The day of the Saiyan, part 2 [Open][NR]

He had to do this quick. This would be the only time he'd lend his assistance. The next time this happened, they were on their own.

Something black and fast moved onto the battlefield at a speed of +24. After quickly touching the girl as she began to pass out, she'd find herself refreshed and back onto her feet.

Healing:

Next, the black thing would execute a hard kick toward the mid-section of the kid. If it hit, it was going to hurt. A punch would come next, smashing into the face of the kid to send him tumbling and rolling. The severe blows would probably make the kid lose concentration and fall out of that amplified state he was in too.

Vigilante would find himself back onto his feet and facing in the direction the kid went flying, after being lifted up by an unseen force. Vigilante had negation, so he couldn't be healed by supernatural means, but despite being hurt he was still conscious.

Whatever this fast black thing was, it was gone as quickly as it came. When Ka'lara gathered herself, to her, it would probably seem as if Vigilante found a second wind and knocked the kid for a loop.

"When all else fails, the tail. Remember the tail," came a voice into Vigilante's ear, then there was nothing else.

/Exit/

She wasn't dead, she wasn't unconscious. She was... fine? What the fuck was going on here? By all rights she should have been unconscious and well on her way to the grave, but she wasn't. 'React now, think later.', words of wisdom that had once been spoken to her by her father when he had first began to teach her how to fight as a very little girl - she had always relied on thought too much and not enough on instinct back then. Not now. Not again.

Ka'lara, who was on her feet, was able to find she was still at that +20 speed and +15 strength she had been when she had first removed her weights. She could see The Vigilante in the distance on his feet and facing in the direction of the alien kid. Had he attacked him? Was the alien kid done for?

If the attack on the alien kid by Darkman was successful she would follow through, speeding after him at +20 speed with every intention of doing the kid even more harm. She would circle him while launching a series of attacks - a kick to his left side, followed by a kick to his front, a kick to his right side, and a kick to his back: knocking him around like a ball in ball in the game of tilt. If he were not able to get free or dodge such a nasty series of attacks then Ka'lara would follow up by moving in front of this kid at her extreme speeds. Once more she would kick him, as she had done before, on the under side of his chin to send him airborne - however, she wouldn't be done there. She would follow him upwards, shooting past him, to send a downward kick smashing right into the top of the kids head. If all of this was successful and unavoidable then the kid would be sent slamming into the ground hard enough to cause serious damage to the ground and likely himself.

Ka'lara, meanwhile, would back flip in the air and land, crouched, some twenty feet away. Her gaze would be trained on where the alien kid landed - if the attack was successful that is. "How the hell did you land a hit on him?", she would ask of The Vigilante.

This looked like the end. The Alien kid had him on the ground after a thorough ass beating. Vigilante figured he still had a lot to learn. All of the plans he'd formulated weren't going to work now. Even Ka'lara, with all of the training she seemed to have done, was---

Wait. Ka'lara was up again. Then, the kid was knocked off of Vigilante after a few kicks, and Ka'lara was back to kicking his ass. Then Vigilante found himself back on his feet as well. Was he hearing things? A voice mentioned something about a tail. Or was it tale? He didn't know what that meant.

"Uhh...I dunno?" Vigilante answered Ka'lara, looking in the direction of where the kid was going to land if those attacks connected. "Maybe...it's the muscle memory?"

Was someone else here? Or in the haze of all of the pain he was in, he'd actually managed to sub consciously fight the kid off? Maybe he'd never know...

This seemed to be his moment of glory, but then there was a kick that knocked much out of him... something hard slammed into his face, sending him flying...

This wasn't the end. He was suddenly being juggled around by the female, who he swore was on the throws of death. He was knocked into the air, and then hit out of the air to slam into the ground with such force that a crater was dug into the pavement. A large dust cloud appeared like an explosion.

What... happened? He was winning. He had them both where he wanted them. And now, now he was losing. The woman was back on her feet, at full power. It appeared The Vigilante was back up on his feet too. How the hell was this happening? A groan of frustration mixed with pain came from his throat...

...But it was through that pain that he noticed that night had fallen. He looked around a while, and finally found it. The Earth's single moon. As he began to feel something stir from within, he began to laugh. The laughter started quietly, but he got louder and louder. The pupils in his eyes disappeared. His canine teeth began to elongate. His body began to expand...

Each one of her strikes had landed on the alien kid and finally he was forced into a crator on the ground while Ka'lara had gone unscathed. The Vigilante said he had no idea how he had landed an attack on the kid outside of muscle memory but Ka'lara found she didn't have time to think about it as laughter came from the creator. What the fuck was this kid about to pull out of his ass now? What was it going to take to keep this kid down?

