| "Hang on lady. I'm gonna take you with me. I'm gonna get some help in getting you out of this thing!" The words spoken by the male repeated over and over again in her head as she felt the coffin she was imprisoned in begin to move once more. She wasn't quite sure how the male was doing it, since he sounded as if he were alone, and could only assume that the individual outside of the coffin wasn't human. Not one of her bigger worries of course: she was more interested in getting out of here before those who had imprisoned her found out what was going on.
She wasn't sure exactly where the male planned on taking her, but her fear spiked up once more. "If the Ishikawa family find you helping me... we'll both wish we were dead." It was good advice, or at least she thought so. She knew the place that the coffin had been placed was their land of Shinkai Shigai, and unless someone had moved the coffin while she was in that deep slumber, that was where she still was.
Which, of course, presented the question of... who was this male who was willing to risk it all just to save her? Willing to risk going against the very leaders of the country? Hopefully she would be able to see for herself as soon as he found someone to help him get her out. There was no further advice that she could offer; she had only paid attention to certain aspects of what they were doing, since some of it had made absolutely no sense to her. "I don't mean to be a pessimist... but the curse on the lid isn't the only one... I'm chained, suspended in the middle of the coffin: so getting the lid off doesn't guarantee me getting out. The Ishikawa family didn't want to risk me escaping... they needed me as their sacrifice because their lands magic was dying and they needed it replenished... The chains drain me of my power: but they don't let me die." It was all true of course; anyone who knew the histories would know that thousands of years ago the Ishikawa's land was dying out, and their search for a sacrifice had started - it was all very well documented because it was something they were proud of: they had saved their own land - or rather, kidnapped someone who did. Not that she knew how long she'd been trapped in there exactly... she didn't know if she could handle the truth of that or not while still stuck. | |

| It took a bit of time, but he was able to do it-- he was able to manuver the coffin up through the tower and an open space. He'd already left word with an aide to locate Sicarus and have her come help him with this. Perhaps she would be able to figure it out? Maybe. But the one person whom he was sure would be able to unlock this damn thing wasnt answering his fucking cell phone.
You know, for an immortal vampire diety with nothing but time on his hands, you'd think his father would be around more.
He'd left a message with everyone he could think of that would know where Maxi was, but to no avail.
Fuck. Fuckfcukfuck.
Turning back to the coffin, he placed his hands on it, and spoke again, attempting to combine as many phrases as he could think of with the Madness word for 'Open' and varients as he could. Each time, the coffin remained the same. Slammin g his fist into the surface again, he growled and turned to pace. | |

| There was nothing that Seraphina could do to help and no other advice she could offer up. She was useless while trapped inside, chained. She couldn't remember the words spoken, nor did she knew that the words needed to open the coffin were simply a command of one claiming who they are and demanding it be opened.
Even though she was sure they were no longer in the catacombs she could still feel her power being trained and figured that it had something to do with the chains themselves: perhaps it was more the coffin doing it then that strange pool of light she could remember seeing.
By now her body was no longer numb and a groan of pain escaped her; where the numbness was no longer located was now pained. Her body had been stretched for a very long time and her muscles were beginning to scream in protest. Still; she kept as quiet as she could. Whoever was on the other side of the coffin needed to be able to focus and her crying or screaming in pain was not going to help matters any. So, to keep herself quiet she bit down on her bottom lip; hard. She could taste the copper taste of blood but ignored it; it was easier to focus on the pain on her lip and easier to deal with that than the pain of every muscle in her body screaming to be able to relax.

| It wasnt hard. He looked just like his kid,.. older. Black and red hair, slicked back over a white shirt. This same white shirt was tucked into the black slacks he wore, which ended over the designer shoes upon his feet. The incarnation of chaos, looking neat and orderly for once in his life.
Maximillian Aoyagi King strode into the Velo City's Tower of the immortal, and was immediately shown the way up. Word had reached him of Nova's request to see himn, but not in the normal fashion-- no, it was via the strangeness that was the Cobweb. The details were few, but from what he gleamed, Nova needed help opening something.
He could only pray it wasnt a jar of pickles.
And so, the male strode in juuuust as his son began to pace the floors. Brown eyes glanced around the room, taking in everything until the came to rest on the coffin, which began to glow wildly and shake. Even from this distance, the Maxi could see it clearly -- the strange magics the shrouded this coffin, and kept it shut. Oddly, he could see something else. something that looked like a loose thread.
Huh. Well, what do ya know about that?
"Seems like you have a bit of problem here, kid..." The male chuckled, pointing at the coffin as Nova turned around. "Whats with the coffin?" | |

