A Busy Day [Niala, Alec, Seraphina, Sicarius, or Invite][NR]

Amaranth had been in her laboratory, preparing for playing mad scientist, when she spotted Niala's arrival on one of the various monitors that flickered through 'channels' on their own that showed various aspects and areas of Sunset Island. So, with a swish of her red hooded cloak she turned on her heel and headed out of the lab so that she could meet Niala on the beach. She didn't want to leave the other female waiting, especially in case she had other duties to do. She didn't know exactly what the female was in charge of over in the office, but she knew she was one of the top people in the Company, and took care of things when everyone was away. No need to keep someone like that waiting.

So, onto the beach she went, putting herself in an obvious path that would allow Niala to see her quite easily: especially since she stuck out against the light tan colored sand like a sore thumb. "Niala, over here!", she called out loud enough for the girl to hear her.

She also glanced off in the distance, wondering if she would see her grandfather and the two girls who would be turned into Kane's... she knew they'd be coming over soon enough, she was sure about it.

Niala spotted Amaranth easily enough against the otherwise neateral colored background of Sunset Island and lowered herself down to the ground where she landed on her feet quite gently. "Hey, Amaranth. Still tropical and sunny over here I see." Niala grinned a bit, rather enjoying the feel of the sun on her face - this place truly was a paradise. "So, not to get straight down to business but I don't know when I'll be needed again, so what is it that you need my help with?", she asked curiously.

While she waited for Amaranth to respond she focused on gathering up her Imagination Manifestation power: she knew that what ever it was Amaranth was about to ask for was definitely going to take some large pools of magic - she just hoped she would be able to make it home on her own steam after everything was said and done. She could have imagined herself strong enough to handle the 'effects' of using her powers, but she thought that that was along the lines of cheating, and had no interest in doing so.

[Imagination Manifestation Prep 1]

Kane came in from directly above. His wings caused waves of sand to be cast in either direction. With his feet touching down within the sunny hot paradise, Alec caused his wings to disappear, and he released his hold on the two females. It was quite hot here, so Alec caused the Symbiote to switch from his hooded cloak and become his usual garb of a sleeveless black cloth zip up top with a big collar, white baggy jogging pants and steel toed boots. The Symbiote turned into what looked like a black liquid substance before becoming what looked to be his new trademark look.

Symbiote:

He looked around while adjusting his Katana and Hunter swords, while still clutching his walking stick. The two silver bracers on both forearms as well as the Metal Cestus glove on his right hand glinted brightly in the bright sun. It'd been a while since the last he was here, and made Kane think that he'd never fully explored this island. Ideas began to brew then and there...

"Here they are, Amaranth. There's no rush though, take your time."

Alec could feel that Niala was building up some energy to do something, but he had no idea what. While brushing white strands of hair from in front of silver colored eyes, he waited to see what exactly was about to happen...

Sicarius looked around as they landed, noticing that Niala had arrived already. Sicarius picked up on the building of energy and quickly noticed it felt along the same thing as what she could do. Brows furrowed slightly and her head tilted to the side. "I've never met anyone who could use their imagination like that... besides myself.", she commented before looking back towards the bright blue ocean. "I can sense it...", she added as explanation.

She then looked over to Amaranth while bouncing on the balls of her feet. "I'm ready, I'm ready!", she repeated with a giggle.

Seraphina likewise looked around the tropical paradise that they had landed on. She couldn't believe that something this wonderful existed so close to a large city. "This place is amazing.", she muttered softly. She glanced over to her neice and smiled gently at her hyper way. She reached over and playfully poked the younger female on the nose before looking between Niala and Sicarius. "Imagine things and make them appear eh? Isn't that how Pyra got here? I'd not want that kind of power, what would happen if you imagined a monster or something?", she teased playfully.

She then too focused on Amaranth as she waited to see when the female wanted to get started.

Amaranth grinned at Niala and then swept her arm in the direction of her island. "Well, a tropical paradise is nice, but not all people or animals for that matter like this climate. So, I'd like for you to do a little expanding for me if you don't mind. Rainforests, snow covered mountains, the desert, the arctic tundra. All of the animals that go along with those areas, plants as well, if you can do it. I heard you can do anything with that mind of yours after all."

