| - Special Characteristics:
- Psychic Shield:
The power to be immune or highly resistant to all psychic penetration. A psychic equivalent to Invulnerability.
Capabilities The user can erect, expand, or deactivate a psychic shield, which will protect against any or all mental intrusion. This includes defense against psychic or empathic powers, hypnosis, as well as illusions and deception. Mind readers only “hear” static, while mind controllers are incapable of manipulating those shielded. Applications See through mental illusions and deception. Resistance to mental intrusion. Protect others similarly.

- Enhanced Archery:
The ability to possess great skill in the use of bow and arrow. Variation of Weapon Proficiency.
Capabilities This is the ability to use a bow effectively by propelling arrows at superhuman levels against their intended target.
- Enhanced Marksmenship:
The ability to achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets. Sub-power of Enhanced Combat.
Capabilities The activity in the user’s brain center for aim, accuracy and precision is drastically improved. The user's needs only to aim for an instant before they can precisely hit a target with a weapon or a blow. Can even allow one to judge extremely long and great distances amazingly accurately, so one can gauge the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately.
Can also be resistant to perception-distorting abilities such as Illumination Emission. If a target is moving the user can calculate the best method to hit the target. Visual obstructions like smoke and vegetation to not hinder their ability to get an accurate bead on their target, and their intense focus on whatever they're shooting at allows them to shut out outside distractions. Can also drop objects on targets precisely.
The user's of this ability are also able to compensate for environmental factors that would normally throw off their aim like wind, air resistance, gravity, and radiant heat (which distorts the image of the target). They do this by aiming slightly to the side and above of their target, so that upon launching their chosen projectile, the environmental factors they calculated and compensated for will direct the projectile back onto its intended target. Modern military snipers are trained to be able to do this.
It is even possible for someone to make a weapon out of almost anything in their environment by simply throwing it, such as rocks and pebbles, pens, paper, playing cards, toothpicks, tools, food, broken glass, bottle caps, and even in the most desperate cases, one can turn their own teeth or even feces into a weapon.
In the most extreme cases one can take items like these and do inhumanly possible things. Examples including spitting their own tooth into someones skull, throwing a playing card or piece of paper through the jugular, throw a tooth pick one hundred feet and through a window to kill.
This is one of the few rare exceptions that can be acquired through intense training, as opposed to being born or acquired artificially. Snipers, marksmen and soldiers now are trained to hit their targets with incredible precision, gaining these abilities through training. Even in fiction several of the users below (especially Bullseye and Green Arrow) were not born to hit any and every target, but gaining that trait by practicing with the weapons they use.

- Echolocation:
The ability to determine the location of objects in the environment by use of reflected sound waves, whether generated by the character or ambient sounds.
Capabilities Users emit calls out to the environment and listen to the echoes of those calls that return from various objects near them, and use these echoes to locate and identify the objects. Alternately, they can use ambient sounds do the same. Since this ability isn't based on sight/light, Invisibility is useless against it, as are most forms of Camouflage.
Applications Blindsight Enhanced Hearing
Limitations When used in conjunction with normal sight; the amount of information processes is highly reduced; allowing for only a general idea of what/where items are. In order to use the ability to it's fullest ability, the user must be blinded in some way: closing of the eyes, blindfolding, etc. - Rune Master:
Name: Rune Master Type: Trained Description:One of Flynn's earliest mentors was a master of rune inscription; and passed the skill to him. This allows Flynn to customize and augment his primary weaponry with extra abilities and powers. The runes are powered via Flynn's own life energy; and are not effected by magical dampening or cancelization.
- Nobility:
Name: Nobility Type: Personal Description: While not born to the highest levels of nobility; Flynn is still of pure-noble blood; and as such hold a very high ranking among his people. Leadership, extremely high intelligence, and enhanced abilities are common within the Nobility Castes.
- Alpha Physiology:
The ability to be vastly superior to one's kind, and evolve further through experience. A combination of Supernatural Condition and Self Transcendence.
Capabilities The user is vastly superior to any member of his/her species (natural or supernatural), and evolves further to overcome any trial he/she may encounter, learning quickly and effortlessly what takes ages of hard work to others, and growing substantially stronger/better with each challenge. Members of the opposite sex are strongly attracted to the user, both naturally and supernaturally, as he/she basically personifies the pinnacle of their species. Additionally, the user radiates a strong aura of persuasiveness, probably a side-effect of his/her overall superiority and amazing prowess.
- Enhanced Combat:
The ability to possess superhuman levels of hand-to-hand fighting skills and excel in various forms of combat. Sub-power of Enhanced Condition.
Capabilities The user is able to become unbelievably skilled in most known forms of fighting. They can be exceptionally proficient in the fighting traditions of a variety of cultures and become advanced with their own individual methods of close quarter combat, including martial arts (from all over the world), boxing, and wrestling. They can also become superhumanly skilled in their use of weaponry.

