Name: Crossbow Type: Weapon Rank: RM Description: A crossbow is a bow mounted on a stick (called a tiller or stock) with a mechanism in it which holds the drawn bow string. The earliest designs featured a slot in the stock, down into which the string was placed. To shoot this design, a vertical rod is thrust up through a hole in the bottom of the notch, forcing the string out. This rod is usually attached perpendicular to a rear-facing lever called a trigger or "tickler". A later design implemented a rolling cylindrical pawl called a "nut" to retain the string. This nut has a perpendicular center slot for the bolt, and an intersecting axial slot for the string, along with a lower face or slot against which the internal trigger sits. They often also have some form of strengthening internal "sear" or trigger face, usually of metal. These "roller nuts" were either free-floating in their close-fitting hole across the stock, tied in with a binding of sinew or other strong cording, or mounted on a metal axle or pins. Removable or integral plates of wood, ivory or metal on the sides of the stock kept the nut in place laterally. Nuts were made of antler, bone, or metal. Bows could be kept and ready to shoot for some time with little effort, allowing crossbowmen to aim better. The bow (called the "prod" or "lath" on a crossbow) of early crossbows was made of a single piece of wood, usually ash or yew. Composite bows are made from layers of different material—often wood, horn and sinew—glued together and bound with animal tendon. These composite bows, made of several layers, are much stronger and more efficient in releasing energy than simple wooden bows. As steel became more widely available in Europe around the 14th century, steel prods came into use. The crossbow prod is very short compared to ordinary bows, resulting in a short draw length. This leads to a higher draw weight in order to store the same amount of energy. Furthermore the thick prods are a bit less efficient at releasing energy, but more energy can be stored by a crossbow. Traditionally the prod was often lashed to the stock with rope, whipcord, or other strong cording. This cording is called the bridle. The strings for a crossbow are typically made of strong fibers that would not tend to fray. Whipcord was very common; however linen, hemp, and sinew were used as well. Abilities: / History: A crossbow is a type of bow consisting of a horizontal limb assembly mounted on a stock that shoots projectiles, called bolts or quarrels. The medieval crossbow was called by many names, most of which derived from the word ballista, a torsion engine resembling a crossbow in appearance. Historically, crossbows played a significant role in the warfare of East Asia, Europe and the Mediterranean. The invention of the crossbow caused a major shift in the role of ranged weaponry among armies, as the traditional bow and arrow had long been a specialized weapons system which required a considerable degree of lifetime training, physical strength and expertise to operate with any degree of efficiency; in many cultures, despite being usually drawn from the common class, bowmen were considered a separate and superior caste, as their archery skill-set (similar to many horseman cultures) was essentially developed from birth and impossible to reproduce outside a pre-established cultural tradition, which many nations lacked. In contrast, the crossbow was the first projectile weapon to be simple, cheap and physically-undemanding enough to be operated by large numbers of conscript soldiers, thus enabling virtually any nation with sufficient coin to field a potent force of ranged crossbowmen with little expense beyond the cost of the weapons themselves. This led to the ascendancy of large mercenary armies of crossbowmen (best exemplified by the Genoese crossbowmen), and the eventual death of the heavily armored aristocratic knight as armies became progressively dominated by conscripts equipped with increasingly-powerful ranged projectile weapons. In modern times, although largely supplanted by firearms in most roles, crossbows are still widely used for shooting sports, hunting, and when shooting in relative silence is an important consideration.
- Reaper's Gunscythe:
Name: Reaper's Gunscythe Type: Weapon Rank: RM - PC (Depends on the ammo) Description: The scythe's handle is seven feet long, with the added length from the blade on top bringing it to an even eight feet. One end of the scythe had a metal tip on it, while the other consists of the actual curved blade itself. The curved blade is about four and a half feet long, and an inch thick at its thickest point which is located near the shaft of the weapon, becoming increasingly thinner the further away from the shaft the blade becomes. The shaft itself is red, while the metal of the actual blade is white. The shaft of the scythe is made of segments that can collapse, held erect by pins and springs so that it takes only a matter of seconds to take it from its folded position to fully erect. When fully erect the pins and springs are protected by armor coverings, keeping them from being exposed to attacks that might otherwise cause the weapon to fold in on itself. When folded together the blade rests neatly and safely within the foldings, providing the user safety in transporting it. It also is equipped with a clip so that it can be hooked on the users waist for easy carrying. The entire weapon is made of a mixture of steel and other weapons. When the thing is folded up it can still be used as a gun. Abilities: The scythe itself can become element friendly, meaning the user can add something like electricity to the thing to make the cuts more painful, or fire to cause an added burning effect. The scythe is only user-friendly. Meaning, anyone touching the scythe without permission will be incinerated upon contact - especially if they're aiming to steal it. The scythe is capable of handling several types of bullets - anything from those designed to blow basket ball sized holes into people to bullets designed to incinerate someone to ash upon nearby contact (bullets are included). Another of the fine little abilities of the gunscythe is that, depending on if its activated or not, when someone is cut cleaning in half or a limb is severed that limb and the blood turns into rose petals and gives off a distinct rose-like smell. If an entire body is severed it turns both halves into nothing at all but the rose petals (makes clean up rather easy). - Ammo:
Name: God's Hand Description: Silver ammo that has been blessed. Works very effeciantly on werewolves or demonic creatures. Alone the ammo has the ability to blow basket ball sized holes in creatures; with the added blessing the damage is twice that. ----- Name: Virus Rounds Description: These bullets have a hollowed out center that contains the virus and diseases Amaranth can spread through her mist-like smoke; only in a far more potent and concentrated version. Even if these rounds don't hit the opponent as soon as they strike something in the vacinity the disease spreads a hundred feet per post. ----- Name: Explosive Rounds Description: What girl doesn't like a good explosion? These are specially made to explode on contact with the destructive force of a crate of dynamite; meaning anything nearby when this thing hits is turned to chunks. ----- Name: Normal Rounds Description: The gunscythe's natural ammo. It in itself has the ability to blow basket ball sized holes in people and things alike.
