| This place was so... strange. It felt wrong in a way; so much packed into a relatively tiny area. The building blotted the sun, turned the sky into a fleeting snippet of blue and white and grays; the pollution tainting everything a faded shade of dirty. Even the nicer areas; the higher income places that should have been clean and happy where dirty and false and wrong.
Why was this place so wrong?
Why do I want to be here so badly?
Over the streets and between buildings; place to place he looked and explored/ More then once he ached for food or drink; each time reprimanded for having none of the local currency. Not that it mattered; these creatures... humans; they had terrible vision; he'd easily snatched some fruit from a stall outside of a market store. It was enough for now; he would have to find the outskirts of this place eventually; find a place he could hunt. Or maybe a park with fruit trees; if they could survive here.
So much stone and steel and glass; it was cold, impartial. Nothing was familiar. Nothing was... what was right, to someone with nothing. He didn't know why he felt as he did; there was no history, no memory to compare to; yet he just... did.
So strange.
Ah... a park. Good, good. It was less offensive to his senses; the trees did help some, and the air was cleaner; if not by much. It was some level of improvement.
Toward the center of the park; away from the children and mothers and protective people watching them; near a small pond and where the trees where thicker. He could rest in the shadows; he could pull his tattered robes around himself and pretend to be a vagrant of the city; part of the background noise where no one would bother him; not unless they had some way of telling he was anything but normal. Hood was left low on his face; covering his wolven features and leaving nothing but a shadow and his eyes visible.

| Niala had been wandering the city, had been for several hours as she thought about her predicament - since she was still on vacation after all. She had been informed of Flynn's death, and then also informed that Demitria, Nanalie, and Riley had no recollection of Flynn to begin with: including what was left in their bodies. She had walked past the same park three times already, and figured she might as well enter: maybe it would help her clear her head?
So, she turned her form, entering into the park. She maneuvered her way around the children's area of the parks, past jungle gyms, monkey bars, swingsets, tire swings, merry-go-'rounds, bouncy toys, and god knew what else the park held. As she wandered deeper into the park she pulled her hoodie closed and zipped it up before folding her arms over her chest. She tucked her Company pendant inside of the hoodie, keeping it from sight: she didn't want to give someone a reason to try and mug her after all.
"Maybe I should just give up... stop using my power completely... or ask Amaranth to do one of those weird experiments of hers on me... take it all away.", she was speaking softly to herself as she reached the pond and stared into it at the fish inside, having yet to notice the male nearby. "Now there's no one to learn from.. no one to teach me what I am, and the memories aren't helping..." A sigh escaped the child and she tilted her head backwards, staring up at the sky above.