"This kid has to have some sort of weakness. Dragons have a weak spot on their bellies. Some creatures can't stand holy places. Feline creatures take severe damage when you pull their tails... What the fuck is this kid's weakness?"

Thinking quickly Ka'lara coated herself in raiton based chi, a move known in the ninja universe as Cloak of Angels: the raiton added onto the glow of her full body tattoo casting her in a semi-bright glow. She had no idea what that kid could be doing down there but getting close had so far proven a stupid idea. So, she figured she would go on the defensive this time instead of the offensive and see what it got her. For now she would simply wait, life-force detection giving her access to knowledge of the locations of those around her as electricity danced across every inch of her flesh and she remained prepared to move at a moments notice. Would lightning harm this alien if he were to touch it? Time would likely tell.

Cloak of Angels:

It was starting to hurt to breathe. Super Mode was still active, and he had a few minutes left to utilize it. This was going to take it's toll on him later on, so he began to think the time to wrap all of this up was now.

The alien kid over there was laughing. Even after the beating that Ka'lara gave him, and whatever happened before that, the kid still had the energy to laugh?... How long was this going to last, exactly?

Vigilante took a deep breath and stilled himself, preparing for whatever was next...

Great Ape:

His voice, as he laughed, began to grow deeper. The ground shook as his body began to rapidly expand. Brown hair covered his body. The ground around him caved in as he began to put on weight and muscle.

When it was over, Kyuuri had made the transformation into the Great Ape. Standing nearly 100 feet tall, again his powers were multiplied by 10. Even his clothes had expanded with him. Ape Kyuuri let out a tremendous roar into the night sky while pounding on his chest; the sound resembling loud drums.

Ape Kyuuri looked down at the two miserable humans. A right leg rose, and then sped toward the ground; toward them, with the intent of squashing them into red stains.

..... She had seen it all now. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

The alien was no longer the size of a kid, hell he didn't even look like a kid anymore. He had completely transformed and Ka'lara had no idea how. This didn't seem like the same as someone with a chakra beast inside of them or even a tailed-beast transforming. No, this was something different.

The ape started beating on his chest and then lifted a leg as if to stomp them. Ka'lara wasn't going to stick around and give this giant beast a chance to turn her into nothing more than a stain on the road. The ape was moving faster than he had been as a human and Ka'lara wasn't going to risk her own life or The Vigilante's. Thinking quickly Ka'lara used Flash Step to instantly get herself over to The Vigilante and push him as well as move herself out of the way of the foot before it could come crashing down on them; coming to a stop about fourty yards away.

Mystical Martial Arts -> Flash Step:

"I'm going to find out it's weakness..." This thing had to have a weakness and she was going to find it. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!", the words were spoken as hand seals were weaved again in rapid fashion - thanks to whatever had healed her she was back to full strength and able to make these clones once more without doing too much damage to herself. This time five clones appeared, each one with a kunai in their hand. The clones would instantly all take off in opposite directions, all attempting to surround the giant ape where they would begin to hack at various areas of him: some going between his legs, others going around him.

The real Ka'lara headed off with the clones as well: going around and through his legs. Were the clones able to get close to him they would begin to use the kunai's to hack and slash at various parts of his body. Clone One would aim a slash at the back of the ape's right knee, attempting to cut atteries. Clone Two would be attempting to slice him on his big toe of his left foot. Clone Three would be aiming to slice the 'wrist' of his right arm. Clone Four would be aiming, if allowed to get behind him and run up his back, to slice at the back of the apes neck. Clone Five would be attempting an attack, if able to get the whole way up behind him via running up him with chakra on her feet 'sticking' her to him, to his left eye if allowed to get that far.

Ka'lara would be attempting to attack the backside of the ape, more precisely by the waist area, with the kunai. She could only hope she wasn't spotted as the real Ka'lara out of the rest; perhaps The Vigilante would be able to provide a good distraction to give her clones a chance to work.

Shadow Clone Jutsu:

Kunai:

"NO FUCKING WAY MAN!!"

The alien transformed into King fucking Kong. The next thing he knew, this giant damn gorilla was trying to step on them, that is, until Ka'lara pushed him out of the way. The jets engage and he pushed himself into the air.

If he could barely beat this alien when he was a kid, then how the hell was get going to fare against him as a giant gorilla, who could move just as fast as both of them? This was beginning to seem like a nightmare that he just couldn't wake up from. Was it going to start throwing balls of shit at them too?

Ka'lara said she was going to find a weakness, split herself into several people, and began to attack the gorilla from all angles. Vigilante began to circle the area at a high rate of speed to build up Kinetic energy, while he had the chance...

The foot slams into the ground, creating a tremendous quake and a cloud of dust. Several buildings fall over. Ape Kyuuri roars and pounds upon his massive chest again. The female split herself into several copies and they all began to attack him at various points; the back of his knees, his toes, his back, they were even trying to run up his body to likely attack his neck and other vital areas like his eyes or temples.

