Name: Assassin Type: Personal Description: The user is trained in all ways of the Assassin. To utilize this SC one must have at least +10 strength and speed. This SC can only be learned by training with Assassins. Parkour / Freerunning A form of acrobatics, in which participants navigate through a landscape by performing fluid movements over and across urban or natural structures. - Specifics:
Vertical movement In general, vertical movements involved climbing or scaling structures that provided adequate handholds, or a texture rough enough to grip. Inversely, they also allowed one to safely drop down from a height.
Wallpass was the act of climbing a tall wall by kicking its surface once to propel upwards. Climb-up was the movement of pulling oneself up onto an obstacle from a hanging position. Drop was the act of jumping downwards, after releasing one's grip from a hanging position or bar. Long jump was a leap from a high height, and was usually followed by a break fall. Climb leap was a vertical jump while holding onto a vertical surface, which allowed one to grab potentially out-of-reach handholds. Beam jump was performed from horseback, (or a vehicle like a motorcycle) and allowed one to use the horse's momentum to leap from the saddle, grab a beam, and swing around to either land on it, or on an adjacent one. Leap of Faith was performed only by trained Assassins and Abstergo recruits, which involved leaping from a significant height onto a cushioned material.
Horizontal movement Horizontal movements generally involved moving over large distances such as swimming, sprinting, running or walking, or methods that allowed one to clear obstacles, such as gaps or breaks.
Swing was a movement in which one swung onto a bar and let go, enabling one to grab another object or drop to the ground. Pass involved quickly and smoothly passing over medium sized obstacles. Break fall was a forward roll where the hands, arms, and diagonal of the back made contact with the ground. Arm jump was to land on the side of an obstacle in a hanging position, hands gripping the top edge and holding the body in place. Back eject was to jump backwards from a hanging position onto an opposite structure. Gap jump was performed similarly to a long jump, except over an open expanse between two relatively level areas. Precision jump was a moving jump from one object to a specific spot on another object, usually with a small surface. Dive was only used with merchant stalls, where one jumped hands-first through an open stall and used a roll to get back up quickly. Spring jump could only be done using a springboard, such as those in the Oltrarno District of Florence. It allowed one to jump forward twice as far, through the external force of the device. Corner swing was when one would sharply turn a corner, by jumping forward and grabbing onto a lantern (or any other fixture) mounted on a building's corner, then using one's momentum to swing on it. Vault was to use one's own momentum to pass over or slide under obstacles
Stealth The ability to possess extraordinarily skillful expertise in numerous ways and techniques of stealth. - Specifics:
The user possesses incredibly extensive knowledge and skill in many types and ways of stealth tactics, enabling them to easily slip in and out of areas undetected. Their abilities in all manners of stealth are so refined they appear as mere illusions to those who have been lucky to spot the user. The users of this ability can move throughout even the most guarded of areas and act in true discretion.
Knife and Sword fighting The user has trained extinsively in the use of stabbing weapons. - Specifics:
Users have an incredible aptitude for the ways of the sword and dagger. They are able to wield small blades with great proficiency and cunning as well as stealth; concealing multiple knives on their person flawlessly, to be retrieved at will in combat.
Applications Extreme skill with all forms of sword and dagger, paired with the ease with which such weapons may be hidden on the body, allows the user to employ a richly varied fighting style: switching between any number of exotic types of knife mid-battle to hack, jab, hook or otherwise harm a target. More powerful users of this ability may even use some specialized varieties of dagger in ways they were not designed for, such as throwing a stiletto accurately or impaling with a curved blade. Trick moves, misdirection and feints to add to the user's abilities in combat as well as for the purposes of display. The ability to target and exploit an opponent's vital points with flawless accuracy, often in order to make a swift, silent kill or disable without inflicting lethal wounds. Some varieties of dagger lend themselves to throwing, in which case the user's aim can be expected to be nigh perfect, even in the middle of combat or when throwing multiple weapons. In addition, this may allow the user to pin targets down through their opponent's clothing or flesh, preventing them from moving without actually killing them.
Gun Fighting The ability to be highly proficient in handling a gun. - Specifics:
Users are highly skilled with all types of guns allowing them to perform great feats and benefit in a far ranged combat. Users are to have excellent bull-eyes aim on their target via bullets.