| What was that... a voice? The hood muffled his hearing somewhat; but it was nothing that would cause a major loss. Someone was walking through the empty areas of the park then; another wanderer maybe. In this place, he wouldn't be surprised. For all the humanity; he'd noticed traces of other races; hidden in plane sight. Some even felt familiar; near a coffee shop he'd passed in the early hours of the day. Familiar and not... a scent that brought to mind beings more like himself; almost triggering a memory, it felt like. Maybe... There was no reasoning behind it; the other hadn't seen him; or hadn't acknowledged him anyway. He didn't need to draw attention; normally that quiet voice in his mind told him not to at all costs; not until it was time. Time for what, he had yet to discern. "You seem... troubled, child." What language was he speaking; it was all the same to his mind. He'd heard hundreds in less time then he could process; snippets all he needed to find the entire language unlocked in his mind; it was to the point that he wasn't even sure if he was speaking something someone could understand until the other responded. He was mostly certain he was using the most common of the languages he'd heard that day; English it was called, or so he thought. So much still being processed, so little time to sort. - Ability Referenced:
Omnilinguism
The power to instantly speak and understand any language fluently.
Capabilities User can speak, write, understand and communicate in any language including computer codes, languages that has never been heard before, sign language (even lip-reading), illegible words, and backwards speech and writing with little or no training. User may even communicate with animals or read body language. This ability works by either or both of two faculties:
Projective Omnilingualism- the translation of one's native tongue or telepathic/subliminal broadcast of one's communication intentions to the minds of others, so that one can speak one's own language and be understood by people who normally wouldn't understand the speaker. The user of this ability may not be able to understand others, but only cause them to understand him.
Receptive Omnilingualism- the translation of any written language into the user's own native tongue, or through subliminal intuition of what by physical communication means. This ability may even employ telepathic faculty, where the psychic energy is read (by hearing or sight) to understand what the message is meant to convey.
Usually this ability is reciprocal, so that the user and the subjects can understand and communicate with one another efficiently.
Variations Electronic Communication (Technoligualism) Ability to communicate with electronic, digital, and radio waves. Extraterrestrial Communication (Xenolingualism) Ability to decode any communications with aliens, i.e. an Earthling being to understand Martian (Mars) language. Faunal Communication (Zoolingualism) Ability to decipher any animal communication and perform any fluently. The user can understand and speak with animals. Animals still have wills of their own, so this power shouldn’t be confused with Faunal Manipulation. Plant Communication (Annuallingualism/Botanilingualism) Ability to communicate with flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables, pollen and other botanical life. The user can communicate either telepathically, by speaking verbally, or by touching it physically. Technopathy (Cyberlingualism) Ability to communicate with machinery, computers and other electronics. The user can hack into cyber systems, restore information and break computer codes. Not to be confused with Technology Manipulation nor Cyber Communication which is using technology to communicate.
Universe Differences May know speech/language before recognition of obtained language. May need to carry out a related task before obtaining knowledge of a language. Starfire of Teen Titans had to kiss somebody to learn their native tongue. May need to know the basics of grammar and semantics to fully utilize the learned language.
Limitations Must be exposed to the language via audio, visual or telepathic means.

| She jumped ever so slightly; startled as she was. 'That's what you get for not paying attention your surroundings more, Niala... So worried about everything else you're failing to pay attention to what's around you.', she mentally scolded herself. She was right in doing so, she did know better after all, much better than that. Cities were dangerous, and just because she had that pendant around her neck didn't mean anything: if someone wanted to try something they were going to try something.
She turned to face the voice she had heard and shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I guess I am..." Should she say more? Could it honestly hurt anything if she did? "Someone I needed to explain something very, very important to me passed away, and with him went the secrets. So, now there's no one left that I know of that can help me." Yeah, that was better. Enough information to explain the situation without too much to give things away. She didn't know this person, and the last thing she wanted was to go around admitting she wasn't human to someone she didn't know. So, she would wait and see what was said in response first, before giving more information.
She glanced back towards the pond, watching as several of the fish had gathered nearby where her feet were, despite them not being in the water itself. A soft giggle escaped her. Always a way with animals... even if that hardly made sense either.

| How sad; this child had experienced more then she deserved. To loose someone important so young; tragedy. His head lifted slightly; allowing him to see her better; and what he saw... confused him. He could see... something, surrounding her. An aura, of some type. The aura was... it was... familiar, yet he knew nothing of her, nor could he ever remember meeting her before.
You remember only a few days; how can you be sure?
A fair though, welling up from the depths of his mind, where the darkness resided. The darkness seemed less angry, for the moment. Maybe it was the park soothing the rage? He did not know.
"Loosing a master is never easy."
Assumptions based on his innate world view; he took her words to mean just that, she had lost a teacher of something that had been lost otherwise. It was a simple enough assumption, and could easily be dismissed without loss or revelations on either side. Safe.
Suddenly, a burst of wind; the cooling evening breezes washing through the city now. It caught his hood, pushing it up and back over his oddly shaped head; revealing the hints of features to someone close enough; the girl would see if she was to look over.
Sharp lines, non-human in every way. Black and gray, shifting fur and sharp teeth flashed only as he spoke; eyes almond like a cats, yet... canine, in a way; muzzle large, yet thin and very much screaming wolf. The impression of ears high on his skull; sharp and oddly wide, mixed features that made him so different from everything else. He was very much not of the local population.