Silvery colored eyes shifted to her grandfather and the two girls he had with him that he released after he landed and his wings disappeared. She wanted his clothing change from an outfit that was far too hot for this area to something more comfortable. "Hey grandad. Hey Sicarius and Seraphina. We can get started in a moment. I just want to get this done with right fast since we're already out here. I have everything prepared in my lab and waiting for us.", she explained before looking expectantly towards Niala, hoping that her faith was properly placed in the other female.

Her silvery gaze shifted momentarily to Sicarius who spoke of having the same ability and an eyebrow went up: two people with Imagination Manifestation? That kind of power could be awfully dangerous... but, as long as Sicarius was responsible with it, there shouldn't be any problems.

Niala gave a nod of greeting towards Alec and the two females with him as she kept her focus on Amaranth and listened carefully. Amaranth wanted her island updated to include all sorts of different areas of the world: something that wasn't exactly hard for Niala to do. "I can do that. Amaranth, I'll even divide the areas up so to speak: keep the vacationing population apart from the more 'rough' aspect of the wilderness. That'll keep the animals happy and your vacationers safe."

With the power she had stored up she closed her eyes and focused upon the island itself. She began to pour waves upon waves of this power into the very heart and soul of the place. Her entire being vibrated with a gentle electrical pulse that could easily be felt in the air around her - though harmless for any who did feel it. With her eyes closed she pictured in her minds eye everything that Amaranth wanted: all of the landscapes, the plants, and the animals. One by one the island began to change as area after area was added to it. The beach gave way to the jungles and rainforests that then slopped upwards and towards the mountains. On the other side of the mountains the artic tundra formed. Further out from the tundra began the plains that then turned into the desert. Following this plant life began to sprout up and form as if these locations had been there, untouched, for thousands of ears. Then came the wildlife. Finally, buildings and contained areas for the vacations to be in, while open space remained for the wildlife and more natural habitat.

When Niala was done her eyes opened and she swayed on the spot, utterly exhausted. There was no way she was getting home like this. She knew if she even tried to walk she would likely fall over. "Whoa... ", she muttered softly. "All done, Amaranth." As she spoke her eyelids slowly closed.

Imagination Manifestation:

Alec watched as Sunset Island began to expand. Those imagination powers were something else, but nothing that he wanted to be able to do. Super powers that let you destroy or control someone merely by thinking about it... it was something Alec no longer desired.

With the island now much bigger than it had originally been, Alec began to consider exploring the place in it's entirety... going on another adventure. Perhaps walking from one side of the island to the next, living off the land, depending on his wits to survive. Doing such a thing, creating add-ons to the island was sure to take it's toll on Niala. Alec put his left ungloved hand on her shoulder as he activated his healing factor.

Healing Factor:

He turned his head toward Edge city then, to notice storm clouds gathering in the proximity of the tower. With a frown, he knew something was wrong. Those were no ordinary clouds. Amaranth would instantly come to know this, just with how quickly they gathered, and where.

"...Someone's pissed off Jr. I kinda had a feeling that something else, some other crazy episode was about to pop off. I'd better go over there and see what's going on before he loses it."

Once he was done healing Niala, Kane's wings appeared again, carrying him quickly airborne and towards Edge City.

Sicarius could sense the massive amount of magic that Niala was unleashing and knew that she was changing the island like her and Amaranth had discussed. She had never personally used her powers for such a thing, and didn't really have any intentions of doing so unless someone asked her to.

Her attention shifted off to the distance as she picked up on clouds gathering. She listened to what Alec said and then watched him leave before looking over towards Amaranth. "Suppose we should just get started then?", she asked curiously. Unless, of course, Amaranth intended to take off too.

Seraphina likewise had watched what was going on, and the dark clouds. She simply waited quietly next to Sicarius who once again seemed to take the words out of her own mouth. While her mind wondered she thought of all that Niala had added to the island. It would be an interesting place to explore, perhaps a chance to 'live off the land' like she had done once a long time ago with her family.

