| There were zombies in the factories district back home, so this was nothing new. The question at the moment had to be, how the hell did he end up here?
Alec began to think that maybe he was put here for some sort of purpose. In the middle of downtown Pacific City, which was now pretty much the center of a zombie apocalypse. An ocean of them, all the former residents of this big city that constantly got compared with Edge.
It wasn't like Alec didn't know that the brains behind this place got ahead of themselves and dabbled in the sort of science best left to Gods, which ended up destroying them and killing millions of innocent people, now all doomed to seek out and consume flesh mindlessly.
It also wasn't like Alec wasn't prepared to take on an endless onslaught of the living dead either, even with the fact that no Supernatural Abilities worked here. This knowledge just made Alec grin. This sort of thing he'd grown up doing, against The Kingdom. His game changing powers may not have worked, but his vast knowledge was still intact. As was his enhanced conditioning and his ability to bend certain rules.
Perhaps it was the tampering with the dimensions while stealing an entire country from another world, or some of that strange Makkura magic that suddenly just placed him here. Alec went to sleep like normal last night, to wake up here, lying on top of what used to be a bus. At first Alec thought he was still dreaming, but the nasty smell of death was all too real in his nostrils. The undead were everywhere, some of them reaching up toward Alec with cold, dead eyes while he stood there, rubbing his chin, assessing the situation.
He didn't have his dufflebag, but he didn't need it. There was his bag, with all the items picked up from the vacation in ninja land in it. The Blind Fury stick sword, the Kane Katana, and his newly constructed Folding Bow. Plenty to defend himself with from the get go. There would always be opportunities to grab whatever weapons he came across while moving through this doomed city as well.
The woman and child were fine back home in Makkura, far away from this nightmare he awoke into. Alec figured he'd spend some time here as a second vacation and see how many people he could save. There was always the chance that he could die in here somewhere seeing as he was weaker here, but Alec loved a challenge, as bad as that sounded in a tragedy like this. The Jr was in charge of Edge now, and his other kids as well as grandkids were all fine.
So, the first course of action would be to get off of this makeshift metal lifeboat out in the middle of an ocean of sharks. Makuing sure the Kane Katana was secure at his hip and his Folding Bow mechanism was attached properly to his arms, Alec jumped off of the bus, several dozen feet into the air. He landed on the roof of a car, his impact enough to shatter all of the windows and cave in the roof somewhat. After landing he'd jump again before the thousands of hands that began reaching for him could touch, aiming himself for one of the nearby skyscrapers. It was easy enough to kick in one of the windows with steel toed boots.
The stick sword was out and slicing through the heads of the several Walkers that were on the floor of the skyscraper; a work area filled with cubicles and desks. The place seemed to be where operators worked; telemarketers who called your house trying to sell you shit you didn't really need. Their rotting corpses, still dressed in suits and dresses stained by bodily fluids and the blood of their co-workers and those unfortunate enough to have crossed their paths, shuffled across the office as they tried making a meal out of Alec, only to be felled by razor sharp Cold Steel (A nearly unbreakable metal he found in the other world.) The noise began to attract walkers from other areas of the building, and Alec managed to get to the door and close it before this office area got too crowded. The walkers that came at him in this room weren't standing for very long. Alec shook off the excess guts and blood from the Stick Sword before re-sheathing it, and began to look around the place for any supplies that he could salvage...

