An Interview? [Open]

Jr got up to walk around the desk and hold a hand out for Starlette to shake. Assuming that she did, he'd next open a "door" that would lead directly back to the front room of Afterlight, as to save her a cab ride. "Call if you need anything," he said. "I'm sure some of the other members will be paying you a visit. A suggestion though... You might want to find some kind of way of fast travel. You sort of come off as kind of a witch, wouldn't you have like, a broom?" Jr scratched his head some. "If you have trouble, feel free to come back and see me, we'll figure you something out..."

Yata walked in soon after. Jr nodded to him with a grin as he went to go sit back behind the desk. "I believe it's safe to say you more than proved yourself. You didn't hesitate to take that guy out. Glad to hear you'd be willing to handle more dirty work such as that, i've promoted you to Hitman. You can hold that position for as long as you want it; when you're ready to move up the ladder some more, just let me know."

Jr opened a few screens and began to look through many camera feeds. He could see that his father and sister were pretty much back in Edge by now, but there were no signs of that alien. The next attack was coming. It wasn't a matter of if, it was when. There was also the matter of another episode with these Templars...

From the looks of things, Jr dude made Starlette a Company member. She had on a chain, and she probably had an Android phone too. That was cool. Her and Granny didn't have to worry about the Templars anymore. If they tried any shit, somebody from the Company would be there in a flash.

Jr said he promoted him to Hitman. Yata hadn't really thought about climbing too high on the Company ladder, and was perfectly fine with keeping that position. "Hitman is just fine with me," he said with his evil grin.

Demi said she needed a new head of security. Again, Yata didn't think too much on being a leader, manager or any type of authority figure. He was flattered that she would offer such a position to him, but he wasn't interested. "Uh... No thanks, miss Demi," was his response. "Thanks for the offer but I never aimed on bein some kinda boss guy. Sittin outside the door bouncin is fine with me. Besides, I don't think your regulars would be too happy in takin orders from a kid."

Nah, Yata was just fine with being hired muscle; a foot soldier, a goon, whatever you want to call it. These people saved his ass pretty much, and he would repay their kindness by doing whatever dirty job they had for him, even if it was killing people, or throwing drunks out of a club...

Starlette stood up, and shook Junior's hand. She nodded to his words about calling if she needed anything – that cellphone was going to come in handy, of that she had little doubt. [color:990f=FF00FF]“Well, my Gran gave me a book earlier today that I was reading – it talks about runes that basically make traveling from place to place an instant thing – I planned on practicing a bit with that before I ended up actually relying on it though; Gran lost a nose once doing that. But yeah, I planned on talking to her about a broom. She had an old broom she used to fly around on – she was going to teach me before... well, Velo was destroyed.”

She would then wave, and walk through this door that Junior opened, leaving the office and returning safely to Afterlight...

Demi listened to Starlette before she departed: Demi would have been willing to offer up her motorcylce that she never used, but it sounded like the girl had some transportation in the works herself. After Starlette left she focused her attention back onto Yata and nodded. ”Alright, I can respect that. Just know that if you ever change your mind the job is yours.” She could definitely understand Yata's point of view, but she would keep the position open for him in case he ever did decide to change his mind.

Demi stood up and stretched with a yawn. ”I think I'mma go get some sleep before I gotta get back down to my club... “ She would wait to see if anyone else had anything else to say to her, and if not she would turn and walk out of the office...
