General Description: Joe is a stocky muscular individual, slightly over weight from slacking off of his regular training regimen. He wears a du-rag over a bald head. He dresses in a black wife beater, faded purple army fatigue pants, and dark purple sneakers. He is nearly covered in a vast amount of tattoos, and wears guards upon each wrist.


History: Born to a poor family that hailed from the Ghetto District, Joe Crippleton, or "Crippler" as he would come to be known as, grew up hard on the mean streets of Edge. His father walked out on the family when he was 2, leaving his crack addicted mother to raise 5 kids alone. Hard times was just something that Joe had to get used to.

At first, Joe tried to remain on the straight and narrow despite his rough upbringing, his surroundings, and the temptations of his peers. He stayed in school, and took up wrestling, running track, and boxing. Joe had the makings of something special and numerous tracking agencies wanting him to sign lucrative contracts, but he unfortunately began to develop a fascination with the fast life after a childhood friend finally convinced him, after much difficulty, to help him hold up a convenience store. Joe began to neglect his training and focus more on the world of fast cash, cars, and women.

It wasn't long before Joe altogether quit his athlete life to become a full time thug, joining a gang, and eventually rise to become the new leader of this gang by defeating the previous leader in an organized hand to hand fight. Joe did several stints in jail, creating contacts on the inside as well as out. It didn't matter if he were on the streets or not: Joe was recognized where ever he went as one of the top figures in the underworld. His gang expanded into drug dealing, extortion and several prostitution rings throughout the Red Light District.

The day came when he and some of his guys came across a strange man that looked to be the fusion of a human and a machine, in the back of a massage parlor. Joe and his guys attempt to beat the man into submission, but they are all beaten back easily. It became obvious that this man was more than human and capable of many incredible feats that a normal person couldn't do, and that he could have killed him and his guys, yet he didn't. Recognizing that this guy, who called himself "Xan" was stronger than them, Joe and his guys began to call him "Boss." Joe remained the primary leader, but the final word came from Xan. Joe and the guys help Xan purchase the massage parlor, and with the renovation to turn it into their base of operations...