- Anti Gravity Boots:
Name: Anti-Gravity Boots Type: Armor, Supplementary Item Rank: RM (Technology) Description: A black pair of ordinary looking, flat bottomed, polished, steel toed, combat boots that lace up the front with straps that cover the laces. The boots are a small size, fitting for a young woman's size feet. Woven into these boots however, at the very center of all of the fabric, is the technology and information that make these boots "anti-gravity". The boots are made out of a 'smart' material that is capable of repairing itself. The creator of these boots, Devon, is capable of upgrading them even without the boots in her possession through multiple chips located within the boots that contain all of the information. Abilities: The boots work by syncing with the wearers nervous system; thus reading the users movements as they're passed from the brain and to the appropriate muscles: in this case the feet and legs. The boots help enhance the user in several ways: - Enhanced Jump: The user can jump extremely high, able to go from the ground to roughly fifty stories into the air via repulsion from the ground itself - useful for when making an escape or needing to get out of the way. For those with a version of enhanced conditioning this jump height is nearly doubled. When matched with something like a cape or glider it's an effective means to get long distances without having to touch the ground via gliding. - Enhanced Stomp: Using a reverse system this increases the 'heaviness' of the boot, causing more damage (talking skull crushing, skull shattering) damage to anyone who happens to be underfoot. - Knock-Back Kick: Using must less repulsion than Enhanced Jump this allows the user when they kick someone to knock them back up to fifteen feet with a normal strength kick - for those with a form of enhanced conditioning this is increased to thirty feet. History: Started by Devon before the zombie outbreak, these boots were quickly finished to help out whoever might have to head into Pacific City.
- Infrared Sunglasses:
Name: Infrared Sunglasses Type: Armor, Supplementary Item Rank: RM (Technology) Description: These sunglasses look like an ordinary pair of wrap around stylish sunglasses. Woven into the frames and lenses themselves is advanced technology and upgradeable chips which can be upgraded by the creator to increase the technology of the sunglasses and advance them when needed even if the wearer is thousands of miles away. Abilities: Infrared technology allows these sunglasses to distinguish between temperatures, even when blocked or hidden by buildings or other obstacles. The more red the target the hotter their body temperature, while more blue the target the more cooler their body temperature; with white being freezing cold and black being too hot to touch. History: Created by Devon as a means for detecting targets even when hidden through advanced infrared technology.
- Cross Knife:
Name: Cross-Knife Type: Weapon Rank: RM Description: The cross lets slip when the proper button is pushed an eight inch long blade that is more like a stake than anything. The whole thing is made out of silver. Abilities: /
- Hooded Red Cape:
Name: Cape Type: Armor Rank: MP/PC Description: A red billowing cape with a matching hood. The cape is made out of a very durable, high technology, bullet proof material that is still thin, light weight, and flexible - as well as rip proof. It can be used to glide even without abilities thrown into play. Abilities: The cape grants the wearer the ability to fly/glide. Teleport by wrapping oneself up in the cape. Can stretch the cape and user it to constrict or suffocate others, or wrap it around themselves as a protective shield against physical or elemental attacks. Invisibility. Intangibility. The cape can be used to reflect projectiles and magical attacks.
- Phoenix Feather:
Name: Phoenix Feathers Power Rank: PC Description: An ability passed down to him from his mother, Jr has the ability to take any of his feathers and infuse it with many forms of energies and powers. Jr can make this process temporary or permanent. He can give these feathers to others so that they may use these powers, being able to even cause the feather to be absorbed by others. Many powers that give others superhuman or supernatural abilities can be put upon these feathers, but the most beneficial of these would be the phoenix power to resurrect. Should another person or being die prematurely, those with this feather will be reborn as a baby that will grow to the previous size they were when they died, in the time span of 3 hours. The resurrection feather can only be used once per person. Jr, being part Phoenix, cannot use this ability on himself.
- Fingerless Gloves:
Name: Fingerless Gloves Type: Armor Rank: C Description:A pair of black fingerless gloves with a 1/8th inch thick metal place coering most of the top of the hand. Useful for blocking attacks without causing damage to the wearer's hands. The metal plate tends to be engraved with the wearers village symbol. Enhancements: /

- Forehead Protector:
Item: Forehead ProtectorRank: EQuantity: 1Price: FreeDescription: The most important article of clothing for any and all shinobi is their forehead protector. This headband signifies where the loyalty of a shinobi lies. It also signifies equality among shinobi of the same village. In order to be considered an official ninja, one must graduate and earn one of these headbands. A missing-nin puts a scratch across their village symbol on these to signify their defection from that village. They can also serve a practical purpose, acting as protection for a ninja's forehead whilst in battle.Appearance:
