| What in the nine layers of hell was going on?!
One moment Shizuka had been taking a long nap at the top of the tower she was always perched on in Kurayamigakure and then the next thing she knew she was falling through the sky in a place that was much brighter, and... where those buildings? She had never seen buildings so tall before, but she couldn't think long on it. She was falling, quite fast, toward the earth. Shizuka didn't need to be a genius to know that if she impacted the earth at the speed she was moving it would kill her. She might have had some tricks up her sleeve but at the moment the brownish black haired female was stumped.
How in the world am I going to survive this? Come on, Shizuka, think!, she thought to herself. She was still quite high up, and that gave her a bit of time to come up with - hopefully - something. With a quick set of calculations she assumed she had about forty three seconds before she made impact. During the next five seconds of falling she quickly surmised what it was she had on her: she felt like she had access to all of her abilities, and she definitly had all of her weapons on her including her gunscythe.
Glancing down to the earth which was moving faster towards she felt the symbiotic armor which Alec Kane had gifted her with beginning to respond to the situation. Bare skin that had once been revealed was suddenly covered. Could it protect her from something like this? Could she shoot the ground with her gunscythe as she got close enough in an attempt to counteract her fall or at least slow her down enough to allow her to survive with just some broken bones? She had never really had a chance to test the gift Alec had given her, and she only could guess that the recoil from firing her weapon would help.
But, what else could she do? It wasn't like someone was going to fly out of nowhere and catch her before she hit... Or could they? She had no idea where she was, or if any of her friends were around, but into the wireless headset she began to whistle loudly: hopefully, someone would hear her.

| His father, himself, and his 2 sisters were in Heaven. The Jr currently sitting at the desk in the office of the tower was merely a clone, left behind to look after things while the family was gone, but it was still Jr. He could only imagine what had to be going on up in heaven. With that look on his father's face, he had a pretty good idea already, but there weren't any plagues, and it hadn't started raining frogs or anything like that yet.
Clone Jr suddenly heard a whistling sound. It was shortly before this that he could feel the presence of someone not of this world suddenly appear high up. After a few clicks on the keyboard, several cameras were pointed up in that direction. What appeared to be... a girl? Was falling from the sky. From that high up, once she hit the ground, she was going to go splat, and give some poor street cleaner a crappy start to his day.
Clone Jr opened the sliding ceiling-to-floor window behind him and jumped out, his halo and large white wings appearing as he did so. The girl fell past him, and he dove to go and catch her, quickly matching her speed. Grabbing her, he changed directions and began to slow the momentum. "I figured you'd end up here sooner or later Quiet," said Clone Jr. "People cross between worlds all the time... but we don't need you becoming street pizza 5 minutes in, yeah?"
Jr began to carry her back towards the tower.

| She was quickly trying to figure out what it was she was going to do to keep herself from hitting the ground and being turned into a pile of mush yet any ideas were still escaping her at the moment. She was just beginning to think that her last hope of any survival was going to reside souly in the symbiotic armor which was going nuts all over her body due to the situation when a glance upward showed something or someone speeding quickly toward her.
This thing, which turned out to be a rather familiar face, caught her and slowed momentum: keeping her from becoming a pancake on the street below. Junior spoke to her, saying that he had figured she would show up here - where ever here was - sooner or later. He mentioned that people came and went all of the time making her wonder if there were any other people she was familiar with in this large place at that moment in time.
Grinning quite a bit, and glad she was no longer seconds from death, she reached up and touched Junior's hair like she had a habit of doing in the other world. Like usual she remained completely silent speech wise, though she did begin to hum a soft and quite happy sounding tune as they flew toward the largest building in the whole place.