| His words caused her head to tilt as she turned her red gaze back onto him. She knew his meaning nonetheless, but the wording was far from modern. And then something else was catching her attention: him. His appearance wasn't human, at all. But it didn't frighten her. Instead, it inspired her to do something that she hadn't even thought of moments ago. She moved closer to him, and sat herself down on the grass nearby.
Without saying anything, or having any other means of explaining what was going on in her mind she reached into her hoodie and pulled out a pencil and a small sketchbook. She opened to a fresh page and instantly began to draw. Shapes quickly turned into limbs, a head, and a torso.
Her tongue stuck out in the corner of her mouth as she concentrated; knowing she'd have one hell of a hand cramp when she was completed because of how fast she was going: but it was still perfectly done, even in her rush. Seconds dragged into minutes and still she drew, adding more smaller detail... until finally, the pencil dropped and she opened and closed her hand slowly, feeling the familiar cramp set in.
She placed the sketchbook down on the ground with her left hand before rubbing her right hand with the left. On the page was Flynn, as she usually saw him. She stared at the drawing, a look of sadness filling her eyes. "That... was him."

| The movement had him almost flinching away; until he realized that she was moving to sit down and not about to do anything to him. Relief; he'd been aching for some form of company, even the few traded words was a blessing; so the longer he could keep a pleasant conversation going, the better. Patience he had in spades; he would wait for her to speak before reacting; his attention drawn to the page she was suddenly sketching on. That speed... amazing. Beyond human, he would guess. The aura began to make sense, then.
Words, offering information without giving details. He could handle that. The sketch was given his attention; half a hope that maybe he might know whomever she was drawing. It was a long shot he knew would fall through; or had believe it would.
Why... the person... familiar...
"An elder, then. Ancient; one of the true-bloods."
What was he saying? True-blood? Elder? What?
A shake of his head; he was confused by his own responses. A hand raised to his face; scrubbed downward before shifting to pinch his brow. Strange thoughts; words not his own, almost. But the longer they sat in the open; the more they felt right. True-blood; a noble of some sort. Obviously, to his eyes anyway, a very old being; even without proper color he could see the signs of aging.
And yet, he almost felt as though he knew the person. But there was nothing, nor memories, no knowledge. Just... a ghost of an impression. Ghost of a ghost of familiar.
And from the darkness, a ping of sadness.

| Niala looked to the male and then back to the drawing, a soft sigh escaping her. She reached her right hand forward, as her senses went outwards: there was no one else around besides the pair of them, and she already knew the male beside her wasn't human. So what she was about to do couldn't hurt.
She had sworn off using her abilities for a while now, but it felt appropriate. She touched the paper with her right hand and it instantly washed with color: but it didn't stop there. The figure, Flynn, began to climb off of the page. Once off of the page it took several steps away, and then began to grow, becoming lifesize and solid looking. Sadness filled her further as she reached forward; as her hand touched the drawing it poofed into a small puff of smoke which smelled of an island paradise.
"I miss him... He was going to explain everything to me, tell me what I was... explain it all. Explain everything about being a Biskmatar....", she was rambling, staring where the drawing had been when she had made it come to life.

| Unexpected movements galore. He was still jumpy; but not as bad. He felt he could relax about her; they shared the commonality of being different; those that where different tended to be at least neutral toward each other, less often likely to lash out for any reason.
And then the drawing started moving and his brain exploded a little bit. That was not something he'd expected to see.
Perfect... such power, gone to waste for no reason...
What... the voice was speaking like it knew something about this. For once an emotion that wasn't terribly sad and angry was hinted at; wistfulness, even a bit of affection? The hell was going on with him. What... what was this voice and this... whatever, deep inside of himself?
"Biskmatar...?"
The single word gripped his mind; he focused solely on it for long moments as his brain returned to exploding; information flooding from somewhere that he'd never known was there. It was academic at best; without any hints of personality or flavor; like reading the cliff notes of a thesis.
"You are like me... only... not. You are one of the younglings; the lightbringers. The new kin."
More words not his own; but still right. So much was confusing him, so much was just... it didn't make sense. How did he know this. Who was this girl that unlocked things in his mind? What was the voice that gave information and a sense of purpose but nothing more?
"You... who are you... who was he...?"