Yes, that would definitely be enjoyable. A regular old survival situation. Just what was right up her alley.

Amaranth watched as Niala used her powers to increase the island, feeling it shift and change because of how intuned Amaranth was with it. When Niala was done she looked to be falling asleep where she stood, but soon enough her grandfather handled the problem - at least Niala wouldn't have to worry about going home.

Before she could thank the other female though for her help her gaze snapped over in the direction of Edge City and at the gathering storm. That looked all too familiar and she knew it wasn't a normal storm: Junior was pissed off about something, just as her grandfather had said. She nodded to her grandfather and watched him depart before looking to Niala. "Thank you Niala. You can hang around here if you want to wait out the storm, it's up to you." Amaranth glanced back over to Edge and then looked at Sicarius and Seraphina. "Come on, ladies. Let's get inside."

Amaranth had wanted to go over and see what was going on too, but she had made a promise to herself not to disappear on anymore adventures without letting her parents know. Besides, her grandfather needed this favor from her and she would give it to him. She motioned to the females to follow her, and Niala too if she wanted, and headed to her Underground Lab's secret entrance. She kept the door open for all who came with her and then led them down the tunnels that were see-through and allowed the ocean and animal life within it to be viewed from beneath the water. Once into her lab she pointed towards some chairs they could sit in. "We have to wait for my grandad to return... I always burn his blood samples after we're finished this way no one can get their hands on them. So, I'll need fresh ones..."

Niala felt the healing factor of Alec's go into effect, erasing the tired feeling that had over-taken her. "Thanks, Alec.", she said, appreciatively. She then followed everyone's gaze towards Edge and frowned: something was going on and she needed to get back over there to see what it was.

She nodded to Amaranth when she was thanked. "Anytime, really. I'd stay, but I think I should head back. Something big has to be going on." She waved goodbye and then lifted herself into the air, flying back towards Edge City.

A strange distortion began to open in the lab. To whoever was watching, it would look like saran wrap being twisted in a circle. A black hole opened in the middle of the circle, and someone began to emerge from within the folds.

Kamui:

Alec emerged from within. He landed feet first on the floor of the lab, still wet from the rain around the tower from Jr's anger clouds. There was a troubled look on his face, his left hand gripping his walking stick tightly. But, he wasn't going to let the girls in on what was going on, not yet. This wasn't the time for that.

"I'm back... I forgot that you needed a sample of my blood for this to get underway. I figured you'd have kept some down here from last time, but you must get rid of it huh? Good thinking..."

Alec could only hope Vigilante knew what he was doing. He must have had some plan, some new trick up his sleeve since he said he wanted to do it alone. Seeing as he now had a whole new suit on, He was going to go with that...

Sicarius followed Amaranth into her lab, looking around with fascination at the fish and colorful underwater plant life she could see through the 'walls' of the underground lab. She followed Amaranth into the labratory and sat in the chair she had indicated. She hadn't bothered asking if the process was painful and rather hoped it wasn't. She knew that when people got bitten and turned into a vampire that way that it was exceptionally painful for the first few hours.. hopefully this wouldn't be anything like that.

She simply shrugged her shoulders when Amaranth had spoken of having to wait for Alec and had amused herself with staring out the window at the fish outside. Her cat ears and tail swiveled and twitched as her feline instincts that had her wanting to go out there and catch one rose up. But, she fought them back and remained where she had been seated, waiting patiently.

She then looked over at the strangeness going on at the lab, a startled hiss of a sound escaping her before she realized it was only Alec. "Scared me!"

Seraphina looked around Amaranth's lab too, though she was more fascinated with all of the technology rather than the fish like Sicarius was. She looked over when Alec appeared and then expectantly to Amaranth, wondering what was going to happen now.

