion of her sister she had. Niala had stripped away the crazy, but otherwise left her sister as a vampire. It probably would have bothered her still if it wasn’t for Cala’s emotional state. Sighing, Devon rose from the couch, helping Cala to her feet, before wrapping an arm around her sisters back. “I’mma take her to my office and get her calmed down and cleaned up. Lemme know if I’m needed for anything.” Devon would then lead her sister out of the office, knowing well that the island situation would be handled and chances were this Zephyr person would be dead soon. | Seeing that her sister was alive as she looked to the left, she watched as Devon approached her, a sense of relief rushing over her. She was shocked as her sister helped her to feet and then began to lead her out of the office. She was surprised Devon was willing to be that close to her. But, she let it happen, following her sister out of Junior’s office with her pendant if she’d be given it back back around her neck. They had some talking to do, but the idea of no longer being covered in itchy salt water sounded appealing. Plus, she had a lot of apologizing to do. Her fault or not she felt like she’d broken her sister’s trust. Exit | |

| With Devon and Cala leaving Niala took a seat at her computer once more. She began to go through the various feeds and videos, focusing on Sunset Island. Seeing a sort of evacuation beginning to happen she pulled up the a news feed and hit play. ”We’re asking that everyone calmly pack up and head into the lobby’s of your hotels and suites. Bad weather is coming and an evacuation has been ordered. There will be staff waiting to escort you from Sunset Island. For those who arrived and whose vacations are being cut short you will be compensated heavily. Please remain calm, we have boats and airplanes waiting, and there is plenty of space for everyone. Any items that happen to be left behind will be mailed to you within several days at no charge to you. This is Channel….” Niala muted the screen, glancing over toward Junior and Ghost.
”Huh… I don’t sense an attack. Seems like this weather is natural, but the timing…”, she mused out loud. Focusing her attention back onto the screen she’d pull up the temperature readings of the island, watching as it steadily continued to drop.

| Something wasn’t quite right, but Amaranth couldn’t put her finger on it. There was a gut feeling that some kind of danger was coming, and throughout her time in both this world and the ninja one as Mistukai she’d learned to trust this instinct one-hundred percent. It had proven useful, so she never doubted it. Staring at the screens within her underwater lab that showed the various useful bits and pieces of information about the island at any given time, she watched as the live update of the temperature began to drop, slowly but steadily. Frowning to herself she switched on the news, watching as this temperature flux was beginning to be broadcasted, with snow being predicted for the nearby future - along with asking any residence or tourists of the island to pack up and leave; adding that they’d be compensated for any who’d had to cut their vacations short. Staff would help to escort them safely, calmly, and efficiently off the island before they themselves left to their various homes throughout the rest of the world.
This was one of the safety measures, an early warning indication for the tropical paradise. Her mom had once explained that it worked in the same way that Dez’s precognition did, only much earlier than just a few seconds' warning. It’d turn the island into a winter wonderland of sorts, one unable to be inhabited by humans. It was a “gentle” reason to end the tourist season and send everyone packing in a way that would never alert any would-be attackers that they knew what was coming ahead of time. Dez had known Amaranth’s biggest concern would always be the civilians on the island, the innocent people who were simply trying to enjoy a break from the “real world”, thus this system was born.
Frowning, Amaranth pondered what to do when the idea of going to Niala popped into her head. She knew the woman was a seer, and powerful, and it wasn’t often she asked for favors, but she was curious to see how bad things were about to come. Grabbing her red hooded cloak she put it on before becoming intangible and flying out of her lab, straight through the water, and directly to Darkman Tower. Entering in through the usual window everyone used after becoming tangible again, she’d look straight towards Niala, ”Hey, can I borrow you a sec, something—” Glancing towards Junior and then her father, her frown would deepen slightly. ”Someone’s going to attack my island, aren’t they?”, Amaranth questioned, unlike her mother’s typical fly off the handle way she was completely calm, albeit frowning at the idea.
Awaiting for an answer she’d pull her tablet from one of the pouches around her waist, pulling up a live feed of the island, revealing the snow that was beginning to fall. ”Mom devised a very early warning system to make people leave the island. When it snows on Sunset the island becomes inhabitable by humans without special gear. It’s a reason for them to be evacuated without raising suspicion. So, what's going on?”

