In The Park [Open][NR]

Feet kicked off of the ground, causing a small cloud of dust to form, as the small child pushed herself off of the ground with her black sneaker-ed feet, and started the swing moving in a back and forth sway. Legs covered in black cotton pants stretched out and then bent as she began to pump her legs to get herself higher up.

Her top was nothing more than a black T-shirt, but she also sported a hooded red cape, which blew back and forth in the breeze as she red haired child pushed herself higher and higher. Silvery eyes were covered by eyelids, and a smile was on her face. A halo hovered, remaining in place above her head as she swing moved, glowing gold.

The swing set itself was set further back in the park, with a bench behind it. The set was higher than a normal one, at least twenty or so feet up, so she had a while to go before she had to worry about flipping the swing over. She just tilted her head back, hands wrapped around the chains, enjoying the wind and sunlight on her face.

Another day, another trip to the park. Only, at least this time she hadn't come here alone. She'd left Darkman Tower with Amaranth, and had ventured behind the smaller girl. She waited for Amaranth to pick which swing she was going to use and then picked her own; only she didn't begin to swing right away.

She stared at the ground, momentarily distracted by an ant that was crawling across the ground carrying a very tiny portion of a leaf. A smile slipped across her face and she reached up grabbing the left chain with her left hand and the right chain with her right hand. Once situated she leaned backwards and kicked off of the ground like Amaranth had done, beginning to move the swing.

She glanced to her hands, realizing that she hadn't bothered thinking twice about touching an object this time around, and was glad to know that her fingerless gloves were in place, keeping her palms from coming into contact with the chain. Public parks were horrible things when it came to picking up memories.

As the swing came back down she kicked at the ground with her black tennis shoes, keeping herself going in the process and causing a bit of dust to fall on her blue jeans. But, she didn't care. Even the black shirt she wore had a more older look to it; they were clothing to play in, not to really bother looking nice in.

She glanced over to Amaranth, noticing her swinging with her head back and eyes closed and giggled. "Just don't fall over, kay?"

Deserax was walking through the town, on this rather peaceful day. The wind was blowing at a calm speed, but still enough to blow through Deserax's hair. It felt good, no mistaking that. Still, he wanted to do something other then walk around town aimlessly. He walked around town for a bit, unsure of what to do. He had already gone shopping for the day, and avoided another scuffle in the town. Peaceful the town could be at times, it was still a place to watch your back. Since Deserax was out of places to go, he decided to go to the park. After all, he still liked to swing. Even at his age.

As he walked to the park, he felt the wind pick up but only slightly. The wind ruffled up his hair a bit more along with the breeze lifting up Deserax's red shirt ever so slightly. His black cargo pants waved with the winds motion and his slightly long shoelaces waved hello to the ground. He had a smile on his face, but was ever alert to any incoming danger. He was a werewolf after all. After 100 years on his own, he was used to sudden surprises. His mind started to drift a bit, until he heard something that sounded like feet. He looked over to his right, and then heard another pair of footsteps as well. Two girls seemed to be swinging, and it looked like fun to Deserax. He didn't want to seem creepy, or evil, so he went to the edge of the swing set. He rested his hand on the bar, and waved to the two girls.

"Hey there! Do you mind If I swing a little bit as well?" His tone was light and carefree, showing that he wanted to make a friend or two today. It was a perfect day for that after all. Oh, and the temptation to swing was a bit to much to resist. Child hood forever~

Amaranth giggled, keeping her head tilted backwards as she continued to pump her legs and cause the swing to go higher and higher up. "Don't worry! If I fall I'll just ghost myself into the ground or something--" Eyelids opened as her senses picked up on the new arrival, and her silver gaze moved in the male's direction. Her smile remained on her face, though, and she nodded her head yes.

"Sure! Go right ahead!" She didn't mind, her name wasn't stamped on the park anywhere - not that she knew of anyway. Besides, he didn't show up looking threatening an intimidating or anything; or like a bully. So, she was fine with him joining them. Maybe it'd be another friend to add to the ones she was already beginning to make.

"I'm Amaranth by the way, and this is Niala."

Her psychic senses picked up the arrival of the new person even before her stronger-than-average senses did. Turning her head slightly she offered a little wave as Amaranth introduced them. She was a polite person, after all, so she nodded in agreement with Amaranth about him being able to join them.

"Go ahead."

Turning her attention back to Amaranth for a moment she took a second to realize how visible the girl's halo was, and found herself looking back to the new arrival; slightly surprised he wasn't gawking or otherwise freaking out. That, at least to Niala, made her believe that perhaps he wasn't human: or not totally. She sent her senses out again; Extrasensory Perception was a lovely gift. The information flooded into her brain, as if given to her from some outside source: he wasn't human, he was possibly, if her information was correct, a werewolf.