The power to remain in the peak physical and/or mental condition of user's species with little or no maintaining.
Capabilities The user is at the peak physical and/or mental condition of their particular species can achieve without any super-/unnatural methods. This usually entails that they are faster, stronger, more intelligent and overall superior to fellow members of their species without being obviously supernatural.

- Dermal Armor:
The power to have innate armor for protection.
Capabilities The users has or can generate an innate armor as a part of their body, which is resistant to attacks, harm or pain and temperature extremes. The armor varies from obvious, physical defenses, such as scales, thick skin/fur, natural shield, armor or shell, in-organic skin, etc, to bone-nodules below skin, particularly wide/sturdy rib-cake, blubber, or simply dense muscle.

- Shapeshifting:
The power to transform and reshape form of one's body. Capabilities The user can shapeshift their form, transforming and reshaping down to the genetic and cellular structure. They can impersonate others or enhance one's body to combat, either by turning into animal, monsters or make the body stronger. Users with particularly flexible abilities can manipulate their form at will, combining abilities, traits, etc, even being able to form limbs into weapons and reforming after being blown apart by explosives. Variations Animal Morphing: Transform into animals. Beast Morphing: Transform into beasts. Body Manipulation: Manipulate any aspect of ones body. Natural Weaponry: Form ones body into weapons. Doppelgänger Morphing: Take the appearance of other beings. Malleable Anatomy: Rearrange the physiological features of oneself. Partial Transformation: Transform parts of one's body independently of the rest.. Size Manipulation: Change the size of oneself. *** - Quote :
- Users may require visual or genetic source material for a copy to be made.
May retain characteristics of their original form in their new shape (i.e., color scheme, birthmarks, scars, etc.). All Daoine are born with two form; Hybrid and Animal. To gain a third form; the user must have access to visual or genetic information of the new form. In the case of a humanoid form, you need only time and energy to create the new form. Cannot obtain 3rd form is younger then 2000 years old; nor can you gain the form of another Daoine subspecies. (You must use the actual animal for the base, not another Daoine.)
- Omnilingualsim:
The power to instantly speak and understand any language fluently.
Capabilities User can speak, write, understand and communicate in any language including computer codes, languages that has never been heard before, sign language (even lip-reading), illegible words, and backwards speech and writing with little or no training. User may even communicate with animals or read body language. This ability works by either or both of two faculties:
Projective Omnilingualism- the translation of one's native tongue or telepathic/subliminal broadcast of one's communication intentions to the minds of others, so that one can speak one's own language and be understood by people who normally wouldn't understand the speaker. The user of this ability may not be able to understand others, but only cause them to understand him.
Receptive Omnilingualism- the translation of any written language into the user's own native tongue, or through subliminal intuition of what by physical communication means. This ability may even employ telepathic faculty, where the psychic energy is read (by hearing or sight) to understand what the message is meant to convey.
Usually this ability is reciprocal, so that the user and the subjects can understand and communicate with one another efficiently.
Variations Electronic Communication (Technoligualism) Ability to communicate with electronic, digital, and radio waves. Extraterrestrial Communication (Xenolingualism) Ability to decode any communications with aliens, i.e. an Earthling being to understand Martian (Mars) language. Faunal Communication (Zoolingualism) Ability to decipher any animal communication and perform any fluently. The user can understand and speak with animals. Animals still have wills of their own, so this power shouldn’t be confused with Faunal Manipulation. Plant Communication (Annuallingualism/Botanilingualism) Ability to communicate with flowers, trees, fruits, vegetables, pollens and other botanical life. The user can communicate either telepathically, by speaking verbally, or by touching it physically. Technopathy (Cyberlingualism) Ability to communicate with machinery, computers and other electronics. The user can hack into cyber systems, restore information and break computer codes. Not to be confused with Technology Manipulation nor Cyber Communication which is using technology to communicate.
Universe Differences May know speech/language before recognition of obtained language. May need to carry out a related task before obtaining knowledge of a language. Starfire of Teen Titans had to kiss somebody to learn their native tongue. May need to know the basics of grammar and semantics to fully utilize the learned language.
Limitations Must be explosed to the language via audio, visual or telepathic means.
- Temporal Lock:
The power to be immune to temporal-based powers. Sub-power of Chronolock and Temporal Lock, variation of Power Immunity. Not to be confused with Temporal Protection
Capabilities The user is immune to temporal based powers. They cannot be frozen in time or slowed, they are also immune to Temporal Slicing. Cannot be effected my history manipulation.
Applications Power Immunity only to temporal powers.
