| Ammo? Check.
That weird hilt-thing he'd found that emitted a blade made of plasma? Check.
Bottles of water? Enough that would last him until he made it out of the city? Check.
He'd combed through the armory and R&D labs plenty of times, but he felt like he was missing something. He knew there was other shit here-- things he'd tested himself. Things like that cloak that renedered the wearer invisible, or that exo suit that was literally a walking arsenal. Growling softly to himself, he crossed the room to a nearby console. A few key strokes later, and an inventory list was displayed before him. Everything displayed on the list was accounted for, save for the cloak and the exo suit.
They weren't too important; he wasnt sure he'd have time to go look for them-- he didnt know how much that woman Michonne slept. Either way, he'd made sure to loop the camera feed to all hallways leading to the Amory and R&D dept. Better safe than sorry.
But still. GReen eyes stared at the inventory list, trying to figure out what he might need for his journey. He'd planned on bailing out the countryside, trying to find the nearby Military base. Apparently, there was supposed to be some sort of fallback point there -- probably for the head honchos until they were able to get out. He'd been meaning to go for several days since he'd found out -- but there was also the problem of Michonne. While he trusted her somewhat, given that she'd allowed him to stay there for several days without complaining. He didn't know how to tell her that he was leaving, especially after the hospitality that she'd shown him. He had yet to tell her that he was a project like her -- it was something that he didnt particularly want her to know.
As the elf contemplated, his body moved around the armory, fetching thing to add to his backpack, Several balls designated 'Stickies', a rifle-like weapon called 'Focus', and a larget ball called "Power Drain". Beyond these, he did come across a rather large handgun. He'd seen it a few times in the files-- a weapon John favored. He could hear it now... Jogn bragging to him that he could possibly 'Stomp a dragon to death' with it.
"Well, John. Your Dragonstomper is now mine, buddy. I'll put to good use."

| Michonne had spent the better part of the past few days using the computers she had brought into her room to search through the information of the underground lab for any hint of information she could find on her sister. She hadn't heard anything about her or her mother since they had been brought in to the lab back before she had been infected with the enhanced zombie strain of the virus. The scientists had told her that it was either her or her family and of course she took that bullet as evident of what she now was.
She had stayed up a good portion of the night trying to figure out where they had gone after that but there was only so much she could do from a laptop compared to actually using the facilities computers. So, she had thrown her laptop aside on her bed and then left her room. She threw a glance towards Drake's bedroom and then headed down the hallway. It didn't take her long to reach the room she was looking for and as she walked in she paused: Drake was there. Well, that had been an unexpected surprise.
An eyebrow rose as she walked over to the counsel, ignoring what he had been looking up: him stealing things from the labratory was the least of her worries. "Leaving so soon?", she commented off handedly as she started pressing a series of buttons. Within a few seconds she brought up a video of a room filled all sorts of medical equipment with Michonne strapped to a steel table in the center. Another button push and the video would begin to play: Michonne lifting her head up as a door was opened, a little girl who could easily be recognizable as her sister with an older woman who looked like her mother coming in under heavy gaurd. Voices began to play then from the speakers located around the room.
"Mom? Rose? No.. let them go! LET THEM GO!", Michonne could be seen shouting.
"Sister!", the younger girl called out while attempting to run towards Michonne; only to be stopped by the guard and restrained.
"It's you or them, Michonne. Either you take the injection or we give it to them. Decide, NOW!", one of the scientist in the room spoke while walking over towards her, carrying a large syringe filled with black liquid.
"Me. Give it to me. Let them go! LET THEM GO FIRST!", Michonne responded on the video instantly. The scientist jerked his head then towards the guards and Michonne's younger sister and mother disappeared... and then Michonne was injected.
The video feed then went dark but that wasn't what Michonne cared about: what happened to her afterward didn't matter. Instead, she used the video feed to follow both her sister and mother as they were led back to their holding cell instead of being released. She fast forwarded it, watching their lives in that little tiny room: being fed, watered, and otherwise ignored. Every so often a scientist would come in but there was no sound so it was pointless to watch. Then finally lights went off on the video, showing the time where Michonne had escaped along with others. Michonne's mother was dragged out as was her sister... and lead out of the building. They could still be alive.
She didn't know if Drake was still there or not as she hung her head, she didn't know if he had watched it all play out before him on the screen or not, but still she spoke, "Take what you want... lock the door on your way out. I'm going to find my sister even if it kills me." Her hands shook, the idea of her sister out in that zombie infested world with those horrible men scared her: terrified her more than the knowledge of the possibility of her dying did.