| While the Underground Lab held many supplies Michonne didn't like the idea of just relying on that; doing so would cause the supplies to run out sooner rather than later, and if she really needed them then she would be stuck. So, with that sort of thinking in mind she had taken off around the time that the sun began to rise with the idea in mind of checking out several different locations she had mapped on one of several maps of the city she had found in the lab. She had brought with her a mostly empty shoulder leather bag that held a bottle of water, a pack of crackers, and the map in question: leaving the rest of the room for whatever it was she stumbled across.
She had gone through the possibility of stores being very low on supplies; most people would have freaked at the first signs of the outbreak and cleaned out the stores of supplies. So, her best option would be to look in the actual downtown area of the city; at least until she felt the urge to move outward from there and check places like the residential areas and even further out into the country.
So, with her bow, quiver of 10 arrows, and her sword strapped to her she had taken off. Due to there being a lack of weather reports she had thrown her gray and black hoodie on over top of the black tank top she wore underneath. Her shorts were cut off at the ends due to once being pants; giving them a ragged and worn look. Feet were planted firmly into a pair of combat boots; socks coming up just above her knees. Her white hair was up on a bun with several strands sticking out; all to keep it out of her way in case she had to suddenly use her bow; and which showed her pointed ears - a sign of her elven heritage, as was her darkly tanned skin.
She wasn't too worried about the undead bothering her; given she was infected with an enhanced version of their virus they didn't pay her any attention - it was one of the reasons why she hadn't bailed out of the city with everyone else. However, she did have bandits and the less desirable to worry about, so she kept her weapons on her regardless. She had been moving down one particular street, the zombies around paying no particular attention to her which allowed her to blend in, when she suddenly looked up and noticed a man escaping from the top of a bus. She watched him jump, far higher than she ever saw a human jump before, and end up in a skyscraper after kicking the window in.
With her curiosity peaked she followed; darting through and around the zombies with ease, drawing closer to the building in question... all while wondering why someone would still be around in this downtown area, let alone out in the open like that. Was this another enhanced infected like herself? Or something else entirely? Time would tell...

| A zippo lighter. Alec picked it up and shook it next to an ear, listening to see if it had any fluid left in it, which it did. He opened it and gave it a flick, watching the blue flame spark to life. This would come in handy later. Closing the zippo he stuffed it into a pants pocket. Next, Alec came across a coat rack with a black Uchiha hoodie hanging from it. As he didn't have control of the elements or the ability to make the area around him warm anymore, Alec snatched the hoodie and threw it on over his shoulders, sliding his arms into both sleeves. Further searching of the large office room turned up some unopened M&M's and 2 bottles of water, one of which he immediately guzzled down. His throat was dry anyway. The other he stashed in his bag for later. Water would probably be a precious commodity in a nightmare like this. While walking out into the main hall he unfolded his bow from beneath his sleeve and connected the zippo to it. He tested it with an arrow from the quiver device beneath his other sleeve. A flaming arrow would work wonders. There was a walker in the dark halls that had lights blinking on and off, eating the remains of an unfortunate victim. Alec fired an arrow, catching the beast on fire. After doing a zombie dance, the thing went down. Knowing that this would likely draw the attention of others on this floor, Alec quickly made his way to a stairwell and up to the next floor... - Folding Bow:
Name: Folding Bow - Appearance:
Type: Weapon Rank: S Upgrade Slots: 3 Affinities: Wind, Lightning, Fire Description: A discreet long range weapon of Alec's own design, able to be folded up and stashed beneath his left sleeve. It includes a mechanism that will fold and unfold the bow in under a second, and a specialized quiver which delivers arrows directly to his right hand. A 500 foot thread (500 feet is a little more than one and a half football fields, or the height of a fifty story building) attached to the bow which can be quickly connected to arrows while notching allows Alec to control the projectile's trajectory within the range of the thread with Chakra. This in combination with Sensory/Ocular abilities makes accuracy unparalleled and missing nearly impossible. Arrow speeds averaging 181 feet per second Draw weight 47 lbs at 26", 52" at 27", 55 Lbs at 28". Higher for longer draw lengths