| The pain was only getting worse; she needed out of here, out of here or unconscious. She didn't care which at this point. All she knew was she wasn't going to be able to withstand the pain much longer: she wasn't going to be able to hold back the screaming. She could still taste the coppery taste of blood in her mouth from where she had bitten her lip but the pain from her lip was barely doing a damn thing to mask the pain anymore.
"Please... please hurry... can't stand the pain much longer." Her voice cut off in a sob.
Then... well, hell was beginning to break loose apparently as the coffin started shaking and the chains tightened in response to keep her in place. That was it; instead of passing out and going unconscious which would have been preferred, she was stuck feeling and dealing with the pain and so she began to cry out.
And then she heard a voice which caused her to quiet; head tilting as much as it could so she could listen better. That voice.. it sounded familiar. It... her brother perhaps? "... Brother.... Maximillian....? Is.. is that you?", her voice broke off in a sob and her eyes closed shut tightly. Perhaps she truly was beginning to lose her mind... surely that would be a reprieve from the pain. | |

| Nova was about to reply when the voice rang out.
"... Brother.... Maximillian....? Is.. is that you?"
....Brown eyes quickly turned violet, locked onto the coffin the middle of the room. Brother? No one had called him that in years. Saif and Zevrath were both dead-- blessed spirits in the the heavely host. But they were the only ones whom called him brother. His younger sister was only waist high when he'd left home..
"Brother? Listen here... dunno what you're trying to pull, but me family is dead." He glanced up at Nova, who merely shook his head. "Where did this thing come from, Nova??
"Basement, down in the vaults. Dunno who the chick is though. She says she was locked in there for a slong as she can remember."
"Huh." Violet eyes surveyed the surface of the coffin again, head tipping.
"I kinda figured you'd know something about this. The runes are written in madness. There aren't alot of vampires out here that are your age, and even less that would know this stuff."
"Fair enough. Well then, lets have a look." A chair appeared on the floor, fashioned at just the right height to allow him to glance over the surface of the coffin. Even a pair of glaces appeared on his nose, just for show. Maxi could figure out a few things just by looking at this thing-- it wasnt as sophisticated as Nova thought-- just sloppily done. This wasnt the work of a master rune crafter; no, the terminology was too vague. There was mistakes everywhere in this thing. He was supprised that it could even hold a charge, let alone the person inside.
"What have you figured out about it so far?", he asked, peering at his son over the top of the glasses.
"Just that one of the words in the locking phrase is 'Open." Nova replied.
Maxi rolled his and removed the glasses, facepalming loudly. "No shit, sherlock." | |

| Pain flooded through her mind but she forced it back and attempted her hardest to keep her focus. Horror crossed her facial features as she heard the response from the man she was determined was Maximillian: especially with the way he answered. If this really was her brother than she had been gone, trapped, long enough for likely everyone she knew to be dead. Did she even have a home left anymore?
The more frustrated she got the more she attempted to pull on the chains: her frustration driving back her pain and giving her something else to focus on. "It's Seraphina... I'm not dead... they grabbed me on my sixteenth birthday, when I was going to make an offering... Shinkai Shigai was dying out.. they made this coffin... to feed off of my power and stuck me in that horrible room...." What could she tell him to convince him? To make him realize what she was saying was true? Then it hit her... with tears brimming in her eyes she spoke, "I called you Illian for the first three years of my life because I couldn't pronounce your name..."
She fell silent then: feeling her magic randomly surge as she pulled against the very chains: of course that very magic was then absorbed into the coffin itself, moving through it rampantly. She kept herself quiet; if she was wrong about who was on the other side of that coffin then it was likely she was hearing what she wanted because her mind needed some sense of peace, some way to make this horrible situation better; and failing that... she was likely going to lose her mind. | |