| As the door slide open, there was a whirl cloth and click of the Dragonstomper being cocked as Drake drew it, training it on the opening door. There was even the soft hum of the Darksaber being ignited and held perpandicular above his head, the tip pointed at Michonne as she entered.
"Leaving so soon?"
"Yea. I figured now was best to go. Didn't want to get too comfortable he-" He fell silent, lowering the gun and sword as he watched what was on the screen. A woman, and young child being held captive..., what the fuck was this shit? Just what were these bastards up to? Drake had already come to terms that he and John were not the only expirements that were housed here -- Michonne's existance proved that enough. And even then, he had figured the scientists were merely doing their jobs-- most of them were fiendly towards him and John, often joking with them when the boys were not being tested. But this... this showed something else.
"It's you or them, Michonne. Either you take the injection or we give it to them. Decide, NOW!" He reconized one of the voices on the screen, Dr. Burter. Dr. Burter was one of the senior advisors for Project Darkmind, and the last person that Drake expected to be capable of something like this.
When the video ended, Drake looked around, fishing out an empty backpack. "Take what you want... lock the door on your way out. I'm going to find my sister even if it kills me."
The male released a sigh before throwing the empty backpack to Michonne. "Yo! Pack your stuff and a change of clothes. we're going hunting." He frowned, not ready to question himself at the change of heart. A moment ago, he'd been ready to bail on this woman, and leave her to fend for herself without a word; now, he was ready to go track down a group of people that seemed to be holding her mother and sister hostage.
Whatever helps you sleep at night. You do owe her for saving your ass. Maybe, this is payback?
Either way.. he knew how it was out there, and being alone only made it much worse. Maybe, if they stuck together, they'd be able to survive, and possibly get outta this hell.
And if you did, where would you go? What would you do? Where in the world is there a place for a weapon like you?
But that was the beauty of the world.
The male grinned as he pressed a few buttons on the console, bringing up the inventory list once more. There was someplace or something for everyone. All it took was a bit of looking...
The smile grew wider, as the male took note of two items, one marked AIC and the other VTS. If he wasnt mistaken, AIC was in the same room they were in ; VTS was nearby, a few doors down.
"Also.. gonna explain a few things to you while we're going.", he spoke quietly, crossing the room to the display case marked AIC and openinng it.

| Michonne stared at the screen for a few seconds longer before she turned and began to walk towards the door; only to stop when Drake tossed the empty bag to her. Her hand shot out, grasping onto the bag. She glanced back at him, staring for several seconds as she wondered why he would suddenly want to help her. However, not wanting to question it or look a gifted horse in the mouth, she gave a nod and walked the rest of the way towards the door. "Alright, I'll be back in forty-five seconds." She wasn't going to pass up his help: she would accept all of the help she could get if it let her find her sister and mother safely.
She took off to the room she had been staying in, emergency supplies already piled off to the side: she had never known when this place was going to come under attack from one thing or another, and so she had made it her goal to be as prepared as possible in the chance she had to escape. Fifteen of the forty-five seconds had already passed and she made quick work of sweeping her supplies into her bag: lots of water, some food that wouldn't spoil, extra clothing, and even some medical supplies.
Twenty five seconds had passed and she was strapping on her weapons and throwing the bag over her shoulder. Thirty seconds and she was back out into the hallway and moving down it. By the time forty seconds came around she had returned to where Drake was and came to a stop. By now she had figured that he knew more about this place than he had let on, but she wasn't going to out-right ask, at least not until they were outside of the building and on their way to getting out of this hell hole and finding her family.
"So, what were you going to explain?", she asked curiously, arms folding across her chest as she waited to follow him. She expected some questions to eventually arise: especially along the lines of what had been in that syringe that had then been injected into her - a question whose response she wasn't quite looking forward to.