Users are also able to operate all variations of guns. They can create guns as well as repair them. Also to have an expert knowledge of guns and handling them. Users have excellent intuition on trigger-initiated, hand-held, and hand-directed implements, especially with an extending bore, which thereby resemble the class of weapon in either form or concept.
General Description: A brown bomber jacket and tight leather pants gave away long bones with not much meat on them. Hair only a few shades whiter than Jayr’s milky flesh was shagged short around big shadowed eyes and full lips. A scent hung around Jayr that was caused naturally, like a beautiful perfume: spicy and sweet at the same time. A black bandanna was tied folded until it resembled an inch thick strip and helped to hold back the shaggy hair from being in front of violet colored eyes. Despite being female Jayr hadn’t gone through puberty due to a birth defect, meaning that Jayr’s breasts were no larger than a B cup and easily hidden beneath the jacket and white tunic top she wore; giving her the appearance of a feminine male, and easily allowing her to blend in with other men without second thought. About You: History: Like all stories there has to be a beginning before there can be a middle or and end and Jayr's story is no different. However, it might be said that it is if anything more unbelievable than the average story... Jayr is the bastard child of the legendary foe of kings, friend of the poor and downtrodden, Robin Hood: known then as Robin of Locksley. Robin had once been a noble with a large estate, plenty of title and rank to go around, and a face that was known to make the ladies swoon. However, Robin had eyes for no one save Maiden Maryan. Maryan had eyes for no one but God and had no greater dream than to join the local convent and live the rest of the days of her young life as a nun. Being of noble birth, and an only child, her father was not about to allow that to happen. Living in a period of time where a woman had no say there was nothing Maryan could do to stop her father from marrying her off to Guy of Guisseborn. Maryan fell into a depression before Guy could consummate the marriage and he was at a loss to figure out how to snap her out of it. Robin heard of this predicament and kidnapped Maryan and took her far from the reaches of Guy: though no one to this day knows if this was to save Maryan or just so Robin could have her for himself. When the King found out about this, Robin, who had called Sheerwood home up to that point, found himself stripped of rank and title and found his money and estates gone too - all were handed over to Guy: which started Robin's story as the incredible thief and archer who who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Though speculation continues to be nothing more than guesswork on the subject of the sex between Robin and Maryan being consensual or forced, she soon found herself pregnant with Jayr. This revelation seemed to force Maryan into an even deeper spiral of depression, as she felt herself falling farther away from God, and she ran away to then take refuge in a church. Nine months later Jayr was born, and Maryan died in child birth. Robin, hearing that the only woman he ever loved was dead left Jayr to be raised by the nuns: he wanted nothing to do with her at that point because he blamed her for her mother's death. Unknown to him though the nuns who raised her were part of an order of female assassin's - a branch of the much larger group whose purpose was to thrawt the Templars - and thus they began to raise Jayr in their teachings while training her to be one of the best assassin's ever known. When Jayr hit her teens it became apparent that she wasn't going to go through puberty: while very much a female she could easily pass as a feminine male if she was to cut her hair short. Knowing that she would never get the kind of rank and respect as a female that she would as a man that's exactly what she did. On the eve of her 17th birthday she chopped her hair short, dawned male clothing, and started an even more secret life than she had lived before. Jayr rose up quickly through the ranks, and never turned down an assignment. On her 18th birthday she received an assignment to assassinate Robin Hood. Not knowing that this was her father she set to her task with the same great dedication she had shown all others. When she caught up to Robin she found out that he had been tipped off about the assassination attempt and Jayr fell for his trap. Robin wasted no time in explaining who he was to her, and how it had taken him years to forgive her for her mother's death but how he finally had. He also chose then to divulge his own personal secret - he was an immortal. He bestowed this immortality upon Jayr without giving her a choice, claiming that he would rather risk her hating him for an eternity than living far less than that. After that Jayr was freed and she fled. It took her several years to come to terms with what she now was, and she was surprised to find the assassin's waiting still for her with open arms when she returned. They saw no issues with what she had become because they knew that her new abilities would help them to further their goals and more easily dispatch their enemies. Which was exactly what had happened. Jayr was even greater an assassin than before and could handle much harder targets alone, ensuring each job she did was successful. She became a teacher, taking on one student at a time which she would hone into a lethal assassin just like herself....