| Devon took Cala away to another room. While still hovering in midair Ghost popped his knuckles beneath his gloves. Who was this Zephyr? Where was this attack coming from, and why? Why was it aimed at his daughter's island? It didn't really matter... trying to figure all of that out was likely to give him a headache. All he knew was that it had been a long time since he'd devoured someone. Not since the INC days and the Sith wars.
The Daughter was next to appear, seeing as the island was being evacuated. Dez must have put that snow system into play to make everyone leave, and the daughter confirmed this. "I guess," Ghost responded, looking out of the windows. "We might wanna keep this quiet for now when it comes to your mom. If anything does happen, just leave it to me..."
Kane had Jr, Superheroes and God like beings to protect Edge City, but Ghost felt the Island was part of his responsibility. If someone did attack, they would have to go through him first...

| "Someone kidnapped Cala," said Jr, having given her the Company Pendant back before Devon took her to her office. "Brainwashed her. Had her saying how she wanted the old times back, plagues, disease and death. Said she wanted to rule over it all, attacked Devon because she wouldn't join her.
"Niala found out she was being controlled. You know about Niala's powers, right? There's somebody else out there with the same kind of powers. Honestly, who could face off against somebody like that except for someone with the same thing?... That psychic sand dude from the ninja world?... Maybe, Vigilante? He has that weird shit about him that cancels stuff out. I'll have to see if he's around. The last I heard, he was going back and forth with that glowing alien that turned into King Kong that one time...
"Anyways, I gotta agree with Ghost. Your mom will overreact and ill have to fix millions in property damages again. Niala says she can't sense an attack anymore, but it won't hurt to keep your eyes peeled."

| Niala listened as between Ghost and Junior everything was explained to the newly arrived Amaranth. She seemed to be taking it fairly well as beyond a frown on her face she wasn’t raging or losing her temper or anything like that. While they all spoke, Niala returned to looking into the future, trying to catch a glimpse of what was to come once again: her eyes flashing once more from normal to jet black and then back again repeatedly as she looked at what was to come from all angles. At first all she could see was a jumbled mess of indecisiveness. However, as she continued to watch more images took place, and once again it was like watching a glimpse of a video, but what she saw had her now frowning.
Staying silent for a moment she focused on these images, continuing to look through them before finally she would sigh and pinch the bridge of her nose. ”It’s clear from what I’m seeing that whatever Cala had known up until the time I teleported her here this woman, Zephyr knows. What’s more is she intends on using this knowledge to conduct some kind of psychological warfare as well.” Once more Niala would project an image into the center of the room, only it was paused for a moment as she looked at the other three: the image projected was of Destiny or rather what Destiny looked like in that exact moment, and Amaranth whose back was turned sitting in her leather reclining office chair in her lab. ”Before I show you this, especially you Amaranth, understand that this is not your mother, but a clone that Zephyr created to look and speak exactly like her..”
Waiting to make sure everyone got the gist of what she was saying, she would then play the image, revealing this clone of Destiny’s entering into Amaranths’ lab. As the clone entered, Amaranth in the holographic video would remain in her chair, her back remaining towards her mother as she searched through her own mainframe’s and databases for whatever it was she was looking for, a casual “Hey mom” tossed over Amaranths’ shoulder in the video. The clone, with a wicked smile forming on its face, would reach her daughter, a shotgun being revealed, pointed at the back of Amaranth’s head. “Die.”, the clone would speak, causing the holographic Amaranth to turn, facing her mother just in time for the gun to go off. The holographic image would change just as Niala’s vision did, showing brief glimpses of various other scenarios, including Amaranth fighting multiple clones of Destiny on her island before she would end it - showing that now that Amaranth had this information, the future was already changing. ”The future is already changing by me showing you this…”