Amaranth looked over at the strange side effects beginning to take place in her laboratory before her grandfather appeared. She gave a nod to his words and nodded towards the chair she usually had him sit in when she was drawing his blood. "I don't want to risk it falling into the wrong hands, so anytime I have extra from anyone I throw it into the incinerator. Usually before they leave. No use in having someone else try and play god, too." She would wait until her grandfather was seated with his sleeve rolled up before she got to work sterilizing the area she would draw the blood from: even if her grandfather was immune to everything and anything she didn't like to take risks. She would then draw several vials of his blood after the whole poke and stick routine.

Following this she would motion for the girls to lay down on the pre-made beds. While they were getting situated she would run the blood, a vial each, through two different machines. One machine would change Alec's blood in such a way as to turn Sicarius into a clone of Alec much the same as she was at the moment to Maxi while the other machine would change Alec's blood in such a method and manner that would, when used on Seraphina, turn her into his younger sister.

When the first machine beeped she pulled out the vial and filled a syringe before going over to Sicarius. "All you'll feel is a pinch. The transformation is painless. Don't freak out, you'll probably lose some hair, but it'll grow back quickly enough: side effect from your feline traits being destroyed." After she calmly explained things to her she injected the female as long as she didn't change her mind and began the process of the change for her which would turn her into a mini female version of Alec. While Sicarius was changing Amaranth placed the syringe and empty vial down on a nearby metal table and went over to the next machine that was beeping. She pulled out the next vial, filled a fresh syringe and went over to Seraphina. "Again, you'll feel a pinch but otherwise it'll be painless. You'll probably get a feeling of divine peace or something: Sicarius was already part angel, but since you're not you'll likely notice that difference." If Seraphina didn't change her mind she would inject her too, starting the process to change her into Alec Kane's sister.

She stepped back, taking the empty vials, extra samples, and the syringes and going instantly over to the incinerator; metal tray and all. She threw the whole lot into the fire where it burned up instantly, causing the flames to turn blue and white for several seconds.

By the time she turned around she knew the transformation of the two females would be completed and they'd both have the trademark white hair and silver eyes that every other Kane had. She glanced over to the wall of her underground lab, looking out it for a moment as if she half expected Maximillian or one of his family members to appear and try and blow the place up or something for her helping to take away two more family members of his. Her brow furrowed slightly in worry.

As Alec was wearing his sleeveless black top still, taking his blood would be easy. He went and sat in the chair she nodded towards and relaxed as she took some of his blood. There was the usual pinch of the syringe penetrating his vein, but the small sting was barely felt because of his healing factor.

Who were these guys behind all of this? What was this Apple of Eden thing they were talking about? How the hell did they get their hands on technology to cancel out people's powers, and why hadn't he noticed these guys before? There were many questions that had to be answered. Perhaps his father knew something he didn't. Perhaps this was bigger than him, and his father chose to keep him and the family out of it, as he sometimes did. If anyone could answer some of these questions, it would most likely be him.

But Alec knew it was pointless to go looking for him. He had abilities to shield himself from even his closest family when he'd go wandering. Alec would just have to wait for his father to re-emerge...

Sicarius felt her fangs re-tract and then disappear as if they never existed. The cracked halo that normally hung, faded from view, above her head fixed itself and began to glow brightly. A strange feeling came for a moment from her tailbone which was her tail shrinking in on itself and then disappearing completely: like Amaranth had said only soft pink fur was left behind on the bed she was laying upon. This same feeling came from the top of her head and she knew that her feline ears were likewise disappearing while new 'human' ears grew on the sides of her head. Her hair remained the same length but changed from the soft pink color it was to white.

Her eyes also felt momentarily strange as the vision around her dimmed and then sharpened again and she knew that her eyes had changed to silver and she had likely lost the Auspex ability that was from her Malkavian heritage. When she could feel nothing else strange coming from herself she sat up slowly and carefully. Catching her reflection in the glass as the sea and sky darkened outside of the lab she took notice of herself and giggled, rather pleased with how she looked.

Seraphina felt the pinch of the syringe's needle being put into her arms and closed her eyes. She took a deep and even breath to keep herself calm even if this whole process was still a tad bit frightening to her. She felt a warmth spread through her as the effects began to happen, her body streghtening and quickening as powers she never had before appeared. The divine peace that Amaranth mentioned was next and it was a very calming feeling, one that actually began to radiate out of her and into her surrounding area.

