So! Due to recent issues that have started to arise dealing with abilities, weapons, and armour that some people have a new way of doing things has come about that the Admins have worked out and decided on:
From now on if you want something powerful whether it be an ability, a weapon, or a piece of armour, then you MUST role-play acquiring the item. This can be either a little adventure or quest to go find the item, or it can be a thread of you creating the item. It can be done solo or with someone else. However! It must be of a decent length, at LEAST 2 pages long. The more powerful the weapon, armour, or ability then the more pages that will be needed.
This is because of the constant issue with people having things that can do terrible things to other people, or wanting incredibly powerful things without putting the work in. We have never told someone that they cannot have something simply because it was too powerful, and thought that we were playing things fairly. However, with the up-rise of complaints, this is our way to fix it.
If you want it? You now have to put in the work to achieve/get it. If someone else has something that in some way makes your character weak, or easily killed, or makes them too OP in your eyes? As long as they did the RP acquiring the object? You cannot complain.
Side note: This will be our way to fix things in the future as well. We're trying to be fair and allow everyone everything that they want, but it seems like some people just want to complain about every little detail or ruling that we're making. So from now on when someone complains about something a new rule will be added in to fix it. It's sad that it has to be this way because people are upset about someone having something they RP'd for.
