Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained [Open][NR]

Anthony hugged her and it took a very short moment for her to respond and return the gesture: it had been over seven years since she had been hugged. Hell, it had been over seven years since she had been around any member of her family and not waken up to find out it was some dream that was stirred up thanks to her nasty subconscious.

At Anthony's words she knew she was being silly: it wasn't her fault the alien had been hidden nearby and eavesdropping, and it certainly wasn't her fault that the alien had not only kicked her ass twice but now given her brother a nasty ass whooping on top of that. At her brother's comment about a chiropractor she couldn't help but grin a little, feeling the feeling of sadness and worry dwindling away as a calmness over took her mind and took its place.

She thought over the alien's words, how he made it clear that his real target was The Vigilante, but how Anthony was welcome for a slice of revenge if he wanted it, and that if Ka'lara got in the alien's way he would kick her ass too. It all made her want to do more training, and helped her focus to return. She looked towards her brother and tilted her head a bit to the right in curiosity. "Are you planning on going back after that alien for revenge?", she asked quietly, not sure if the alien was lingering nearby or not.

The Devil Hunter paused. He had to think about it for a moment; he was naturally strong himself, but this kid's speed was something else. That thing he did that turned his aura red -- his body had grown bigger, and he'd gotten faster. Perhaps if Anthony had been able to utilize Devil Trigger, things might have turned out differently. Releasing his sister from the hug, he took a few steps away.

"Going after him... I dont know, honestly. I don't know if I can handle this guy. At least, not without a few aids." He paused for a moment, then pulled a cellphone from a inner pocket of his duster. "I got a friend of mine holding a few items for me.. I'll see about them getting shipped to my shop in Edge." His thumb hit the button on the phone, scrolling through the contact list. Pressing the screen again, he lifted the cell to his ear.

"Trish? Yea, I need a favor. Nah, everything's cool. i just need a few Arms shipped to me. Beowulf, Gilgamesh, Spiral and Artemis -- what do you mean Spiral isnt there? where the fuck is i-- why does she have Spiral? ....Wha-- oh. Fine. just tell her to clean it before she brings it back. And I mean clean clean. There was a nasty hex on the trigger. Mmhmm. Yea. I need them ASAP." Glancing at Ka'lara for a moment, he grinned, an idea forming in his head. "You said you've been training with Spook, yea? I might have something that'll help you out. At the least, make you a little faster and stronger." Turning his attention back to the phone call, he grinned wider. "Oh yea, I'm going to need some Ammo. check with Art to see if she'd gotten anything new, if not, send me the usual re-up. Thanks!"

Turning his attention back to his sister, he frowned some; he still was not sure even with those extra arms he'd be able to take on this alien. He could always lock the kid in Pandora, but fuck, where was the fun in that? Besides, PF 666 was dangerous; He'd barely gotten the box to close the last time he'd opened it.