| As Michonne neared the building she tilted her head back and looked up; counting the stories to the broken window that the individual she had just seen went in through. She had two choices as to how she could get up there, the same way that the individual had, or entering into the building and taking the steps. Figuring that the stairs would come across as less threatening then her barging in through the window would, she darted into the building.
The building was crawling with zombies, but just like outside they paid her no mind at all. She moved around them, going so far as to shove a few who were in her way out of the way so she didn't have to slow down. She wasn't going to bother with the elevators; the last thing she wanted to do was get trapped, and seeing the way the lights were flickering, that was likely to happen - who knew when the lights would fully go out and the rest of the electricity with it? She followed the emergency signs to the stairs and opened the door to the stairwell. There were several dead bodies lying about, or the remains of them, and a few of the undead, some of which were still feasting away and didn't even spare her a glance.
After shoving one of the zombies over the railing where it fell down into the basement with a splat of a sound, she started up the staircase. As she went she debated on calling out; her voice would echo well enough given the way the stairwell was built which meant she would likely be heard, but it could also draw the attention of the zombies and the last thing she wanted to do was bring them down on the individual if he wasn't in fact infected. So, keeping her mouth shut she began to climb, passing sign after sign that stated which floor she was on. When she reached the floor she had seen the individual enter into she stepped out into the hallway where she began to search the floor. She headed in the direction; taking note of the carnage, including the flaming zombie. The smell caused her nose to wrinkle and she retraced her steps backwards, heading up the staircase since she hadn't seen any signs of him entering into any lower floors; given all of the dead still walking around on them that she had seen through the windows.
Once she reached a floor up she opened the stairwell door and stepped out, looking around to see if she could spot the individual she had seen...

| At the far end of the hall were large double doors. Alec pulled on the hood of his new zip up jacket – leaving it unzipped – while making his way down the dark hallway that stank of blood and something else... possibly fecal matter. The long dead remains of someone, or something, stained the floors.
The hall to the right was filled with walkers, who hadn't seen Alec yet. He was able to ascertain that these things operated by sound and smell. Taking on large crowds of these things wasn't exactly a smart idea. Seeing as none of his supernatural abilities worked here, Alec knew he wouldn't exactly be able to heal himself if injured. So he figured it would a good idea from this point on to avoid crowds and unnecessary fights if he could.
Silently he pushed opened the double doors, just to cause something to crash and shatter on the other side. Cursing under his breath as the crowd in the hall turned and began their zombie shuffle in his direction, Alec went into the next room and pushed the doors closed behind him, barricading it closed with furniture located on either side of the door.
...Just to turn around and be faced with another crowd in this room, which appeared to be a cafeteria. They began moving toward him, reaching in his direction.

| Michonne had started down the main hallway, looking into every room to see if she could spot the person she had seen earlier. She looked left and right respectively as she moved, but all she continued to see where the dead, undead, and half eaten. The further down the hallway she went the more she felt like this was all pointless and that she should turn around and go back to searching for supplies especially as the smell caused her nose to begin to wrinkle again in disgust; at least until a loud crash reached her ears and caused her to jump slightly because she hadn't been expecting it. Following this crash, her ears still ringing, she could just make out the sound of doors being shut. While zombies could end up causing loud sounds to happen by bumping into things they normally didn't close doors behind themselves. No, this had to be the person she was looking for.
She moved forward towards the sound as did the zombies located on the same floor; but like before she paid them no mind, it wasn't like they could do anything to her that hadn't already been done. She reached the door and pushed but realized it wasn't going to give; at least not that easily. With the zombies thickening outside of the door she frowned and looked around, thinking quickly. She needed another way into that room outside of the door. A window wouldn't work because nine out of ten chances the wind would be so heavy she would end up being blown off of the edge before she could make it. No, she needed another way. Under wouldn't work; it would take her far too long to actually go in through the floor. But the ceiling....
Michonne turned her attention the ceiling, noticing that it, like most offices, had the drop top tiles. She went into a nearby office and pulled out the first thing she could find to stand on which happened to be a little black filing cabinet. She pushed it over to the wall and stepped on top of it. She pushed the ceiling tile above her aside and carefully pulled herself up. Just like she thought the rooms were connected; no barrier outside of random pipes that likely once carried water to the room behind, in her way. She moved forward carefully, remaining on the wooden beams so she didn't fall through the ceiling itself, moving until she was sure she was above the other room. Then, she moved the tile in front of her aside; revealing the cafeteria below. She stuck her head down and looked in; looking around to see what she could see.
She let out a low whistle; hoping not to distract the guy but to alert him of her presence so he didn't end up attacking her. If anything she would have just opened an escape route up for him; she was more than willing to back up out of the way if he wanted out of the room he was in; and the area she opened was close to the barricaded door.