| "I called you Illian for the first three years of my life because I couldn't pronounce your name..."
I called you Illian for the first three years of my life
I called you Illian
Illian.
"Sera..?"
Suddenly, the the air became uncomfortable. There was thicknes to it, something that couldnt be identified, but surely felt. And with this thickness came the pressure. Like the gravity had suddenly tripled, and nothing was the same. Even Nova had to back away from the sudden change in atmosphere; the area around his father was warping and changing, as arcs of black lightning danced over the Elder Vampire's skin. Fists pounded the wood, smashing the sound barrier and causing the tower to shake under the force.
"Open."
The word was as much of a mental command as it was verbal, spoken in every language simultaneously. In response, the coffin rattled in protest -- it had already proven that simply 'Open' was not the correct phrase to release the occupant. But something was wrong-- something was triggered. A sort of defense mechanism that caused it drawn upon the occupant even more so than before. Upon realizing what he'd done, Maxi grabbed the coffin and held it steady, screaming down at it in every language he knew. "I do not fucking care whom closed this coffin, nor what the fucking phrase this. In the name of madness, you will release my sister, or I will remove you-- Chaos help me -- I will remove you from esistance. Yes, you heard me correctly. I will displace you, you poor excuse for a shoe box, into a dimension of termites and let them feast upon your fucking flesh until you are no more. And when they are done, I will respawn you, only to let them do it again. And it will never end. No, it will not. I will dedicate the rest of my fucking existance to watching you be devoured by termites, you fu--
With a wail and the sound of chains scrapping across wood, the sprang open, allowing light to pour into the small space... | |

| Eyelids slammed shut as the coffin lid began to open and for the first time in several thousand years she saw her first hint of light. She winced against it, face contorted for a moment in pain until her eyes began to adjust enough to allow her to open her eyelids first a little bit and then wider. After the lid opened the chains remained in place for all but two or three seconds until they too began to release their hold on her.
The chains started to offer up slack up until Seraphina's body rested on the bottom of the coffin instead of suspended in the air. When touching the shackles connected to the chains opened, releasing her wrists and ankles, and then the chains receded into the sides of the coffin: leaving Seraphina free to exit.
However, she couldn't move at first: her heart was pounding hard and fast, sending much needed blood to her arms and legs. Soreness was easily felt but she ignored it as she looked up and straight towards her brother; tears streaming down her cheeks. He had saved her. He and... another male who looked very much like him.
She slowly climbed to her feet; about to grab on to the edge of the coffin for stability when she thought better against it: she didn't want to risk touching the thing and ending up trapped again. So, instead she reached out towards her brother for help; her hand shaking as she stared wearily at the chains that once held her. She had so many questions she needed answered: how long was she in there? How did they find her? Many more flooded her mind, but the biggest concern won out, "What if they come back... they'll know I'm out of there. They... " She closed her eyes for a moment, remember the brand placed upon her neck: hidden by the scarf around it. It served several purpose: anything from claiming Seraphina as their property to being a tracking device of sorts to keep taps on her. "They branded me when they captured me so I couldn't escape... so they would know where I always was." | |

| Sicarius had heard everything: she always did somehow. Someway. This time around? It's because she had been hearby. She had heard the conversation, had heard her father acknowldge who this female was. And it caused one thought to come across her mind as she walked into the room in time to see Seraphina climbing out of the coffin. 'I miss Demi....'She always missed Demi, she just tried so hard not to acknowledge it. It was an ever-constant pain in her heart: like being shot straight through the chest with electricity again and again. It wasn't easy to not think about it either; every so often she would stumble across something that would cause her to think about telling Demi about it... and then the crushing horror of it all would sink in. 'Why can't I have my sister back?'Yes, why couldn't Demi just remember everything and come back? If Aunt Seraphina came back, couldn't Demi? And if not then why? Who got to play God and say that her sister couldn't come back? Who thought she was honestly going to listen?! No. She was bringing Demi back. She was going to do it right now! Sadness was suddenly replaced by anger as her aura flared; causing her to glow a golden color. Arms folded across her chest and her frown deepened. "I want my sister back...", she said softly at first, but it wasn't going to last like that. No, because her power was building even bigger, causing the very air around her to be charged with it: like an electrical plant on over-drive. "I WANT DEMI BACK!" And the temper tantrum started, tears pouring down young Sicarius' face as her bottom lip began to tremble. Her power increased, more and more of it unlocking like chains being snapped. "I WANT MY SISTER BACK RIGHT NOW!", suddenly screaming, more power unlocking as the charge in the air grew even heavier. The lights over head grew brighter and brighter until they shattered into glass dust; leaving nothing but the now very bright glow of Sicarius to light the room. Her hands clenched into fists as her eyes bled to violet. There was no turning back from this tantrum, no controlling the massive amounts of power she had released. Her body began to rise up into the air, suspended simply by the massive amounts of power she had unleashed upon the world. A single power fueled by all of the rest kicked in: Imagination Manifestation. Through a great deal of focus she called upon Demi, or rather another dimensions version. It was her sister just the same: only this Demi hadn't been turned into a vampire, she had been born as such. The more she focused she more this female would appear; first a whisp of smoke, then a shadowed outline, then as a ghost, and finally into a solid being. The more the female spawned the lower Sicarius began to float. With a final grunt she completed the process; giving her sister the exact Transcendent Vampire Physiology that she herself had stolen: a duplicated copy. When her feet hit the floor she let out a whisper of "Big sister...", before collapsing, her body dropping towards the floor. - Child MInded:
Name: Child Minded Type: Personal Description: No matter how old Sicarius gets she will always have the mind of a child. That isn't to say she will be stupid or uneducated; she simply will forever have the reactions and expectations of a child; as well as the imaginative abilities. Applications:
Imagination Manifestation (Anything you Imagine you can Do or Make Happen)
However, Demi wasn't the only person to appear... oh no, something far darker had. The mental guardian as she had called him, otherwise known as Pyra. The one she had always turned to when something scared her, when her child-mindedness kicked in and she lost all control over her rational or irrational fears and phobias. | |

| - Summon:
Name: Summon Power Rank: PC Description: This technique gives those of Kane blood the ability to instantly summon Jr to them, no matter where they may be. Alternatively, Jr can also summon his family to himself, and reverse summon himself to any of his family members without being called.
...So, yeah. With all of these strange creatures and people suddenly appearing, someone else appeared too, unscheduled. Uncalled. A kid that looked like the spitting image of Alec Kane seemed to just... walk out of Sicarius, right before she started to fall. He was wearing a grey windbreaker jacket with a grey turtleneck beneath. He wore grey loose fitting slacks and black sneakers. Jr had a mop of white hair that highly resembled his father's. He had pale colored skin and red eyes. As Jr looked just like his father, that meant he'd also resemble both Nova and Sicarius. Right after he reverse summoned himself through Sicarius' Angelic Kane blood, he immediately reached back with his right arm and caught his cousin before she smashed her head to the floor. Jr had a look on his face that was somewhere between sleepy and frustrated; not because his cousin was falling backwards for some reason, or because of the strange situation going on here. It was deeper than that, and part of the reason he was here. Maxi was here. He hadn't seen the guy in years, since that incident with Flynn and Demi. Jr hadn't really gotten to know the vampire that well himself, but he knew who he was from Murder Inc, and knew that he and his father were good friends. So that made Maxi alright in Jr's book. Nova was here too; they'd both lived on Sunset Isle for the longest time before he relocated here and took over. The girl in the coffin? No idea who she was. There was a girl that looked like his sister Demi though, and some other person/thing too. The same sleepy/frustrated look remained on Jr's face as he looked between them all and back to Sicarius; Jr wasn't one to be afraid of big scary looking things/people. ”Uh... something tells me maybe I showed up at the wrong time...” said Jr, on one knee to let his cousin rest against his leg like a sort of makeshift chair. ”I came here with some news of my own, and I guess i'm lucky to have ran into you, Maxi, cause you're probably gonna wanna hear this, but... someone mind filling me in on just what the hell is going on here?...”While it would have been very easy to use telepathy and figure it all out for himself, Jr would rather have done things the old fashioned way and have one of them tell him. | |

| What... the fuck.
There was just too much shit going on at once to be able to organize exacly what just fucking happened. But there was several things that he was sure of.
1.) The coffin was opened, and his father freaking out, tears streaming down his face as he damn near pulled the woman whom was trapped inside out, hugging her tightly. Nova thought the fucking power show was over, but apparently, it was only begining.
2.)Sicarius was having a meltdown. Full blown meltdown, and judging by her screaming, she wanted thier eldest sister Demi back. While Nova knew (roughly) where Demi was, he couldnt really figure out what Sicarius was getting at. If Sic wanted to see Demi so bad, they could always go on a day tri--... what the fuck was this? Why was Demi standing in front of them? Had Sic summoned her? And where was he--There was something wrong. His own eyes flashed violet, staring down Demi as she was manifested. There was something very wrong. The last time Nova had seen Demi, she'd been changed; she'd been a full blooded angel, courtesy of Amaranth, something that had been done in response to a series of unfortunate events. But this Demi felt so strange, yet familiar. There was still the divine presense that she had since her change, yet it was ... darker. Almost.. tainted... with vampirism?
3.) With the appearance of Demi came another creature, something even made Nova pause for a second. As his violet gaze fell upon this creature, he noticed something-- he reeked of Sic's energy signature. Was he a manifestation of hers? He had to be-- malkavian logic was the only thing that could explain his head, which was shaped like a pyramid.
4.) Jr Kane appeared, catching Sicarius as she fell. Nova remembered him during his stay on Sunset; the spitting image of his father. While they had never interacted much, he knew Jr was good people, someone to be trusted.
”I came here with some news of my own, and I guess i'm lucky to have ran into you, Maxi, cause you're probably gonna wanna hear this, but... someone mind filling me in on just what the hell is going on here?...”
Nova cleared his throat, raising a hand and stepping up. Maxi was still a bawling mess, holding Seraphina in a deathgrip still. Sic.. well, shit. Sic looked like she was out cold. 'Demi' looked confused as fuck, and he didnt blame her. Looks like he'd have to do it. He was the boss of this city, after all.
"I... think I got this one."
After taking a deep breath, Nova launched into the tale of the past three days. About how some vampire god named Malkav tried to kidnap Sicarius while she was at the playground, and Sicarius summoned Nova because she didnt feel safe. Nova had bound the leech with the laws of the city, and Sic stripped him of his godhood for herself. Nova spared Jr. the details of how he'd murdered and devoured the guy's soul and left the body to ash.
Nova then moved into the tale of yesterday, how someone with a very similar energy signature to Malkav, quite possibly his son or something, had once more attempted to not only kidnap, but kill Sicarius. Once more, Nova came to her rescue, this time completely annihilating the second vampire with his Darkin Blade. Concerned with the effects of the blade on himself, Nova had venturted into the vaults today to lock the blade away.
It was there in the vaults that he found the Coffin that Seraphina was locked in. After unsucessfully attempting to unlock it, Nova dragged the coffin up here and called his dad to help him unlock it.. and the rest.. well...well, Jr. could see it for himself.
"Basicly... you showed up just as everything ended, man." | |

| Well, Chaos about summed this all up. But, Seraphina couldn't be bothered to care. Nope, because she was preoccupied with her brother who was crying his eyes out and hugging her tightly in a deathgrip of a hold: none of which bothered her in the slightest since she too was hugging her brother back and crying just the same. She was free from that hellish prison and not alone: that was about all that mattered at the moment.
A new arrival in the room caused a hell of a magical show; going so far as to manifest not one but two entities: one slightly more 'normal' looking than the other... and in fact, which looked like a female version of Maximillian. Strange, but she was sure that wasn't the strangest thing she would see.
Then, there was a young looking man appearing out of Sicarius; seeming to step right out of her before catching the fainting or sleeping child. The man said something about having news of his own and how Maxi would likely want to hear it before asking what was going on: which Nova explained.
All of the distractions were more than enough to keep her from thinking about those who had imprisoned her for the time being.
-------
Sicarius was out like a light for all of thirty or so seconds before her eyes opened and she stared; blinking. She looked first to Junior who had apparently kept her from hitting the ground, to her sister Demi who she had caused to manifest, and then finally to... Pyra. Whoops, apparently she had over done it and accidentally manifested him too: likely in response to her own emotional turmoil when she had been throwing her little temper tantrum - though, little wasn't exactly the word for it.
She offered up a smile to Junior and then figured, as she listened to Nova finishing explaining about what had gone on that perhaps she too should offer up an explanation herself. "Seraphina is my Aunt; I heard the conversation going on from the other room when I was coming up here. The Ishikawa family trapped her in that coffin a really really really long time ago when the city and country were dying and used her powers to keep the place alive. I also read about it too just the other day. It happens thousands of years ago according to the books." She smiled proudly at the fact that she had read all of those books about the history. "When I saw her coming out of the coffin it made me miss Demi; but your sister Demi... I know if you say the wrong thing something bad might happen because of what that person did. So, I... made a new Demi. Or rather; she's the Demi that Demi would have been had my daddy done for her what he did for me and Nova. This version of Demi wasn't turned into a vampire, she was born as one. It's why she looks like my daddy..."
She then turned her attention back to Pyra. "This.. is Pyra. He... protects me in my head when stuff starts to bother me or scares me. I guess I made him real too..."
------
Demi could only stare; taking everyone in. She knew who everyone was of course; well, she new her family outside of Seraphina and Junior: but that was all quickly explained. Each time she got called Demi though she felt her head begin to hurt - it was a reaction to two of the same people sharing the same space so to speak. "Erm... let's call me something else, kay? Each time you call me that it hurts my head..." She looked over to her crying father, head tilting. "Name me?" | |

| The whole story was something out of some freaky vampire novel. Someone had tried to kidnap Sicarius. Nova killed this person. A relative of this person, possibly their son, came and tried to kill her next, resulting in their death next. It made Jr frown deeper. Nova went to put his weapon away somewhere, and found this coffin which contained Maxi's long lost sister, whom he thought had to be dead since he was crying like a baby, and his father had described Maxi as a hard boiled killer much like himself. For him to be crying like he was must have meant that she was once close to him. This triggered something in Sicarius, who then conjured fourth another version of Demi, and also an imaginary monster of sorts that lurked around inside of her head. As already stated, Jr – who could easily manipulate time and create explosions that ranged from small sparks up to super novas – did not scare easily. Jr wasn't going to dwell on this situation for too long. Shit happened for a reason, he was one that knew this well. This was not his city; he'd let them all sort out their own situations. He'd only showed up here to let them know what was going on with his father and his niece Amaranth, but with the news that someone had tried harming his cousin that he didn't really know yet not once, but twice, he wasn't going to leave here without leaving her something behind to protect herself. His most prized ability, one that had saved his and many of his family members many times, whether they knew it or not. Jr touched the bell hanging at Sicarius' neck. If one looked at that moment, they would be able to see a transparent representation of a clock, it's hands spinning around the dial. - Time Manipulation:
The user can manipulate the flow of time of a general area or a specific target in various manners, the basics revolving around accelerating, slowing, stopping and even rewinding or looping. The range of area affected is proportional to the mastery of the user, with top levels can affect the entire space and time continuum.
Since "time" exists and flows within "space", the two are interrelated, and by manipulating time, one is basically distorting space proportionally. The effects of this relative distortion can vary, such as controlling time of a mere object or person may not affect the space they reside in, but to twist the time-stream of a region of space can cause the area itself to warp. Due to time existing in one space, manipulating it cannot affect another dimension. Applications
Accelerate, slow and/or stop time to others while being able to move freely. Appearance of Enhanced Reflexes and Enhanced Speed Flash-Forward Temporal Looping Loop the time to gain Infinite Supply. Temporal Rewind to reverse the effects of recent events: Repair damaged objects. Resurrect the dead. Temporal Healing Accelerated Probability Manipulate how time affects both living beings and objects: Move the effects of time elsewhere. Slow or stop effects of time. Reduce things to dust. Time Theft Chronokinetic Constructs Parachronal Cognition Perceive both past and future. Perceive the history of objects. Temporal Cognition Temporal Duplication Temporal Erasure Temporal Matter Selection Temporal Protection Temporal Trapping Timestream Shift
Techniques
Chronokinetic Combat Temporal Slicing Time Perception Manipulation Time Travel by traveling either forward or backward through time.

I'll trust you're not the type to abuse a gift like this.”Jr stood again and helped his cousin back to her feet, straightening her clothes out for her. Red eyes look to Maxi's sister then. The aroma he picked up from her let Jr know she'd been in there a very, very long time. She was in an age now with technology mixed with the supernatural, where freaks and weirdos lurked in the shadows to prey upon unsuspecting females such as she. The female would need something to protect herself, and Jr had just the thing for her. It was something made by his grandfather, and probably the inspiration for his father's Blind Fury Stick Sword that he'd created over in the other dimension of ninjas. As Jr himself wouldn't need it since he was no longer scared of the world, it would make a perfect gift for a new arrival in a new world. Jr reached in front of him into one of his “pockets.” Time and space would bend around his arm, resembling plastic wrap. When Jr brought his arm back out, he was holding onto what appeared to be just a simple stick. With one hand near the middle, he used his other hand to grab the top and pull up somewhat, revealing the stick to have a hidden sword within. The sword let off a mysterious cold fog and could be seen glowing. While holding the sword, Jr seemed to be just an ordinary human; the secret power of the razor sharp unbreakable weapon. No one or nothing would know who or what she really was while it was in her possession. He stepped over to her and the bawling Maxi, handing the stick to her. - Dimensional Storage:
Sub Power of Symbiotic Costume
Capabilities
The user can put items/beings into a separate dimension for safe keeping, and can summon them back with relative ease.
Users have different methods of "Pocketing": some have holes or areas on their body that "suck" objects in, some use a "Bag of Tricks" or "Magic satchel" to hold infinite amounts of objects inside. Others can create a "floating" portal or simply reach behind/in anything and pull out the wanted item. Some users can even use the style of "Trade In/Out" for any items that they have right now and the items that they want from their dimension, ex. trading a pistol for a shotgun or one's clothing for a new tier set.
- Chameleion Stick Sword:
Name: Chameleion Stick Sword Type: Weapon, Sword Rank: All - Appearance:
Description: The Chameleion Stick Sword disguises a full length 28 ½ inch straight katana blade. This sword has an overall length of 39 ½ inches and appears as though it is merely a walking stick. However, the stick is actually a real sword crafted of fully tempered “Cold Steel” with an etched temper line. (“Cold Steel” is a mysterious glowing metal from another dimension that is unbreakable by any means. Little effort is needed to cut through almost any substance/armor/shielding/ect,ect. Containing an endless chill, a fog can be seen constantly rising from the metal when unsheathed.) Zatoichi, the legendary blind Samurai, would be proud to wield this stick sword which features a genuine wooden handle and scabbard. The handle is 10 ½ inches long. This cane sword has the following specifications: point of balance is 8 inches, width at guard .98 inches, width at tip .80 inches, thickness at guard .25 inches, thickness at tip .20 inches. - Camouflage:
Around humans and other species that don't know but can sense what she truly is, the weapon gives Seraphina the ability to blend with the world to seem like "just another human." This ability is best used when infiltrating an enemy stronghold, when getting close to a high profile target, or when she just doesn't want anyone around to know who or what she really is. Becoming stressed or being attacked/attacking someone causes this ability to wear off instantly.
”Here, take it,” he said. ”While you hold it, you have nothing at all to worry about, trust me. You'll see once you grab it...” | |

| Nova listened quietly, waiting and watching. Sicarius was being with gifted with something, the faint outline of a clock would give him a hint of what it was; quite possibly something to do with controlling time? Only time would tell, no pun intended. Stepping closer to Demi, he reached out and gave her a pat on the back. "Give him a minute, sis. I don't even think he's realized what's going on outside of hugging her." He grinned at his sister, turning to face her and nod. "Perhaps I can do it? I don't think he'll mind; and I think I know one that might fit."
He'd been about to speak when a bit of movement caught his attention out the corner of his eye. The giant creature with the weird shaped head was moving for the first time since he'd been.. materialized. He was, making its way over to Sicarius, kneeling and reaching for her. He watched for a moment, waiting to see what would be said before turning back to his elder sister. "So, what do you say? How does Syphia sound for a name?"
(Sorry for the shortness. Just trying to keep this moving.) | |

| Sicarius looked down as she watched Junior place his hand on the bell hanging from the color around her neck. Curiosity shined in her eyes as she watched what appeared to be a clock appear: and an ability get placed on it. She figured due to the clock that it was the ability to manipulate and control time which of course would come in handy especially if another member of Malkav's family showed up and attempted to attack her. She smiled at Junior and nodded to his words. "Thank you very much! Don't worry, I won't abuse it. I know bad stuff can happen from messing with time; so I'll make sure I'm careful and I'll only use it when I have to."
She took her attention from her giant bell and over to Pyra as he finally moved towards her, kneeled down, and then reached for her. Giggling she crossed the last little bit of space to him and gave her new friend a hug: rather glad she had ended up materializing him like she had. He might have looked scary, or induced fear into others - outside of those in the room who didn't seem bothered - but she hugged him anyway because she knew better than to be scared of him: he had protected her in her mind after all, and would likely do the same in the physical world now. "Pyra, you might get to whoop somebody: weirdo's keep trying to attack me and my big brother kept having to kill them."
-----
Meanwhile Demi looked away from her father who was still busy hugging his sister - not blaming him in the slightest for his distraction - and turned her focus back onto Nova. She grinned and nodded. "Alright then.", she said when he suggested naming her. She didn't mind who did it; and was sure her father wouldn't mind Nova doing it either. When he suggested Syphia she grinned again and nodded once more. "Aye, I like that name... Syphia." She glanced over to her little sister who was busy hugging the man with the pyramid head. She listened to the words Sicarius said and frowned lighty: hearing that someone had tried harming her sister was messing with her.. and making her want to nuke half the world - but she wasn't going to do that just yet. She had just been 'brought to life' so to speak, no point in risking her neck yet.
-----
Seraphina couldn't be happier: she was out of that horrible coffin and had been reunited with Maximillian. She sniffled, raising a hand to wipe away her own tears while barely paying attention to anything or anyone else in the room outside of her brother. That was until Junior came and approached her with a small and slender weapon. Seraphina took the weapon with her free hand and looked at it curiously; instantly picking up on its ability. Yes, this would come in handy, and help her hide amongst the people in the world no matter how different she might look at the time. "Thank-you.", she said to Junior. | |

| Maxi's sister took the Stick Sword. Jr nodded his head to her when she thanked him. The big guy with the pyramid thing on his head reached for his cousin, and he nearly went into action before remembering what this guy's purpose was. Instead, Jr merely twitched his large white wings somewhat. Jr stepped around on Maxi's other side. He was in a pretty emotional state right now, and Jr didn't know if he'd care to hear about the world of shit one of his oldest friends was in, but he decided to give it a try anyway. Jr lie his right fingerless gloved hand upon one of Maxi's shoulders. While he began to talk, mental images of everything he said as he said it, and the people he spoke of, would be sent to Maxi, Sicarius and Nova. It would be the same as if he were narrating a movie playing inside of their heads. Maxi had that cobweb thing in his head though; would this work when it came to him? - Telepathy:
Sub Power of Angelic Physiology
Capabilities
The ability falls into two categories, Telepathic Communication, which is the ability to transmit information from mind to another, and Telepathic Perception, which is the ability to receive information from another mind.
”Listen... I don't mean to steal the show, I know this might be a real bad time to spring this on you all, but you're just like family and I have to get this out. Not very far from here, there's a place called Pacific City. Almost as huge, it was built as a direct rival to Edge, by scientists jealous of my father and my grand father Darkman. The scientists considered themselves gods among men and began conducting forbidden experiments on humans and other species. While their science project was somewhat of a success, there was an accident that turned the majority of Pacific City's residents into flesh eating zombies.
“Not only that, but there appears to be what we're calling “Smart Zombies” in the mix as well. My dad is over there right now. I don't know how he got there. The scientists also created themselves a copy cat Dead Zone like the one we have in Edge, and dad can't use all of his powers and abilities, but he still has his strength, knowledge and a lot of his speed. I sent a guy he hired 5 years ago, a super hero that calls himself “The Vigilante” to rescue him, because he built a suit that runs on man made technology. Dad refused rescue and said he's staying over there until he gets to the bottom of that mess. Dez created a cure and sent Amaranth to deliver it to him, and she's in there with them. Right now they're escorting survivors through the city and to The Bridge, which is the only way out of there.”Jr took his hand from Maxi's shoulder and stepped back, shoving his hands into the pockets of his windbreaker, which also caused the mental images to cease. ”...I just thought you all should be informed, just in case he doesn't make it back.” | |

| Sicarius hugged Pyra and then turned her attention to Junior when the telepathic message complete with pictures started to show up in her head. She watched and listened; it all like a movie inside of her skull as she saw everything he was showing them. She saw how Pacific City was built as a rival to Edge City and about how people had been conducting experiments on humans and other species alike, then about how there was an accident that turned the majority of the population into zombies. She tilted her head in curiousity as she then listened to how there were even things called Smart Zombies with some level of human intelligence: something she knew would make them all the more dangerous. She then listened as he explained how his father, Alec, had somehow gotten over there and how an individual named Vigilante had gone over there to get him but how Alec had refused to leave: how then Destiny had come up with a cure and Amaranth had gone over with it and now they were trying to save people.
A small frown formed on her face: she didn't like hearing that some member of their family was in a dangerous situation like that, but also knew that she wouldn't be allowed to go over there and help: especially with all of the weirdo's that had been showing up and trying to do her in. "I hope they make it out... I don't want anyone else to die or disappear.", said Sicarius softly.
-----
Demi nodded in agreement with her sister as she wandered over to the window and stared out of it: it was going to take a little bit to get used to being 'back' or 'here' in a manner of speaking so she knew that running half cocked off to an area where her powers weren't going to work wasn't the wisest decision. Hell, Sicarius would likely stop her the second she tried anyway. "I will never understand why people do the things they do... warned not to play God and yet they do it anyway, and now people are suffering." She still knew who everyone was, and therefore she knew very well who Alec was: if anyone would get people out alive it would be him, this Vigilante person, and Alec's granddaughter Amaranth. | |

| ”Dad's been in crappier situations before. He'll get out just fine...”
Jr didn't know what was up here really, but he got the jist of it. He didn't even know if this girl here that looked just like Demi was really Demi, or even if she knew who he was. She'd been conjured out of Sicarius' imagination after all, and Sicarius barely even knew him or his father.
Jr had spent enough time here. Edge had already been bossless for 5 years; he had to hold up to the responsibility that his father had given him, and also be around just in case something happened. He stepped back over next to his cousin and put an arm around her. ”You can bring me or my sisters here the same way I brought myself. If anything were to ever happen, remember this, alright? It works with whoever is a Kane.”
Jr seemed to join with Sicarius again as he vanished...