| Clone Jr carried Quiet back to the top floor of the tower. Clouds could be seen below them around floors 500 or so. Back inside of the plush office, Clone Jr put Quiet down and puhsed the floor-to-ceiling window closed.
Jr looked different here than he did in the other world. Here, he stood about 6 feet tall. He was wearing an Armani suit with a red tie, with D&G leather shoes. Jr's build could be seen as pretty muscular through the expensive suit he wore. The sides of his head were shaved, and the tops were slicked back with grease, with several bangs hanging down into his face. Jr still had the same piercing red eyes that his kid form did in the other world.
Clone Jr straightened his Armani jacket out and took a seat behind the desk again. His white feathery wings and halo disappeared, as they usually did when not in use. A few button presses, and for Quiet one of the comfortable chairs rose out of a compartment in the floor, constructed of a memory alloy that comtured to the body of the person sitting in it, ensuring maximum comfort.
"I think I should explain a few things, Quiet," said Clone Jr, leaning back into the leather seat. "First of all... i'm not really Jr, i'm just one of his clones. Him, Alec, Dez and Demi are up in Heaven at the moment, believe it or not... but that's another story. The Kanes sometimes travel to other worlds and live there for a while, looking for adventure. Where you are now is where they're really from. There's a couple of ninja village here, like that one over there," Clone Jr pointed out of one of the big windows towards the dark place on the horizon. "But here there's what's known as cities. You're currently in Edge City." Clone Jr allowed her to look around at the seemingly endless city around them through thew windows. "I'm the Kage, or Boss here. That dark place over there is where my dad Alec lives, it's called Makkuragakure, or Makkura for short. It's always night there. You can probably see why my dad took a liking to Kurayami."
"Here in this world, the Kane family are Angels. This world isn't like the other one; here people rely on technology. You're gonna see a bunch of strange things, but you'll get used to it. You're also gonna be a lot stronger here too, but don't get ahead of yourself. Some of the cities have protection fields around them that don't allow you to get out of hand, and some can even kill you. There's a bunch of freaks and monsters wandering around too, so keep your eyes open... The Kanes should be back anytime, and the actual Jr can explain more..."

| Once the feeling of 'OH GOD I'M GOING TO CRASH AND DIE' was gone the symbiotic armor settled into the usual bodysuit she normally wore with the hood down. Given she was being carried the height at which they were didn't bother Shizuka - heights never had after all, only the falling out of control part. Once inside and back on her feet she took a moment to look around the office in curiosity before getting a better look at Junior - or the clone of him as it was.
She settled down in the seat that Junior made appear, eyeing the chair with great curiosity first too. Things were definitly different here: technology wasn't something she was used to. She paid close attention as Junior's clone explained everything: the others were in... Heaven? Actual heaven? Like, the place you were supposed to go when you died if you lived a good life? He had mentioned they were angels here, so it wasn't all that far fetched, but it still sounded odd.
This world was different, more dangerous, and she could end up getting into trouble if she wasn't careful. Chances were she was going to be better off sticking around people she knew for a while before running off and exploring. She was still curious too as to how someone got back and forth between the worlds willingly. Shizuka was still trying to wrap her mind around how she had got here in the first place after all.
Still, she was willing to wait for her answers for the real Junior to arrive... As she waited she amused herself with mental images of what heaven could likely look like, as well as wondering just how much stronger she was here compared to the world she had somehow left.

| He fell for what seemed like forever. Falling, down the same path he'd taken as a child, except the first time many of his memories were lost. The fire of re-entry into Earth's atmosphere was like a breeze of warm wind because of his high immunity to fire. There was a mass of blue, and clouds below. After coasting through them while being upside down, then there was the huge metropolis that was still home in a sense. There was the big black spot to the west; Makkura. There was the river and the large island that was Sunset Isle.
With his jacket flapping wildly in the winds, a transparent pair of wings appeared that could be seen through the wild air currents of his fall. Alec steered himself towards the Tower, opening the window to step into the office on the 1,000th floor, leaving the window ajar for the kids. Alec hadn't been thinking too hard about the whole deal in Heaven. His usual sarcastic grin wasn't in his young-looking face, but he didn't look pissed or depressed either. He'd gone and went toe-to-toe against one of the best Heaven had to offer, and won. It was satisfaction enough. He knew now that his mother was sorry for what happened, and most of his siblings didn't harbor any ill feelings towards him, but it didn't mean he wanted to stay up there or anything.
Alec walked into the office and saw someone he'd never seen before. Jr was beind the desk; likely a clone left behind to run things. So even the clones had the sense enough to recruit newcomers.
"Sup? New recruit?" | |