| ”INCOMING!!”It took him a while to search, scanning the buildings, alleys, passages. This place was hell. It was just like one of those scary movies he would stay up late to watch. He couldn't believe this was happening. But, there he was, as clear as day on the scanners, inside of a big building on the 10th floor. Like a black comet, The Vigilante sped straight into the building through the glass windows, sliding to a stop on the floor. He pointed his arms and released the large amount of built up kinetic energy he'd gathered in his momentum while traveling here, which would blow all of the undead moving toward his former boss into random areas of the room. Bodies would go flying, crashing into tables, walls and other things. ”Bossman! Lookin good after 5 years!” He gave Alec a pat on his left shoulder. ”Come on! I came to rescue you! All aboard the Vigilante express!” He turned and crouched to allow Alec to get onto his back if he wanted... - Spoiler:
Body (Torso & Legs): Constructed with an experimental engine that runs on kinetic energy, always being recharged simply by movement, meaning little to no repair or maintenance will be required. This energy can also be gathered and used in the form of a shockwave defensive measure (Per post, with more devastating effects with more gathered.) The body portion further augments the user's strength (+1) and stamina. The user is able to lift upwards of several dozen tons with ease.

| The stick sword was out and ready to make zombie cold cuts. There appeared to be something up in the ceiling too. Alec wasn't scared, made obvious by the ear to ear grin on his face. He'd have to cut his way through this crowd, quickly check the area for anything of value, and get out of here asap.
He was about to start with the cutting when there was another noise. Someone yelled INCOMING before bursting onto the scene and releasing what looked to be some kind of shockwave, which swept all of the walkers in the room from their feet. Some of them went rag dolling throughout the cafeteria, but of course, this wasn't the end of them. Some of them immediately began to stand again.
Alec looked closely at this noisy new arrival, and saw that it was none other than The Vigilante. He hadn't seen this kid in 5 years. It made sense that he'd come, and Alec quickly figured things out. It was probably Jr that sent him here, on a rescue mission. Vigilante's suit ran on man made technology, which meant this “Dead Zone” they had here in Pacific wouldn't work on anything but that weird ability of his to shut off other people's abilities. He'd be the perfect candidate for a rescue job.
”Vigilante... fancy seeing you here.”
Alec didn't get on his back. He instead moved with inhuman speed, slicing through the forehead of the nearest walker. Just as quickly did he move off, slicing through the head of another. He decided to take advantage of the undead while they were down, disoriented, attempting to get back onto their feet. Only a minute had passed by the time Alec moved through the whole cafeteria, introducing the brains of the zombies to his steel toed boots and razor sharp stick sword. He shook off the excess guts while walking back over to where Vigilante stood, re-sheathing his weapon.
”Do me a favor and keep your voice down... While I appreciate the rescue attempt, i'm afraid I can't take you up on your offer. I was put here in this city for a reason... I'm not leaving here until I get to the bottom of this madness. If I get killed, then I just get killed, or end up as one of these things. You can go back and tell Jr and Dez not to worry about me. Whatever's gonna happen is just gonna happen, i'm ready for it.”