She had never met a werewolf before, so figured that this was a lovely first time to do so. She kicked her legs higher, causing the swing to rise up more, now a good fifteen feet off of the ground, and leaving her about only five more to go before she'd be even with the swings top bar. But, she couldn't care less, she wasn't afraid of heights.

Ability Used:

Deserax smiled and then sat down on a swing. It was a normal swing set, nothing special at all. The seat was made of the same material as any other swing seats were. It was rather cold to sit on, but it didn't bother Deserax. He pushed himself off of the ground and started to gain height. He was swinging next to Niala, and Amarath was beyond her by one seat. He looked over at Amarath, to try and see what she looked like. She had on a lot of black, followed by a red hood. So she had the same color taste as Deserax? Cool! He then found himself looking at Niala to get a look at her. She had a black shirt on as well, along with them both having black sneakers. Niala however had on blue pants instead of Amarath's black ones. He wasn't trying to be creepy, he just liked to know what people wore. A guy could like clothes too...

He then noticed Amarath's Halo. He didn't know why he missed it. Kinda hard to miss a Halo. Still, Deserax didn't freak out or anything. If anything, it made Deserax realize that Amarath was some kind of angel. That was pretty neat. He'd never met an Angel before. He figured that they were pretty nice. They were angels after all. Could Angels do wrong? That was something to ponder.

Deserax continued to climb in height until he was close to level with the bar that held the swings. He was smiling obviously happy. "My name is Deserax! Nice to meet you both. Nice halo by the way Amarath!" He had to say it a bit louder then normal, but only because he was swinging so high and fast.

Amaranth glanced up above her own head at Deserax's words, noticing that her halo was indeed still in view. She always forgot about the thing for some reason; perhaps because it was a part of her for as long as she could remember, so it was like a limb or something, there, but not felt or noticed until needed.

A giggle escaped her. "Ah, thanks. Sometimes I forget the thing is there.", she said honestly, while finding herself glad that it hadn't freaked him out or anything. While most people did believe in a higher power of some sort, the idea of angels and demons seemed to freak some people out. Which, of course, got her thinking. "Good to see my halo doesn't freak you out. Most people tend to avoid me when they see it."

She let go of the right chain of the swing, using that hand to scratch at the back of her head as she grinned, before grabbing hold of the swing again and beginning to pump her legs once more. After another moment or so she became even with the bar and grinned more in anticipation of the awesome jump she was going to make when the moment was right.

She had more than reached a height to where she was level with the bar, in fact, as she continued to pump her legs she found herself staring down at the bar, her head having finally risen above it. As the swing started to move forward again she prepared herself, loosening her grip on the chains of the swing. She waited until the swing reached its highest peak after it had gone forward and then let go of the thing, launching herself right off of it.

"Haha!"

The swing fell back, losing a lot of its momentum. Niala, meanwhile, soared through the air for a moment before gravity once more claimed her back to the earth. She landed, a good ten or so feet away from where she had been when she had released herself from the swing, in a crouched position.

Grinning she stood back up and turned back towards the swing set. She walked her way back over to it, snatching up the swing as it swung back towards her and lowering it back down before sitting on it.

Deserax was staying level with the bar above him, not wanting to go higher and show off. He was rather content swinging at his current height anyway.He was able to get an absolutely amazing view of the surroundings when he reached his peak. The city was dazzling, even in the day time. All the reflective material on the buildings made the sun's rays bounce wonderfully between themselves, and looked amazing in the process. He looked back to Amarath after she had spoken. "Well, that's because... Hang on, I'll show you!" He started to gain height once more, until he was rising above the bar holding the swing. He saw Niala take off and land perfectly a little ways away. While she had Distance, Deserax wanted height. He swing fast and hard until he was just about vertical with the bar. During the final swing, he jumped off of his swing, and ended up going about 20 feet into the air.

A gleam then shined from Deserax's direction as he started to use his Transformation 2. While still in the air, he felt fur encase his body. His nose started to transform into a muzzle fit with sharp teeth and increased senses. His feet and hands changed into paws with claws, and he had a tail wagging in the air. In a flash, his transformation was done, and he was falling to the ground. His front paws dug into the sand and were quickly followed by his back claws. He stood for a moment and looked at Amarath. His eyes portrayed no evil intentions, and his tail was wagging slowly. If he could smile, he would have. So he settled for sticking out his tongue and panting a little. Aside from being stronger, faster, more flexible, better senses, double the size, and still having his full conscious about, he looked exactly and functioned like a normal wolf.

"Woof!"