They were like insects. Ape Kyuuri began to thrash about and slam the ground, which would create violent tremors. More buildings around them fell over, creating more clouds of dust and adding to the already big mess. Rocks and debris would fly about in all directions.

The Vigilante was flying in circles, resembling another insect. Ape Kyuuri swing at him as if he were trying to swat a fly. Ape Kyuuri also opened his mouth and let off breath blasts. Where ever they impacted created a huge explosion, and more ground tremors. One of the explosions were very close by.

A few of Ka'lara's clones were swatted or knocked off of the giant ape causing those that fell or were hit to to poof into non-existence. Things were getting dangerous; buildings were being destroyed and if anyone was around nearby they would likely be dead or dying soon enough. This needed to end now. Something had to get through to this guy. Her plan was simple - the creature was swiping at The Vigilante and she was hoping to use this opening to be able to launch her attack.

Ka'lara used chakra, or chi, on her feet to allow her to stick to the backside of the giant ape. Ka'lara looked down at the giant ape's tail and figured that nothing would catch someone's attention like the removal of a limb. Ka'lara manipulated her chi and manifested it into a solid object, forming a giant blade out of it that was over six inches thick and three and half feet long. She ran down the ape's back, closing distance between herself and the ape's tail at +20 speed, If she wasn't somehow knocked off before-hand she would jump into the air and send the blade down with a great deal of knowledge and skill of how to wield such a weapon behind the movement, if she wasn't stopped, it would slice right through the beasts tail and hopefully severe the limb from the beast.

Mystical Martial Arts:

If all of this were to go off without a hitch Ka'lara would land on the ground and take off to put distance between herself and the giant ape: not stopping until she would be thirty yards away from the alien creature.

"That's right, the TAIL! GO FOR THE TAIL!!"

Ka'lara was up to something on the monkey's back. Vigilante decided to keep on flying to keep the beast distracted. Whole city blocks were being blown to smithereens, and buildings were falling down like Lego's. This started to seem like some kinda Godzilla movie. Vigilante went up and down as he flew in circles around the beast, performing barrel rolls and aerial maneuvers to avoid the swat attacks and the mouth blasts.

When Ka'lara went for the tail, Vigilante would turn himself towards the monkey and release all of the kinetic energy he'd built up, hopefully to knock the creature backwards, or at the very least, off balance. He just prayed that whoever it was that told him to go for the tail was right, and that this did something...

The Vigilante managed to evade all of his attacks and breath blasts, and all Ape Kyuuri managed to do was level most of the neighborhood around them. The girl cut off his tail despite his attempts at crushing them, and Vigilante let off some kind of force that knocked him off balance at the same time.

With no tail, the ape transformation was canceled. Kyuuri shrank back into his previous form and collapsed into a pile of debris and rubble, barely able to move.

"Blast... you... stupid... humans..." he managed to say, with one eye squinted shut. He struggled to pull something out of his pocket. With effort, he managed to pull out the remote to his Attack Ball and press the recall button.

He was worn out and totally exhausted. There was nothing else he could do to defend himself at the moment; he was left totally to their mercy. A glow in the distance signaled that his Attack Ball was coming.

He lie on his back and struggled to catch his breath. His insides had been rattled, and he was seeing in double vision, meaning he probably had a concussion. Some of his bones felt fractured. If he could, depending on if one of them didn't come and finish him off, he'd heal... and then, he'd start it all over again...

He wouldn't stop until that costumed clown was lying dead at his feet...

That... had worked? "The tail... huh." That would be something that she kept in mind in case anymore of these Saiyan's happened to show up and try their luck.

The kid's transformation broke and the kid was laying among the debris and rubble on the ground. The area had taken a great deal of damage during the fight, more so after the kid had transformed. Ka'lara felt mixed emotions as she witnessed the kid laying there among all of the damage: half torn between wanting to kill him now while he was apparently down and letting him go while hoping that he learned something from this. She was leaning heavily towards the first choice, though.

Ka'lara took several steps forward while pulling another Kunai out of her pouch at her hip. Her grip tightened around this kunai as she neared. Was she going to put the kid out of his misery? Slit his throat and ensure he was bled dry in an attempt to keep him from coming back like some undead killer in a horror movie? If this kid got up again Ka'lara had a feeling that he was only going to come back bigger, faster, and stronger than he had this time: would they win the next time if that happened? Would anyone stand a chance if this kid got the opportunity to live?

Taking a life wasn't something to be taken lightly, Ka'lara knew that. She had been raised from a young age to fight, to be prepared to kill to protect her village. She came from a clan of Taijutsu specialists... but it just wasn't that easy, even after everything that happened, to end the life of a kid.