| Michonne was about to whistle again when she heard someone shouting "Incoming" before they came rushing into the room, letting out a shock-wave of some kind that knocked all of the zombies on their asses. While that was rather comical to see, and not something seen every day, Michonne didn't even crack a smile; instead she kept her well composed look in her face while debating on dropping herself down into the room or not. She listened carefully to the brief conversation that the pair had; realizing that this new arrival, whoever he was, was here to rescue the man she had been following. Due to what the new arrival called him she figured this man was in some sort of position of power.
She had been about to back away, to allow them to leave without knowing she was there, when she heard the man she had been following say that he wasn't leaving; that he wanted to find the reason behind all of this. That caused her to pause and look down into the room once more, brows furrowed as she was stumped as to why someone - outside of her - would willingly stay in a dangerous situation.
Hearing these words she figured it was time to allow her presence to be known. So, upon shifting herself around on the beam she had been laying on, she lowered herself into the room. She dropped softly and landed in a crouch. Her hand went to her blade, unsheathing the sword which flashed out with a glint from the overhead lights; with a slash she beheaded the zombie closest to her. While it hadn't even moved to attack her she didn't want anyone to realize too quickly that the zombies didn't attack her; better she play along and draw as little attention to herself and her 'condition' as possible. She didn't know who these two were after all, or if she could trust them or not, already she felt like she was taking on a big risk - but, if this man was here to help then the last thing she wanted to do was see him fail. She had seen too many do that already.

| Big V was speechless. This was Alec's chance to get out of here and go home, and he didn't want to leave? What would he go back home and tell Jr? ”Bossman... I can't just leave you here like this! No way man, do I really have to drag you back to your family? If I go home empty handed your son is gonna stomp my head in!... I reeeeeally don't wanna have to take you outta here by force, but seeing as you can't do all that Godly stuff here there isn't anything you'd be able to do to stop me--”The sound of something behind him caused him to spin around and take his fighting stance. V turned to see a girl, cutting the head off one of the freaks. Scanners in the suit quickly analyze her, deducting her to be a massive threat level. - Spoiler:
Scanner Vision The power to perform complex visual scans. Applications

The broad with the pig sticker had similar readings to the many dead in the room. Was she a zombie? It didn't make any sense. These things were your basic zombie in any horror movie. They were stupid and just wanted to eat you. The broad here had intelligence. What she'd see was a dude dressed in a black suit made of a metallic alloy, a red “V” on the chest. He wore army fatigue cargo pants. The mask on his face had no visible features. This funky field that surrounded this nightmare did nothing from stopping his suit from working. ”We have company...and from what my scanner tells me, she's one of them. She must be some kinda...smart zombie. Advanced...You sure you still wanna stay here, bossman?'

| ”You can and you will 'just leave me here like this.' I may not be able to use any of my abilities but i'm far from helpless. Your knowledge and your physical abilities still work just fine here. So if you think I wouldn't be able to stop you from dragging me out of here, think again. You may be a prodigy, but so was I. I haven't seen you in 5 years, and we were cool before I left, but if I have to whoop your ass you best believe I--”Alec spun to face the intruder at the same time that Vigilante did. This time, he drew the Kane Katana from his hip. It still shimmered and glowed with the strange powers he'd imbued it with over in ninja land, the glow resembling water or heated up air, but he knew he couldn't use it to it's full potential. - Kane Katana:
Name: Kane Katana - Appearance:
Type: Weapon Rank: S Upgrade Slots: 3 Affinities: Wind, Lightning, Fire Description: Beautiful craftsmanship smothers every inch of this custom sword. The handle offers intricate nylon cord wrapping with cast metal pommel and guard accented with brass plated fittings. The 25 3/4" blade is heat tempered, “Cold Steel” construction (Cold Steel being a nearly unbreakable metal only found in Korigakure). Includes a classic black lacquer scabbard. 40" overall.
The woman here had a sword too, using it to effortlessly behead a walker. Alec began to think that maybe she was a survivor, until Vigilante revealed the next bit of information. She had the same readings as the dead walkers on the floor, and suggested that she was possibly an advanced kind of walker, an intelligent flesh eater. This meant that there was more to this whole zombie thing, an untold story. Alec, he stood 6 feet 6 inches. He had a young face that looked barely out of it's teens, but he was actually much, much older. He was wearing a black sleeveless leather zip up top underneath a black Uchiha hoodie – the red and white fan symbol large upon his back - with the hood up, baggy but loose fitting white pants and steel toed boots. He had silver colored eyes, pale colored skin, and what could be seen of Alec's shoulder length hair was white. A halo could be seen above Alec's head, but it no longer contained the glow that usually hovered about it. ”...I'm sure about staying here, V... Don't try to stop me... Also, I left Jr in charge, so i'm not your boss anymore. You don't have to keep calling me that...”Alec began to make for the windows. She might have had some intelligence, but he didn't trust her. He didn't want to waste the energy it would take to tangle with this female. He needed to gain some space and try to figure out more, especially now with the revelation that there were 'Smart Zombies' in here among the usual flesh eaters. He ran and jumped out of it, sailing for dozens of feet and falling for dozens more before landing on the roof of the building across the street with the force that left an indent in the roof. After a commando roll he ran and jumped across several other buildings quickly and effortlessly until he figured he was far enough away, sliding to a stop and sitting on his ass behind an air conditioning unit to catch his breath.

