Smash TV
This is a game show broadcasted live on television and the internet where contestants fight monsters, creatures, and other people for cash prizes. It consists of 10 rounds, with the difficulty of the monsters and the prize for defeating the monsters increasing with every round. Death Row inmates often try to compete for their freedom, so there are 2 different rule sets for prisoners and regular contestants.
Arena
Smash TV takes place in an area about the size of a football field. Impenetrable shields that are impervious to any form of attack surround it, to prevent escape. 4 Gun fixtures on all 4 sides of the arena will shoot lasers and flames at Contestants that can cause moderate to severe damage, and will kill them if they take too many hits. These guns can be destroyed, but will repair themselves after every round. Located at several points around the arena are weapon ports. Random weapons are ejected from these ports at fixed time intervals. As the contestant makes his/her way through the rounds, the arena begins to become smaller to up the difficulty. At round 10, the arena will be the size of an average living room, which makes movements very difficult.
Rules
1. The powers of contestants gifted with supernatural abilities will be rendered null and void in the arena, for fairness. Custom armors cannot be used; a Smash TV uniform will be provided that gives moderate protection, but does not protect the contestant from all attacks/hazards. Contestants will have to rely upon their own naturally learned abilities to survive the first rounds. As the contestant makes their way through the rounds, their powers will be gradually unlocked to face more dangerous foes. (Regular Contestants only)
Convicts get no useage of powers, and must make do with their natural wits and the weapons provided.
2. Contestants cannot use their own weapons to participate, they must use the weapons provided. The weapons can be taken into other rounds, should they still be in working condition. (Regular Contestants/Convicts)
3. Contestants can choose to take their prize and leave before the start or at the end of any round. Once the contestant leaves, their game will be over. Should they choose to compete again they must restart from Round 1. Contestants can participate on Smash TV once a week. (Regular Contestants only)
Convicts fight for their freedom, not for cash. They must compete until the end or until they are killed.
4. Once the round starts, it cannot and will not be stopped until the contestant or the monster in that round is dead. (Regular Contestants/Convicts)
5. Post each round 1 at a time, and wait for them to be judged. All posts must pertain to the battle at hand, and be descriptive, meaning you must follow the rules of the round and describe the scenario in each round. No using flashbacks or random filler to meet the word count. The posts will be read from start to finish, so don't think of trying it anyway.

Payout: 2,000c
Word Count Required: 3,000
Round 3

All skilled with medium level martial art and ninja techniques, they attempt to use illusions, smoke bombs and visual tricks to get close and execute a fatal slash with Katana Blades. These blades can be stolen, but break after 3 hits. The ninjas will work together to keep your attention occupied so that one or more can get behind you.
Weapons: Katana Blades stolen from the ninjas, or a Pistol produced from the weapon ports every 7 minutes. (Pistol: 9mm semi automatic, 3 shots each.)
Powers allowed: Low Level Abilities
Payout: 3,000c
Word Count Required: 4,000
Round 4

Opponent(s): Samurai, 7 in number. They will block all frontal attacks and counter with decapitating sword strikes. They will constantly keep their eyes on you to prevent you from getting behind them. Strategy is needed to take them all down.
Weapons: Tazer guns are produced from the ports every 8 minutes. Each Tazer having enough juice for 3 shots.
Powers allowed: Medium Level Abilities
Payout: 4,000c
Word Count Required: 5,000
Round 5
Difficulty: Medium
Opponent(s): Giant Spiders, 6 in number, all the size of an ordinary dog. They produce a web that is very sticky to the touch, and very difficult to escape from. They can emit the web from their abdomens as fine strings that are nearly invisible to the naked eye, to create clever traps on the floor or in empty space for victims to become trapped in, or shoot a big glob of it to incapacitate them. The Spiders can move as fast as a peak condition athlete, and can jump 10 feet airborne. The bite of the Giant Spiders can cause a person to be paralyzed shortly after being bitten, an almost instantaneous effect.
Weapons: A Grenade Launcher is produced from the port every 9 minutes. It is loaded with 2 explosive rounds. 1 round is enough to kill 2 spiders at once, should the spiders be in close proximity.
Powers allowed: Medium Level Abilities
Payout: 5,000c
Word Count Required: 6,000
Round 6
Difficulty: Hard
Opponent(s): Mother Spiders, 3x larger than the Giants, roughly the size of the common Cow, 5 in number. All of them able to do everything the Giants can, with double the efficiency.
Weapons: An Uzi 9mm machine pistol, fully loaded with a 17 round clip is produced from the weapon port every 10 minutes. It takes roughly the whole clip to kill 1 Mother Spider.
Powers allowed: Medium Level Abilities
Payout: 6,000c
Word Count Required: 7,000
Round 7
Difficulty: Hard
Opponent(s): Necromancers, 4 in number. Weak to physical and magical attacks, the Necromancers can create shields to block attacks. It takes 3 attacks to destroy a shield. Necromancers can bring all previously fought enemies back to life at random, all having double the power and speed they originally had, and can control them until they are killed again. Killing a Necromancer also kills the creatures it is currently controlling.
Weapons: A 12 gauge shotgun is produced from the weapon port every 11 minutes, each having 2 shots. 1 shot is enough to completely destroy the shield of a Necromancer.
Powers allowed: Medium Level Abilities
Payout: 7,000c
Word Count Required: 8,000
Round 8
Difficulty: Very Difficult
Opponent(s): Police Officers, 3 in number. The ECPD officers are all highly trained, wearing bulletproof vests, helmets, and charms that offer 50% protection from magical attacks and supernatural abilities. Each ECPD officer is the equivalent of a peak condition athlete, equipped with a standard 17 round GLOCK pistol, a shock stick that delivers 100,000 volts upon contact with another person, tear gas and stun grenades.
Weapons: A .44 Magnum is produced from the weapon port every 12 minutes. The Magnum is loaded with 1 armor piercing round that can drop an officer in one shot, no matter where it hits.
Powers allowed: High Level Abilities
Payout: 8,000c
Word Count Required: 9,000
Round 9
Difficulty: Very Difficult
Opponent(s): The Absorber Twins, 2 genetically altered lab experiments designed to absorb attacks executed on them to use back against their opponents with double the power. The twins absorb all attacks launched at them, physical or magical, and are immune to mind and body manipulations (psychic attacks and body invasions for example.) The twins one weakness seems to be to each other, so through clever means the contestant must make the twins fight each other, easier said than done since the twins are fiercely loyal to one another. Each of them can withstand 5 attacks from the other twin before they will fall. Each of the twins must attack and hit each other on the 5th hit for the contestant to win the round, meaning they both have to be defeated at the same time. Should one twin fall and another remain standing, the twin still on their feet will revive the other twin, and the hit count will reset to zero.
Weapons: The weapons from past rounds will be recycled at random into the arena every 13 minutes.
Powers allowed: High Level Abilities
Payout: 9,000c
Word Count Required: 10,000
Round 10
Difficulty: Nearly Impossible
Opponent(s): You. More specifically, a perfect evil clone of you with glowing red eyes, able to use all of your abilities perfectly, and will laugh in the face of every attack you execute. Your evil clone will mirror your every move flawlessly, and possesses none of your weaknesses. A nearly impossible feat, Alec Kane is the only person alive to date to have ever completed this round. Contestants will draw audiences from all around the planet and be catapulted to super stardom should they reach and complete Round 10.
Weapons: The weapons from past rounds will be recycled at random into the arena every 15 minutes.
Powers allowed: All
Payout: 25,000c
Word Count Required: 15,000