When she could feel nothing else around her changing she opened her eyes and sat up slowly much like Sicarius had. She then looked over to her neice and smiled as she watched her examining herself. She looked over in the same reflection as her. She then shifted her attention to Alec, and her brows drew together slightly. "Something's wrong... ", she commented simply, figuring that if he wanted to explain he would: it was just something she could feel in her heart.

Amaranth focused her attention from outside and over to the girls. Their transformations seemed to go alright and she knew they likely wouldn't remember Nova, Maxi, or anyone else for that matter outside of the Kane family. It would be as if they had always existed as they are: the same way it was with Demi. Only those who had come before would know the difference, and they likely wouldn't say a thing just like they didn't when it came to Demi.

She looked over expectantly to her grandfather just as Sicarius and Seraphina did, wondering what was going on. She hadn't bothered letting it distract her while she was busy working, but now she could focus on it.

Alec looked over to see the effects take place, just as they had with Demi all those years ago. Alec didn't want to keep doing this. Somewhere, someone had to be watching, taking note of him making members of someone else's family his. Now he had a sister, and a female clone of himself. Since they had his blood, that meant he could now feel them as easily as he could feel Jr, Dez, and Amaranth.

Already, Seraphina could pick up on the fact that something was wrong. He already knew that Amaranth knew, and that she would find out for herself sooner or later. But he still wan't going to let on to the fact, because he didn't want to trouble them on only their first day  becoming a part of the Kane family.

"...I'm just tired. I ran around in a city full of zombies for a few days, I haven't had a proper night's rest. I was thinking of going on a survival expedition to explore this island, now that there's been more added on to it, but first I need to go home, let my people know i'm alright, and get some rest. What would you two like to do? You could stay here, you could go back to Edge, or could could come with me to Makkura. There's plenty of places for you two to go now, and there someone in every place who will watch over you."

No, he couldn't trouble them with this just yet. Whatever this was, it was only in it's first stages; the prequel. Alec knew there would be more to come....

Sicarius listened as Alec explained that he had been running around in a city full of zombies and her mouth opened slightly in shock. "Oh man. Zombies are creepy. That probably stunk!", she said, nodding as she did so. She then thought about what Alec said: there was someone in each Edge, Sunset and Makkura that would keep an eye out for them, and that they could go where ever they wanted. "I have the urge to go to Edge and hug Demi till she explodes.", Sicarius said after a moment as she slid off of the table.

She looked around and scratched her head. "Hm." She left her thoughts at that and wandered over to Alec, hugging him tightly before she would walk out of the lab and take off towards Edge and towards Darkman Tower.

Seraphina listened to Alec's explanation and tilted her head: while such an adventure sounded definitely tiring it also sounded very fun. Then he was asking about where they wanted to go and Seraphina grinned at the idea of a survival adventure. "I think I'll come with you.", she said as she got up and off of the table. She was still radiating that peaceful feeling and she looked down at herself for a moment. She felt strange... but she couldn't remember exactly why, and for some reason she had a thought in her head that it was better not trying to find out.

"Could I come with you on that survival adventure? It sounds like fun. I won't get in the way, I promise.", she asked as she waited to follow Alec out and over to Makkura.

Amaranth let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes. She too wanted some rest after that long zombie adventure. She couldn't wait to get a nice hot shower and some sleep. "Think I'm going to turn in... unless someone else needs me for something?" She would wait to see if anyone did, give her grandfather and Seraphina a quick hug, before she went and walked out the door and down the hall to her room...

[Exit]

After first hugging who was now a female clone of him, then hugging Amaranth, Alec stood up again, causing the Symbiote to cover him in his familiar hooded cloak, since Makkura always seemed to have a slight chill in the air. A companion on his trek across the island didn't sound like a bad idea.

"Fine with me. For now though, you can come get to know everyone back home in Makkura. I need to crash..."

After putting an arm around his new sister, Kamui opened once more, and dragged the both of them inside.