| Michonne quickly began to think that perhaps she shouldn't have jumped down in the room after all; at least not with this hero here blowing her secret right out of the water. Yes, she was in fact infected, she had been for a very long time, but she wasn't dangerous... at least not unless someone attacked her first. She had no interest in scratching or biting someone and infecting them with the virus she had, no interest in that of all. Of course, she wasn't about to talk about any of this outloud, no one was likely to believe her because she was a stranger. Instead, she cursed silently in her mind at the idea of her secret being so easily realized; there had to be something that gave it away. But, that wasn't her base concern, she had wanted to offer the man some help, but figured that likely wasn't going to happen now that he knew she was infected. It was hard enough to trust a stranger, after all, let alone one you knew was just a step above the zombies around.
She then watched as, after a brief conversation, the man she had been following went running right to the window and out of it; jumping. From her vantage point she watched him move away from the building until she snapped her red gazed focus back onto the one who had arrived to save him. Her katana remained in her hand but her stance was less than threatening: she really didn't want a fight, however, she did want answers.
"How do you know I'm infected?", was the first question that rolled off of her tongue. It probably wasn't the best first question to ask, especially since she was pretty much admitting to it, but it was the one she was curious about the most. So, she waited and watched the remaining individual, wondering if he was going to end up taking off after his friend or trying to attack her because she was somewhat infected like the rest of the zombies lurking about.

| Before he could protest, Alec was out of the window...So him still being able to do superhuman feats wasn't just a bluff. V didn't mean to try acting tough or anything, and he knew he probably wouldn't last long in a fight with Alec, even with his suit on, he just didn't want to see anything bad happen to the guy. He wasn't stupid enough to try attacking him or anything. So he really did want to stay here, then. Great.
Not really. The broad spoke to him, asking how he knew she was infected. ”It can talk too! Well then zombie lady, let's just say a little birdie came and sat on my shoulder, whispered it in my ear! What's it matter anyway, you just wanna eat us!”
V was out of the window next. He fell for a while, before engaging his jets and quickly taking off in the direction that Alec took off. It didn't take long to get to where he was. He slid to a stop on the same roof as Alec, ducking down behind the same A/C unit.
”Okay fine, if you wanna stay here then stay here. But i'm not leaving here without you so consider yourself officially side-kicked. I'm not taking no for an answer either! You're not about to send me back to take a beating from your family for you!”

