"What is there to do in this city?", she muttered to herself as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop. It had been only a week since she had left her people behind to venture out into the Human world: and temptation was always knocking on her door. It was so tempting to just pickpocket someone of their cash, or slip some shiny necklace off of the elderly woman walking down the street in the fur coat.
She paused in her jumping, crouched at the edge of the building as she watched the elderly woman walk into a decent looking building, either home, or visiting someone. It didn't matter either way to herself. She shook her head, hoping that it would wipe away her mental processes. She couldn't sink into temptation, she couldn't go back to her old life: it would make her a disgrace from her people, from those who cared about her.
"Baw, what I need is a friend, or a distraction. Something to do..."
A soft sigh escaped her as she lifted up her hand and rubbed at her face, hoping that the action would help to further push away her darker impulses. She didn't want to be a thief, she didn't want to live that life... but if something didn't give soon, some way to keep herself on the straight and narrow didn't arrive, she was likely going to slip back into that dark lifestyle; and quite easily and quickly, too.
It always was easier for her to be bad than to be good, even if good was what she wanted to be.