Ka'lara's grip on the weapon shook as it tightened and she stopped, still a good many yards away from the kid. "I can't kill him...", she said softly. There was just something in her heart that prevented her - even after all that happened she couldn't consider the kid evil, not if he came from a race that was doing this long before the kid was likely born. It sounded like something that had been taught to him... like some sort of racism or something. She couldn't kill the kid because of that, she could only hope that he learned something from this... That was, unless The Vigilante wanted the kid's life blood on his hands.

Her hand opened then and the kunai dropped to clatter on the ground, indicating that she meant what she said. She wasn't going to end the kid while he was down like that - she saw it as a cheap shot anyway.

Vigilante put his hands on his thighs. He didn't even want to go near the kid, let alone want to finish him off while he was down. Something was coming from out in the distance. It was probably his ship to pick him up and take him off somewhere so he could go heal. Vigilante was just glad this shit was over with.

Ka'lara looked like she was going to go put a finishing blow on the kid, but in the end, she couldn't. Vigilante didn't say anything. All he wanted was to go back to the tower and lie down for a few days.

"Look, kid... I don't know what your problem is, and I don't care... but why don't you just like... fly away somewhere... Go back off into space and go find someone else to bother, yeah?... I'm sick of getting my ass kicked..."

He hoped the kid heard him, and took his words to heart. This had been a couple of the hardest fights of his life, and he wasn't looking forward to something like this again for a long time...

The Attack Ball drew closer... but then came the female. She looked like she wanted to finish him off. Kyuuri was worried, he didn't want his greatness to end in the dirt of a backwater planet such as this, but he simply grinned evily at the woman as she approached. "Yes... that's... right, woman... come... and... finish off... the great... Kyuuri... while you have... the chance..."

But her arm started to shake, and she stopped walking. She dropped her weapon and said she couldn't kill him. Even all beaten up and barely able to move, Kyuuri started laughing. "And that... is what... will be your... downfall, one day... stupid... woman... You... humans... and your... sentiment..."

Vigilante added to this by saying Kyuuri should fly away into space to find someone else to bother, and that he was tired of getting his ass kicked. "...And you call... yourself... a hero??... HAH!... You're... a JOKE!... A true warrior... lives to battle!... You're... just playing... PRETEND!"

The Attack Ball arrived and landed nearby Kyuuri. It took him a while to turn over, and even longer than that to crawl to his craft after the door opened. He slowly pulled himself inside, situating himself in the seat, turning to look at them with his evil grin.

"...You should have finished me... when you had the chance! I'll come back... and i'll KEEP coming back... I don't need a reason!... Simply for the battle!... I'll do whatever it takes to finish you!... Mark my words, human..."

The door closed, and the ball shot upwards into the dark skies...

[Unless prevented, Exit]

The aliens words bothered her, greatly. She was a trained shinobi, taught from about the time she could walk to fight, taught to kill. Yet, here she was with the perfect and prime opportunity to destroy her opponent and she couldn't bring herself to raise her blade and do it. She couldn't end his life in such a manner. Did that make her a disgrace to all shinobi? Or perhaps did that mean something different? It was one thing to meet your opponent head to head, blow for blow, in a normal fight... but it was an entirely different thing to kick someone while they were down, or in this case take advantage of the situation and kill them.

Ka'lara watched the alien eventually make his way to his ship and climb on board, issuing a threat that he would return and keep returning as many times as it took. Perhaps Ka'lara, by not ending the kid's life, had just signed her own death certificate in blood. She couldn't let herself dwell on that, no, she had to start training again. She needed more jutsu to utilize, she needed new tricks. She needed a new trump card. God only knew if that kid was going to find some way to come back for the third time even stronger and faster than he was this time... she needed to be prepared for that.

Ka'lara looked towards The Vigilante. "You alright to get back to the tower? I need to go snatch up my weights..." She would wait to see what The Vigilante said, ready to help him if he needed it. However, if he spoke of being alright on getting back by himself she would take off like a shot to the area near a few blocks away from the tower that she had dropped her weights, and with a similar mental command she would cause them to fly up and re-attach themselves to her wrists and ankles, drastically reducing her speed and strength once more. She would then run the rest of the way to Darkman Tower and inside...

She had every intention on seeing Junior first before heading off to train and possibly meditate on the way she was feeling.

"Yeah,i'm... i'm fine to get home on my own... but i'm not going to the Tower. Go ahead..."

The kid said he was coming back. The kid said he'd keep coming back. What had he done by accepting this damn job in the first place? Made a rival of a crazy alien kid who could turn into king fucking kong? How as this all going to end? With him dead?

Vigilante lifted himself into the air by way of his jets. He wasn't going back to the tower right now, he was going home. The tower was just a big target right now, and he didn't want to bring down further harm about the Kanes.

So, to the suburbs he went...
