A new world...
Spook took some time to settle in. Since entering this new world, He felt as if the one he'd previously come from was holding him back, restraining him, but here... here he felt limitless. He felt that he no longer had a chakra reserve, that he would never run out unless purposely wasting it all. Spook even began to realize that traveling dimensions even granted him a new set of techniques, such as the ability to move things with his mind, to read the mind of others, and even change how he looked by merely thinking about it. After studying and blending into this world, taking a look he thought would suit him, he had plenty of time to practice and train his new techniques. Spook could only wonder the fate of his fellow ninja, especially Aisling. All he could do was hope that they ended up somewhere better.
This new world was nothing like the old one he'd come from. This world was one ruled by technology and science. It was a futuristic place where the villages were called "cities," and evil tended to use things called "Guns" instead of taking up Ninjutsu, or manipulating chakra. Through his own intelligence gathering techniques he was able to learn that Alec Kane, the version of "Him" in this dimension, was the "Boss" of this huge, strange place made of metal and concrete, where people traveled about in metal boxes called "Cars." Alec was the head of "The Company," and flyers throughout the city indicated that he was hiring on new members. Workers were said to be well taken care of. Spook was a stickler for hard work; this much was known. Money was everything where ever you were, and after adjusting himself to this world Spook decided that he'd need to start earning. Unfortunately he would have to start again from the bottom up, but the job opportunities in this city looked to be plenty.
While engaging in his Parkour method of travel Spook happened to glance down while jumping from one building to the next, and come upon a group of thugs surrounding a man in an alley way. Bits of the conversation that Spook could hear let him know that the 4 men were robbing the man they surrounded. Spook had his dealings with muggers and things of that sort, and he knew bullying someone no matter what dimension he was in was wrong, so quickly he'd change directions and head toward the scene.
Spook could use his Chakra, or "Chi" as it would be called here, to have a sense of strength of potential opponents. His sense of strength let him know that the 4 below weren't very strong individually, so they'd banded together for strength in numbers and the intimidation factor. This was going to be easy, and take very little effort.
One of the thugs was suddenly snatched off of his feet, screaming. He wasn't seen, or heard soon after.
Another thug, now nervous, was punched in his balls. The pain was immediate, bringing a loud yell from his mouth. 3 punches to his mid-section followed this, knocking the wind out of his lungs and breaking ribs like twigs, before a final punch slammed into the bottom of his chin. The impact send him flying upward. No one knew where he landed.
The 3rd thug was terrified. He and the 4th looked around everywhere, wondering who it was doing this, but they saw no one. All they could see is the unconscious body of the 1st hanging from a nearby fire escape upside down, terrifying them further. The 3rd thug was then kicked in his left leg hard enough to send him flying off of his feet. While airborne something else hit him hard. He went flying and bouncing off of the ground, walls and garbage bins to land and stop somewhere covered in filth and the dirty water from the alley.
The last thug saw a young man walking toward him dressed in a black hoodie, black pants, black sneakers. Underneath the hoodie the young man wore what appeared to be a gas mask, the eye portions on them glowing green. The handle to swords could be seen on either shoulder. The hoodie was sleeveless, broadcasting ripped muscular arms from constant daily training, the forearms wrapped in medical tape. The thug was scared, but pulled a knife of his own and rushed at the young man. He was successful in stabbing him with it, but wasn't expecting at all for the man to just disappear in a puff of smoke, making him cough. He also wasn't expecting to be kicked in the back with what was called a Mossberg 500 kick. He was sent flying further down the alley to roll and bounce in a violent fashion before passing into the sleep of unconsciousness.
The mugged man looked terrified too as Spook approached, but he did nothing but help the man up and dust off his clothes for him. Spook even dusted his shoulders off and straightened the wrinkles.
"You alright?" he asked.
"Ye-yes...That-that was... amazing! Tha-thank you for saving me."
Spook shook his head. "No problem."
"Here, take this I want you to have it. It's not much but call it my thanks." The man handed over 300 credits. Spook took the money and looked it over, which earned a strange look from the man. "...You're not from around here are you?"
"You're right. I'm from far, far away...I still have alot to learn about this place. Thank you for this. I should be going now, you be careful." Spook ran up the wall, hearing the man say good bye behind him...