Name: Runic Combinations Power Rank: MP Description: Using his extensive knowledge of the rune system that empowers his bow and body; Flynn is able to combine complementary runes whenever he wishes in order to create new effects. This is only possible via the runes currently active on his bow or his body. Any runes combined this way must be approved prior to use. Name: Energy Bullets Power Rank: MP Description: A specialty of Flynn's; he is able to channel, compress, and form the runic energy within his body into small bullets that he can then fire in clusters of up to 50 per minute; each bullet traveling roughly 2000fps (feet per second). Each bullet impacts with the force of a 2 ton truck travelling at 100mph per square centimeter. Each bullet is easily able to rip through most flesh, stone, metals, and crystals; with only the highest grades of power reinforced materials able to withstand a direct hit. The bullets can be fired from any "point" on his body; that is to say, and sharp angled spot. Finger tips, ear tips, toes, the sharp points of his elbows and knees, even his mouth. However, he cannot fire the bullets from his eyes, or any broad surfaced area; nor can the bullets be formed and held near himself; they must be fired within a few second of being formed or else they will explode in his face. Name: Bullet Storm Power Rank: PC Description: By combining a large amount of rune energy with his own personal life force; Flynn is able to create an enormous ball of energy which he then fires into the air. After a wait of roughly 3 seconds; he fires a second; smaller bullet into the large ball; causing it to explode into a wash of half sized Energy Bullets which rain hell done upon everything. While the individual bullets are only roughly a quarter as powerful as normal; the sheer number produced makes up for this weakness. Roughly 5000 bullets are formed and will rain down over an area roughly equivalent to a football field. Because the speed of the bullet is determined by gravity; they move far slower then if fired directly from his body; roughly 500fps (feet per second). Name: Black Hole Sun Power Rank: PC Description: A complex combo of Runes that requires precise timing to achieve; it is nothing more and nothing less then devastation incarnate. Simple enough to start; Flynn first triggers the rune Multiply; in order to create the necessary number of arrows to complete the attack. From here, he begins the normal set up for a shielded implosion; firing 4 arrows tagged with Shield into a formation in which the effects can overlap. From here, he fires 4 runes tagged with Implosion, versus the normal 1. The 4 implosion runes change the way the Shield runes act; slowing the warping of the barrier and allowing more time for the next step to occur; however it also causes the shields to warp in on themselves; strengthening them by a factor of 10. Because of this; it would now take an explosion on the level of a gigaton nuke, or a small planet (roughly the size, shape, and density of Mars) exploding for better reference, to break. At this point, Flynn draws a single arrow tagged with Flare, and uses the power of Multiply the instant after he fires the arrow; causing it to clone itself a total of 99 times, to create a storm of 100 arrows all aimed for the exact same point. The arrows enter the AOE of the Shield-Implosion set up the instant before the shield solidifies; allowing it to contain the start of the Flare rune's power. At this point, the 100 Flare rune break, creating a hell storm of fire and solar fury; literally the formation of a small sun, contained only by the force of the Implosion-Shield combination. However, the shield does not stop the furious heat and radiation from leaking out; merely blocking the white hot plasma and concentrating it until the shield finally shatters. Anything within the shield that is no immune to the furnace hellfires of a sun is destroyed; and an area of roughly 5 city blocks is blasted with enough heat and radiation to render it sterile; if not melted into magma. Name: Blink Step Power Rank: MP Description: While seemingly an ability to teleport; this skill is nothing more then a controlled burst of rune energy enhanced speed. He does not leave the dimension, nor create a pocket space, or any of the other tricks used to facilitate teleportation; merely uses the potent energy of the runes to allow his body to maximize his's movement ability for a short period of time. While in this state; he is able to move at speeds exceeding Mach 2 (2233 fps). The bursts of speed lasts a maximum of 30 seconds before he must stop; or else risk destroying his own body from the overload of power. He must wait a full minute between each activation, to allow the rune energy within his body to replenish itself. Name: Beastial Rage Power Rank: PC Description: When in dire circumstance, or enraged by an action or event he is unable to tolerate in any fashion (usually the injury or death of a loved one); Flynn enters a state of pure rage that is so strong that it forcibly breaks every single limiter placed on his body and mind. All natural blocks are removed; and the rune limiters that act to channel, harness, and make the runic energy he is endowed with stable are destroyed. In this state; his natural strength is boosted by a factor of 20, and the runic energy released adds an additional 20 fold increase; making the total boost a magnitude of 40. There is no control to his actions or powers; the feral rage of the beast unleashed upon the world. For a maximum of 5 minutes; Flynn has the power to rival a god of destruction; however this power comes at a terrible price. His body is literally destroying itself from the inside out, and the runic energy is consuming what remains. If not stopped withing 8 minutes of trigger; Flynn's body will cease to function entirely; and he will die without some form supreme healing. Name: Piercing Roar Power Rank: MP Description: Placed at the base of Flynn's throat is a very special rune; a personal creation gifted to him via his original trainer and master. The rune is simple enough; but one that requires a precision of placement and creation that most rune users are incapable of. The name of the rune is Amplify; and it's purpose is as it seems; it amplifies anything that is pass through it. Because of the placement in his throat, when active it enforces and emboldens his voice much as an electronic amplifier would sound from a radio. In this case; the amplification is such that a simple roar creates shock waves through the air and can easily shatter the eardrums of anyone and anything not wearing ear protection. It can also create enough pressure force to knock anything not nailed down or extremely heavy to the ground (at least a ton or more in weight); or create a knock back effect that can push anything (by the same restrictions) up to a city block away from where he stands. The rune does not effect him, or anyone standing behind him when used. | |