| "So, what were you going to explain?"
By the time Michonne had come back, Drake had slipped the AIC gloves over his hands. The material felt comfortable, unlike most military equipment-- perhaps this pair belonged to someone? Drake wasnt going to complain -- given the small spec readout he'd glanced over in the iventory list, these gloves would be useful as hell if they became outnumbered.
Turning green eyes to her, he frowned slightly. Perhaps this could wait until they'd left the labs-- while Drake knew were everything was in this room, he wasnt sure how much Michonne was familiar with these rooms. He didnt want to risk a fight -- if it came down to it-- in here where she might get the upperhand.
What happened to the trust you had for her just moments before?
That was before the video was shown to him. Before he knew she'd been injected with something. For all he knew, it could have been kool-aid. And even still... she didnt seem normal. There was something slightl.. off about her. He had to find out.
"What.. what did they inject you with..?" Plain and simple. He wasnt afraid-- the worst that could happen would be that he would die here. Nothing big; but his grip didnt lessen on the Dragonstomper, nor did he put it away just yet.

| Michonne sighed and turned, walking several feet away at his question. She pinched the bridge of her nose and frowned deeply before just shaking her head. It had to come out eventually, she wasn't going to be able to keep it a secret for forever after all. "I'm pretty sure by the way you're standing you've already guess exactly what they injected me with...", she said vaguely before turning around slowly to face Drake.
She folded her arms across her chest, keeping her stance as relaxed and calm as possible so she didn't come across as any more threatening than she already was. "Back before the virus out break happened the scientists were trying to come up with an enhanced strain. Infected that they could control and that could control the other infected..."
Michonne squared her shoulders with a deep sigh: would this cause a fight to break out? Or worse, cause him to no longer be willing to help her find her sister? "I was their first success. The enhanced virus fused with my blood, changing me instead of killing me like so many others before me. They ran tests on me after that, tried to figure out how it worked... trying to control me. So long as they had my sister and mother they could... but then shit went to hell and I was able to break out. When I came back I realized my family was gone. I started looking for them and that's when I realized that the other infected don't bother me. I don't eat people like they do, hell I barely like meat to begin with... but I'm enough like them that they look right over me. It's why I'm able to freely come and go from here like I am... it's how I was able to help you without putting myself into danger."
"So... what now? Going to shoot me? Disappear and leave me to find my sister myself?"

| "So... what now? Going to shoot me? Disappear and leave me to find my sister myself?"
"Nah. Just wanted to see if you'd tell me the truth." The hammer was released, and the Dragonstomper was placed onto a nearby table. The male turned away, ducking into a storage room and reemerging with a holster for the gun. Slipping the item on and putting the gun away, the elf offered Michonne a small nod. "Besides, tis not like I've been exactly gushing information for you."
Picking up the backpack, and after taking one last glance at the inventory list, Drake made his way to Michonne and out the door. "So tell me, Michonne... They created you to control the rest of the zombies? You can pretty much direct them to do what you want, yes?" The possiblities seemed endless to him; if she could control the zombies, then they pretty much were untouchable -- at least Michonne was, naturally. Unless she could direct each and everyone of them, he was still a walking dinner party.
He didnt even wait for her to answer; he was out the door and walking along the hallway. He knew where he was going -- the R&D lab. Once he arrived at the door, he pushed it open and stepped inside. What he was looking for would be rather easy to find-- the consoles within the area lit up when the door opened, each one displaying what item the last person to use the terminal had been designing. Stepping up to the closest once, Drake began to type -- praying his memory wouldnt fail him as he went. He was looking for something specific, something that would aid them both in the world when they left the lab. While Zombies were the main threat, they operated by sound and smell, and were fairlly dumb. But what would happen if they came across someting that operated by more senses than that, and were far more intelligent? They would need something to give them an edge.
As green eyes looked onto the terminal, fingers flew across the keyboard, searching for something. Lockscreen after lockscreen rose up, only to to be undone with a few key stroke. The computer's firewalls still worked, which meant they still access to lockdown the vaults that held the really good shit -- things like what he was attempting to unlock for them right now. He had no clue if Michonne had followed him or not while he was doing this, but either way... she'd get rewarded as well. With a beeping sound, the far wall opened up, and what would appear to be a garmet rack would emerge.
Grinning wider, Drake would step away from the console over to the rack, taking down a sealed back and opening it. "Sweet. Still some left..."

