Leaving from Paradise [Vigilante, Amaranth, or Invite][Travel Thread][NR]

The few days they'd been allowed to stay had flown by far too quickly for Cala's taste. She knew she was going to have to make a habit of coming back here: the weather was nice, the beaches were nice, the people were nice... it was just a lovely place to be. Amaranth had sure done an excellent job when it came to making the perfect paradise. Add on the happy memories of her time spent with Matt while on the island... and yeah, she wasn't forgetting this place anytime soon.

She had packed up her backpack, and had checked several times over again to ensure that she didn't forget anything in her room, and had even returned to her usual outfit: short sleeve hoodie with the cat ears, black baggy cotton pants, and black sneakers.

She stood on the beach, just staring off in the direction of Edge, waiting for Matt to show up, ready to go too, and perhaps Amaranth, so they could say goodbye properly. The girl normally was on the beach or in her lab, and since she wasn't in her lab... she figured she'd find her here.

Noticing Cala on the beach with her backpack she turned and walked over to her, bright red cape billowing in the wind. She stopped nearby and grinned. "Are you guys planning on taking off so soon? Make sure you come back again soon! This place gets addicting." A giggle escaped her at her own wording.

"Do me a favor and tell my grandad that I'll come visit him again soon. Now that those werewolves aren't running around I don't have to worry about leaving my island alone again..."

This had to be like a dream come true. He got to spend a few days on a paradise island that wasn't on the map with a sexy hot Vampire. Best of all was the fact that she was now his girlfriend. If he could, he was going to make coming here a regular thing. As long as it was alright with the Kanes, that is.

Amaranth was right, so Matt reached into his back pack and handed Amaranth the same micro chip that he had given to her grandfather. "Amaranth, this will let you get in touch with me," he said. "It's a direct link to my suit, so it will let you access my systems and look through my camera if I have it online. If my friend Stretch is on, you can talk to him too."

Matt took one long last inhale of Sugure No Shima for now, while his suit began to cover his body, all but his head. "I love this place! If it's alright you'll probably be seeing alot more of us. And ok, i'll be sure to let Mr Kane know what you said, no problem."

Cala grinned and nodded to Amaranth. "I plan on coming back every chance I get, Amaranth. This place is like a dream." She looked over towards V, watching as he handed Amaranth a chip just like the one he'd given Mister Kane. Yup, they'd definitely be coming back again, she could see that now: especially with a member of Amaranth's staff being dead: someone was going to have to help pick up the slack, and Cala for one was more than willing to do her part.

She looked out towards the ocean, contemplating on how she was going to head back. Flying? Running? Some other sort of method? She wondered how V was going to go back, too. "How you heading back to Edge? Flying like before?", she asked, turning her mismatched gaze back to V.

Amaranth took the chip, looking at it curiously as she listened to his words. So, an easy way to get into direct contact with the Vigilante? That would be exceptionally helpful, especially if something bad ended up going down. "Alright, sweet, thanks."

She glanced around her island with a grin and then nodded to the Vigilante. "You are both more than welcome anytime you need, and my doors always open for my lab. Hospitality is something I like to extend, especially to those who help me out. Have a safe journey back you two.." A small pink creature appeared on her shoulder, popping right out of thin air. It began to sniff at her ear.

She tilted her head to the side, trying to avoid the small fingers poking at her ear and neck. "Mew! There are no berries in my ear! Now stop poking me!", she laughed softly as she spoke, her voice far from scolding for the small pink creature.

"If it's all the same to you i'd rather fly there," he responded to Cala, his helmet forming around his head.

After waving to Amaranth and looking at the pink thing that appeared, V jumped into the air and took off using his jets and cape. He began to pick up speed as he moved up and down, building momentum. It wouldn't be long before Vigilante would be speeding along like a bullet. The water would disappear, replaced by land and trees. Small towns and big cities would pass by, until reaching the most familiar city of Edge; it's skyline unforgettable to those that were native.

After a quick flight around the planet that he was sure Cala was right with him on, The Vigilante landed on the heliport of Darkman Tower...

Cala gave a last wave to Amaranth and the pink thing that had suddenly appeared: reminding herself never to get Amaranth pissed off at her: not when she had creatures popping out of thin air around her like that. She flew up into the air, and followed after Matt. She didn't bother rushing, and instead kept pace with Matt as they flew back to Edge.

She landed next to Matt and grinned. "I suppose we should go check in with Mister Kane... Let him know we're back, and the werewolf problem was taken care of..." With that said she turned, heading over to the stairwell, and down the steps to Alec's office.
