Demi had a secret little quest she had to take care of, one that happened to take place in Shinkai Shigai. She knew better than to use her shadows to transport herself into the city; therefore she just jumped from shadow to shadow up until she reached land - making it possible for her to go across the ocean without ending up soaked. She could have flown there; but again, she never did do things the easy way...
