"Waahooooo!", Kouki explained as she launched herself into the air; her board hitting the railing as she slid down it. When she reached the end of the railing she jumped, launching herself and the board into the air where she did a seven-twenty twist and then landed. The conversion board was currently in its skateboard form, and the sound of the wheels against the pavement announced her arrival as people quickly got out of her way.
Kouki paid the disgruntled passerby's little mind as she continued towards the ocean that surrounded the city. She was on her way for a little vacation time: her parents knew where she was going and there was a chance that one or both of her brothers would end up following after her. She had every intention to head towards Sunset Island: she had seen a commercial on the television earlier about how there were new mountain ranges that looked like they would offer up some epic snowboarding time - one of the conversion boards forms she hadn't had a chance to try out yet.
"BEEP BEEP!", she called out as she ducked underneath of a couch that two people were carrying on opposite ends. Swearing followed her as she turned the corner, the smell of the ocean's salty air in her nose. She pressed off against the ground twice to build up speed as she kept going full speed towards the ocean and the railing that surrounded it. At the very last second she jumped, causing herself and the board to go launching into the air where it converted from a skateboard into a hover-board.
She zoomed along over top of the ocean, about six inches from its surface, as she headed towards Sunset Island: the board moving as fast as Kouki naturally did. She shifted her feet and crouched down so that she could trail her fingertips along the oceans surface. She could see fish beneath her, a whale, and even some sharks. Soon the scenery changed from nothing but a stretch of blue to a gorgeous island in the distance complete with a very tall mountain range....