| "Nah. Just wanted to see if you'd tell me the truth."
Well, that certainly was a change of pace. The last person she had tried to help had bailed out the moment his friend had informed him she was infected; it caused her to pause a second and wonder if the pair were even still alive. The guy had been holding his own rather well and his buddy seemed to have had some fancy tricks up his sleeve, they both had in fact, but there was an endless supply of zombies out there that didn't need to sleep and only thought about consuming the next bit of flesh they could get their decaying, rotting hands on.
"So tell me, Michonne... They created you to control the rest of the zombies? You can pretty much direct them to do what you want, yes?"
She followed him out of the door with a nod. "Basically, yes. They wanted someone who could move amongst the zombies un-detected. Someone who could control them that they could control in return. It's why I believe they kidnapped my sister and mother: they realized I wasn't afraid to die and I was no stranger to pain so they had to find something else to use against me." She didn't mention how they knew she would die for her sister: though she wouldn't mind explaining if he asked.
She glanced around the R&D lab, wondering what exactly he could be looking for in here while continuing on with her information giving. "I can control massive amounts of zombies; both close and far away. Though, the further away they are the smaller an amount I can control. Up front though? Let's just say that so long as you're next to me they won't mess with you no matter how many there are. Plus, they can naturally smell my virus and it masks a lot of things, so you'd smell like me so long as you were close even if I wasn't controlling them to keep back and stay away."
She watched as the far wall opened and something that looked like a garment rack came out. She followed Drake curiously, eyebrows raised in curiosity. "What exactly is that?" Michonne had never had access to any of the cool toys, she was a dangerous enough of a weapon with what her mutated strand of the virus allowed her to do so the scientists had known that giving her more weapons would likely end badly - it was why a lot of this stuff she had never seen before even though she had spent a lot of time in the lab since it was abandoned.

| "What exactly is that?"For a second, Drake didnt reply. Instead, he removed a cloak from the bag and took a step away, shaking the fabric out. With a smirk on his face, the young man put the cloak onto his body, taking care to adjust the fabric so that it barely skimmed the across the ground, pulled the deep hood up. "You know how they say 'Seeing is believing'?" The smirk turned into an outright grin as the male fastened the clasp to hold the cloak closed and pressed a button on the item. For a brief moment, nothing seemed to happen. The world felt no different to Drake, except that he was wearing the cloak. But when he tried to look down at himself, he could see that he was fadding from view. He almost giggled, watching with extreme satisfaction until his body faded completely. "What you don't see, you better believe in."- Stalker Cloak:
Name: Stalker Cloak Type: Armor Rank: URM | MP Description: A simple plain black cloak. Abilities: Name: Imperceptibility Power Rank: PC [Technology] Description: The user is totally imperceptible, and as such can in no way be detected or communicated with by external forces. They cannot be physically or mentally touched or perceived, by smell, touch, vision, hearing, etc and give off no heat, auras or even energy detection or leave any evidence of their presence, yet the space they occupy has no lack of it. To all senses, the user does not exist. The user is undetectable by x-ray scans, sonars, radio detections or any other technological detection. They cannot be perceived by mental, telepathic or spiritual powers. Some users may not even be able to be remembered, or perceived as existing at all. However, the user may still be able to interact with others through use of any other abilities they possesses, and so may also still be able to attack a target. However, these effects only last so long as the user is wearing the cloak. When the user removes the cloak, the effects are disabled. History: An item found in the underground lab.
[/quote] A cheap remark, but shit. There was no denying it. The male was completely invisible, without even a ripple of light to mark his existance. Pressing the button on the clasp once more, the cloak's effects would end abruptly, allowing the male to pop back into view. Still grinning, he reache onto the rack and pulled off another bag containing another cloak. "The way I see it... if I survived, there has to be someone else out there besides us. And if there are survivors, no doubt some have banded together, for good or bad. And if they wanna get out of this hell as much as I do.... they might be willing to chance getting out." The male offered the second cloak to Michonne, nodding for her to take it as he continued. "See now, the good people will be grateful, especially if we save thier asses. But the bad? They'll never know we're here. But us? All we gotta do is find some people that are trying. We help them out, they help us, and we all live."

| Michonne watched as Drake put the cloak on and then seemed to disappear right before her eyes: only she knew he wasn't really gone, simply invisible. A grin spread across her face when Drake faded back into view and then handed her a cloak while speaking. She listened to his words and nodded in agreement: these cloaks would definitely come in handy. She removed her from her bag and slipped it on.
"A few hours before I spotted you I ran into this guy who seemed to be looking for supplies. He didn't seem like a bad guy, but he was alone at first: he looked familiar too, like the guy I used to see every so often on TV who ran that city over there in Edge along with that dude who wore the sunglasses all of the time. I was about to make my presence known when his buddy showed up - some weird guy with this suit on, looked like a superhero or something. He helped his friend whoop some more zombie ass... and then his buddy in the suit tried to convince him to leave - said he could get him out of there. But, he wouldn't budge."
"I guess he wants to try and help out here. Anyway, his buddy had some technology on him; something that allowed him to know right off the bat that I was infected. They both bailed before I could explain myself. Maybe we can see if they're around? They seemed to know what they were doing. Probably take some convincing that I have no intentions of infecting them, but if we can ally ourselves with them it might be easier to find my family and get the hell out of here."
It seemed like a good plan; and was the reason why Michonne grabbed two electronic tablets and extra batteries and chargers off the nearby consul. "I can use these to continue to go through the the video feeds, maybe see if I can spot anymore survivors around... "

"Wait a sec. Is this camera system spread throughout the city, or just the nearby buildings?" If this system was spread through out the city, then they'd be golden; they could easily track that duo and find where they went. And even better, they'd be able to find other survivors, possibly more supplies. "If so, can you rewind the footage? Perhaps.. we can pick up a trail, and have an idea of where to start looking." He lifted the tablet, and began to press the screen a few times. The thing began to power on, and Drake loooked up at Michonne, grinning as a thought occured to him.
"Know anywhere we can get some transportation? Its going to be really hard to catch them if we gotta hoof it everywhere.."

| Michonne's fingers flew over the tablet she was holding while Drake took the other. She began working through all of the 'opened' video feeds. "Not all of them are open; though the scientists seem to have hacked the majority of them: probably so they could stop any trouble before it arrived. If we can get past the security of the rest, and they're still working and have power, we should be able to."
Michonne focused her efforts on the building she had seen the man and his masked friend in. There were passwords protecting the video feeds but they were weak at best so it took her only roughly thirty seconds or so before she was able to hack into their video feed system. "I'm in, here's to hoping they were still recording..." She began to search through the floors; using the numbers on the stairwell doors to tell her what floor she was looking at until she got to the video feeds that she needed.
Once focused on the appropriate floor she got to work on rewinding it; going back the past few days as she searched for them. While she worked she looked up, ready to follow Drake while she worked in case he wanted to start moving again: she was very good at multi-tasking after all.
Eventually she came across the footage and grinned. "Found 'em." She pressed play and turned the screen so that Drake could see it while Vigilante's arrival through the window, several stories up in a cafeteria, played out while Alec was surrounded by zombies with more trying to get through the door he had barricaded: it even showed Michonne hidden up in the roof, looking through one of the removed drop tiles in the ceiling as she debated on if she should jump down or not.

| Drake peered at the screen curiously, watching on as the video played. It was easy to see: the armored persona exploding through the windows and scatteruing the few walkers that were in the room with the silver haired male. He was silent, watching the two exchange a silent coversation before Michonne dropped into view, beheading the closest zombie. The video lasted for a few seconds longer as suddenly the silver haired male turned and jumped through a nearby window, with the man in the black armor following soon afterward.
As he watched, something caugh his eye. Reaching out, he pressed fingers to the tablet rapidly, speeding through the menu that popped up. Soon, his efforts were rewarded; the video continued fron a different angle in a different place, showing the silver haired male landing on a roof; the male in the armor soon appearing at his side.
"Hey, Michonne... new vid. Guessing this is them not long after they met you." He slid the tablet back, and took a step away to stretch his legs. As he did, something caugh his eye -- a gold and red staff leaning in the corner. "oH, HELLO! Don't you look lovely..." Grabby hands reached out, snagging the staff and giving it a quick twirl. He could sense something was off about the staff, given the design of it. Dropping the backpack, the male removed the Power Drain from the bag and slid the stafff across thge top. Looking back at Michonne, the male grinned. "Maybe we can find some more vids... they could lead us to those guys?"