| Amaranth listened as her uncle and father explained what was going on, her focus intent, and the frown deeping slightly on her face. Someone was out to cause trouble, to throw the world back several centuries into a time of chaos, suffering, and warfare. What’s more, they’d used Cala to help complete this task, and Devon had almost died in the process. Then to add onto the issues surrounding this whole mess, the main chick behind all of it had powers like Niala. When Amaranth had first heard about Niala’s abilities she’d been skeptical of the woman, but it was only through Niala’s actions and the trust her grandfather and everyone else had in her, had Amaranth become comfortable with the idea of what Niala could do. But now some evil woman had these powers too, and was targeting her island as her first, or rather second after Devon, attack. It sounded like something out of a movie to Amaranth, but nonetheless needed to be dealt with. She knew her father was more than capable of protecting her island, and it wasn’t like she was going to sit still herself and let him have all the action.
”Yeah, no… as much as mom might be pissed if she finds out later we kept this from her, I don’t like the idea of her knowing about this anymore than you guys do. She built that island specifically for me because - and I quote - “I want you to grow up in a different world than I did. I don’t want you having to watch your back every second of the day and night. So I created you a place of peace, where you can relax and grow up without all the mess I went through”. So if she finds out someone’s trying to cause trouble it won’t be millions of dollars worth of damage, it’ll be trillions.”
It was then Niala pulled up some sort of holographic, 3D video floating in the center of the office. Immediately she could recognize herself and her mother. However, with Niala’s words of warning that this wasn’t actually her mother but a clone, she’d nod before watching the video play out. It was a bit weird seeing herself from a different angle, and she might have even popped off with a comical joke or something, if she didn’t watch as her mother approached her, shotgun in hand, and pointed it at the back of her head before pulling the trigger as she turned around. ”....”
Watching as the scenes changed for the few seconds they remained up, she knew even without Niala having to say it that the future had changed now that she knew what she was up against. Instead of getting upset, a thoughtful look would replace the frown on Amaranth’s face. ”Niala, could you create a replica of one of those clones from the future? I want to check something… You said this Zephyr woman knows what Cala knows, but there’s a few things about mom that only a couple of us know, and if I’m right, I have an idea.”
If Niala would in fact be able to pull one of these clones out of the proverbial future, Amaranth would make her way over to it. ”This’ll be weird… but…” Removing the typical bullet proof vest her mother wore, evident on the clone since they looked exactly alike, Amaranth would proceed to pull up the right side of her clone mother’s shirt, up until the very bottom of her rib cage. Running her hand along it, finger tips danced across flesh briefly, a furrowed brow showing a thoughtful expression. Stepping backwards, she’d nod, satisfied. ”Just what I thought… Mom told me a story about how when she was really little, like five or six, Grandma was concerned she might accidentally hurt her if she lost control. So Grandma, tickling her, put a phoenix feather into her right side, making her immune to not only fire in general, but phoenix fire specifically. Most of the time it just looks like a cool tattoo, that’s how I saw it one day when mom and I were hanging out on the beach and I asked her about it. If she has it hidden, though, you can still feel it. These clones don’t have it, but that makes sense since it’s not common knowledge - definitely something Cala wouldn’t know about.” Reaching into one of the larger pouches at her hip, she pulled out a fully loaded clip for her sniper scythe before placing it on Junior’s desk. ”Uncle Junior, could you bless that with phoenix fire for me? Those rounds aren’t meant to penetrate normal flesh otherwise, but it’d give me an advantage to the clones, while ensuring that if mom does show up I can’t harm her accidentally.”

| Niala said whoever this Zephyr person was knew everything that Cala did. She further went on to say that she planned on using this knowledge to start a war. Niala put her powers in play again, eventually conjuring up an image and saying that it wasn't Dez that she was about to see, but a clone. Ghost could see Dez enter Amaranth's lab and, in typical Kane fashion, blow her own daughter's head off with a shotgun.
Ghost was starting to get pissed... not from what he'd just seen, but because some coward would pretend to be someone they aren't to start shit. "Whoever this bitch is, she has to get past me first," was all he said before turning back into smoke and vanishing from the office. If one were to look, they could soon see the whole island being lightly blanketed in a black colored smoke...

