Description: Astalan has a simple pair of longswords, they are made of tempered steel and from tip to pommel are four feet long. The hilt of the weapon is a simple cross hilt with a cross on the pommel and on one blade the words "Gladius Veritatis" are inscribed, and on the second "Gladius Dei". They are both double edged blades and both come with simple leather scabbards with shoulder straps. The blades are extremely sharp and when wielded by an experienced swordsman are extremely deadly. Even in the hands of an amature these are dangerous weapons, though for entirely different reasons.

History: Astalan's Longswords were weapons that he began using during the middle ages when he fought to protect his first lover. They were forged by a local smith in Aquitaine, and the enscriptions were hand carved by the smith as well. They are the latin words for "Sword of Truth" and "Sword of God". Ever since he had them made, Astalan has taken wonderful care of the weapons and they are still as good as new to this day, and as sharp as the day they were forged. They have served Astalan well over the four hundred years he has used them in battle.
