Name: Robes of Decay
Type: Armor
Rank: MP/PC
Description: An unassuming, hooded light grey robe.
Abilities: As a moor, Hiromasa needs to feed only rarely, but does quite often regardless as he finds the game of deception and capture to be one of his favorite things, even after his death. Finding himself with a surplus of the essence of others, he has begun turning the stuff of life itself into a power source, fueling enchantments he places onto his possessions.
Into the robes he's possessed since he was alive he has imbued his lust for feeding, and anyone else coming into contact with them begins to seemingly rot away as the robes begin eating them alive, flesh turning to dust and vanishing as the cloak feasts on the victim's essence. Even after contact is broken, this affliction continues to spread, ending only with the complete consumption of the victim or the severing of the affected limb. Flesh devoured can be healed or regenerated, but the essence fueling the areas is gone, leaving simply dead flesh.
This effect ends once the thread is completed as the soul regenerates itself.
Name: Charlatan's Chain
Type: Armor
Rank: PC
Description: A small, unadorned silver necklace that is difficult to focus the eye on.
Abilities: With numerous illusory safeguards in place, Hiromasa himself is struck only rarely. When this does happen, however, this chain kicks in, performing two abilities simultaneously.
The first, is the complete erasure of Hiromasa to all senses. Were it not for the second ability, it would seem that he vanished from existence. This stealth lasts until he uses another ability or the thread ends.
The second spell this chain casts is to form an exact illusory copy of Hiromasa as he was when he was hit, making it seem as if he is still there just after being struck, like a reverse shadow clone. The illusion is imbued with just enough magic to provide reactions identical to the real Hiromasa for one post before it becomes other than flawless, fading completely by the end of the second post.