| He coated his left hand in a flame that burned redder than usual fire. This hand was used to quickly swipe over Amaranth's bullet pouch. The fire wouldn't burn it to cinders since it was just a blessing. The pouch would glow several seconds before returning to normal. "Be careful with those, a bad idea to get caught up in the back blast."
Jr put his hands together beneath his chin as he leaned forward onto the desk, frowning. "Let me know if you need anything Ghost," he said to him before vanishing into smoke.
There were the usual questions. How? Why? Who? They didn't matter. This looked like a real danger, especially if they had the same powers as Niala. He wondered if he had to get his father and/or grandfather involved after all. They possibly planned to clone Dez and kill Amaranth. This wasn't 100% a possibility, just one of many.
"...Might need a big brain on this," Jr continued. "I got somebody who might be able to help on this, warn us when something's not right. He's from the ninja world, he's a psychic. I didn't give him a phone so I gotta go look around for him."
Jr formed several hand signs and formed a shadow clone. The clone opened the window and jumped out, wings appearing on his back in the meantime.

| Watching as Junior blessed the clips for her sniper scythe, Amaranth nodded to the warning and grinned. ”Thank you, I’ll be careful, as always.” Placing the ammo away, she’d watch as her father left, a glance towards her island out the window showing the black smoke starting to cover the wintery landscape. She felt the urge to get back as well soon, but she had another question that was rattling around her brain while Junior sent a clone off to go find someone else to add to this slice of drama that seemed to be unfolding. Turning her focus toward Niala, an eyebrow would raise in curiosity. ”Niala… I know you got like… super powerful abilities… why couldn’t you just imagine Zephyr’s power away from her, or imagine she never existed in the first place?”, Amaranth would question. It sounded so simple of an idea, but she was sure there was some kind of reasoning behind Niala not doing just that that she wasn’t aware of at the moment. Once she were to get her answer, if she did, Amaranth would say her goodbyes and head back to her island, waiting for something to happen… if it would. Exit | |

| Niala watched as Junior blessed Amaranth’s ammo and Ghost left. As they waited for the new person to arrive, Niala turned her focus onto the live feed of Sunset Island, watching as it was covered in black smoke - though there was also hint of another barrier in place, some kind of bubble looking shield. She assumed it was the same angelic shield Destiny has used as a child to flatten many a enemy into pancakes. Pulled away from her thoughts by Amaranth’s question, she’d turn her gaze onto the younger female and shrug.
”Honestly? It’s rare for someone to have abilities like mine, thankfully. However, most of us that do have very specific protections in place to keep someone else from doing just that. Take me for example, if Zephyr found out about my ability and tried to take it from me she’d cease to exist on a level to where there would be absolutely no way to bring her back. She would disappear entirely; no spirit, soul, physical being, nothing. Chances are she wouldn’t even be a memory except to those with the strongest psychic abilities and even then it’d be a rare chance. The only way anyone could get my ability is if I were to give it to them of my own free will.”
“There are also other fail safes in place in case something were to happen. Like with my seer ability… it’s a blessing and a curse. While yes I can see the future, I can touch someone and witness their life unfolding before them, I’ve also witnessed horrific things. To make it worse I feel what that person is feeling during the vision - pleasure, pain, happiness, sadness, fear, so on... Like when I saw the clone of your mother shooting you. I felt it as if I were you: the sense of betrayal, the fear, the pain of being shot. There is only so much trauma a person’s brain can take, human or otherwise. Because of that I have a reverting fail safe in place to where if I were to become mentally unstable, if my power were to ever become out of my complete and utter control, I would revert back to a period of time in my life where I was happy, safe, and sane. This isn’t so much to protect myself, but rather those around me I care about. Depending on how far back a memory like that would go, I could even go back to being a small child. I’d have no memory of what happened afterwards. With Zephyr being as old as she is, chances are she has quite a few tricks up her sleeve to keep anyone from coming after her in such a manner.” With Amaranth having got her answer, she watched as Amaranth left.