| 3 Goons enter the park. They are dressed in cheap dark colored business suits and sunglasses. All 3 Goons are smoking cigarettes. The Goons are ordinary average humans. All 3 of them are armed with 9mm semi automatic pistols and switchblades. Without the weapons, they all had street fighting experience.
2 of the Goons move into a position to surround the big dog-looking guy in the hood, their hands beneath their jackets clutching the handles to their firearms. 1 of them moves to approach Niala. "Hey little girl you want some candy?" he asks. "Why don't you come over here, I got a whole bunch in the back of my van!" A sick look was on his face. He had bad intentions, as did his 2 cohorts.

| Her red gaze shifted back to him at his words. He knew something of her? Or, rather of what she was? That was a surprise, as no one else seemed to be able to tell her anything. Even the memories hadn't helped much. But, then he was asking who she was and who the man she had drawn was. She picked up her notebook and closed it before slipping it back into the pocket of her hoodie. "My name is Niala... and that was my friend Flynn."
And then suddenly they weren't alone. Blinking she took in the appearance of the three new arrivals, especially the one who began to speak to her: "Hey little girl you want some candy Why don't you come over here, I got a whole bunch in the back of my van!" Yeaaaaaah, no. She might have been stuck raising herself most of the time but she knew better than to wander off somewhere with a stranger, especially one who was offering candy... from the back of a van. Bunch of pedophiles.
She rose to her feet in one lithe movement, keeping her gaze on the man who had spoken to her in the chance that he tried something funny. "No, thank you." She'd be polite until they gave her a reason not to, figuring if they could solve this without violence then that would be great - but more than willing to whoop some goon butt if she had to.

| Flynn...
That name... familiar... why...?
Why did that name hurt to hear?
Sadness filled his being; a nostalgic sadness that served to further fuel his confusion. Like he knew the name, knew the person; but he didn't. He didn't know anyone; not even himself. He only guessed at his own name; or whatever he was calling himself. That was a name, right?
And then people approaching; smelling of nasty, unclean things. Waste, fear, others he couldn't name. A sense of danger, not for himself, but the child before him. Their words only confirmed the sensation; they wanted to cause trouble. Joy.
He doubted the polite rebuttal would be enough; a soft growl being released as a warning to them. Although, given what he'd seen of humans, they tended to ignore growls. Not a smart tactic; given growling was almost a universal warning noise.
"You are unwanted here. You would do well to leave, this child obviously does not wish to engage in your games, nor do I. Please leave us alone."

| "Hey, HEY!" one of the Goons said to the big dog-man. The right hand clutched steel. The Goon was obviously scared, trying to act tough. The other Goon's finger was also on the trigger of his firearm as he tried to figure out exactly what the hell this guy was. "Heel, or something, poochie. You be a good boy."
The Goon in front of Niala moved as if he were ready to chase after her when she got up, flipping out a switchblade and expertly twirling it around. "This can go one of two ways, easy or hard," he said, licking his lips. "Your choice..."

| Fresh air was nice; it felt to be outdoors after being inside for the last week and a half. Not that he was complaining; the time he'd spent indoors was time well sent, catching up with Mother on her whereabouts for the last few hundred years, as well as what had hapened that day.
That day.
It still hurt to think about; the day he nearly lost everything. He'd lost nearly everyone he knew even himself, so to speak. A mind divided, held together by thin strings and a body that knew not what it was..
But this was the past; everything had been fixed, healed, and restored. Almost everything. There was still the matter of someone being lost within the Biskmatar...
The scent of nature. Fresh air, and the sound of voices speaking. Some sort of exchange, sounds muffled by distance.
Investigation time!
Red eyes blinked, as the male crouched down, moving closer to the noises as he stood behind a tree listening, another exchange was given.
"Heel, or something, poochie. You be a good boy."
Red eyes peered around the tree, and widened in suprise.
A bi-pedal persona. Animalstic features.
Can't be.
Mother, Flynn, and himself were the last of the nobles. There were ryuukishi scattered here and there, but few and far in between.
But someone else?
Impossible. | |