| Vigilante eventually caught up. He said he wasn't leaving and that now he was his side-kick. Having the kid here actually wasn't a bad idea. All of that computer technology, not to mention an extra set of eyes and someone to have his back in a fight. When things got too hectic, he was always the way out.
”...Alright... first thing you need to know about these things is, they operate by sound and smell, so keep your voice down and try to be as silent as possible. We need to sneak by these things and avoid confrontation if we can. No use playing hero and wasting energy taking them all on. There could also be more of those smart ones, like that chick back there... so keep your eyes peeled...”
Alec peeked around the side of the Air conditioning unit, not seeing the smart zombie chick following at the moment. He then began to pick up on a sound. He looked around, then up as it got louder. Something was descending from above, something that looked like a rocket. When it was closer, Alec could see that it was exactly that. The design told him that it was a Company model, possibly sent here by Jr. The rocket slowed as it approached, turned upright and landed. The compartment on the side opened, revealing his dufflebag. With a sarcastic grin Alec got up and retrieved his prized bag, throwing a strap over his shoulder.
”We should find supplies, like food and water... we should also see if we can find some survivors. Start moving them toward the Bridge, it's the only way out of this bad dream. You got scanners in that suit of yours, so we'll be able to tell if they're infected or not. Let's chill here and see if that chick back there is gonna try us or not...”
Alec checked the bag. All of his guns and pistols were in there. The Devil Gun as well as The Devilberg would probably prove useless here, but he didn't plan on using destructive weapons like those even if he could. He had plenty of ammunition for his regular weapons, so he'd just become well supplied...

| Something had told her it wasn't going to be as easy as this; and she knew better than to doubt her senses, but in this situation she had because she had wanted to offer her help.
"I came here to offer my help...I don't eat people!", she didn't know what made her say it or if the guy cared or not, or if he evern heard her for that matter since he was taking off, but it was the truth - the very last thing she wanted to do was eat someone. That wasn't to say she couldn't, but if she could survive by other means she would. She had come to offer some help, especially given she knew where the majority of the supplies were, but figured that wasn't likely going to happen now. Following those two would likely end up in a fight; she was being judged by the infection in her, and most people didn't bother listening to an explanation.
So, instead of following them, she sheathed her weapon and walked over to the window. She peered first in the direction that the pair had gone in, and then towards where she knew the Underground Lab to be which was north east of the direction the two had gone in. She figured it was time to call it quits on searching for supplies. So, instead, she backed up several feet and then turned before taking a running start to the edge of the window. When she reached the end she pushed off, launching herself into the air. She landed on a nearby building and took off running across it. When she reached the end she launched herself up and into the air once more; landing on another building nearby - all while heading in the direction of the Underground Lab.

| ”Be quiet: check. Sneak by them: check. Keep the eyes open for more of the smart zombies: check,” said V quietly, also peeking around the A/C unit to see the smart zombie girl leaving.
At least Alec wasn't arguing and telling him to leave. For now, they were safe on the roof of this building they were on. Alec next said that they should look for food, water and survivors, and start moving toward the Bridge. ”Sounds like a plan...but i'm highly doubting that we're gonna find anyone else here. It looks like the worst of whatever happened happened to happen right here.”
V did a scan of the area, covering a radius of a few miles. He didn't detect any other life forms outside of the re-animated undead, besides that smart zombie and maybe a few other stragglers. ”I'm not seeing really anyone else here in the Downtown area, bossman. If anyone else is alive here, i'm pretty sure they know what they're getting themselves into. I saw a police station when I was on my way here, the place was huge, and it still looked intact. Maybe there's some supplies and survivors in there. There could also be somebody in there that knows more of the weird story to all of this, wanna chekkit out?”
Now that the zombie broad had moved on, V stood up straight again. He was ready to get on the move, and would carry Alec if he had to.

| Alec stood up, pushing his dufflebag behind him. He too saw the female vacating the area. He didn't know where exactly she'd go in a place like this, but that wasn't his problem. Alec put the Blind Fury stick into his bag, deciding to rely upon the Kane Katana mostly to keep his hands free.
”The police station... sounds like a plan. Let's move, before any more of those smart walkers show up.”
Even with that heavy bag on, Alec was still able to move quickly. Maybe not even half as quickly as he could with his reals speed, but quick enough. He began to run in the direction of the police station, having memorized Pacific City through maps and looking at the place from satellite feeds. Alec jumped from rooftop to rooftop, keeping his eyes open for any suspicious movements, with the feeling that he was being watched....