| A Moor and an Angel, Artemis’ physiology was certainly interesting. It had taken some getting used to when she realized just how many additional powers she had access to. Spiders, weaving webs, being able to talk anyone into anything, had been her normal. Now, she’d added to that. She had spent a long time training, learning about all of these new abilities she had. While she certainly didn’t need them in Makkura, there was a chance she might one day come across an opponent where she would, and she believed in always being prepared.
Yawning, a hint of fangs showed, as she glanced around at the world around herself. She’d been on a shopping trip through Edge City, buying up more art supplies since she was running low. However, she had quickly become bored. She’d seen zero action in months, and sparring and training just wasn’t the same thing. She was itching for a fight, itching to get involved in something. Pulling out her phone she glanced at the few notifications she had missed, including a news article about Sunset Island - it had been evacuated due to a sudden winter storm that had appeared out of nowhere. Everyone seemed to take it as normal weather in the comments, a normal anomaly that happened from time to time, but Artemis had a feeling something else was up.
Figuring she’d go pester her big brother, she switched to a new song in her playlist, the music playing through the headphones around her neck, Artemis whispering the lyrics as she made her way towards a less populated street - she didn’t like using her abilities around the humans after all. ”OP on another level. You may think you want beef till you see the Devil. I see you getting all geeked, you must think you’re special. Pick up that piece and you’ll need a shovel, ‘cause you won’t leave in one piece, you will leave disheveled. Devil’s Fruit on me, see the glint of metal? Step up, and I'll squeeze, send a bit of metal. You’ll walk into the light when I weave the pencil. I’m a beast, can’t you see, can’t nobody fuck with me. I’ll be here for centuries and still won’t have a dent in me. Is it you? Could it be? Are you the one to set me free? Please unleash your weaponry, I’d love to peek at your pedigree.”
Once she was free of any looky-loos, Artemis bent her knees and launched herself up into the air, heading straight towards Darkman Tower. As everyone else did, Artemis entered through the window, listening to the conversation that was going on before watching Amaranth leave, peering around with red colored eyes.
As per usual Artemis was wearing her typical formal-esque punk attire: a black pair of leggings with a skirt worn over top, black combat steel toed boots, a white hooded shirt tucked into her skirt at the waist, with a corset design down the sleeves with black ribbons. Her hair, now down to her knees, was worn in a pair of space bun style pigtails, tied with the same sort of black ribbon as her sleeves.
”Hey, bro!” Dropping her bag near a chair, Artemis flopped in it, sprawled comfortably. ”I take it that something's going on, eh? I wanna help. There’s nothing going on at home, and I’m bored.”

| Pretty bored. A few thugs and baddies to beat on, play with, but nothing like a kingpin or a boss. He'd wandered around this huge city for months, enjoying the freedom to do pretty much whatever he wanted. This place was nothing like the villages back in his world. Even after all these months he was still adjusting. He'd seen fights between a guy in a robotic suit, and another strange little dude with a big ego who could start glowing and shooting lights from his hands. The robot guy worked for The Company, but he hadn't been around there for a while. Did he get fired?
Then, the strange weather on the island nearby. Snow, then some black stuff... what the hell was that? What was even weirder is how Jr suddenly appeared and said he was needed at the tower, before vanishing into smoke. This looked and seemed like something serious, probably what he was waiting for. He started to get excited and made his way towards the tower.
A small guy in stature, maybe 4 feet, came in through the window. He had n a gas mask that completely concealed his facial features. He used to be bald, but months of not cutting it like he used to caused red hair to spill down the sides and front of his head. He was wearing a rubber suit that was too long for his arms, tanned colored sweatpants, going barefoot. Suna was also wearing a black gourd on his back that moved and twitched every so often. What set Suna apart from most others was that he was always floating several feet above the floor.
"Something serious is brewing, huh?" Suna asked, floating nearby Jr and noticing that all the other occupants of the room were female, none of which he knew personally. "Kinda looking like a horror movie over there... well, besides Kane's village that never sees the sun and has tentacle monsters and whatnot in the dark. What's up?"