| Okay, so apparently this guy wasn't going to go away just because she politely said she wasn't willing to go with him. In fact, he was now threatening her, that they were going to do it the easy way, or the hard way. Hard way it was! Her red gaze focused on the switchblade the goon was twirling around: that would have to be the first thing to go - she was not looking forward to getting cut, even if she did heal quickly. Her right hand flashed out suddenly and quickly, grasping the wrist of the hand twirling the switchblade, and in one swift and fluid movement she twisted with a great deal of strength behind it; like someone trained to break bones. If the goon didn't have time to avoid her, or otherwise break free, his wrist would snap with an loud crack, becoming completely useless. "...." She had no words for any of them, and instead braced herself for some sort of counter from the man she had possibly just badly harmed, or the other two goons present who also seemed to be looking for trouble. - Enhanced Condition:

| Wonderful. Simple wonderful. They where either too stupid to care, or lacked the very concept of protection from bodily harm. Something he had heard in passing earlier that day... Darwin Award? Some joke among the humans giving to anyone or anything that failed at the evolutionary mandates that kept a species alive? He was unsure; but from what he thought he understood of the term, it was appropriate.
"I would not attempt that again..."
The youngling, Niala she called herself; she would be fine against them; unless they had some sort of hidden abilities that had not come to play yet. For now; he was unworried by their weapons; simple projectiles meant little against his fur and skin, and the otherweapons would likely do little damage. Safety was the key, he wasn't about to enflame the situation. He could smell the fear, better to play to that.
"I am not a "doggie', as you so eloquently state. However, I must give you some credit for being within the right general family of canine. To be more correct, you would call me a wolf."
A simple movement, to his feet without much haste. It would be fast enough against a human's perception; to them it would seem as though he jumped. An arm lifted and claws where flashed; his hand turned to flash the back and the curve of his claws, points facing inward. From this position he would be able to attack without outright injuring if needed; he had no reasons to do otherwise, just yet. Threatening words where nothing; not until they acted. | "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" Those that heard it from a distance would think a woman was being raped. Faster than his human brain would be able to comprehend, his wrist and several other bones were broken, snapped as if twigs. The pain was tremendous. In his pain and anger, the Goon kicked at Niala's face with his right foot, attempting to drive his sole into the child's forehead.

| Red eyes blinked slowly, taking in the world at a rapid pace, forcing the world to seem as if it was slowing down. "Oh FUCK you, dog boy!" As the Goon spoke, the Biskmatar opened a hand, and filled it with a glowing orb; his life force, brought to bear to serve his will. His kind was naturally adept at doing so; one of the main reasons that so many of them found thier way into the warrior caste so long ago. The energy had the appearance of a black, swirling mass, roughly the side of a baseball; it was small, meant for concussive explosions, knocking people off thier feet. Said ball was launched at the speed of a 9mm bullet as the biskmatar stepped from behind the tree, roughly around the goon finished speaking and began to draw his gun. If Luca was correct in judging angles, the blast would impact the goon holding the gun in the side just as he was about to fire, exploding in a concussive force, quite possibly knocking him off his feet and several feet into the air.... - Spoiler:

| She watched as the goon went to kick her in the face, enhanced eyesight picking up easily on the movement and giving her more than enough time to react so that she wasn't hit; while she also took note of the new arrivals attack to one of the other goons. Her hands came up in front of her, arms crossing in an X fashion as her plan was already formulated, stance already perfect for what she was about to do since she had already braced herself previously for a counter attack. As the foot would hit her hands she would grab it and twist viciously, giving the goon one of two options if he didn't get out of it fast enough: either suffer a several broken leg, or end up turning with the twist to be then put face first into the ground. Niala would release the foot once the twist was complete, already braced for another attack. "Why don't you just leave before you end up hurt worse?", she would say, so long as she wasn't attacked before she had a chance to. - Enhanced Condition:

| Oh. More unexpected guests. This one was different. This one wasn't one of the humans; he could easily tell that. This was another youngling; another of the biskmatar. And elder of the line at that. How he was sure of this, he was unsure; but it was something that felt absolutely true to him. Another of the mysteries surround him.
The new biskmatar was on track to end the second attacker's little tirade; and Pietro wasn't about to interrupt him. If he wished to assist, that was his right. However, the large canine did reach for the gun; the bullets fired intercepted (mostly) by the palm of his hand; impacting his fur and simply bouncing away harmlessly; his fur was nothing if not resilient, and such weak ammunition meant nothing against him. The bullet that wasn't impacting his hand grazed along his arm until it smacked into his shoulder; sticking to the deeper fur there and doing little beyond releasing a thin trail of vaporous smoke; the remnants of the gunpowder exploding. "Wrong choice, boy."
Whether the blast from the biskmatar hit or not; Pietro's hand would snake out for the gun, faster then the eye could blink and fingers wrapping around the barrel before yanking it away hard enough to likely remove the trigger finger of the male. If not outright remove, then definitely dislocate it. What to him was a gentle squeeze was more then enough to crush and bend the barrel of the gun into a worthless mess of metal; tossed away without a second thought. What happened to the male after that, he did not care; his attention was turned now to the one that was not acting; the one that smelled of fear and faintly urine; like he was about to, or had already, pissed himself.
A sweet smile, feral and full of teeth, and a single word spoken, "Woof." They wanted to call him a dog, alright. He'd woof like one; but the tone of the word... that was the impact. Danger, pure and simple; it dripped with it. The man could run, or be eviscerated; Pietro was fine with either.

| Ok, here's what happened. The Goon with the gun managed to get maybe, 3 shots off that didn't matter anyway, since they bounced right off the dog man like nothing, before being smacked on the side by some kind of ball thing. While being thrown into the air, the dog man grabbed the gun, which caused his movement to suddenly halt and his shoulder to be dislocated with a disgusting loud pop sound. He screamed like a baby, collapsing onto his face.

The second Goon joined into his chorus of screaming when his leg was viciously twisted by this girl that was too strong to be so little, producing the pop and crunch of more broken bones. He collapsed onto his face next, screaming with the other Goon.

The third Goon didn't attack or draw his weapon. He simply cautiously went to gather his 2 fallen fellow Goons. "Uh... yeah, so all's well that ends well, right? Let-let me get these two morons outta your's way here and we'll be off, huh?" He was sweating heavily and pale in the face, terrified. The Goon grabbed his two crying cohorts and stumbled off with them, falling several times.

| Red eyes blinked slowly watching the men as they walked away. When they vanished off into the voiliage, the young male turned to the duo, eyebrows raised in question. He had no clue as to whom this persona was, but had full intention of finding out. He stepped closer, head cocked curiously. | Niala watched as the goons took off; the last of the three smart enough to realize that running away was a very good thing to do. She wasn't going to chase after them: she didn't like violence, and hadn't wanted to even do what she had already done. So, letting them leave was something she was more than willing to do. Her head tilted to the side as a cup of hot chocolate appeared in her hand: filled with marshmallows, lots of sugar, and a whole bunch of whipped cream on top, complete with a color changing straw, the Company pendant glinting in the dim light which kept her safe when using abilities such as the one she had just used. "Why do you call me that?", she asked curiously before taking a sip of her drink. Should she know him? Was she related to him? She'd been playing ignore-the-instincts since she had nearly given up on her powers... perhaps it was time to stop blocking things out. - Imagination Manifestation:
