Hmm, times were definately changing and this old vampyr was certainly not one to go with the flow of changes. Having said that, Kenny began to wonder what he was going to do with this day, the pointlessness of this place and it's inhabitants were beyond a joke. Nothing ever seemed to happen or at least, nothing interesting seemed to happen. So, with that in mind, Kenny pushed himself off the bar wall, the people inside laughing and singing along with karaoke songs, cheesy ones at that...urgh. Humans truly were revolting creatures, only good for the occasional feeding time. Even then they bitched about their inevitable fate, struggling to fight off said vampyr from ending their pathetic lives. Not that he cared, he rarely felt any emotion other than ecstasy and excitement when he fed. Humans ment nothing to him, neither did any other species. Everything died, so nothing was worth it.
As he began to walk down the street, some random little street rat bumped into him, snatchign up Kenny's wallet, thinking that he got away with it Scot free. Rule number one: Never walked down the street with your head faced down from view. Rule number 2: Don't bump into someone aggressively. Rule number 3: Always say sorry, showing that you're innocent and rule number 4: Never fuck with a vampyr. Kenny quickly grabbed the child's wrist, his grasp tightening to the point where the pressure began to slowly make cracks appear on his bone, the child not making a sound from the pain and shock.
"Hand it back and I might spare you."
He smiled, the child dropping the wallet and the grasp soon being released. Kenny watched as the rat fell to his knees in pain, cradling his wrist. It wasn't broke, all it needed as some medical attention. Nothing too serious. picking up his wallet, Kenny simply bowed and continued his stride down the street, a blank expression the whole way before being confronted by a man in black. Cliche alert! Kenny halted...eventually, bumping into the man. Really? He was going to start? Looking at the man, he wasted no time in getting to the point...
"I have a task for you...you'll be greatly compensated. I need you to gather some things for me."
He said, handing Kenny an envelope of 1k in credits. Oh my...How generous. With an offer like that, how could he pass up something like that? But that being said, Kenny wasn't going to come out of this with JUST 1k of credits...oh no...He was going to do this for himself as well. He was a man of his word so Kenny continued to listen to the man and the mission details. Zombies, Laboratories, Viruses and Antidotes. Lovely. Something right out of a horror game but without the action and pishy characters with the name of Chris. Agreeing to this, Kenny mentioned how he was going to obtain his own goals from this while still keeping up his end of the bargain. Yeah, why not. Help an evil company in the quest for worldwide domination. Kenny had no allegiance to anyone anyway, he was in it for himself all the way. No one gave him any reason to be good. Leaving the man, Kenny parted from his spot, heading to the factories. He knew there was something off about that place.
Arriving to his destination, Kenny simply observed the factories and planned out his course of action. There were a few zombies and mutant-like beings crawling through the grounds of the factory...why would the leader have such a place up and running? It made no sense, was he really incapable of doing his job? Oh well, not that Kenny could care. He was already dead so a bite or two from these shits meant nothing for him. The T-Virus was childsplay but those Lickers could prove a problem if left untreated...hehe...
Jumping from the ledge that he was perched on, he burst into a cloud of bats before flying up to the ventilation systems on the roof of the building, one or two zombies noticed him. Nyeh. Bringing out his blade, Kenny ran his index finger over the blade of Bloodlust, the sword absorbing each ounce that was drew, only for it to recycle again and again. With a quick one-two combo, Kenny sheathed his blade as he entered the air ducts, the zombies simply splitting apart and flopping on the ground.
All he had to do now was to find his way to the Labs. He was in the main entrance...for some reason. Must have took a wrong turn. He began to walk down the dimly lit corridor, moans of pain echoed through the halls as taps of claws joined in. Lovely, that only screamed complications. Maybe the entrance was around here somewhere, the entrance to the lab. Maybe that massive white metal door? Again, CLICHE! Pressing a button on the wall, a mechanism most likely to operate the door, Kenny entered the room, mist lazily exiting the room as the doors shut slowly. If people thought vampyrs were, they clearly never went into this damn room! Kenny shivered with fright, the cold hitting him hard in the face. God damn it. For some reason, this all seemed so easy, the scientists were no where to be seen, the room was clean and whatnot...hmm. Keeping his guard up, he walked over to a glass display case, locked by a code...
SMASH!
Nothing a little force couldn't do. Breaking away any left over glass, Kenny pulled out several vials tagged with a capital 'T', some USB sticks and hard drives. All in the room to be exact. Might as well clean the place out seeing as though it was going to be burnt to the ground. placing several charges, after feeling satisfied with his theft, he left the room, eyes fixated on the bag strap before being grabbed from behind and thrown back and forth. The fuck!? Dropping the bag quickly, he turned and embedded his fist into the creatures face, the body going limp before falling on the ground in a heap. Yuck. Teeth and bones were stuck in his fist before he shook it off, having now noticed that the once clear halls were now filled with the undead and mutated creatures...and the bombs were about to go off... He brought out Bloodlust once again, ready to tear each and everyone of them a brand new hole, the bag now flung over is shoulder.
"Really? Don't start your pish now!"
He growled, before a zombie lunged at him, his blade going straight through the torso of the creature. Hmm...lets make this quick. Kenny shifted his feet for a fair push as he then ran with all his speed, vaulting over and under the creatures, continually making mince meat out of them, some of the zombies were former scientists. So that's where they went...saved him the job... Some monsters, mainly the mutants had also managed to land a few scratches here and there...great...more things to do when he got home. Tearing several other creatures up, Kenny quickly twirled before turning, his back now to the entrance. A few were remaining but the bombs were going to take care of that. With a simple smile, he turned into a flurry of bats and exited through broken windows, soon meeting up with the man who had contacted him earlier, concealing two or three vials and several hard drives/USB sticks...his plans were about to unfold.