| Secret organizations going around kidnapping and torturing people, an alien causing mass destruction without a single care given as to the consequences, then everyone suddenly heading somewhere Artemis could only guess was Heaven. Yeah, life was definitely strange and quite busy. it didn't deter her, however, from going to investigate just what had fallen out of the sky that her brother - or his clone since she was pretty sure she saw him heading to Heaven - had saved.
She walked into the office right after her father arrived by means of the window. She ran over to him, quickly giving him a hug, before her attention would shift and focus on Shizuka. Why did this female look familar--- oh right. Another world. One in which Artemis was at least a foot taller, and several years older looking in. None of that was going to stop her from launching herself at Shizuka and hugging the mute female happily.
"Shizuka!", she exclaimed.
She grinned, finally releasing the female, and would stand back so that she could actually look up at her given their height difference. "I was wondering when people would show up from that other world. I saw you fall out the sky earlier."

| After a really long fall, Jr was next to come in. He stepped back into the office to allow his feathery wings to vanish into his back as they were when not in use, straightening his coat and tie. It had been an ordeal, but from the looks of things, his father had calmed himself. Today was definitely eye opening.
His sister was in the office with the clone he'd left behind, which looked an awful lot like Quiet. Recently, a clone he made to explore other worlds and dispersed itself, implanting a long story of another entry into a ninja world where his father and sister were also. They had taken control of a village called Kurayamigakure, and once again established themselves as a powerhouse with the aid or many friends. In this world, Quiet was one of those friends.
Jr clone went up in a cloud of smoke, allowing Jr to catch up with everything since he was gone. Quiet came falling into this world, to be rescued by his clone. She still lived up to her name, having not spoken a word since arriving, and staying true to her other usual mannerisms. Jr wouldn't mind this, but everyone else would just have to get used to it. Jr took his seat in the big leathery chair, bringing up the screens to many cameras and websites above the holographic desk before him, like usual.
His sister, in miniature form again, came into the office, hugging their father and recognizing Quiet from the other world. She hadn't seen what went on above, and knowing his father he probably wouldn't tell her. "Humm. I wonder if more of them came here, and didn't fall and potentially hurt themselves like Quiet here. There were some cool folk over there. I think they'd adjust just fine here if they were to show up..."

| Things never could seem to be completely quiet. Templars kidnapping people while a secret organization known as Assassin's tried to keep them at bay, an alien kid causing mass destruction for the shits and giggles, and now a trip to heaven. Demi was pretty sure these things only came in threes, so she hoped that this would be the last of the drama for a while - not that the other drama had been taken care of as far as she knew. The 'war' between the Templars and Assassin's was still on, and as far as she knew the alien kid was still somewhere causing trouble - just not somewhere Demi particularly cared about at the moment given it wasn't a place run currently by a member of her family.
Given that Destiny had decided to go and check on Amaranth and see what Ghost was up to Demi entered into the office alone through the window her father had left open after a very long fall from Heaven. She gave a quick glance to her father, assessing his mood, only to find him handling things far better than she herself would have. Not wanting to poke at things she then looked around to find Artemis hugging another female who was very familiar: Shizuka.
"I was wondering when people were going to start showing up from the other world. Cool. Dez went to check on her kid, but she'll be back eventually I'm sure."

| Shizuka's attention shifted to the window as someone entered in through it. This individual left the window open, and Shizuka couldn't help but wonder if perhaps someone was going to come in after him. Before she could really decide how she wanted to ask this given her lack of speaking she found herself behing hugged by a little girl who clearly was a Kane by her appearance: Artemis. She was younger here, and that made her wonder if people who traveled to other worlds could change their ages and appearances at will. Either way she gently hugged the young girl back with a smile.
The real Junior then arrived back in the office, wondering if anyone else from the other world was going to show up. Shizuka hadn't seen anyone else, in fact she was still quite confused as to how she got here in the first place, so she had no idea if anyone even knew she was gone at this point.
Shizuka wandered over to the window to get a better look out of it; keeping her distance from the open window. The city was far different than the village she had left, but different wasn't a bad thing at all. This new world was full of exciting things, and likely a lot of knowledge: she was interested in exploring it.
Demi had likewise arrived, and Shizuka gave her a nod of greeting. She mentioned that Destiny had gone to check on her daughter, and found herself headtiling a bit in curiosity: how many things were different here than they were in the other world? In the other world Destiny had been a little girl with a teddybear that really was some kind of monster that burst into flames with rockets when it got angry...

| Destiny had been quite shocked with what her friend, Haikyo, had asked her to do shortly after her return from Heaven. That had of course been nothing compared to the emotions she had felt when she had found out the reasoning why the decision was being made. Haikyo had decided to step down as Boss of Soubi due to the fact that her right hand man had disappeared. Given the alien running around, as well as the business going on between the Templars and Assassins, Destiny couldn't blame her. Not having someone to back your play was a horrible position to be in, and all Haikyo needed was to come up against someone who used water to fight - it'd be game over before she knew it.
Destiny had never had any intentions of wanting a leadership position, but she also couldn't with a right mind leave the people of Soubi so utterly defenseless with bunch of crazy people running about. No, she would step in since her friend needed her, and if she found herself not wanting the position after things died down then she would simply find a suitable person to pass it off to - one who actually wanted to be in charge.
Now all that was left as Destiny propped her combat booted feet up on the desk in front of her, in her new office, was to let the family know what was going on: she was definitely going to make sure they stayed in the loop about things. Not wanting to bother texting it all she simply pulled her cellphone out of her jeans pocket, located Junior's little face icon, and then clicked call. Were Junior to answer her call she would say, "Hey, put me on speakerphone if dad's still there... you're both going to want to hear this." Were Junior to comply she would simply continue on with "So uh... Haikyo came to me. She asked me to step into the Boss position in Soubi. Apparently her second in command bailed on her, even knowing what's been going on lately. I can't really say no and leave these people to themselves... not with that alien running around, and those two factions fighting..."
It was definitely a bombshell to be dropped, but Destiny felt like she was doing the right thing. She had never been the type of person to sit back and leave others to suffer at the hands of someone else, not when she could do something about it. Unless someone else was willing to fill Haikyo's shoes it was going to be Des, and she planned on doing it to the best of her ability.

| ...Then suddenly it all came back to him. A clone went on an adventure in another world of ninjas. He and several others took over a village much like Makkura, called Kurayamigakure, after clearing out the previous corrupt inhabitants. This world had it's share of drama and tough guys, and was nothing like the previous worlds they'd visited. Alec came to realize that he'd devised many tricks and techniques there, and also made a number of new friends. Shizuka here was one of them.
"...I remember now. Quiet made her way here then, eh? We should be on the look out for others. If she got here, then others can't be far behind..."
It seemed like Jr, Demi and Art all recognized and remembered her as well. Demi said Dez went to check on Amaranth, but then Alec could hear her through Jr's phone. Dez said that Haikyo, who used to live here but took over the new land Soubi, was stepping down since her second in command apparently bailed on her. Too many old memories were in the back of his head, and it made him look somewhat grim. Alec thought there was something funny about that guy, and wondered if he realized how close he came to being shot, special protection field or not.
As Dez didn't want the city to become another warzone involving aliens and fanatical cults looking for artifacts, she elected to stay and run the place herself. Alec wondered how that was going to go, seeing as she was the go-between of Edge and Sunset, and also because of the fact that she had a kid, and Ghost.

| .oO(Switching Demi to now so I'm not posting back to back on 3 separate charries.)
Quiet had come back from the other world which meant that others would likely follow. Demi didn't have a problem with this considering the fact that everyone back in Kurayami was rather cool in her opinion. There would be plenty of places for them to explore, too, including some ninja villages if that was what they chose so they'd be plenty entertained if they came here.
Then her sister called and explained a situation that put a frown on Demi's face. Haikyo wanted Destiny to be in charge of the volcano island because Haikyo had been left alone given the situations going on. Demi wasn't sure exactly how that was going to work given she had Ghost and her daughter, along with the fact that she was constantly running back and forth between Edge and Sunset. No, Destiny doing that job didn't seem like the best idea.
"What if I did it, Des? I mean, ZeroSum practically runs itself. You've got Ghost and Amaranth to worry about: I don't have to worry about a kid or nothin'. I've got plenty of experience in keeping a business running smoothly, and I know i can always ask for help if I need it... I'll do it until we can find a permanent person. I was planning on expanding ZeroSum anyway and putting a club over there on that island to begin with given Starlette has a shop over there now... it'll all work out." Yeah, she definitely felt like she was making a good choice: her sister was needed elsewhere where as all Demi really did was run her club all day and that was easy as could be. She wasn't sure how her family would feel about her stepping up, but Demi had to be a better choice than Des.

| Artemis was quite glad to hear that there was a chance other people were going to come from the other world. She rather missed some of her friends she had made, even if it would be weird given she was much younger and smaller here than there. She could easily have herself aged up if she wanted, but for that moment she didn't really mind.
She listened in silence as Destiny called and said that she was taking over the new volcano island located near where Velo City had been. Demi quickly spoke up about it though, saying that Destiny was needed here given Ghost and her daughter, and that Demi herself would go and be in charge of the island. Demi said she had planned on opening up a club over there anyway, and mentioned that Starlette had already opened a shop up over there herself. Demi didn't have actual Boss experience, but she had been running her club for years upon years and definitely knew how to run a business smoothly. Artemis really didn't have an opinion on this: she was old enough to know that some bad people were roaming around causing trouble, and knew that someone needed to keep those people safe since their Boss was stepping down, but she didn't have an opinion on when it came to who should be doing that.
Instead, she simply pulled a lollipop out of her pocket, tore the wrapper off which she quickly deposited into the trash, and then popped the orange lollipop into her mouth while twirling in circles.

| His phone vibrated, and looking at it he could see that it was Dez. She tuened the speakeron and put the phone down. Dez described that the previous boss, Haikyo, of the new city they just recently discovered was stepping down, mostly because of her right hand guy up and vanishing. Haikyo didn't want to face all of these new dangers alone, and felt that it was best. Dez volunteered to run things, but then Demi was saying how she would run things instead.
"Uh, no kid to worry about, Demi? How about Nanalie, who has her mind set on being an Assassin? And what about your new employ Misaki?" said Jr. "If you expand ZeroSum, who's going to run the one here?... You both have responsibilites and kids and whatnot right here. You two should sort them out before running off to some other country."
Jr continued to look through the many cameras all over the city, checking to see if he could spot any one else who looked out of this world. if Quiet made it here, then there had to be others.

| Shizuka looked around between everyone as she simply listened to everyone speak. She had nothing to add to the conversation going on, but was highly curious about how much she was learning about everyone at the moment. Demi had a child named Nanalie and also owned a club called ZeroSum - she was assuming a club was something like the bars back at home. She wanted to open another and was planning on running off to this new location to do so; she was willing to be the boss since Dez had a kid and other responsibilities. However, she had a daughter to worry about who was trying to get herself mixed into another situation that Shizuka didn't know anything about. From what she knew about Demi she didn't seem the type to just up and leave her kid behind, so had she been planning on taking her with her? Shizuka was sure Demi would explain it at some point.
So, Shizuka simply went over to the window and peered out of it. She looked up toward the sky, halfway expecting to see another person falling out of the sky just as she had done. Given how tall all of the buildings were Shizuka was beginning to think that learning how to fly or at least glide long distances was going to be a very good idea - she didn't want put in the same position again. She got lucky that Junior had spotted her - or his clone anyway - and she didn't want to chance it happening again because who knew if someone would see her the next time.

