Claws, and Teeth, and Werewolves, OH MY! [Vigilante or Invite][NR]

Amaranth had told them that the werewolves were further in on the island, closer to the center where the Factory was that they had come from. She had heard of the factory, rumors mostly, stuff she had picked up on since they had arrived. Little bites and pieces of information here and there that had told her that it was called the "Toy" factory even though toys had nothing to do with what was being produced there.

So, after depositing her stuff into one of the rooms provided in the underwater lab - preferring the quietness that the underwater lab provided - she changed into more island-like clothing. Knowing that she was going to be battling claw and teeth happy werewolves she chose a pair of jean cut-off shorts, and a white tank top, with an ocean blue colored bikini beneath it that tied up around her neck. Her long purple and black hair was thrown back into a ponytail, bangs and all.

She exited her room, and headed up to the surface of the island via the tunnel provided, wondering where V had got to so they could start the journey inland and finally destroy these werewolves for Alec's granddaughter. As she exited the tunnel, her sneaker covered feet hit the sand and she paused, looking around for V with mismatched eyes...

He wanted to dress in his shorts and wife beater. This is what he was wearing beneath his armor, for when he got done with these monster things. The room he was in down in this underwater lab was pretty amazing. The windows allowed him to see the ocean floor and the many aquatic creatures that inhabited the surroundings. He could have spent hours just sitting there standing, but he came here to do a job. The best thing to do would be to get it out of the way now, before he got lazy or otherwise occupied.

His boots clumped on the floor after he left his room and began walking up the tunnel to the surface. Flexing his arms and throwing several punches, he walked outside, wondering if being bitten by one of these things turned you into one. He saw Cala, probably waiting for him. She was dressed somewhat different; he didn't notice as much skin as he first thought, but perhaps maybe once this was done she'd start to shed more...Not to say that it wasn't an improvement.

"Ready when you are," said V, making sure his gloves were on tight.

Cala looked back to V as he joined her and grinned. "Alrighty then! Let's go whoop some fuzzy butts!" Her unhinged grin slowly formed across her face. "I know where this Toy Factory thing is that the experiments are coming from, so let's go find these werewolves!"

She took off along the beach, heading towards the treeline that started the islands jungle. She didn't worry about trees or other things getting in her way as she began to bob and weave herself around trees, shrubbery, thorn bushes, and even animals which weren't fast enough to get out of her way. She hurtled a fox that was staring at her in a petrified way as she closed in on it, clearing the animal completely and landing on the other side. She glanced back at it, and watched it take off into the jungle, before she continued to run.

She didn't run as fast as she could, not like she had been trying to do when chasing V down, but fast enough that it wouldn't take her forever to get to the Toy Factory. As she got closer she could smell the smoke and the burning smell of chemicals that marked the nearing of the Factory that produced everything but toys.

V bounced in place several times before he took off running behind the Vampire. She'd be faster than him, so he hoped she didn't run too fast ahead and lose him. Speeding along the beach, he set his camera to begin recording everything he saw. There was more than enough room to save thousands of videos since fixing the record function, so there were many things now to catch and watch again later....

The beautiful clean blue waters, the blue skies, the white clouds. The tan color of sand, the green of the jungles in the distance. The nice ass of the insane Vampire running ahead of him. It was distracting, and several times he nearly smashed into one of the trees she began to zig-zag around, and he even almost tripped over that fox. He stumbled a little as he avoided the innocent animal, but didn't fall.

In the distance there was some kind of factory. V knew right off from the smell that toys weren't built here. Not kid's toys, at least. Scans let him know that explosives were being built inside. But by who? More importantly, were some of these explosives going to be used on them? Did the werewolves have that sort of intelligence?

V continued to follow behind the vibrating ass of Cala...

Cala kept running, her enhanced senses, more importantly her hearing, picking up on movement further ahead and to the left of her. Whatever was there it was much larger than the normal animals running about, and its movements sounded chaotic. It also sounded like it wasn't alone. She slowed her run, quieting her footsteps as she did so, which also allowed her to fall back to run beside V.

Vampire Physiology:

"I hear something a little too big to belong over to the left, right up ahead and through those trees..."

And then... well, and then she was being dived at from her right by a very large, very hairy, and about six foot tall beast of a werewolf. It's teeth were dripping with drool and blood, and its claws were likewise covered in blood. Not that she had long to stare, as the werewolf was swiping at her shoulder in an attempt to rip a limb off, more than likely.

She skidded to a stop, instantly, grabbing the arm of the werewolf before its claws had chance to do much harm, with her left hand. Her right she sent out towards the werewolf, palm open. She shoved her palm into the werewolves gut hard and with strength behind the push before it had a chance to respond to her grabbing it the way she did, and she sent the thing flying and crashing into a tree behind it. Both of her eyes bled to purple, Auspex automatically awakening in response to her attack.

Auspex:

All of these werewolves were going to have to die: which meant that ripping limb from limb the werewolf that had just tried to attack her was more than okay. She watched the werewolf get to its feet, shaking its head as if to try and clear it all while growling violently. She waited, prepared for the thing to lunge at her again.

Word Count: 314 + 436 = 750 / 750+

It never got the chance. V never stopped running, quickly catching up to the scene and leaping into the air, using his momentum to slam into the face of this Werewolf with his right foot. There was a loud pop sound; either from the impact of V's boot meeting the face of the creature, or because the bone V hit was now broken. Whatever was the case, the beast began to make a loud howling/whining sound while flying backwards. Vigilante used the jets in his boots to fly along with it and double-hand blow the beast into another direction while airborne, watching as it hit a tree, making it's body spin violently out of control.

3 other Werewolves were approaching from 3 different angles. 2 approached from the left and the right, another one from the front. With Enhanced Agility, Vigilante was able to leap, kicking both of the beasts at his sides, and punch the beast approaching from the front. All blows connected at the same time, and each of the beasts went flying back in the direction from where they'd come.

Spoiler:

Scanning the physiology of the Werewolves to save for later, just in case he ever got into it with a wolf again, wouldn't be a bad idea. It also enabled him to cause double damage against these beasts, ensuring that a confrontation didn't last long toe to toe. It was great exercise and a warm-up in getting ready for that crime boss, Xan. What could have happened to a man to have turned him into a super villain? V had no clue. He imagined the old man's face upon these Werewolves, as another was sent flying backwards to ragdoll effect through the surrounding trees due to a hard forward snap kick.

295 + 414 = 709/750+

Cala watched V slam into the werewolf, and then handle the others that had come to attack him. She herself was likewise surrounded. The werewolf in front of her swiped at her and she grabbed its arm, twisting until the entire thing was broken. At the same time she sent her left foot out, snapping it out towards the werewolf's leg that was next to her: her foot slammed into the werewolf's knee, smashing it upon contact. While that werewolf was busy dealing with the pain she grabbed hold of the other arm of the werewolf in front of her, snapping that arm too.

The burning sensation in her back made her realize that claws were being racked down her flesh. She turned instantly, the back of her shirt now ripped to shreds while her skin already began to heal. Her anger rose: blisteringly so. Before the werewolf that had scratched her could respond to her suddenly facing it she grabbed the top of the things jaw with her left hand and the bottom with the right. She forced them in two separated directions, continuing to do so until a crack sounded; indicating the things skull cracking into two separate halves.

Vampire Physiology:

From there she reigned, breaking each and every of one of the werewolves that came at her. The first suffered a broken neck when she jumped up on the things shoulders and gave a vicious twist to its head. The second that came at her suffered its heart being impaled with its own ribs as she flipped forward off of the shoulders of the werewolf with the broken neck and smashed into its rib cage, breaking all but about two or three ribs.

From there she kept going, punching and kicking at every fuzzy thing that came her way as she moved through the masses of them all, slowly working her way towards the Toy Factory where she could hear the screams and cries for help: which had started up as the sounds of all of the violence had reached the ears of those trapped inside by the werewolves. "I think there's people inside the factory.", she said after punching a werewolf so hard in its head that she knocked it unconscious, its brain bleeding.

Vigilante began to plow his way through the crowd of Werewolves. Some of them had arms, legs, ribs and jaws broken, others were sent flying with power blows. Some were the victim of combos that they couldn't keep up with, and ended up on the ground bleeding and dazed. Vigilante helped to beat up all of the Wolves out front of the factory.

When the last ones were on the ground, unconscious or making whimpering noises that indicated that they were defeated, Vigilante felt he was plenty ready for the crime boss in the Massage Parlor back home in Edge. He'd take the guy out and be famous for bringing down a crime family.

That was still to come. They'd got the job Alec asked them to do done, and these people in the factory were now safe. He told the people who asked his name what it was. A couple of them recognized him from TV, meaning that his popularity and reputation was beginning to spread.

"We all set here?" he asked Cala. He saw that she'd been attacked, but there were no marks, meaning she must have healed already. "That was kinda easy. They need us to do anything else out here?"

With the werewolves either dead, or otherwise too hurt to get back up and fight anymore Cala turned her attention to V as she assured herself her was alright, and then to the people coming out of the factory, finally free from the hell they had been trapped in. She could only imagine how hot it had been inside of there, and how badly it had started to smell.

She turned her attention to V and shook her head. "Nope, we're all done here. I'm sure Amaranth will send some of her experiments out to clean up the mess that got left behind: no evidence and all of that fun cloak and dagger kind of stuff. I suppose we can just head back to the beach or whatever..."

She glanced down at her torn tank, thankful she had worn her bikini beneath her outfit. She grabbed hold of the hem of the shirt and lifted it up and over her head. With the shirt off she turned it over, looking at the damage done to the back. "Yeaaaaah, there's no saving that. Crap, I liked that shirt."
