Starlette said she wasn't one of those popular chicks, and that she wasn't like that, in regards to the gossip and the making fun. She seemed to have took offense to what he said, and walked off after saying she didn't want to be here today. Yata couldn't really bring himself to care; he wasn't exactly a hit with the ladies. Most of them just looked down at him, called him creepy, or steered clear of him, just like she was doing. It was an all too common occurrence, and he wasn't surprised that it was happening yet again.
He wanted to concentrate on his jobs of Hitman and Bouncer for the most part, and perhaps become involved in something much larger. What girl in her right mind would have a thing for him, anyway? Perhaps what morons like Biff and Moose said were right; he was just a panty waste, a load that should have been swallowed.
Yata wasn't going to harp on that shit much longer. The principal and a couple of security guards were headed his way. "Misaki Yata i'd like to see you in my office," he said. "We need to discuss your reckless behavior outside earlier, and also why you haven't been here in months."
"Oh great, I protect a girl from some bullies, and i'm the one getting called in to be interrogated?" said Yata, stopping in his tracks. "Screw that. I don't think I should be having to explain myself to you either. Let's just say I got a job, and leave it at that."
"Regardless, your parents are also here. We need to have a meeting. You were out of control even before you pulled this vanishing act, and I think it's about time we all sat down and had a discussion about your future, young man." He signaled for the security guards to move toward him. "Restrain him if you have to."
"The fuck is this, school, or jail? I don't have to take this, I don't even have to come here! Fuck you guys!" One of the Security guards tried to grab him. He jumped up high, to his surprise, and kicked him in the back of his head, sending him sliding and rolling down the polished hallway floor. The other took the opportunity to grab Yata from behind when he landed, only to be flipped over his shoulder and thrown at the principal.
Yata didn't even stick around to watch the results, hearing the uproar of kids behind him as he turned and headed back towards the front doors on his board. He burst through them with his aura active, moving on his board like a projectile fired from a cannon. Yata decided that he wasn't coming back here; there was no need. Who'd be stupid enough to come downtown looking for him, when he worked for the Boss of the whole city?
It would be work from now on. The board spun several times while barrel rolling beneath his feet before he landed on it, the wheels kicking up sparks on the concrete. Yata accelerated away from the school, possibly for the last time...