| Demi wanted to take Destiny's place and run off to the volcano island and rule it. Junior didn't seem to think that this was a good idea. Artemis didn't think any of them could stretch themselves further than they were - everyone seemed to be very busy. Well... everyone but her. But she was far too little to even think about trying to rule an entire location and she had no intentions of growing up too quickly. Oh, she could have, but nope. She was perfectly fine with being a little girl - plus, she had a feeling that neither her mother or father would be too happy with her if she decided she wanted to grow up to an adult all of a sudden. "I'm sleepy. Gonna go take a nap....", she decided on saying before waving goodbye to everyone and then walking over to her father who she hugged. When she was finished she would simply turn and walk out of the office and off to one of her usual napping spots within the tower. She wasn't going to head over to Makkura alone after all - not with all of the crazy stuff that was going on - so just finding a place to nap until she got an escort back home sounded like the best idea. | The sensation of falling.
It had been an interesting couple of days. There was a summit, where that lobster Okami and that weakling Muninn were made out to look like dummies. After coming down with serious headaches the last few days, he'd realized that psychic powers had awakened within him. After a trip back to the ruins of his original village he came to find that it was all planned. He had a specially designed suit, and with it found that he could float above the ground. He lived in the desert now, with coach Emiko and Miyuki. He'd saved the village several times and was becoming known as the super hero he'd always dreamed of being.
...And now, he was falling.
He went to sleep last night and dozed off relatively quick, like usual. When he woke, he thought he was dreaming. after blinking a few times, he came to finds that he really was falling. Suna was very high up, over what looked to be the biggest village he'd ever seen in his life. Over to the left was a very dark place that looked like the blind man Alec's village kurayamigakure. the village below was really strange because it had very large buildings, like the black one in the center that rose impossibly high off the ground.
Suna started to panic before he remembered that he could fly. Knowing it was probably going to take the majority of his chakra to prevent him from becoming a stain below, he slowed himself in the air and stopped... only to feel as if he hadn't used any chakra at all. What was going on? Where was he now? Why wasn't he being drained like he was back in Sabaku when using a big move?.... This was strange indeed. Suna began to wonder if this was really a dream, or real...

| For the first time since coming back from the bad situation in heaven Alec grinned. He would rather watch the bickering of his kids than think of the shit that happened up there. So Haikyo stepped down, and both Demi and Dez were willing to go over there and run the place in her steed, but both had responsibilities here, something Jr voiced. Alec grinned because it seemed like he was growing older and wiser everyday. Alec hugged Artemis when she hugged him - wondering why she was in chibby mode again and not bigger like she was in the other world, though it didn't really bother him - and wondered how this whole Soubi situation would play out.
Alec had pulled out one of his Desert Eagles to reload and inspect it when he could feel the presence of someone else. He frowned a little, before reaching across the desk to type on the keyboard. A screen appeared with a camera pointed upward, and Alec zoomed it in. There was a person up there. He had red hair and had a gas mask over his face. There was a brown device on his back; a gourd. Alec remembered him.
"Isn't that... the kid who used to live in that forest village... Mori? He got into it with that Uchiha... Okami. Man, was that guy an asshole... What was his name... Suna-something? He moved to the desert with Emiko and his squadmate... Mi...yuki? Wasn't that her name?... So he made it here next, eh?... I didn't know he could fly though..."
Alec grinned again. More people were beginning to cross over. He didn't exactly know Suna, but now he had the chance. If Jr didn't take him in, Alec would be more than happy to. There were several ninja villages here that he'd be right at home in, and having 3 sand users - well, technically two, since Kinzoku controlled Iron Sand - was only a plus in Alec's book.
