Description: The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular guard and long grip to accommodate two hands. It has become renowned for its sharpness and strength. The katana blade itself is twenty-eight and a half inches long.
Abilities: Due to the phoenix creating it the entire thing is completely heat resistant, unable to be melted by even the stronger of flames. The blade itself is capable, at the user's will, of catching on fire: the heat from the flames is hot enough to melt flesh from bone and even turn bone to nothing but liquid, making its cutting power that much more greater.
The blade itself is also sentient to its creator. If any person were to try and touch or wield the blade without prior authorization the entire katana, from hilt to blade tip would ignite in those flesh melting temperatures. If the user were to die the blade will likewise 'die', and would crumble and break away, becoming ash with the user.

This method of communication is secure as only the one holding the orb can hear what the other party is saying.