| Amaranth asked a really good question, but even Jr wasn't expecting the answer. If someone tried taking her powers, they'd disappear, and there would be no coming back. Niala also said she had safety measures in place just in case she lost control of herself. This was good to know. Jr still didn't know what whoever this woman was capable of, nor why she would want to throw the world into chaos.
The niece left, and Suna entered the office soon after. "...Yeah," Jr said. "...You can read minds, right? I usually have guards up because I like my privacy, but since you're a friend I wouldn't mind if you took a look and found out what's up for yourself."
His sister was next to enter while he went back into deep thought, wondering if Dez and his father would get involved in this. The two of them always caused a mess and millions in damage that he really didn't want to have to clean up. It was enough to fix everything wrecked by Vigilante and that Alien as it was. Now Artemis wanted to get involved? This just made him frown deeper.
"No," Jr said. "I'm not involving family in this. This is way too dangerous. Dad and your mother aren't about to bitch me out when something happens to you, no. No way. You got too much dad in you, go to the mall and buy some clothes or something with your girls while I take care of this."

| The arrival of a red haired floating individual caught Niala’s attention, there was something different about this person, and she assumed this was the psychic that Junior had spoken about. It wasn’t her business to press, so she kept her abilities to herself, and her mind locked down. Instead, she focused her attention on Artemis who entered and promptly flopped in a chair. It seemed Junior’s baby sister wanted to get involved, but the frown on Junior’s face said it all before he even spoke. He didn’t want family involved in this, and he certainly didn’t want told off for allowing Artemis to get involved. Niala was curious as to how Artemis would handle such a rejection, was she hot headed like Dez, or would she be calmer about it?
Figuring she’d find out soon enough, and it not being her place to say anything in family matters, Niala simply returned to her tasks at hand, monitoring the camera feeds at her desk while every so often her gaze would shift to black as she peered into the various futures they would encounter. It seemed nothing had been completely set in stone yet, but none of the future she was seeing looked sunny and bright. There was definitely going to be a war brewing, and something was telling her it wouldn’t end at just Sunset Island.

| Life without action was dull, and that’d been what things were the past many months. However, just as she was hoping to get involved in something, anything really, that avenue was being shut down. Her brother didn’t want her involved, didn’t want family in general to be dealing with whatever was going on. She couldn’t quite blame him when he mentioned not wanting to be bitched out by dad and mom, but it still caused her to roll her eyes nonetheless and sigh out of frustration. ”Seriously? Fiiiiiiine. Spoil sport.”, she would half heartedly tease. She was definitely disappointed, but she wasn’t going to flip her lid or anything like that - it just wasn’t Artemis style, really. ”I’ll go find something else to do then.” That something else wasn’t going to be clothes shopping though. She didn’t quite know what she was going to find to do, but she was determined to make it at least twice as exciting as shopping. Grabbing her bag from the floor Artemis would stand up, slinging the backpack over her shoulder before walking over to the window. Making a peace sign, her usual method of goodbye, she’d drop from the window, disappearing downwards and out of sight for a brief second before shooting off in another direction. | Suna didn't really like reading other people's minds. Sometimes the voices and thoughts were just there, whether he was trying to or not, but since he didn't want someone reading him like a book, he didn't much want to do it to someone else. Someone normal, anyway. Bad guys, goons, scum, that was a different matter. Jr said it was alright though, so, already sensing some tension in this office, Duna went about the process of finding out what was up himself.
"...Zephyr," Suna said, his eyes closed. "...She has a power called... Imagination Manifestation? That's... crazy. Being able to just imagine something and make it real?... I don't think somebody should have that kind of power, good or bad, y'know? Like, what if the good person with something like that has a bad day?... I know all about bad days, trust me..."
"So she wants to throw the world into chaos, and she's cloning people, pretending to be someone else so that you guys don't trust each other... I've seen something like that back in my world, there was this chick once? She knew how to---well, never mind, that's not important now. I guess you need somebody like me around to tell who's real and who's fake? I can do that..."
"...Huh... messing with family, that's not cool... I wouldn't know though, I never had one, but if I were you Alec, i'd be pissed. That's your name, right? Alec? You mind if I call you that?" A conspiracy? Suna was excited, not because people and probably the whole word was in danger, but because he could probably play a part in stopping whoever Zephyr was. Suna began to figure this would be chance to learn some new things, and possibly expand his psychic abilities that he barely got to use.

| Suna seemed to be as good as his father once told him he was. He started to figure he could use the little dude, and would make sure he was well compensated for his services. He'd have to talk to him about joining up later on.
"Get mad, that's cool," he said before Artemis left. "I'd rather you were mad and safe over happy and dead. Please stay out of trouble."
She was going to get in trouble. Jr knew this. Somehow, she would get involved. Jr had been working on his temper for the longest time, but when one of his got involved in situations like this, especially the little sister he never though would exist, it irritated him to no end. A camera would zoom in and begin following her.
To Suna's question he answered, "Call me Jr. I don't wanna get mistaken with my dad, that's what everyone calls him. And yeah... that's the gist of it. Stick around, i'll make sure you get paid, i'm not asking you to help me for free."

| Artemis wasn’t happy about not being allowed to be involved in what was going on, but she didn’t blame Junior for his decision. That was his baby sister, and while Artemis was capable of protecting herself, this entire situation was just too much. Glancing over at Junior she could see him monitoring Artemis, and noticed his sister was leaving Edge City entirely, heading instead to the market at Soubi Shigai. There was no need to guess that she was going to get some boba tea there, it seemed to be as addicting to Artemis as frozen hot chocolate was to Niala.
Niala could tell when Suna had looked into Junior’s head to see what was going on, mainly due to his comment about Imagination Manifestation. He didn’t think anyone should have that power whether they were good or evil, and honestly Niala couldn’t help but to agree. It was the sort of power that could so easily be abused. The things that could be done with it were outright insane. Still, it wasn’t like she was going to get rid of her own ability. She knew what he meant by people having bad days, but that was why she had lockdowns in place to keep her from ever being able to do that sort of thing.
After Junior was finished clearing up what he preferred to go by name wise as well as the fact that Suna would be paid for his help a thought crossed Niala’s mind, causing her to frown. ”Oh, a word of warning about Zephyr… she’s a Malkavian: a psychotic vampire - the entire clan is literally mad. Looking into one of their minds is… well, for me it was quite painful the one time I had to do it. They’ve got something called the Cobweb that links every Malkavian ever created. Not only that, it holds every thought, every memory that they’ve had, individually and collectively, since the beginning of the clan several thousand years ago. They tend to be able to sense when someone’s poking around in one of their heads, and they tend to attack that individual or mess with them in some kind of way.”

| Suna was pretty broke. He'd earned a few credits messing with a few goons, but he'd spent most of his time trying to stay out of sight, or disguising himself so that he didn't look like a weirdo. The sound of being able to earn some sounded cool.
...Though, what Niala said sounded concerning. A clan of psycho vampires all connected mentally through something called the "Cobweb?" Suna was still getting used to these psychic powers after months, he didn't think he was ready to take something like that on. He thought his brain would get turned into hamburger.
"That... doesn't sound fun."
Jr opened a screen in mid-air, and on it a moving picture of his sister who was not too long ago in this room. It looked like she'd gone to a whole other city. Jr seemed like he cared about his family a lot, judging from him watching her and the frown on his face, and from the way he told her not to get involved.
He had good reason to be worried, since someone attacked his sister. Or, they tried. It seemed like the sister had been trained in Ninjutsu since she employed the exchange technique. "Well... it looks like we know where she is," said Suna. "She's using a disguise it looks like. I know a genjutsu when I see one... What's the move, Boss?"

| Malkavians. The only ones he really knew of were Cala and Maxi. Jr had never had to deal with any himself in his own adventures, but he figured they would fall just like any other suck head if he had to actually fight one... but this was no ordinary vampire. This one had the same powers as Niala, but not the same safeguards she did. This one was unhinged, and took the place of loved ones to attack family.
...Such as right now. Someone took the form of Dez. Even without powers, Jr knew that wasn't his sister. She didn't move like Dez at all. Jr's eyes began glowing red with rage energies, seeing that this is the second time this person had taken the form of his sister. Muscles bulge beneath his suit jacket.
"...Keep an eye on Edge," Jr said to Niala, rising from the leather seat. "Suna, you help her out. Whatever she needs. I'll make it worth your while when I get back."
Jr vanished into fire that burned and sizzled - causing no damage to anything- before burning out and disappearing.

| Someone had stupidly taken on the form of Destiny, or created a clone of her more than likely, and had attacked Artemis. Thankfully, it seemed that Artemis was on her toes even though she knew nothing about what was going on. She was able to get away from the attack unscathed, seeming to change places with a scrap of some kind of heavy metal which took the attack rather than Artemis or the old man who’d been standing behind her. She could only imagine what Junior was about to do as he left. Turning her attention back towards Suna, Niala would open one of the drawers of her desk, removing from it a necklace. The chain was specially made to be unbreakable, only allowing the wearer to remove it. From it held a strange rune, imbued with Niala’s own magic. “So, full disclosure since Junior trusts you - I have power like Zephyr. However, I have protections in place that only someone from the Kane family can trump that keep me from having… “bad days” as you called it. Basically, unless I’m in complete control of my emotions, I cannot harm someone with that power. The only override would be if one of the Kane’s, like Alec or Junior, allowed it. With that said, I used my power a while ago to create this in case I were to ever have to look into the mind of a Malkavian again - I’m a seer, you see. You’re welcome to it if you’d like. Basically, with this you could look into their mind while it would protect your own. It’s calibrated especially to the Malkavian minds.”She would hold it out to Suna, if he were to accept it she would continue on, ”The chain is made so that it’s unbreakable, only the wearer can remove it. When you put it on it’ll shorten to a size where it cannot fall off.” Meanwhile, Niala would be keeping an eye on things, not only the situation in Soubi Shigai with Artemis and Junior, but the world in general, wondering if anymore of these Destiny clones were going to show up. - Anti-Malkavian Pendant:
Name: Anit-Malkavian Pendant Type: Armor (Mental) Rank: PC Description: A thin silver chain from which a strange rune hangs that softly glows a violet color. Abilities: This pendant protects the user from mental/psychic based attacks from Malkavian minds specifically. This allows the wearer to enter into the mind of a Malkavian without being able to be harmed or overwhelmed. History: This item was created by Niala after having to delve into Demi’s mind many years ago. Due to the onslaught from the Malkavian cobweb this was fashioned in case anyone were to ever have to enter into such a chaotic mind again. It was created via Imagination Manifestation, and targets any sort of mental or psychic onslaught by Malkavians. - Code:

| Suna was wide eyed at the fire that was left behind when Jr vanished. It didn't burn anything or catch anything else on fire. He'd only heard a few stories about the Kanes and Jr in particular. Seeing as the screen was still up, Suna had a front row seat.
Was he... controlling time? Was this what he could really do?... It was amazing to watch, to be honest. The powers of some of these people in this tower was something else. He was a psychic, sure, but controlling time? That was almost God-like. Jr easily stepped in and reversed everything. No wonder he was the boss of this huge city...
In the meantime, Niala explained that while she too had the power to imagine things into reality, she couldn't "run wild" with them so to speak. She had to be calm, meaning if she was angry, they wouldn't work. Suna didn't dare try to read her, even though there seemed to be something in place preventing him from seeing or projecting. She next gave him a necklace that would protect his mind in case he had to delve into the brain of a Malkavian.
Suna telekinetically took the necklace, hanging it from the sash of his gourd as a decoration. "Thanks. Never know if i'll have to go to this cobweb place, sounds kinda freaky. I'll need all the help I can get," he responded.
