Road to Heaven [Travel, Edge ---> Heaven]

Alec had tried to force his way back into heaven several times in the past, but failed. Today felt different. Today he felt like there was something different. Maybe it was because he was about to die. Maybe it was because he was about to be face to face with his family for the first time. Maybe it was because God himself was going to step down out of that big castle and squash him like the ant he was.

Nevertheless, he was going to have answers one way or another. Resembling a glowing comet, Alec pushed himself upwards, feeling someone chasing after him. it was probably one or more of his kids, but Alec was too angry to find out exactly who, and whoever it was wouldn't stop him.

Destiny had already been on her way over from Sunset Isle to see what was going on - stormy weather out of the blue was normally an indication that one of the members of her family was pissed off after all - when her cellphone went off. Frowning, she read the text quickly as her heart sped up and began to beat faster. She tilted her head back and could see her father taking off towards Heaven. Her wings appeared with a deafeningly explosive sound and she followed. She launched her skyward and after her father as quickly as possible: pushing herself to extreme speeds instantly.

Destiny had no idea exactly what her dad had seem outside of the general description that Junior gave, but seeing her father shoot off towards Heaven like he was was enough to have her thinking it was likely something unjust and unfair. Still, if he went into Heaven like this he was likely to be killed, and she nor anyone else in the family would want that.

"Damnit. Slow down! Hold up, dad! I know you're pissed but you go up there like this they're going to kill you! And then all Hell is going to break loose!" she shouted after her dad. She had no idea if he'd be able to hear her, or if her words would do any good, but she hoped they would. If he got hurt, or worse, she knew the temper of several of the Kane's would get the best of them and an unholy fight was sure to break out.

Jr just wasn't fast enough to keep up with his father. He was a pure blood Angel, whereas Jr was half phoenix. The gap between them began to widen.

But then there was Dez, taking off from Sunset and joining into the chase. Since she was also pure blood, Jr was able to ride on her slipstream as she shot past him. The process allowed him to catch up to the both of them while they all rocketed upwards and grab a hold of his father.

"Dad, stop! You're gonna get yourself killed!" Jr yelled, his Armani jacket flapping in the winds behind them. "Dad! Are you listening??"

Demi had been busy working at her desk in Zero Sum, trying to distract herself from the idea that her daughter was likely in the middle of becoming a full fledged assassin. Or, Destiny had already been on her way over from Sunset Isle to see what was going on - stormy weather out of the blue was normally an indication that one of the members of her family was pissed off after all - when her cellphone went off. Demi was up on her feet and shot straight upwards. Her wings spread and she shot right through the ceiling. She would deal with the mess later, she wanted to make sure her father didn't so something to get himself hurt or worse, nor the rest of her family.

She spotted her father, Destiny, and Junior, and followed them at full speed. "What the hell? Slow down and think about this!", she called out.

Yeah, he heard each of his kids pleading for him to stop, to slow down, that he was going to get himself killed, to think about this, blah blah blah. He wasn't listening to any of them. He didn't care. The Psychotic Gunman of old had emerged once again, and nothing would stop him until he hand answers, or someone was dead. Even when Jr grabbed him it didn't slow him down at all.

Alec pushed upwards until he slammed into the barrier that had prevented his entrance many times in the past. It felt like flying straight into a trampoline, and it the past, pushed him back just as one would. But since Jr was adding onto his weight, this time Alec was able to push right through it, breaching his way into Heaven.

Junior was able to catch up on her slip stream and even grab a hold of Alec. Demi quickly arrived as well, covered in what looked to be dust and such from the roof of Zero Sum: had she honestly blasted right through the ceiling? Knowing Demi, it was likely. Still, none of their pleading, and not even Junior grabbing onto him, did anything to slow Alec down. Apparently he wasn't listening to their reasoning, which meant that this was likely going to turn violent and fast.

”Come on, Demi... we're going through, too.”

With Alec and Junior having breached the barrier it was easy enough for her to grab hold of Demi and force the pair of them through too. She wasn't about to let her father and brother face this alone, and she knew Demi would feel the same exact way – they could be stubborn, too, just like their father was being.



[Exit]

His words were reaching deaf ears. His father was acting like he did in the Chaos Squad days, meaning he was pissed. He wasn't going to stop, he knew that.

Jr grabbed onto his father even tighter, doing his best to hold on as he shot upwards like a rocket. He looked back a second to see that Demi had joined the chase too. There was debris and dust around her; maybe she went through the roof of the club?

Either way things went, Jr wasn't going to stop now, he'd come too far. His father hit some sort of barrier, and he was dragged inside with him.

When Dez grabbed a hold of her and said they were going through she tightened her grip around her sister with a nod. She had absolutely no intentions of turning back now; not when her brother, her father, and her sister were going to be in danger. ”Let's do this.”, she would state before they too would push through this barrier and into Heaven.

What would happen now, she wondered.
