Beach Trip! [Vigilante][NR]

Cala ran down to her suite, and after informing her sister that she was taking off for a few days, and ensuring that she knew how to get the robots to get her food, and double checking she was sure how everything worked: including the phone she left her sister to be able to reach her, she went into her room and began to pack.

She threw several sets of clothes including some sun dresses, some shoes including flip-flops, and a few different bikini's into the small backpack she had snagged, rolling everything up to ensure that it all fit very well. She threw a beach towel in afterwards and then closed her bag up. She tucked her pendant inside of her sleeveless hoodie and threw her bag over her left shoulder. After stuffing her set of the suite keys into her pocket she took off, heading out into the hallway.

She glanced towards V's suite, wondering if he was ready too as she walked down to his door. She hadn't decided yet how exactly she was going to Sugure: run the whole way? Fly? Not like she could teleport... She supposed she'd wait to see how V was going to go about getting there.

V was already out in the hall, dressed in his Armor. Before his eyes, the computers played out the distance that he would have to travel to reach the island of Sugure No Shima in 3D; the data previously sent to him by Alec. Most of it was a journey over water, which he could fly above with his cape, quickly after gathering enough kinetic energy, and being able to maintain his height with the jets in his boots. If he ran fast enough, with his calculations the entire trip would take several minutes.

He let his grandparents know what he was up to. Grandpa bought that RV he'd always dreamed of, and the two of them took to the roads. He let Stretch know what was up after leaving him another cut of funds for his work in helping him track down Cala, and he set all of his cameras to record. V had a couple of different pairs of swim trunks, sandals and 2 wife beaters in the bookbag he wore.

Cala approached from the end of the hall. "Hey... Been meaning to ask you, how are you getting to this island? I can fly there. You're a Vampire, can you turn into a big bat, or a bunch of little bats like the do in the movies?"

She laughed softly and nodded as she walked to the stairwell that would lead them up two floors to the roof. "Actually... I can. But, I can fly without doing that, it tends to freak people out... Flying is probably the fastest way there after all... besides running, and I don't feel like pulling a Jesus and running across the ocean like Demitria does all the time... Get those religious fanatics all riled up."

She stepped out on the roof and glanced up towards the bright sky, mumbling about how she was glad the sun didn't make her burst into flames like younger vampires. She moved to the edge of the roof and then launched herself up into the air, following the mental directions that Demitria had provided via the cobweb; heading straight towards Sugure no Shima.

Vigilante walked up to the roof behind her, wondering why she didn't fly that night she was chasing after him. He started to wonder just how many strange powers that Cala had. She was over 400 years old, there was no telling.

Vigilante didn't take straight off like she did, instead he ran several laps around the roof of Darkman Tower to build the kinetic energy, before diving off the side to add to it tremendously. He was off like a bullet, his scanner keeping track of where Cala was while heading in the same direction...

Cala flew straight and true to the island, though she didn't go as fast as she could have. She was enjoying the flight, the wind in her hair, and the fact that she was going to get to spend the next several days chilling on the beach with V, minus when they had to go take care of those werewolves.

Every so often, as she flew she'd spin several times over again, or take an unexpected dive, usually followed by a cackle. Fun things, fun times. After a little while she could see Sugure no Shima in the distance, and headed straight towards the island's beach. As she got closer she shifted her body in the air, so that she headed feet first down to the sandy beach. She landed in a crouch and stood, throwing a glance around with her mismatched gaze, wondering if V had made it here before her.

An island where there wasn't supposed to be one. He wasn't going to even begin to try figuring out how someone was able to create an island out of thin air, but relished in the fact that he was being given the opportunity to visit it. He'd cruised low over the water like a black torpedo, using his jets and cape to remain just above the water's surface.

A beautiful beach came into view. The suit was totally water tight and would function under water just as it would on land, so he dove under. His speed slowed under water, and soon he was walking out of the water onto the beach. He didn't have to ring out the cape since it was water resistant.

The helmet moved away from his face and folded itself away. Some of his Nanoids positioned themselves on Matt's face and took the shape of sunglasses, highly resembling them as well, still allowing Matt to access his computer and scan things. "This place is amazing..."

Amaranth giggled as she walked over to them, having heard the comment V had made about her island. "Thanks, my mother made it. You're welcome to the whole island, there's not a single place you can't go." She pointed towards the underwater lab, where the first floor had rose out of the water: large giant windows revealing what would look like an office type setting. "My lab is over there, but it functions as much more than that.. including living quarters. You're more than welcome to stay there if you want, or make use of one of the many huts on the beach, or if you feel like dealing with the guests of the island then you're more than welcome to stay in one of the hotels, all free of charge, as will be any meals you have while here: the staff has already been informed."

She paused, thinking back to try and remember if there was anything she was forgetting. But, she couldn't think of anything, other than the werewolves. "As far as the werewolves you said you'll get rid of, when ever you're ready I have cameras set up all over the island, and they've told me that the majority of them hang around the center of the island, near the factory that created them."

Cala opened her mouth to respond when she heard Amaranth's voice and shut it. She listened as Amaranth detailed that they were allowed to stay where ever they wanted, even in her own comfortable and probably very high-tech lab, all free of charge. She also listened as she described how their meals would be free of charge as well. That was sweet!

Then she paid careful attention as she listened to Amaranth detail where the werewolves tended to congregate. So.. there was a factory creating these things? Why would someone create some dumber then dumb werewolf? That just sounded like a really bad idea, like it obviously had turned out to be.

"Thanks Amaranth, appreciate the hospitality."

Matt could feel the hot sun on his face. He could smell the water and the tropical surroundings; the deep inhale with enhanced senses brought a grin to his face. He thought it maybe a good idea to go beat up those zombie werewolf things right then and there, that way the rest of the time could possibly be spent on a beach, in the sun, with a hot barely dressed Vampire.

And everything was free! Benifits of being a Company member. "Thank you!" Matt said to the little girl Amaranth. "I'll help take care of these wolf things as soon as I can."
